she's safe, that's what matters. peyton kept repeating that over and over in her mind. she's safe, i have to keep her safe. they had ambushed her and her daughter, but peyton was resourceful and thanks to her father she was an expert in hiding her loved ones, and protecting them so after fighting to get away from the man attacking her and her daughter, peyton hid her daughter. luckily she had been able to grab the man's gun that he had dropped in the middle of their fight. the psychic let out a shakey breathe, holding the gun up as a sound caught her attention. the cut to her arm had already caused her to lose a good amount of blood but she pushed through, trying her hardest to keep her vision focused. "don't fucking come near me!"the words ripped through her, right from her core as her finger twitched against the trigger.

The river court was empty, the weather had been acting up and the clouds above seemed determined to make the gloomy winter day even gloomier. Her sketchbook was open, the newest drawing staring back at her. Half finished and confusing. Something she had started late one night when she couldn’t sleep, an idea that came to her, but the more she drew it, the less it seemed like anything other than an odd doodle.

“ You’re late again Scott. ” With a smile, she placed the sketchbook down on the bleacher next to her, managing to give Lucas a quick kiss before sitting back down. “ I expect punctuality. ”

Obviously joking, she had turned around to where he had sat, intertwining their fingers. It was a plan she had, a date, nothing too fancy, but something that both of them needed, especially since they weren’t able to spend that much time together recently. “ So, ready to spend the rest of the day with me? ”

"Alright, folks. Let's do this one last time.

My name is Peyton Parker. I was bitten by a radioactive cross between a spider and a honey bee, and for the last 2 years, I've been New York's one and only Yellow - Jacket. Yeah, I know, not really the conventional name for my group, but I didn't know we had name guidelines. But I think you know the rest:

My uncle died. I fought some bad guys. Got infected by weird alien goo. Saved my best friend Harry. Won the Daily Bugle's comic strip contest. Got my own personal box seat at any Broadway show. Fought some more bad guys. Got the key to the city. And I bought lots and lots and lots of Honey."

Peyton Parker is the Spider - Man of their universe, however, because they were bitten by a spider/bee crossover, they decided to call themselves, Yellow - Jacket, and have a more bee style theme. Instead of webslingers, they made a device that works similarly, but instead of web fluid, they made a strong honey fluid material. Peyton lives with their Auntie May and hangs out most days with their good friend Harry Osborn. They are playful, quick witted, and snarky when in their superhero persona, but Peyton is still a bit insecure out of it. Which helps a lot when concealing their identity. They pretend to be a wimpy, pushed around nerd, but dedicate themselves to protecting the city they love.

Eventually, to save money on the store bought honey, Peyton eventually starts bee - keeping as a hobby. Turns out, it's pretty easy when you and the bees can talk to each other.
