Y'all seem to like that Orion Pax Loose On Earth AU idea.

Here's more of it:

He becomes an internet sensation. He's super polite and very honest, rescues little kids from the street and asks for directions when he's lost.

In a hilarious series of events, both the Autobots and Decepticons keep just missing Orion when he shows up in the news or is tagged in a selfie online.

People very quickly figure out he's a Lost Alien and when the Men In Black show up Orion has multiple nations willing to give Asylum.

Orion Pax Has Breached Containment and the internet loves him.

Something that happens later on in this AU but had to add.

Orion Pax learns about dying languages and cultures, and makes it his mission to not let them die. He travels the globe and immerses himself, learning the old fashion way, commit it all to his memory.

In an interview (once its discovered what he's doing) he's asked a single question.

"Why?"

And he just smiles softly, joyfully, for all that his optics are sad. "I am an archivist. It is my job and is enjoy it. And... You are such a short lived species. None of you deserve to be forgotten. You will always be in my memories, for as long as I shall live so too, shall you."

I think my biggest pet peeve of the EarthBound/MOTHER fandom is how people draw Ninten

Like this is the official art.

He's got a cyan shirt with thin yellow stripes.

These are unofficial, but still depict him looking like how he does, striped shirt half-tucked into shorts, the iconic red hat and pac-man eyes.

Like, that's Ninten!

But because Ness is a clone (and if not for the fact that he was born around when EARTH BOUND/MOTHER ended, I'd've thought he was Ninten's son) and more importantly because he was in Super Smash Bros. people decided to differentiate Ninten from Ness instead of vise-versa

I mean it sorrrta makes sense cuz like that once commercial has Ninten wearing very different clothes but like

I never see Loid wearing that fucking jacket! I never see him with black hair!!

All I'm saying is Ness shoulda been differentiated, they did my boy dirty. Just gonna draw Ness with the American design to differentiate fuck everything.

I very much appreciate video games that are made to be spiritual successors to long dormant IP, either by the creators of said IP who no longer work for their company and didn't retain the rights to their creation, or from indie devs who are just really big fans of an IP that is simply going unused. They're really feeding starving fans what they want.

...but man...

This was a give away price for @naturesass back in twitter. Featuring Kumatora from Earth Bound. I’m still actually VERY happy with this one, except for maybe the legs, but from the hips up? I’d say I did pretty darn good with the perspective and expression! If I did this now, I’d probably want to go even more over the top with the PK Star Storm effects

there's an ORION PAX LOOSE on EARTH

Orion is a smart cookie! he knows that there's some Fuckery going on. And really? Ratchet? As a crazy warlord? When Megatron is standing right there and very clearly is crazy as a bag of cats and has literal faceless minions?

Pull the other one, Orion ain't buying it.

So he plans his daring escape! It goes like this:

He walks up to a Vehicon and goes, all polite and shit "I need to go down to the planet below. These are the coordinates."

And ofc the Vehicon (it was Steve) just does it bc it's Orion Pax! Megatron vouched for him! Megatron said that he could lie for shit!

Which is still true! Orion Pax can't lie well. But he can manipulate. those big blue optics got him whatever he wanted. And he wants off this ship

Now he's on the surface, alone.

First order of business? Getting away from the scene of the crime.

...once he figures out just what the fuck he transforms into.

HE DOESN'T EVEN KNOW ENGLISH. OR ANY EARTH BASED LANGUAGE! HE DOESN'T HAVE HIS MEMORIES.
