Hey Soll!! How are you?? Have a nice and good day ^o^!!
I want to talk about the voice of the girl who helps Master Also, she is the one who gave the seal to them... In fact, I expect that she and Muuchi are the same person, but her control over Muuchi is not sufficient? It's as if she knows everything from the beginning, and also how does she know about the Bulter ?? Is she previous master ? (In reality, I don't know if there was a previous master )
But her presence and Muu's presence are still very strange, and Muuchi does not remember that he helped the master What do you think? Have a good day <3
Sorry if my English is bad!!
hiya, anon!! I’m doing well (*≧∀≦*), how are you 💞? thank you for coming to discuss this with me and letting me know your thoughts 💖!! I’ll add my thoughts as well; though we don’t have much information about the voice so these are only my thoughts.
also, anon, please don’t apologise for your English 💞!! your English is good! English isn’t my first language either. (and we should not respect English as a language enough to care about making mistakes in it hehe 😃✨)
[for context; I’m speaking about the voice that talks to Aruji the first time they come to the aknk world and the one that talks to them when the butlers are under control of their demons. also, isn’t the voice the same as the person/entity as the pink eyed cat? I’m assuming it is?]
i haven’t seen people talk about that voice/the cat (with pink eyes) too often unfortunately, but they play an extremely important role! [they have their own voice actor (a girl) too! but their gender isn’t known I think?]
i mean, if it wasn’t for them guiding Aruji, Aruji would never have been able to help butlers when they’re under the influence of their demons.
they’re also the first person that makes contact with Aruji, way before the butlers ever did in Aruji’s own world (the real world/our world).
they knew about the existence of the devil butlers, the despair they carry in their hearts and a way for Aruji to save them.
it’s rather strange and we have no information about them 😭 like are they a demon, a person or as some people say, are they related to Belen?
also, something else I noticed just recently! the voice talking to Aruji/MC tells Aruji that they don’t want the butlers or Aruji to have regrets in their heart when they finally die (?) why would would MC have had regrets in their heart if they had continued living their old life and never have met the devil butlers?
moreover, anon, while we do not have it confirmed in the main story, I do believe there may have been previous Arujis before MC ✨!
the ring our MC uses may have existed way before and Berrien used to contact the Arujis at that time with it too. also, Boschi’s reaction to Aruji gave it away too that there was an Aruji before them too + Lono said at the time that he hopes MC doesn’t die and he says this in a very ominous way? he could have meant it due to the fear of angel attacks but his way of saying it had kind of another meaning behind it, as if there were other Arujis like MC who died too.
so is an Aruji always present with the devil butlers (a new one coming after the old one dies) or does one come every few years? hmm 🤔
also, even though there may have been Arujis before MC, they did not have the power to save butlers from their demonisation/when they are under the control of their demons. that we know, since Berrien (one of the very first two devil butlers) was unfamiliar with it (other Arujis did not have it.).
so the voice person is new; meaning they may not have been contact with the previous Arujis.
and yes, Muu does not some seem to remember the voice at all or being possessed by it.
coming to the topic of him, who is Muu anyway? how can he talk despite being a cat?
Elvira (the fortune telling witch of the north) thought Muu was a familiar of a witch (because he could speak). I wonder why Muu was specifically picked by that person to stay with Aruji and be a medium for their communication?
[also! I just remembered something! in the first episode of the main story, in which MC talks to a black cat, wears the golden ring dropped by it and is taken to the aknk universe, the voice tells MC that it will meet them very soon in another place.
and then in the coming episodes, Muu drops from the sky in a box. could it be interrelated? or could Muu be just a vessel for that person?]
all of this is my speculation/theories so it might be all wrong 😭 we’ll get information about all this in chapter 5 I think so hopefully we can expand more on it, and be able to talk about it ✨💗
Thank you for the ask anon! I’m glad i got to talk about it (with the little information i had!) anon, if you are more comfortable sending asks in your own language (japanese, I’m guessing?), feel free to do that 💖!!
also, anon, what do you think about the magical robes/魔法服 the butlers use fighting angels? Berrien said that without Aruji’s power, the clothes are useless. how do you think they came to be?
I hope you have wonderful day ahead, kind anon (*≧∀≦*)!! also, I apologise for answering this ask this late; I was going to answer it earlier but I was busy with school work 😭
please free to send another ask about your thoughts about anything else 🫶! have you read chapter 4 yet? what are your thoughts about it 💞?
#sol’s asks#muu#thank you for the ask once again!#muu is such a mysterious character#we know so little about him#i wonder what’s his connection with the voice

I talked about my Milgram actors theory earlier, but @amugoffandoms reminded me I also have a little emotional support au version of the idea I’ve been meaning to chat about! It's actually not a typical actors au -- the canon events still happen, but are staged by the in-universe Milgram organization.
(Edit, now with a fic!)
Just like in canon, the organization has a mysterious/supernatural ability to identify and track down ten specific people at their breaking point. In this au, though, it's ten people who could have committed crimes soon. They discreetly reach out to these individuals, requesting for them to be actors in their experiment. They say there will be someone playing a prison guard, and explain the premise. With a bit of coaxing or bribing for a few, they all accept.
Milgram ensures these newfound “prisoners” don’t need to change many details about their lives – the less lies to keep track of, the easier it would be for these ordinary people to pull off such an extensive con.
Some of them are exactly as they were right before their murders, such as Yuno, Fuuta, Muu, and Kotoko. Haruka, his sister, and Amane did go through traumatic abuse, but it was Milgram that pulled them out of the situation before they resorted to murder. Mikoto is/has been aware of his alters for a while at this point.
Some of the others are taken from their lives after things that could have ended fatally turned out alright: Shidou’s family got into an accident but all recovered; Milgram picked up on his private realization that he would have done anything to save them, were the damage worse. Mahiru and Kazui’s partners attempted/considered suicide, but did not succeed. In Mahiru’s case, they reached a friendship despite breaking up. I still don’t know enough about Kazui’s wife, but I like to think they’re pretty separate now.
The ten prisoners weren’t allowed to meet beforehand, but they individually collaborated with the Milgram team to write the lyrics for their t1 songs and film their videos. I'll mention more about the other actors later, but the filming process is a lot of fun. Though the topics confront them with some unsavory thoughts about themselves, it's a good time singing and acting and getting the giggles on set and everything.
Milgram pulls Es from wherever they were for whatever reason, wipes their memory, and drops them into the prison. The prisoners are unaware that Es didn't come willingly, as they all did.
Once the experiment begins, everyone’s interactions that we’ve seen to this point are genuine. The prisoners get to know each other, while they come to terms with the fact that themselves and these others all had murderous potential. Their personalities, behaviors, and stories from their lives are all true. In the interrogations, they speak honestly to Es about their values and choices. The only faked things are the actual references to the murders, and the “invisible force” that they pretend to hit when acting in violence. Mikoto is instructed to use a bit of violence during his interrogation, though Kotoko sneaking in wasn’t scripted – she genuinely had her concerns about his character and acted accordingly.
While Es sleeps after T1, the prisoners are treated the same regardless of verdict. They provide the team with their genuine thoughts about one another to decide what the staged incidents should be. Kotoko doesn’t actually hate the guilty prisoners, but she recognizes she would’ve wanted to take justice into her own hands in a real situation. Amane is very upset but Es' verdict, but the team helps her dramatize her transformation a bit. Haruka and Muu genuinely get that close. Yuno does wish to be left alone.
They film their second trial videos, now allowed to be around the other prisoners as they do so. They also invite people in their life to come in and play their victims. Yes, it’s just as awkward as it sounds. This is where the prisoners do their real reflection – they think about Es’ verdict for them and what they could have been capable of. There’s a bit of relief from both parties knowing that things will turn out alright now that Milgram intervened (ironic, I know, but this is my fix-it hehe). Shidou’s kids are excited to be filmed, not really understanding the context. Haruka once again works with an actor playing his younger self, a bit put off by how similar they look and the memories he bring back. Haruka’s mother, Rei, and Amane’s cult members (if they appear) are some of the only characters played by strangers, though they do look strikingly similar to the real people. Fuuta’s victim is also played by a stranger. Things are still tense with Hinako, but she agrees to appear.
The team helps the prisoners fake injuries with lots bandages and slings. Then they wake Es. The same is repeated for T2/T3.
Now, I’ve played out a few different paths depending on my angst tolerance at the moment – sometimes Es goes through with the third trial verdicts and is forced to watch the executions (not realizing they're cleverly staged). Sometimes they refuse, finding a way to stop the whole experiment. Sometimes the prisoners realize that Es has been an unwilling participant, and bring the experiment to a stop themselves. Sometimes someone jams a wrench in the mv machine and try to blow it up in order for everything to end before final verdicts.
Because of limited details, the ending can play out however one wants. But my go-to is that Es wake up sometime afterwards in a clean facility filled with scientists. They’re brought to an interrogation room – this time on the other side of the questioning. They’re asked about their motivations, actions, emotions, choices, verdicts (or the reason they rebelled at the very end). A few doors down, the prisoners are being asked similar questions of self-reflection and morality.
Es demands to know what’s going on, while the team tries to assure them that the prisoners are all fine. Es doesn’t buy this, though. They know what kind of mind games the experiment has tried to pull, and can’t tell what’s truth or lie anymore. Things get heated as they demand to see the prisoners. Meanwhile, the prisoners are getting worked up asking about Es. If they haven't already, this is when they learn that Es was an actual prisoner there the whole time. The last time they were together the situation was very intense, and they’re all incredibly worried about them.
In the end, they manage to break out of their rooms and reunite in the middle of the facility, and Es is shocked. All ten are alive and well, even those they may have seen die. No eyes or limbs are missing. They’re all laughing and getting along, no matter what kinds of fights they got into between trials. Even more shocking is when the victims join them later – also all alive and happy.
The ending has a bit of unavoidable angst since Es would be pretty fucked up by the whole experiment. They’d struggle with trust issues and knowing what’s reality. However, it’s still an overwhelmingly happy ending. They get to befriend the prisoners and their families outside of the painful context they met in. Regretting their ignorance of the situation, the prisoners decide to make up for lost time and spend a lot of positive, quality time with Es. The kids are finally allowed to play, and the they finally let the adults act a bit protective over them. This is when the found family completely kicks in lol. Es gets to sleep easy knowing they are all alive and happy, they receive all their memories again, and they get to return home to their own family.
I added it to a reblog but editing with @/qrevo's tags because this is what I was looking for but couldn't quite pin down to make it healing for Es too:
#milgram#haruka sakurai#yuno kashiki#fuuta kajiyama#muu kusunoki#shidou kirisaki#mahiru shiina#kazui mukuhara#amane momose#mikoto kayano#kotoko yuzuriha#es#its not 'the prisoners leave milgram and get therapy' its 'milgram itself is the therapy for the prisoners'#i know the typical actors au would be more of a fix-it but i liked still having a small taste of the canon drama and interactions#its also nice to relate to es' relief -- after ive gone through the angst of canon its nice to imagine everything is okay#so in the au they also go through the angst of canon only to be relieved finding out it was fake and everyone is okay#it also keeps the prisoners lives/personalities the same!#as fun as it is to see actors aus give them whole new personalities offscreen im incredibly attached to these characters and this let me#keep them exactly the same lmao#on days i need the most fluff i picture the prisoners all together filming the t2 mvs -- getting giggly and silly on set#making bloopers and cheering each other on and interacting happily with their 'victims'#when i want intense but good emotions i love thinking of that reunion scene. es exclaiming that fuutas eye is okay and theyre all alright#lots of hugs and tears#(the only details i cant quite work out is how jackalope can talk in this fairly-realistic setting asdfd#that and the undercover mv wouldnt make any sense because es wouldnt have filmed it but ah well)#anyway if anyone has any thoughts or anything lmk! ive been really vibin with this au#analysis/thoughts#lights camera sing your sins

Yesterday I was having lots of 09 thoughts & mainly talked about him, so today I'll talk about why I think Haruka will not die before T3.
First off, what is the point of leaving such an engaging mystery unsolved?
If you think about it, Haruka's death would add two things in the story: drama factor to test the fans' feelings, and a chance to learn more about the extraction system. For the drama/emotional factor, it would be more useful if he stayed alive in critical condition; the fans' feelings will change and that will affect how these fans vote for Haruka and the other prisoners. In the scenario that he dies, the other prisoners' character developments will get somewhat of a push but Haruka's case will remain unsolved forever; if he stayed alive, I think that would help him and everyone develop further. e.g we would see more tension with Muu as she seems to be spending less time with him, we would see how Haruka struggles to cope with his verdict, how he interacts with the other prisoners etc it is much more compelling that way in my opinion
There is a possibility the extraction system could work on a dead body but 1. there would be no VD and VDs are important because they force the prisoner to think about and focus on their crime before extraction, 2. I don't see it being worth killing off a character, there are other more effective ways to get a reaction out of the audience and keep all of the prisoners' fates tied. And if it doesn't work, then wasn't Haruka's death pointless? It is just such a fruitless way to seal his case. Him being dead has only one outcome, which is...well, being dead. But surviving his attempt may have many outcomes: he might not attempt at all and remain unscathed, he might get in critical condition, he might be punished for attempting to escape milgram's boundaries by dying; who knows?
Not only narrative-wise is Haruka important, but also Haruka is a fan favorite, at least in JP fandom. He is well-loved, a lot of fans are intrigued by his case and killing him off without even getting close to solving his deal—which I see as one of if not the most ambiguous in the prison for many reasons—will leave a lot of fans disappointed and some may quit milgram, so the sales and audience etc will drop.
You have to keep in mind that Jackalope is biased, loves messing with us and sometimes says or implies things that are not true (e.g implying Haruka and Muu's dynamic to be romantic "lovey-dovey" when they are just friends) so you should not take anything he says—much like most of the info we are presented in milgram generally—at surface level.
Something else to be considered but which I wouldn't rely on as heavily, is that minigrams have foreshadowed things before (e.g system Amane), and Haruka has been really in the spotlight in nearly every recent minigram. I take this as a sign that he might not only survive but also play an important role in T3.
#milgram#haruka sakurai#sakurai haruka#milgram project#milgram spoilers#repeat after me#HARUKA SAKURAI WILL LIVE#i also feel like a death in the prison may be too gruesome even for milgram#imagine the atmosphere in the timelines if theres just some dead body. imagine the sounds and stuff in the VD when they're trying to move#around a corpse#it's very boring really

THE COMPLETE GUIDE TO WATCHING MILGRAM (as of the end of the 2nd trial)
Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3
INTRO
What's Milgram? Milgram is a multimedia project whose central concept revolves around the audience judging the character's crimes. All of them stand accused of murder after being brought to the mysterious prison of Milgram, but were their actions truly wrong? Only the audience, through the medium of the amnesiac guard Es, can decide that. Vote them GUILTY or INNOCENT according to your ethics or your whims over the course of three trials , and watch how their lives change in response.
You can read a list of trigger warnings here. Who's working on it? The musical and visual components are led by the vocaloid producer Deco*27 and his employees at OTOIRO, with him working on the lyrics and composing half the songs, while the other half is handled by Rockwell. Teddyloid often works in the songs' arrangement as well. Yamanaka Takuya is in charge of all writing in the MILGRAM project, except for the novels and their manga adaptation which were done by Nami Tsumi. His works tend to revolve around trauma and people's inner darkness, and are often music-related multimedia franchises such as the Caligula Effect series, Utagoe wa Mille-Feuille and Boisterous Six. (Fun fact: the last one was prompted by the thought that if he made a collab with the Takuya Yamanaka who's part of The Oral Cigarettes, maybe people would stop confusing them. It did not work.)
For more details, check the wiki's Staff page.
How do I vote? You'll need an account for either Twitter or LINE (Japanese texting app). Then go to the JUDGE page in the official website and click on the icon of a character that's not grayed out. (If they all are, then you need to wait until the new trial starts). You'll be asked to give the site permission to use your Twitter/LINE account. The website should remember your credentials afterwards. You can vote once a day every day for as long as the poll is open. The general rhythm of the project is that a song releases, then another releases next month and the next one takes two months to come out. Since each poll lasts for three months, this means that there should always be two characters available for voting, unless there are delays or you're at the very end or start of a trial.
How does this guide work? / Usage notes Due to Tumblr's restriction on the amount of links per post, this guide will have three parts.
I've organized content according to platform/format, but I also paid mind to original release date and overall importance to the plot. I've added some supplementary notes and explanations when I thought it was relevant. Sometimes the information is part of a larger theory post, but please don't take the link as endorsement of any particular theory. There will be links to the MILGRAM wiki, which is not spoiler-free. If you navigate to the character's main pages, you will immediately see images that spoil developments in the latest trial. This also applies to the official website's character pages. There will also be Youtube links. Since the suggestions can also contain spoilers, you can copypaste the link into Polsy to avoid them. You'll still get videos thumbnails when you pause or when the video ends, but from what I can see they're limited to the videos found on the uploader's channel.
TRANSLATIONS
Official Website
Character Profiles milgrammer (Click "profile" for each prisoner)
Voicelines First trial: milgrammer (Same as above) Second trial: Rochisama (Section: Voice lines)
A different set of translations can be found in the Milgram wiki. It is also the easiest way to access the audio, as old lines get retired from the official website and Wayback Machine is inconsistent in saving them. The quotes can be found in their own subpage, such as https://milgram.fandom.com/wiki/Momose_Amane/Quotes . Substitute character names accordingly, and keep in mind that Muu and Fuuta's names are spelled with two u's.
According to the writer's tweets, the prompts for the first trial's voicelines are: 1) Introduce yourself. 2) You're a murderer, aren't you? 3) Is there something you'd like to tell the guard (me)? 4) and 5) What do you think about Milgram?
And for the second trial: 1) To the awakened guard 2) Regarding the first trial's results 3) Regarding changes in the second trial 4) Comments on the first trial 5) What do you think about Milgram?
Loading Screen During the first trial, the loading icon for the website displayed the message "Sing your sins." When the second trial started, the icon was changed. Now it looks the same as the first one for a second, then morphs into "Doubt your punishment." You can see a gif of it here.
Youtube Channel
Teasers These are brief videos which feature the characters speaking sentences out of context. So far we've seen some, but not all of them pop up in the series itself. Some seem to take place in the past, so it's likely not all of them will show up. Note that these videos contain flashing lights, chaotic visuals and screaming. Translations can be found in comments. - First season teaser - Second season teaser
Voice Trailers These trailers have normal and glitchy lines. The normal parts are taken from the website voice lines, while the glitchy lines aren't featured anywhere else. Translations for the static-filled lines can be found in the comment section, and Rochisama also translated the second-trial lines in their website. - First season voice trailer - Second season voice trailer
PV Technically our first real intro to the series, but given the unstranslated onscreen text and the dodgy subtitles, it can be skipped. There's some concept art not shown elsewhere; A cleaned up version can be viewed here and here. The website features a lower shot of the same art shown in the last link.
Song trailers These feature short snippets of upcoming content: songs and one sentence per prisoner. You can skip this if you've already watched the songs and voice dramas in question; the only difference is that sometimes the translation is slightly different. - First trial - Second trial
Main Songs, Jackalope Videos and Voice Dramas In-universe, the voice dramas take place before the songs. However, up until midway through the second trial the songs were uploaded first and the albums (containing the dramas) would be released 1-2 weeks later, so it seems the intended viewing order is the other way around. The tracklist order also supports this, so I'll be using the song->voice drama order. ES and Undercover are special cases. Undercover doesn't seem to exist in-universe, with the timeline for this one being A Milgram Anybody Can Understand->ES->Website voicelines. For the sake of consistency, I still used the song->VD ordering, with A Milgram being placed afterwards due to being released later.
Lastly, some of the official English titles are different from the Japanese ones. I wrote down both the official translation, marked (EN), and a translation from Japanese marked (JP)
First trial Official song playlist
Undercover (Instrumental) Notes: Milgram's theme song and its first release. The official subtitles were changed during the second trial to reference the song titles, at the cost of being less accurate to the original Japanese: you can see the original lyrics here. The lamp that shows up at 2:11 says 御霊燈, "spirit lantern." This kind of lantern is placed at the house of the deceased for 49 days after death. It serves to both announce that the family is in mourning and a guide for the spirit of the deceased; fire being a way for ghosts to find their way from and to the afterlife is a common motif in Japanese folklore. The kanji above the scratched-out text reads "deceased." Text on the sticky notes on Mikoto's screen. ES (Text)
A Milgram Anybody Can Understand
Weakness (EN) / The Weak are Meat, Eat your Fellows (JP) (Instrumental) Notes: A theory post analysing the title and word choices used. Writhing of the Weak (Text)
Umbilical (Instrumental) Relative Zero (Text)
Bring It On (Instrumental) Notes: Onscreen text translation. Cultural context on lyrics. Braze you!! (Text)
After Pain (Instrumental) Notes: Onscreen text translation. Crying B (Text)
Throw Down (Instrumental) Notes: Onscreen text translation Moloch (Text)
This Is How to Be in Love With You (EN) / It's Love! (JP) (Instrumental) Notes: Onscreen text translation Love is Mine (Text)
half (Instrumental) Gouging In The Night (EN) / Night of Exposure (JP) (Text)
magic (Instrumental) Notes: Onscreen text translation. (Some corrections: "Happily supporting" is more like "Happiness-supporting" and "Weird Monk" would be "Mysterious Monk.") Apostle and Death (EN) / Apostle and Death and (JP) (Text) Notes: The odd extra "and" in the Japanese title is to make the title sound more repetitive. It's pronounced Shito to Shi to.
MeMe (Instrumental) Notes: The yellow sign at 1:28 reads "WARNING. This is private property! It's not a public dumpster! Don't just throw your trash wherever you like. Anyone caught fly-tipping will be reported immediately. WARNING." The tarot cards (probably) say "MIKOTO TAROT CARD" at the bottom. John Doe (Text) Notes: "Remember your murder" should be "I'll remember that, you murderer!"
Harrow (Instrumental) Notes: Summarized onscreen text translation (highlighted comment). Alternate full translation. TASK (Text) Notes: "Heh, I should be the one thanking you" / "Heh, you’ve gotten the order of expressing gratitude wrong." should be "That's not the kind of face you should be making when thanking somebody"

My two cents on lying in Milgram, from a writer’s perspective – I actually don’t think the characters are lying to us at all.
I’m going to preface this by saying I love hearing everyone’s theories and I am still very open to the idea!! I mention a few specific theories here but I’m not trying to come after people who believe them, I’m just giving examples ;--; I won’t be crushed if it’s revealed the characters have been giving us false information, and I’m not trying to push this theory on others. Looking at the project for what it is, I just want to point out that it’s not beneficial to the project as a whole if that’s what’s going on.
Now, I’m definitely not claiming we are given everything as perfect truths. The Milgram team has certainly had a lot of fun with unreliable narrators, misdirection, and omission of important information. Muu never lied about her role in bullying Rei, it just didn’t come up in t1. Mahiru never lied about the reality of her crime, she was just unreliable because she genuinely saw things in the best light. Characters can keep information and personality traits hidden, or point us to distracting details, or frame things in a very particular tone to maximize upcoming twists.
But why? It all comes down to the fact that Milgram is not a murder mystery story. It doesn’t have the same goals as a mystery, thriller, or even as a story itself. It’s an experiment, or an interactive project at least. There are fun surprises that shift our perceptions of the characters, but no grand twists like you’d find in a normal story. (See this post where I expand on that.) Normal narratives focus on exciting twists and secrets. Milgram, however, is about our decisions. The team doesn’t want to mislead us entirely, because that would make the whole project useless. I’ve seen some posts about Yuno having actually killed someone and the abortion was just a red herring, or similar cases about prisoners hiding their “true” victim – but if that were the case, two-thirds of their whole story becomes absolutely pointless to the overall project.
Yamanaka has said he wants his audience to reflect on their biases and judgements. Why provide us with completely wrong information to work with? That wouldn’t be beneficial to our process of humanizing the characters, which in turn wouldn’t be beneficial to the themes of the whole project. Also, it would lose credibility if lies are exposed. The minute they reveal a piece of information was a lie, every single interrogation, question, and timeline can be thrown out as unreliable. You can't run a project like this if the audience loses faith in what they can believe.
And, if the nature of the project isn't convincing enough, I think a major point of proof is Kazui. His whole theme is being a liar, but nothing he said in the first trial has been contradicted – if Milgram truly wanted to write characters who lied, he would have been the one to show signs of misinformation by now. And yet, all of Half and his vd hold up strong. The fact that he of all people has always given us the truth (even if it’s extremely limited and hazy) is very telling that they’re avoiding characters actually lying to us.
#milgram#i really dont want to come off as rude ;--; im just excited about such a unique medium!!#ive been seeing a ton of theories that revolve around character lies and thought id point it out#ah i tried to keep it short but i had a lot to say sadfdsf#its good for me to keep in mind when engaging with it#rose posts

Hi! >:- 3c surprised to see me here? Cause I'm a bit, to be making this. So! Context is I made a Muu playlist and I wanted to make a post about why I ordered it the way I did. Not to mention why I chose the songs I did.
So, as they say, from the top~
Selfish Princess - Fujiwo
I feel like anyone who knows of Muu and has listened to this song may be able to guess why it's here. But for anyone who hasn't...
I feel like this captures her dichotomy of how she wants to be catered to very well.
Wanna eat that sweet sweet chocolate, wanna drink that hot hot latte, wanna eat that soft soft bread. Wanna eat that sticky cheese, wanna sleep in that fluffy fluffy bed; dozy, dozy have a good night zzz / Wanna eat that bitter bitter liver, wanna drink that red red soup, wanna eat that soft soft flesh.
This song also showcases how lazy she can be when it comes to things she's asked to do. In conjunction with how she expects people to work around her, instead of the other way round.
One, two, three- start dancing to the beat with my mysterious steps / Murmuring, rolling, lazy lazy meow meow; don't wanna do anything! / Three, two, one- the fragrant that makes my heart beat wildly
It also highlights a aspect of hers that can get overlooked. That being that she tends to like people who aren't just seeming to suck up to her.
Guillotine, gunshot, burning or seppuku, any option you'd like. No one can beat me; oh how boring. / Sweet sweet is not enough, show me more of that twisted face. Lalala lalala lalala, see- it's not enough
You may ask "then why would she bully those who aren't giving into her whims?" and that's a fair question! Muu does like to be indulged, after all. She's just also someone who doesn't appreciate people feeding off her without any sort of recompense. This is shown in how she refers to Mikoto in the wireless headphones.
Mikoto-kun, he's a bit of a poser
Overall, it's a good starting song as it shows Muu at a baseline.
I'm waiting for someone to love this selfish me. My pillow is wet with tears at the lonely nights. I watch every second passing by-
but I'm... right?
Selfish, lalala~ Don't be afraid everyone. Please give, give me! Keep giving me everything. Everything can be forgiven because I'm the cutest.
Hello Dystopia - MafuMafu
Ah, Hello Dystopia, my beloved~ Also a very easy pick for Muu, given her role in her school's dynamic.
Now, exit, exit; disappear, if you'd please! / The influence of a desperate god, the screws in my head turn anti-clockwise. It's too late to let us down, isn't it? Don't you beg for your life- let's fall together to the depths of hell. / Here, there's only idiots crawling out of the woodwork who want to play. Let's go in order, starting with whose hands are free- raise them to the gallows
As we all know, Muu has a habit of acting against anyone who she thinks dislikes her/ has ulterior motives-
Rehabilitation, reincarnation, my specialty. A refuge for failures to gather in 140 characters / It's the cruel sin of tearing down a tower of building blocks. All right, we're saving the world; excellent, chanting in unison, almost logged out of life
-We also know that, in some sense, this is meant to be a kindness, as she refers to these actions as "gentle stings".
Let's chant babbled nonsense. Let's grant wishes, no matter what they may be. Good children surely get prizes for perfect attendance; a show made of the dismantlement of the slandered / This is fake news, see. Keep out; die a dog's death. Mostly sources from ambiguous tip offs
It also touches upon some implications about Muu. Namely, that she has a distorted sense of showing and receiving "love"
A utopia where love is uncertain; there's no way of knowing if any of it's true or not anyways. A utopia where love is uncertain. Hysteria where this is certain
And that she tends to view things like love and hate in a transactional nature.
Here's the question, question- what was brought into being after we hurt each other? Excellent answer; dystopia / A shooting gallery for shotguns; thank you, Merry Bad End / Ignorant irony, though there's no conflict. Like it's a piece of cake, throw an entire life into disorder
Furthermore, this song placed here means it can also be read as her initial relationship with Rei
Love me; for my ambiguous self, become mine. Give me validation, hereditary idiot. Have you written the fiction between you and me? The present state of wild delusions and exaggerations, a collar at hand
"hey"
Useless Angel - Nanawo Akari
Now we get to Useless Angel! Something that definitely highlights Muu's more lazy side
It's not that I won't do it, I just can't! / Aah, lately the word on the street is that there's a no-good angel who makes up for her uselessness with angelic power... Well, that's the plan! / I wanna get a good score on my upcoming test, but my brain can't keep up and my thoughts are clattering around. It's Saturday, and I wanna get up early but I can't stop playing online games in the middle of the night / Just lemme say there's nothing I can do about it! Even though I stuck my halo in my mouth / "But can you really fly if you work hard?" I'm making a face that looks like that
But it also shows more of her earnest desire for affection, and the lengths she's willing to go to receive it,
I want to convey to you more and more of my feeling being inadequate. But, when I'm noticed, I get nervous, a miscommunication. My blinking halo is cracking, but with this, I'll change your mind about my identity. I said it's a bluff, but the truth is that there's a foggy feeling of love. I want to search for it with you. / Hey, the no-good, no-good, no-good, no-good me- you'll love her! / I'll make your heart beat, beat, beat, beat just for you! If you'd just look at me seriously, I'd probably do it!
And her anxieties about not being deserving of said affection. Or receiving it for reasons that have nothing to do with her as a person.
But am I at least alright? / I hid my feeling of love in that kind of paper-mache shell, but I want to be laughing with you. Hey the no-good, no-good, no-good, no-good me... are you okay with her? To tell the truth, I don't have any self confidence. I'm an angel, you know. My head is spinning, spinning, spinning, spinning. It is filled with nothing but you- that's what I've been thinking about!
I think I'll be able to fly with this love I've received, since I'm an angel
It's not that I won't do it, I just can't!
Er, well, I'll put a lot of effort in anyway!
Chameleon - Surii
And Chameleon represents Muu in the midst of her efforts to earn love meaningfully. As I said before in this post, Muu doesn't want people to just fawn over her for no reason. And this time she's putting in her all to catch the attention she wants from Rei!
I get dizzy from falling in love burningly. I want to be loved, so I'm being an honour student. As I get irritated, my heart is scattered- but I'm a chameleon that can blend in this much / I want to resist to ask you for your affection. I want to show you the best attitude / A while crying and a while falling in love again. Today's makeup can't be messed with / A passionate chameleon becoming half dead again, but next time, for sure. A passionate chameleon. I'm a chameleon that just wants to be loved by you. Transform and diving into the average class. A complete change into the life of the lower class, piling up the dynamite on myself. Oh my, what a damp noise
But of course, Muu is someone who can't help but stay true to herself, even if it causes her trouble. As much as she tries to hide it, not everything can be covered up by hard work and determination.
The transformation is not perfect; my entire body is not something you desire. I take those dynamites little by little, apparently dangerous / Do you still wanna be loved? / A while buttering up and a while melting; I gotta check today's trend. Dazzling from singing flamingly, living a life with the passing grade. My resentful heart sways back and forth; I'm a chameleon that can be a part of it / My throat is parched, feeling the moment. But can't be forgiven because my outfit is way too flashy.
Even if it's painful, it's just something she ends up slipping back into. And so the loop of effort and pain continues.
Dunno... I cried so much that even my true original colour disappeared. When I tried to run away because it was too hard for me, you smiled at me.
Only want you to love me, is it not enough? Still not enough so try to blend in, chameleon
Ai Janai - DAZBEE
Yes, I know Gunsli has brought this specific song before. It's a great comparison and you should all give it a read when you have the chance! However, I do have my own reasoning. Especially it being placed where it is! Besides, I do do things a bit different from her, even if there are similarities.
But yes! We are slowly approaching the eye of the storm now. Everything is turning upside down and tensions are beginning to run high. Muu's starting to lose it, lost between her desire for love and her desire to earn it. And that's mixing with the burgeoning realization that maybe Rei wouldn't ever like her.
This isn't love, so depressed I feel sick. This isn't love; it isn't, right? Is that the most ridiculous thing you've ever heard? Denied, isn't it? / On an answer sheet with A, B, and Cs, I gladly marked each question wrong. Could we have a secret love? "let's solve the hard questions together", "I'll wait for you after school" ...as if you would say that. / Before I fall apart, I wanna confess about this love that won't go away / Something's wrong with me, I must be going crazy. I'm in a drunken stupor filled with regret /I'm half joking and about to cry / I won't get my hopes up
Further and further until we enter it and anything can be set off with something as simple as a push or shove.
My sixth sense is tingling, I realized I really need to see you / It's like I'm sucked into a vortex each time I remember, and I can't get away
I look up the psychology of your actions online for signs / "Let's share secret looks between us", "I'll be standing in the hallway" ...but you're not listening, are you?
You'd resent me for the deal I've made in my head
Is this respite before I'm faced with a dilemma?
(Bonus!) Notice - Moe Shop
It's the bonus round! Also known as the song I keep dithering about putting in the playlist or not. It just feels. Very fitting for this moment.
Signal broken, error, retry. No one told me how to do this. Faith, belief un-fucking-believable. Shaking, wavering proof of my love / Taking long to get a reply, regretting. Maybe I'm thinking about it too much. Shaking, wavering, vibrating
That sensitive age where you wanna start a coup, can't pick up anything dropped. Stand, bow, this is a warzone
Cut off 5cm of my school skirt, feeling a little blue and sentimental. Senpai please, notice me. I already know there's a sweetie, so bad that I seriously consider suicide. It really hurts. / Eyes glaring in the dark
A piano in the evening, Ivory skies above. I hear a voice calling someone to stop. Please almighty god, stop those footsteps before the magic of misunderstanding fades
"Please, senpai. Notice me"
Short lived rumours last 75 days. That couple who were dating, broken up already, love is a lie.
Messed Up! - Natsuyama Yotsugi
And now we arrive at the incident- including this, only five more songs to go...! Thankfully God's Parasol is very short. More like a preview than anything. But back on track! We finally reach a release and now Muu has to deal with the aftermath.
I messed up and I killed 'em!? I caused a big commotion in the early afternoon- a rouge coloured puddle. Ah, they went and died!! I've gone and done this and that, and now I'm getting worried. I wipe my sweat away as the cicadas cry. Crisis! Crisis! My thoughts go 'round and 'round. This story's taken a dark turn, oh... / There's nothing I can do. Escaping into a träumerei, please, close my eyelids already
"Co-ming. Who is it?" I open the door to a flood of justice "Could you tell us the truth about this incident" "Actually no, first, a word of apology please" Ah, I'm sorry, I'm s-s-sorry. I've been a bad girl, that's why please / I'm just getting my just desserts / My offenses are as stated. Oh judge, please send me to the gallows already / They messed up and killed 'em!? What a big fuss over nothing, a story turned märchen / and the whole crowd laughs like fools
Darling - Keina Suda
And now the aftermath starts to set in. After all, as we've seen in milgram (and Undercover) Muu is a girl filled with regret and wistfulness
Am I not good enough? I know I'm the only one / I can't win your heart. I know you better than anyone / Darling, I'll give you my everything- please, give me all your love
There is no point in being alone. Words couldn't be created. I know- I know, but I keep pretending. We can't be together; our hearts will stay apart / but my love for you is shameless / Panicked, you were having too much fun
Just forget it, I'll be waiting for all this to end / Darling, take me someday; I long for that day to come
God's Parasol - Shikiura
This is so short I feel like I could just put all the lyrics here lmao. So that's what I'm gonna do
With the parasol god gave me, I'll come to you, fluttering in the air. I don't need anything else, melting away with your sweet kisses. With the parasol god gave me, I'll come to you, fluttering in the air. Why won't you say anything other than goodbyes?
First Love Diary - Kashii Moimi
Now we're really getting into the conflicting feelings- the regret, the frustration and sorrow all melding into something manically tangled.
I could never come to hate you, and so this ingrained self-restraint has no function. I'm forever remembering the secrets shared just between us two. Do I have to keep my feelings under lock and key? Saying "I want to see you" is my signal that I've been hurt, but I'm reluctant to cry all by my lonesome after putting on a brave front. / It'll do me no good (Don't leave) to get this attached to you. (me alone...) / please don't abandon me / I want to stay gentle (I'm the best in the world)
Dizzily inhaling your gaze, I don't even know what I've been doing to survive until now (You're heartless, aren't you?) I hate it, darling. I beg you, grasp my hand and rebuild me as someone new. Just as you want me! (Aren't I remarkable?) Maybe everything about me is becoming immoral in an indifferent and imbecilic way. Yet your hands are forever lovely (this is our starting point) / Indeed your words are my drug. I'm falling upside down, so won't you catch me? (And take me away from these dark days?) / Even so, darling... (I want you)
I hate it darling, become my sustenance! You know, I can't feel a single thing. You're constantly not there (Is nothingness so awful?) I love you. Can you tell me there'll never be another?! / "My first love won't be fulfilled" Then what should be done about me, who was able to fulfill it?
Will it always be so painful? Yes, yes, I feel the same way. So let's hurry up and go together (to heaven)
Chronophobia - 2進P
And finally, the point Muu was at when she was whisked away to Milgram. This is the point where the mania has faded, only leaving hurtful memories that dig into her psyche.
Time is projected so clearly; it goes on everywhere. Beautiful lights deceive my eyes as usual. I sloppily tore the flickering image that's always next to me into pieces- you know, even if I close my eyes, it's still there. I dislike everything about time. I don't care at all for eternity. The bitter words and their meaning don't accomplish anything; they've left intense scars and won't stop.
Why exactly is that moon still waxing and waning? I can hear that deeply warped noise so close to me. I run a tightly gripped knife across my face, wanting that unpleasant sound to disappear. Don't touch me, don't come near me, sounds of time. Since I'm begging, just kill me already.
There's no smile in my eyes. There is only the unstopping memory someone has violated me with.
Why, why do I keep seeing it? Please, stop it. Shut my eyes. / Please, stop it. Let me sleep.
#An idiot Star takes to the stage!#milgram#Muu Kusunoki#in retrospect I don't know why I linked every song individually when I added the playlist link#oh well#maybe someone won't like some of the songs in here#or want them separately

Akuneko Aruji-sama but isekai
Short summary of Akuneko
So Akuneko is basically where a person (you) who randomly wears a ring a black cat dropped (totally not sus I know) and randomly gets isekai-ed to another world. For some reason, you become a master of 13 mentally broken butlers (+3 new butlers from Episode 2.5 and a cat called Muu) who ask you for help to defeat angels who can possibly end you.
About Aruji-sama
And at the start of this story, the main character (which is you by the way, let’s just call you Aruji-sama to avoid confusion) is taken off guard as they lose their consciousness and wakes up in a different room, in a different universe, with a fucking stranger in front of them (sorry Berrien) offering them tea.
Long story short, Aruji-sama is taken to the butlers universe, confused, scared, and possibly at the verge of breaking down. Immediately after their arrival they’re asked to help the butlers to go Angel hunting, when they have not even a clue of what’s going on (insert Aruji-sama having an existential crisis). Poor Aruji-sama is confused as fuck as they’re passed a random ritual looking ass book and is told to trace/ read out a spell to activate Lono’s powers
But what if…
If this happened to me before I knew the main story of Akuneko, I’d freak the heck out. But if this happened now, where I’m pretty much familiar to half of the story, sure I’d be stunned but I’ll be able to comprehend things much quicker than in-game Aruji-sama, and perhaps cooperate much better in Angel hunting than on screen. You think that too right?
But think about it. What if you were in that moment. In that scene, where you see the action between the butlers and angels with your own eyes. Honestly, that sounds cool and terrifying at the same time.
What if you found the mysterious black cat, wore the suspicious ring and got taken to the Akuneko universe?
What if you established a friendship between the butlers unlike how you did on screen? Instead of tapping on the characters to sometimes get the same dialogue you heard before, you had an actual conversation with them.
Wouldn’t be cool to listen to their voice everyday without ever caring you can’t understand what they’re saying? Since in-game, the butlers and the world’s inhabitants understand what Aruji-sama says, and speaks the same language as them. It wouldn’t be weird if they started to speak your native language right? (I mean it would be weird but understanding what they say without using the translated script someone made is a dream to someone you guys right?)
So, tell me…
How would you be if all of this happened to you?
Would you accept it and help the butlers and at least have a bit of a head start by knowing whats going to happen in the future?
Or will you try to force yourself to wake up from this mad dream? (though any kind of effort will be useless in this situation)
(so… should I try make a fic about this?)
(if you used this for an inspiration for a fic, please tag me!)

…You know, I think you’re really good at writing characters that are hard to truly hate. For example, Kei’s SUCH an asshole and I hate his guts, but also I’m wincing in sympathy and Eiji hasn’t even beaten the stuffing out of him yet. He’s fucked up, he was hurt and proceeded to hurt so many other people, and frankly I don’t think there’s any good way to deal with him.
The one I REALLY can’t stop thinking about is Riku: I’ve flipped my opinion on him twice now, and I’m still super undecided on him. On one hand, he’s charming and I really like him, and his apparent situation with his victim makes me feel bad for him. On the other hand… he killed somebody, and he doesn’t even feel bad. That’s probably not good! Back to the first hand, his potential guilty punishment made me feel SO BAD for voting him guilty, but voting him innocent might have made him pull a Mu, and I don’t know which result is worse. (Doesn’t help that I have no idea if character death is a risk here. I don’t want anybody to die!)
I’m also VERY concerned for Eiji: he seems to be headed towards a He Who Fights Monsters situation, and I like him a lot and don’t want to see him turn into his brother (or his parents, who I’m pretty sure were a lot like Kei). I want him to be better but I know he won’t be, because he just completely refuses to chill out, at least for now. (I think Kei might have been spot-on about Eiji mimicking him, if maybe unconsciously.)
Anyways, you have my heart in your hands and you’re squeezing it like a stress ball. I can’t wait to see how bad this gets. Have a nice day!
thank you so much omg this made me so happy 😭😭💖
i'm very glad to hear that you think i'm good at writing characters who are hard to hate! it means i'm doing my job well, hehe. i was very worried that a lot of my ocs will be too scary or even "evil" for milgram, since it's more about "morally gray" characters, but now that i understand and know my ocs better, i'm starting to feel sorry for them as well.
kei is a very interesting character for me to write, because it's clear that he had a dark past, no, actually, he was still committing crimes before he even came to milgram, but there's still like zero information about his murder (even compared to the more "mysterious" characters, like reina). sure, he will tell you everything about how he used to take photos of his "boss"'s poor victims and how much he enjoyed it, but nope, he won't tell you anything about his victim(s)! and also, i try my best not to make him too sympathetic, siince i want him to stay as someone who was (and still is) a horrible person who i still can't help but feel sorry for (and for good reasons). i still feel like there's a high chance of him being voted innocent in season 2.
riku is one of the most fun characters for me to write, that's for sure! he's very friendly and nice, and unlike kei, he actually gives off very warm vibes and he doesn't appear that suspicious at first. tbh i think riku is one of the characters who wouldn't get better no matter what verdict he gets, but also.. i don't think he will start acting as bad as muu after being voted innocent? that's for one of the other prisoners to do however, voting him innocent means basically saying that what he did was right and.. his crime wasn't pretty and the way he thinks about it is very bad, so yeah..
oh, eiji is going to change a lot as a character in season 2! you see, when you have two guards with very different opinions about the prisoners and one of them manages to "win" (seven innocent prisoners vs three guilty prisoners).. it actually does change the relationship between them and they start acting different as well. so who knows, maybe eiji will start thinking that he was wrong, but not in a "hey, maybe my punishments shouldn't be so brutal" way and more in a "oh, so you're saying i'm not allowed to be angry? i'm not allowed to want revenge?" way. you'll see what i mean in the "the end of the first trial" post. and yes, fun fact: sanada brothers actually act a lot like each other! it's not just about eiji acting like kei (even if it's not on purpose), but also about kei acting like eiji (his younger self, to be more exact), so.. do with that information what you will :)
(and about character death: eiji does think that everyone here deserves to die, but he won't actually kill anyone until the third trial. he hates murderers, sure, but he will follow the rules and he will try his best to be patient. it doesn't mean that they can't have a near-death experience or be extremely close to dying though.)
#again thank you sm for sending this!#❔answering asks ❔#🍓prisoner 005: sanada kei 🍓#🎸prisoner 009: kuroki riku 🎸#🗡️guard 001: sanada eiji 🗡️

3 + 11 + 13 + 16 ?
You didn't specify a fandom, so I'll just pick ones I feel passionate about LOL
3. screenshot or description of the worst take you've seen on tumblr
FUCKK it has to be after Muu's MV came out, I saw someone say she faked her T1 MV... which is literally impossible... The Milgram fandom lost all of its reading comprehension the second the series became more character studies than murder mystery and you can see it in the T2 results... her whole MV is her lying to herself about how she felt about her murder and her ex-friends/bullies... she doesn't want to see herself as a victim, so since her MV isn't presenting her as one since it reflects her mental state, suddenly she is lying about something that she literally has no control over.
11. number of fandom-related words you've filtered
Honestly... not too many? I pretty much only filter for spoiler reasons, I'd rather know whos reblogging/posting things that make me uncomfortable so I can block them rather than filtering it out of my dash. I think I have like 4 spoiler filters up currently
13. worst blorboficiation
I already answered this for WH, so I'll answer this for ZENO now! The way people characterize Kuro in a lot of the fandom really rubs me the wrong way.. They tend to reduce him down to solely his need for love, and not only that people tend to put that focus on specifically his need for love from Aki. While I understand it's a significant part of his character, it's also something he grows past in his development, and I see a lot of focus on it only after his Zeno activates but before Aki regains his own memories so it's just not to my taste to be completely honest. I'd love to see deeper analyses into the nuances of his character outside of his search for affection, but honestly I'm not sure if we'd get it from this fandom LOL. I would write analyses myself, but I'm more of the passively absorb every aspect to this character type than "ah yes he acts like this because of this aspect of his past here is the evidence" character essay type...
16. you can't understand why so many people like this thing (characterization, trope, headcanon, etc)
OH MY GOD I FINALLY HAVE AN EXCUSE TO TALK ABOUT THIS WHY DOES EVERYONE LIKE QKAI. Like it's cute, don't get me wrong, but I dont understand the basis for it outside of Q-taro being one of the people to bring Kai up again later. They don't have like any super significant interactions together, and it ends up feeling a lot like a case of them being the leftovers of pairing everyone else off with one another...
Questions! (Still taking these its nice to chat abt fandom opinions :) )
#gav rambles#gav answers#zeno spoilers#sorry for the fandom rants i am very passionate about the things i like#again no hate to anyone who likes the things mentioned here! im just particular abt things :)

THE SEQUENCE OF ALL THE CHARACTERS SHARING INFORMATION IS SO FUN!!!!!!! esp the spotlight on hinako I love her a lot I’m glad she’s getting attention 🫶🫶 i feel like hinako didn’t want kids but would still fight to death to keep them safe ESP SINCE SHE’S A COP/INVESTIGATOR TOO i hope we learn more about her in t3…..
OUGH Hinako deserves so much attention!! I makes me crazy that we simultaneously know nothing important about her, and also she's the minor character/victim we know the most about: she has a full appearance, several outfits, we see her doing domestic tasks, we know her career and see her working, and we know her full name. (I also find it really juicy to have these two cop/investigator character in a murder "mystery" series that are completely detached from their usual role; it was fun to give that back to them in the au.) It's so interesting because originally I thought she was the one to want kids and Kazui held her back, but with recent info it definitely seems like he wanted a family more than her... And you're right -- that doesn't stop her from kicking anyone's ass who stands between her and protecting these kids 😤😤😤
And ah thanks!!! It was so fun trying to map out potential investigation methods >:3 The group is very limited because they're basically in prison (even if they're going free at the end). But at the same time, there's ten sets of skills and connections and knowledge which definitely helps. Plus, ten bodies in general is helpful -- you can have a lot of distractions and actions going on at once with so many people... I was so focused on thinking who could go in and out of the facility, but I wanted to add that Muu's parents help a lot too! They can't do much information-wise, but with their money they can pull some strings on the outside.
#milgram#hinako mukuhara#lights camera sing your sins#thank you so much for the ask!!#milgram better give us more info on the victims t3!!!! im going crazy 😭#i love that we have the fullest picture of hinako#funny how out of all the characters the liar is the one to tell us the most about his victim...#and at the same time its impossible to guess on her personality and everything#i want to knowwwwww#i wonder if protect-the-weak law-school-student kotoko would hate or love hinako#i think shed make a nice role model for her ;-;#that answer about amane joining kazuis family completely surprised me but i really love it#and aw yeah its so fun thinking of a jailbreak in the au!! theyd be a terrifying team and i love that for them >:D#ive never planned out any kind of crime/jailbreak/convoluted plan before so if anyone has any ideas feel free to pitch in 😅#ask

Your dear Knight's favorite Milgram character is Shidou (very close second and third are Yuno and Muu), although his favorite songs are Half, Double and Umbilical. Throw Down was one of my favorites for a very very long time, but alas, I fell victim to the power of looping one song constantly until it takes over your brain.
alnst you caught me, your knight is in fact very fond of Ivan and Till, although I quite like Luka too surprisingly. He may not be a fan favorite but he's pretty, and that is reason enough for me to like someone. Song-wise Cure has infected your poor knight's brain as of late, but also My Clematis is special to me.
And whatever gave my dear lady the idea that I'm teasing? (silly) I dare say the mystery makes it more appealing. Like the first ask I sent, it's perhaps like a Masquerade ball in my mind; the mask being the anonymous button.
Aau so real !! I personally adore Kazui, Haruka and Muu however for reasons (looks at my fragment tag) Shidou is veeeery liked by me, it just feels a little odd (again, see fragments tag) to consider him a favorite of mine because it feels a bit self-centered, no ? /hj
And agh, I adore Ivan so much,, Truly sad I cannawt get his standee because of the shipping... T_T But ah well I suppose,, I do have enough things in my room as is ^^' As for Till and Luka, they definitely are also some of my favorites (stares at fragments tag. well at least this feels less odd because of how limited the cast is...? and also because of how many fragments I have from it. gah @_@)
And, of course, you're right. The mystery of this is part of what makes it so appealing, I suppose I just can't help but want to know ♪ After all, if I have a mewtual who can spin such sweet words, or even just a follower or whoever my mysterious knight may be underneath their mask, it'd be one of the biggest lies I've told to say that I wasn't incredibly curious about who it may be ^_^ ♡ But of course, taking our time with this isn't something I'm opposed to, fufufu, after all I'm definitely having fun despite how my heart aches to know the identity of my sweet knight. As long as you'll tell me in time, I'm willing to wait, my knight :3 (well,, I do have my limits, however it's never gotten to the point that they've been reached before, so I don't see any reason to be concerned)
#➳ the fool's mail box#➳ sender; ivette#feels a little awkward to bring up my fragments whenever others mention characters they like.. but alas — this is my inbox and#they're my fragments so.. why nyat ? fufufu#ah — i just thought of something. I'm curious to know how long you've liked me..#although I'm nyat quite sure whether I should expect an answer or nyat >_#* >_<''#(lighthearted and playful of course ♪)

I think it's so funny when people work out really exciting and cool Milgram theories because they're honetly writing at a way cooler level than the real thing will ever be 😂 This isn't anything rude and I hope people keep doing it, the only reason I bring it up is because that's my favorite part of the project! There aren't going to be any cunning planners or kidnappers or serial killers. There aren't going to be any blood-chilling villain reveals. Yes, that's the incredible writing you're looking for in a murder mystery! Those are the type of twists that would floor an audience! But Milgram isn't going for that and I'm obsessed with the concept. The real surprises are showing how utterly normal the characters are. How relatable. How they could be someone you meet on the street. How they could be you. There are no monsters in the room full of murderers, and that's the most shocking thing of them all!
The point of all the trial 2 reveals have been to make the characters more human, whether that's show the reasonable flaws of those voted innocent or the complexity of those guilty. Haruka's big "twist" was that he may have seemed meek, but he's a normal boy with big emotions and is capable of violence. Yuno's was that her life isn't the picture-perfect situation that makes for a sympathetic story; she's real and makes her own decisions. Fuuta and Muu's were that they're multifaceted and that other people played a role in their situation. Shidou's was that he wasn't this exaggerated character killing people while madly in love -- he's a human grieving his long-established family and doing subtle sins to save lives. Mahiru's was that she made natural mistakes in a relationship, which were coupled with harmful (but human) coping mechanisms.
I just adore that the biggest surprises have been making the characters more realistic instead of larger-than-life, wildly intense Characters -- because when we experience something that we can recognize in our own lives and people we know, it feels just as intense as if they were! Idk that's just so cool to me!
#milgram#aahh i really hope no one takes this the wrong way -- its just genuinely something i really love!#because i really enjoy reading exciting theories and getting into cool details#i just hope that as well as the epic ideas people can enjoy the very normal nature of the characters too :')#theres a level of introspection/reflection thats lost when treating characters like theyll have a big villain reveal#and thats my favorite part haha!#rose posts
