heyy happy new year!! your thirteen post was very interesting and i can't help but give my own two cents on what i think the char is based on ur description :3 (i hope u don't mind lol)
it's clear he's a bit of a rascal and probably really playful so i'm guessing he's the type to get zoomies at ungodly hours of the night? i feel like they're cat-like in general though
and i also get weird shapeshifty vibes from him? even though that's amalgamous' thing but i just get a mixed amount of vibes from him (in a "i am a canvas painted by the people i met" kinda way)
also i think they'd be genderfluid? no reason, i just think they would be!!
and that's all for now i think ( ̄▽ ̄*)ゞ
I don't mind hearing your ideas at all! In fact, I really like most of them.
I am trying to make the 13 primes a much more diverse group of individuals then presented in most transformers media, so I enjoy the idea of genderfluid Thirteen!
About them giving off cat vibes...I guess?
As I said, I imagine Thirteen being a lot more mature than most people portray them to be. Doesn't mean they can't be a little rascal and get zoomies from time to time! (Especially when I'm an adult teen who still gets zoomies XD), but probably on rare occasions when exposed to energetic music or mental stimulants like cybertronian equivalents of coffee or sugar.
About them looking like a shapeshifter, I think I know why you imagined that. You're probably thinking about Mercury and the mutacons from the Covenant of Primus, because they have that liquid silver look to them. Thirteen does kind of look like a mutacon! I am also working on concept art for Mercury right now:
Thank you for asking and have a happy new year as well :3

The Thirteen's Fates
Overlooking the entries about The Thirteen Primes in the aligned continuity...
(1)Solus Prime and (2)Liege Maximo were both killed in the War of the Primes
(3)Alpha Trion was presumably killed in the Fall of Iacon (after using Smokescreen as a container which is a whole other discussion)
It's stated that (4)Vector Prime just teleported himself to the Realm of the Primes "while nobody was looking." Dude just "peaced-out" to the Afterlife.
(5)Onyx Prime was gravely injured in the War of the Primes and fled to the bottom of the Well of Allsparks to ward off death, and (6)Micronus Prime went with him to keep him company, presumably both passed when the planet died.
6 out of 13 confirmed dead.
Then we have the more ambiguous fates, which I refer to as "Inactive"
(7) Nexus Prime split into his five components (being the first combiner) and they went different ways to hide different weapons and tools after the war (So still alive, but not in one piece, and it even says that some of his components have forgotten who they are)
(8)Megatronus Prime went into self-imposed exile after the War of the Primes to parts unknown (came back in RID2015 but unknown if he was killed in the end- it was only stated that he was no longer on Earth)
(9)Prima remained on Cybertron to guide the future cybertronians and was around until at least when the original Predacons were roaming the planet (his fate lost to history)
(10) Alchemist Prime also remained on Cybertron, but is thought to have become a lowly bartender to avoid suspicion (may have survived the war and is still hiding out somewhere)
Which leaves us with 2 more that are presumed alive-
(11)Quintus Prime left the planet to seed and study other races in space (forming the Quintessons and is presumed to still be out there doing his thing)
(12)Amalgamous Prime also left the planet for parts unknown (but the "Mutacons" ran into his T-Cog and are trying to find him in hopes of him reversing its effects on them)
-and of course, (13)The Thirteenth Prime, AKA Optimus Prime, who has been dead, inactive, and alive all at once across the continuity.

Silly fic idea concept art; Old -> New
the headspace designs for the Blitzwings still need updating, but these early draft designs are pretty close to how I want them to look, I think.
Random looks very Zaygon because Zaygon literally mitosis’d off that fuckers take 1 design, wherein I went with a sort of semi-beastformer built like if a hyena was crossed with a smilodon. The final design I think will be more some kind of mutacon that changes shape REALLY freely.
Icy looks kinda Starscream-y to suit their jet alt-mode, and Hothead looks more like g1 Blitzwing, since I feel Hothead shares the most personality and looks with the g1 version
Here's more on the Random fursona, if you'd like to see that!
Concept art for my silly fic idea, 'Backseat Gamers from Beyond the Stars', wherein the Blitzwings accidentally get addicted to Earth video games
Tone of the story would be goofy and episodic, most likely without an especially intense scope- but who knows, it might escalate.
Note that the proboscis is not actually a Blitzwing exclusive feature, here! I kind of headcannon that it'd make sense for Cybertronians to have tube mouthparts since their fuel is usually liquid; thus that would be a minor detail of the world building for this fic too

With Mirage from the movie and being able to transform into different things including armor, maybe he's a descendant of Amalgamous Prime like the Shifters and Mutacons from Aligned? or perhaps its just an advanced skill he focused on? the armor form seems to be an emergency thing, where he actively sacrifices some mass, requiring new metal and stuff to be used in order to get his body back? i think some settings have cybertronians be able to assimilate non-cybertronian metal as well and use it to heal?
Depends on if they want to include someone like Amalgamous in their new universe's lore

screw it have the cosmere/transformers thoughts that plague me
spoilers ahoy
i'm willing to bet that whatever Adonalsium was, Primus and Unicron may be vaguely similar entities depending on interpretation. obviously the cosmere belongs exclusively to the Shards, but if it's a dwarf galaxy, then perhaps, just perhaps, Cybertron's galaxy could be its neighbor
(please picture Adonalsium and Primus studiously ignoring each other across lightyears of empty space bc they have their own problems thank you very much that other god over there is minding their own business)
Unicron may not have been strong enough to eat Adonalsium straight up, given that we know he can be defeated by Primus/various forces vaguely allied with Primus. but the scattered, weakened Shards warring with one another... hmmm the cosmere might look like a nice snack now
IF we go with the understanding that they are similar but alien entities to one another, then would there not be an entire system of "investiture" equivalence for Cybertron? you've got outliers and point-one percenters, you've got the Primal artifacts of great magic power, you've got everything about the Allspark, the Spiritual Realm Well of Sparks, the various properties of energon and sentio metallico and transwarp energy, etc. i'm willing to bet that there's an entire Cybertronian paradigm to realmatic theory that could be explored by perhaps a very very lost member of the Seventeenth Shard that has a similar setup but different power source to the cosmere
and if that's the case, could Transformers even intersect at all with the cosmere's magic systems, when they run on their own system? could they absorb or be affected by investiture if they're full of energon and powered by a spark? would they be immune to any invested influence, but likewise be unable to use their own outlier abilities on an invested object, or a Shard-influenced or Adonalsium-created thing?
i'm not going to touch on Era 3 or 4, there's already so much to explore with "low tech" cosmere lore that i feel like bringing in computers and spaceships would just blow my mind and provide so many cool alt modes for Cybertronians to scan.... (that said i really need to read TotES)
spren manifest as metal in the Physical Realm. is a Transformer spark simply a powerful spren manifesting/forging a metal body in the Physical Realm?
is a Transformer's frame simply really fancy Shardplate?? (and didn't Brandon say that it would be extremely hard but possible for Radiants in Shardplate to combine?? helloooo gestalts)
could a Cybertronian bond a spren? would it function like a Headmaster/Targetmaster binary bond or like a proper Nahel bond??
would the Magnus Hammer be able to influence the Stormfather?
also coppermind Matrix. it's orange and everything
yknow that TFP episode where Optimus was dying (as usual) and then the hammer remade him bigger better faster stronger? something something he's a Returned (even moreso if you consider he's canonically one of the reincarnated original Thirteen)
actually i think i could argue that anyone upgraded to a Prime by the Matrix is a form of Returned
would LOVE to see a shade from Hell react to a Transformer. likewise would love to see anyone in the cosmere deal with an undead mech, be it ghost, Terrorcon, or Allspark-fueled
i think kandra wouldn't be any more gross to the average Cybertronian than any other organic, they're all made of meat and bones and recycled organic matter anyway. they'd probably think of kandra as organic Mutacons?
they'd probably find the color draining effects of Breath very morbid. after all, their own corpses go grey. it seems fitting
would cold constructed mecha be reforged into their spark-determined true form given enough investiture?
could a Shardblade cut through Cybertronian armor? assuming a mech is forged from cybermatter/sentio metallico, the metal flesh of a living planetary god, i'd like to think that may register... a little bit special, in realmatic theory
even if their armor was just normal metal, how much aluminum is in their makeup?
and if a Shardblade can slice through, would it deaden the limb or just cut it in half?
relatedly, could an Allomancer burn shavings from a mech's armor? if they're made of cybermatter instead of regular metal, what kind of effects would that have?
could an Allomancer steelpush off a mech?? would this mess with their internals? how precise could an Allomancer get with what particular body part/how deep into the frame they're targeting? a human weighs nothing next to a mech, but could they take one down by steelpushing the circuitry of the processor?
could energon store stormlight? or does it already have its own "investiture" equivalent as crystal blood of gods
photonic crystals can store sparks, so could they capture a spren?
Lockdown would collect Hemalurgic spikes
Sebarial and Swindle would be instant besties
Nightblood and Starscream. picture it
KELSIER and Starscream. oh god
would Kelsier punch Rung
for that matter would non-Cybertronians or people not native to the Unicron/Primus section of the universe operating on that power paradigm be able to perceive and remember Rung?
the Ghostbloods would try to take advantage of sudden giant alien metal warriors showing up out of nowhere. i'd like to think it would be a comedy of errors in miscommunication and accidentally thwarted plans until Kelsier throws up his hands and decides to call it quits on these guys
Soundwave would visit Roshar and have the same "it's the most beautiful music in the wooooooorld *sob*" breakdown as that one G1 episode upon hearing the rhythms and tones, i think he'd absolutely be able to hear them naturally
HEARTS OF STEEL STYLE TRANSFORMERS BUT COSMERE THEMED INSTEAD OF EARTH STEAMPUNK
Bondsmith Optimus. because yes
Lightweaver Jazz. spymaster? sound and light show? it's perfect
flying contest: Windrunners, Skybreakers, and Heavenly Ones vs Seekers. who wins? (personally i think nobody would "win" bc the two groups are functionally doing Very Different Things)
for a more applicable contest of power, anyone with the Surge of Gravitation vs Victorion
Ultra Magnus/Minimus Ambus would be right at home in Azir, please let him have fun with other rule-happy bureaucrats
and if you read this far, the real final reason i've thought so much about this...
i literally just want to see Hoid have to deal with any Cybertronian. i seriously cannot pick a favorite individual or scenario. Hoid ending up on the Lost Light? Hoid plopped on Cybertron and anointing himself Prime's Wit of the functionist regime bc by god they need someone to knock them down a peg? Hoid discovering a frozen Skyfire or Megatron on some cosmere planet? Hoid collecting minicons? Hoid adding another esoteric power to his list and getting possessed by the Cube ala RotF?
#blease#these thoughts have been haunting me#transformers crossover#cosmere#hoid#stormlight archive#mistborn#transformers#macaddam#long post

🔪 for Krok?
🔪Their biggest fear - link
When it comes to Krok, I can’t quite narrow it down to one specific fear.
I’d say he’s got several, particularly due to current circumstances. He’s utterly terrified of failing his crew, or being captured himself. One of his more abstract fears is not that the war could be lost, but that it could never end, and simply stretch on forever.
One of his biggest fears is his own frame, particularly loss of control regarding his form. There are some rumors of mutacons degenerating into what is essentially a sentient hive-mind of goop, and while the rational side of him knows that’s likely wrong, he can’t help but worry.
That, and control is still hard to keep over certain aspects of his body, notably his face, so the fear that his control could slip further is a present one.

Didn’t he do something like this in IDW or something? Something about mutacons or did I just make that up?
Something that happens later on in this AU but had to add.
Orion Pax learns about dying languages and cultures, and makes it his mission to not let them die. He travels the globe and immerses himself, learning the old fashion way, commit it all to his memory.
In an interview (once its discovered what he's doing) he's asked a single question.
"Why?"
And he just smiles softly, joyfully, for all that his optics are sad. "I am an archivist. It is my job and is enjoy it. And... You are such a short lived species. None of you deserve to be forgotten. You will always be in my memories, for as long as I shall live so too, shall you."

Hello Vector prime,
I was wondering, what happened to Rodimus and Kup in the aligned universe after the ark?
Dear Kup Kommandant,
Some time after their adventure on Aquatron and their encounter with the Mutacons, the Nemesis finally caught up to the Ark. A fierce battle took place as the Decepticons attempted to board the starship for the second time; this time, however, the Autobot starship was running low on fuel and barely able to keep its own crew operational. The Autobots fought as fiercely as they could to keep their ship out of Decepticon hands… but Megatron was able to capture and destroy the vessel.
Optimus Prime and his innermost command circle—Bulkhead, Ratchet, Bumblebee—made it to the Ark’s long-range shuttle and escaped the exploding ship with only seconds to spare. Other Autobots weren’t so fortunate—some made it to the ship’s bay of escape pods, others were forced to flee on the backs of those lucky Autobots with flight-capable alternate modes. Still others deliberately sacrificed themselves so that Optimus Prime could get to safety—Scattorshot, Hubcap, Slingshot, and Evac all bravely laid down their lives for the cause, and their actions would weigh upon Optimus Prime’s spark quite heavily. Optimus made contact with the President of the United States and fought the Decepticons that had pursued them there aboard the Nemesis; although he had hoped to assemble a subspace radio beacon that could summon survivors to their fallback point, the paucity of Cybertronian technology they faced meant that Ratchet could only assemble a basic GroundBridge using parts from their shuttle’s transwarp cell—ensuring that they could never leave Earth.
Kup and Rodimus made it off the Ark via an escape pod, and drifted aimlessly in interstellar space for some time before finally crashing on the distant world of Rigel—the Ancients visited this world during the Golden Age of Cybertron, and the planet was littered with old starships buried in its sand dunes and vanished seabeds. They were pursued by a splinter force of Decepticons wielding experimental Enemy-class bodies, but proved able to outfox their pursuers—soon enough, they were able to cobble together a crude sublight vessel and struck out for Cybertron. They arrived only a few days after “Team Prime” had revitalised the planet; Rodimus was quite annoyed that Prime had never tried to send out a search party to gather the survivors of the Ark disaster, and eventually struck out again on his own.
Kup, on the other hand, settled into a new role as a mentor to young Cybertronians; though his war stories are long, over-embellished, and not always correct, they are nevertheless a favorite of the younger Sparks, who eagerly gather to hear him tell one of his anecdotes. He took a particular liking to one youngster named Sideswipe, who reminded him of another turbo-revvin' young punk he had adventured with.

Still have no idea what to name this one, but I got some context. Following the concept of Mutacons from Alligned/TFP, this is one of many forms sampled, later chosen, by an individual Mutacon that strayed from an entire colony travelling amongst the stars. They live on Cybertron, carefully staying hidden. They generally don’t talk, are super friendly, and have an unhealthy obsession with fighting for money, leading to increased athleticism. Sometimes it is difficult to resist sampling other forms, meaning this form probably won’t be theirs for long.

I want megs baby to be a menace. As an adult, they frequently go off the grid with varying dubious reasoning ("met up with mutacon pirates" or "dinner with skywarp, yknow, gets wild"). Nobody from the lost light has actually met them, so they make it a fun game to visit megs without alerting security
Everybody knows that Megatron has a child but nobody knows their name or what they even look like. Thanks to this they can easily navigate the Lost Light without drawing attention. The only one who knows who they actually are is Megatron himself and he won’t tell anyone their true identity. They’ve come to see this as a sort of game. Pretend not to be related and act like strangers. Megatron’s sparkling will pretend to dislike Megatron but then give him a subtle smile when no one is looking.

So about Zombie apocalypse JxP: Prowl would have doubts he is loved, because Jazz is only together with him, since Prowl is literally the last mech on the planet? Thinking Jazz will leave him as soon as help arrives? And likely Prowl will not only carry one creation but it will be a super complicated triplet birth (like in the AU-August stories)?
That’s actually why I learn towards them coming together after they’ve been marooned. Just so Prowl has to ask himself this questions. Just to haunt him a little. When Jazz his with him, his mind tends to be in the moment, wrapped up with Jazz. But Jazz goes off to scavenge or hunt, and Prowl is alone, listening to empty radio challenges for joors at a time, well he has too much time to think and to worry.
Jazz isn’t the only one afraid. Prowl’s never created. He is afraid of emergence and all of these unknowns. He is afraid of raising a creation in this living hell.
Ultimately I would probably be kinder to Prowl here, giving emergence when marooned without hope of assistance or rescue is harrying enough. Though I’m enough of an ass to give him the Twins.
I have an image in my mind of a craft landing in the quiet and desolate hellscape. Bots descend the ramp. Not sure who, but Bots we know. Jazz’s team? Ratchet? Optimus and a core crew? Anyway, Bots we know. They look around the quiet desolation and they wonder if that ping they heard was just an echo. Maybe the Bot who insisted on coming back...Smokey? Gets scolded for chasing shadows but then out of the low fog, they see silhouettes. The Bots raise their guns because, Insecticons, Terrorcons, Mutacons, etc... They hear a giggle.
The silouhettes’ become more clear. Small sparklings hold the servos of grown mechs. The silhouettes become still more clear as they Bots hear another sparkling giggle. One figure has clearly defined audial horns, one has doorwings. Someone takes a sharp intake. The figures step out of the fog. Prowl is carrying a small bundle, a tiny newling only freshly emerged as he holds the servo of a sparkling who’d be a few vorns old as Jazz holds the servo of one that appears to be the same age. As the Bots stare speechless, Jazz cocks him helm at them.
“Well, it took ya long enough.”

Tfsfemslashweek Day 4 - Past
Arcee isn’t sure what to make of the mutacon stowaway (Mercury.)
More of a pre-relationship situation. Mostly spawned from Mercury being a really fun character. A silly shapeshifter in the shapeshifting race. Also it’s nice to give Arcee a (currently small) big cheerful weird gf.
#tfsfemslashweek#tf mercury#arcee#tf#tfp is not my forte but I’m pretty proud of what I’ve done#tfp#and mass displacement is p wonky in prime so tiny blender and taller than arcee works imo#btw did you look at the clouds#au#my art

what's the most almodes a bot has had at one time, i know the rescue bots had a ton but only used like two regularly.
Assuming that you’re not counting Cybertronians like Amalgamous Prime, his Shifters, the Infinites, or the Mutacons, who are all able to turn into anything, that honor probably goes to Robots in Disguise Galvatron, who sports a whopping ten alternate modes; robot, jet, bat, two different dragons, giant hand, dragster, griffin, hydroplane, and elephant! (whew)
After that, it’s a multi-way tie between the various Six Changers, most famously Sixshot but also his redecoes, Quickswitch and Sixknight, who all turn from a robot into a tank, spaceship, laser gun, offroad vehicle, and some variety of four-legged creature:

'Always really mad that TFA Blitzwing's design has undertones of things I will not name, because A. those undertones whooshed right over my head I when I first saw him, and B. I really like Blitzwing! Fucker made me laugh within 10 seconds of being on screen for the time ;u;
And I just. I don't see that aspect talked about much (probably because it is quite miserable- I don't even really wanna actively talk about it), but it still Really Bothers Me, in the back of mind.
Maybe that's just the OCD talking, who knows. But it remains a character design detail that constantly nags at me, and I swear if I were ever given control of a new iteration of Blitzwing I would make sure to lean more into G1 or other influences than. that.
And like I KNOW why they did that. He's a villain, and has a name with a German word in it, and was given a German accent to suit that... but idk man. In shows like TFA, you're generally supposed to able to like even the villains out-of-universe, because often they're funny, or cool, or their antics are otherwise entertaining. And having the knowledge that that design choice was made- nagging in the back of my head while I try to laugh at the funny robot- drives me a little mad.
Not sure what else to say but I DO quite rather wish they'd gone with, idk, a design that subtly brings to mind modern Germany or something instead. Or maybe something even older- Germany is famous for its castles; a midieval knight aesthetic could have been really cool!
Actually hold the fucking phone I'm gonna do that. I'm putting knight vibes on one of the Blitzwing's headspace designs. Maybe I'll put it on Icy, to make him look less Starscreamy! (Hothead already has dibs on G1 aesthetic, and Random is going to be some sort of wildly shapeshifting mutacon that tends not to look the same every time you glance at him)
Hell, some of it is even already pretty Blitzwing-helm looking!

Once upon a time, in a kingdom of the stars called Vos, there was a princess named Nightsong. She was a fair and kind one, daughter of King Tigerhawk, who ruled over the fliers. She loved the royal life, but sometimes yearned for something more-some kind of freedom.
Standing in the outskirts of Vos was a Seeker known as Starscream. He stared at the large structures forming the central part of the city. His wings curled, his whole frame rushing with ideas from every mutacon constructing his body. Someday, this kingdom will be his to rule; the lust for conquering something such as this will satisfy him. Perhaps he’d find his ways within the more richest parts of Vos. Perhaps in a masquerade. The mech transformed and flew towards the spires.
