My first thought

They used to say, don't fall in love, it will ruin your life, and will make a mess of you, I used to laugh when i used to be alone, because, their eyes used to hold fondness, and some resentment, creating a paradox.

I met you, and without realizing, you became my muse, I started writing about you, my poems and works become full of you, without realizing they started singing songs of you, that only I can here lyrics of, they were the conversations we had on late night calls, people would only notice, they were the love song, from the tune and my words dripping love from it. you gave me every reason to believe in Love and I did, remembering how I used to laugh at people but now I had quite understood it, you taught me love, showed me love, I said, I don't know How i would feel, if you left me, i would not be able to breath, because today, when someone talks about about love, my first thought is you.

that was of past, though, now 6 months later, though still, when someone talks about about love, my first thought is you, but that is not the end line, end line was something else, you had said, you were disappointed in me, because I could not reach the expectations you had set, I could see the boat leaving, but i had been pulling it, I crossed the ocean while you were just sleeping in, it. so, when I stopped making efforts, you started coming around, fearing I would drown us down in the middle of this ocean, because you knew of my ruthlessness, you were aware of my cruelty, but your love had erased my edges, you were just unaware of it.

fear and anger brings true nature out, funny how your words seem to have undertones, after burning down my house, you came around as none of it was played out, you gained my trust just to break it, you made that decision consciously, without being drunk on alcohol, you just had toxic masculinity, I think that sums up your whole personality, They used to say, don't fall in love, it will ruin your life, and will make a mess of you, Now I am quite when i am alone, because, I have to cry my self to sleep, and I finally understood why they have resentment, and that hate and anger, because still today, when someone talks about betrayal, my first thought is you.
