Scenes from a Kaiba Marriage and Temptation by my blueshipping queen @kisara-kaiba as the opening. the peak of modern life blueshipping fluff, very lovesick, when im reading them its heart full, head empty. youre gonna be lucky to start them now cuz ill be rereading and drawing scenes from them this week👀. itll be like premium fanfic reading.

Enjambment -> this fic might be the single best written blueshipping fic by the virtue of MIRRORING their encounter in ancient Egypt beat by beat, including BOTH of their character arcs and the netflix show vibe of suspense and the sharp, cold and bleak setting is chefs kiss. changed my brain chemistry. still one of my favorite portrayals of Kisara.

Maiden with Eyes of Blue -> Sometimes time needs to slow down and a single scene should be a character study/ hashing out of things you needed acknowledged by canon, the situation is ESPECIALLY dire for Seto Kaiba as ive made my feelings on his writing known many times. This is it. Kisara isnt reincarnated in this one though, but her love for him can be felt in the air. Ngl you could just incorporate this into post canon and it would be fine. canon compliant+ canon enriching.

Shades of Water, Ice, and Sky -> I'm skimming through each fic to see what they were about and i just gotta say: why so heart-wrenching if so short?? theyre in love your honor.

Their Promise: Book I -> ok gonna be honest w you i havent finished this one and the main reason is that i cant go past the SPECTACULAR first chapter. ive started and failed to draw it in its entirety. i open it, i chew on the first chapter like a rabid dog, i close it more often than not. the second reason is it has a lot more angst and heartbreak than most blueship fics do and im weak to that sort of thing. still, if we follow their ancient egypt encounter beat by beat, which is a fantastic way of following and enriching the canon, their first meeting needs to be as kids with him saving her from a cage. chefs kiss.

who are you? -> JUST the right amount of Seto Kaiba immediate fixation obsession on Kisara (which means insanely obsessed)

You Will Crave Your Ancient Roots -> this is so good and so heartbreaking man. Seto and Atem are shot back into ancient Egypt and Seto is only able to slightly alter the events around Kisara. hes fated to fall for that woman every single time and *starts sobbing*

Ancient Rules -> all i gotta say is this Seto Kaiba gives me brainworms. hes chuck full of Passion and Cockiness and Insanity. blueshippers sometimes take out his insanity. he is very unsettling here i love it. Kisara is truly at his mercy..

never forget your first dream -> fem!Set and Kisara in ancient Egypt, this story twists more than just Seto's gender. im a yuri seto truther so its great to have written proof of it. jokes aside, very well characterized Set and Kisara, rich writing.

One in Forty -> pretty short but this one fundamentally changed how i viewed Kisara's canon influence over BEWD cards and her constant and unbendable favor around Seto. canon compliant + canon enriching.

ok so these are the cream of the crop for ME personally, might have forgotten some in my other folders, i might have missed reading some, its probably not all encompassing. but frankly ive liked and saved fics for a single resounding line, single funny joke, one interesting implication about the story or the characters the author wrote up so in my heart theyre all worth checking out, always. fanfic writers are carrying this ship on their backs and theyre all 9 ft tall and im just walking around them, clearing the path, giving them a sip of water and snacks etc. so THANK YOU BLUESHIPPING AUTHORS I LOVE YOUUUUUU

besides, I fixed some details and I was so nervous when I sent it that I didn't comment on half of the things I should have commented on-

the context of this fanart is to represent our beloved protagonist of Arsenic Blues, our problem girl and daddy's girl Percy, watching the fights from the canonical events of Record of Ragnarok. I drew her as if she was in Mer form because for some reason I thought she was in an aquarium while she watched the fights (??? don't ask why, I don't even know the answer 😭)

anyway, I tried to do it in the manga style of Record of Ragnarok, although it didn't turn out as good as I wanted.. I plan on doing a painted/anime version someday. I hope you like it, Queen, I love your fanfic/work of art! 💝

moderately alarmed that i keep getting new followers, considering posting some lukewarm takes to shake off anyone too unreasonable. maybe reblog some fanart of my favorite "problematic" pairings. i'm so tired tho that it's hard to think what to post. my brain's doing just EXTENDED compulsion zone-outs. like as coping mechanisms for anxiety or stress or whatever the fuck it is, the brain spirals are about as useful as my digestive system's freak outs, ie, negatively so! like i'm stressed out and my body and its brain went "hmm how do we help with the stress" and came up with nausea and losing time. amazing.

I'm not sure if any of these are strictly WWE, but I'm using this as an excuse to highlight some of my favourite creators here on Tumblr. I'm going for ones I haven't mentioned previously so please check out my previous posts here and here for some amazing writers, artists and mutuals that I love dearly!

1) @princedevitt - Whenever I watch a match (usually an LA Knight one) and he does a facial expression that's really cute or writhes beautifully on the floor or drops the bottom of his balls out on live tv, I say to myself 'I really hope princedevitt has made a gif of that.' And more often than not, he has! He's also a fellow appreciator of Knight's slutty trunks (and appears to be on a mission to murder me with his Nexus/Sideburn Punk gifs!!!)

2) @taydaq - Just the most beautiful ship art I've ever seen. I'm not even an ambreigns or hartbreak girlie but my gooodddd I could easily jump on board the way they draw them. Then there was the Punkintyre piece they did for me as part of an art swap and... *incoherent screaming*

3) @tvheit - Another incredible artist. Such beautiful, colourful, stunning art that I could stare at for days on end (and sometimes do...). I have not forgotten that I owe you a piece for our art trade - it's on my to-do list!

4) @fantasticalleigh - Where I get my regular Punkintyre fanart fix! Gorgeous! Just gorgeous! Their latest 'Broken Man' series is just MWAH!

5) @codypunk - Beautiful art. The kind that makes me re-think my entire style. The way they draw hair (especially Punk's hair) makes me foam at the mouth a little. OK, a lot!!!!

6) - @werkingstiffx - I am just... in awe of them! They don't post often but every time they do, whether it's artwork or a fancam it's just earth-shattering, mind-altering, brain-melting-in-my-skull-and-oozing-out-of-my-nose-and-ears good!

7) @ekmsoldier - Speaking of artists who are other-worldly and make me want to throw my ipencil across the room and give up drawing forever because I will just never ever make anything as beautiful. Took me a while to realise but I used to follow this artist on IG way back when. I've always adored their Finn Balor/Demon King art and it's only gotten better with time. Like, seriously, transcending universes better!!!

8) @normallypassingby - Every so often, this kinda 'dump' of Punkintyre artwork appears on the tags and I'm always mesmerised by it. I adore this artist's anime style and sometimes have to catch my breath at their work!

9) @redhotchilimouse - It's not fair! It's just not fair how achingly beautiful your artwork is! The soft tones, feathery linework and... you just... you draw men in trunks so damn well!!!

I should think of a 10) but I'm tired and my brain won't work anymore. I have missed soooooo many other incredible talents on here so I'm sorry if I didn't tag you this time - I'm be sure to rectify my mistake the next time!

Second of all, we got our twitter account back! We ended up deleting that one post that twitter didn’t like (yes, the one that doesn’t have anything explicit or any nudity on it), which obviously sucks, but at least now we can jump back to posting more or less regularly.

And now that this situation is over, I can say about the thing that honestly tickled me: the last person who wrote a callout post on me right before our acc got locked (=the person who very likely caused the massreporting in the first place) got accused of grooming a 13 y.o. and had their account terminated the very next day. What a great illustration of how the fandom climate works, right? Hilarious.

We love first year Rook with first year Idia so much, Anon, you have no idea! And Rook/Idia in general, this is one of the things that I really want to draw properly at least once. For now we only have sketches…

But to answer your question! I like to think that Rook was very intrigued by Idia right away; of course Idia isn’t a beastman, but he is not only super bright and shiny-looking (unusual! Interesting!), but also is a very rare pokemon to see. It’s very easy to picture Rook getting excited and charmed by him, maybe he even had a period of a little obsession~ But of course none of this is in any way returned by Idia; to him being suddenly surrounded by so many loud and annoying people his age is already stressful enough, but Rook is somehow worse than all of them combined. He hates everyone from Savanaclaw, but they’re usually just rude jerks, but Rook? If only he was a rude jerk…

This is such a good question, Anon. It’s honestly still kind of easy to imagine him doing that. He punishes himself constantly, and while I don’t think this is necessarily about control, this absolutely could be about wanting to make himself feel even worse or to distract himself from the other kind of deep pain he’s feeling. Since we’re talking about a character here, as an artist I can also add that seeing him this way could be aesthetically pleasing, there are some very good artworks with this theme.

That being said, we usually tend to think that Idia wouldn’t do that. I agree that Idia being phobic of pain sounds very like him, but also? He is very detached from the physical side of things in general, I think. He would rather torment himself mentally.

Another reason for Idia and selfharm not really working in our heads is that I don’t think Ortho would let him. He is very sensitive to changes in his health condition after all.

25. What was your first impression of this character? How about now?

Didn't think much of him at first, mostly since I played MW2 first and he's barely in it, but then I played MW19 and I immediately liked his vibe and his dynamic with Price. I saw the NikPrice fanarts and knew I would end up loving this ship some day. I like morally ambiguous characters, so a shady mobster looking guy who turns out is a good old friend to captain Price? Come on, he was made for me.

Now, well, the Nikolai brainrot is real BRRRRR. I just think he's a very interesting character and that even though we don't get a lot of content with him in canon, we still have enough to deduce a lot of things about him. He clearly is my muse at the moment too, I just love drawing him <3

Yesterday was the first anniversary of the Mario Movie, and I made this quick doodle I've thought quite late but I still wanted to put some effort into it, after it's one of my fave pieces of medias about this series. May have some plot holes and not be an envolving and serious story, but I still can't dislike it. I genuinely love this movie. And I can't wait for its sequel in 2026. :3
