#mushroom cat tree

I spent some of my weekend making our cats a new cat “tree”. I wasn’t finding anything I liked out in the wild, so I made my own mushroom tree.

It’s mostly wood and a heavy-duty carpet tube wrapped in sisal, foam batting, and then upholstered. The tops I made custom with my rug tufting machine.

I’m hoping within the next few days it’ll be thoroughly investigated and claimed by the house beasties.

My last post inspired a situation of Michael just having a rough time with his mental health and Johnny trying to cheer him up is like come on bitch we're going shopping and Johnny takes Michael to get a cat and all the cats gather around Johnny (because he smells exactly like one and can turn into a cat) but one little oriental shorthair kitten walks up to Michael and he swears to protect the little baby (they then go on a spree of buying cute things for it and Michael gets it a collar that has a little bowtie on it and a mushroom themed cat tree inspired by his addiction to playing re7)
