Got some requests for some N and Cyn!

N was the one to suggest removing Cyn from Uzi's tail once they understood it was actually Cyn- she was hesitant at the offer because it had been 20 years since she had any sort of autonomy and was so used to being an idle watcher.

A lot of her free time in the early days is spent just sitting idly, she has to re-learn a lot of how to exist solo; but once she gets the hang of free will again she'll be practically exploding with self-expression 💞

The weather is super unpredictable post-series and it's no longer just a snowy hellscape all over, so on pleasant nights he helped her take walks outside, otherwise she'd happily spend all her days cooped up in the bunker. The cold weather outside probably feels really nice since AS Drones run warm!

I find the fact that the confrontation at the end of UTRH is often summarized as Jason asking Bruce to kill the Joker for him fascinating.

Because that's not what happened.

Jason holds a gun up to Joker's head, gives Bruce another, and tells him that if Bruce doesn't do something (shoot Jason), he will kill Joker.

Jason doesn't give the gun to Bruce so that he would shoot Joker. He isn't expecting Bruce to pull the trigger on the clown. He's asking Bruce to do nothing. To be inactive. Because that will still be a choice, and despite having done nothing, everybody clearly agrees that Bruce would still, at least in part, be responsible for Joker's death.

...And to me, this moment is a kind of- microcosm, of the rest of Jason's point. Because after being captured and carted off to Arkham, the villain will escape again, and will kill more people. The only way to truly prevent that from happening would be to kill them; Bruce refuses to do so, and I respect his right to choose such a thing for himself, but it is still a choice, and if we agree that Bruce's inaction during the confrontation would leave him at least partly responsible for the Joker's death, then we must also agree that his inaction in permanently preventing the Rogues from killing more people means he is also, partly, responsible for all of those deaths.

Danny always knew there was something wrong with him even before the accident.

He had memories that he couldn't place. Fuzzy scattered ones of him in middle and high school even when he was still taking elementary classes. As a kid he, of course, thought he had superpowers or was receiving psychic visions of the future.

It wasn't until the after the accident that he knew the truth. More specifically, it was when he met Dani.

Memories of being surrounded by people in white coats surfaced in the days following. They would conduct "tests" in which Danny would be forced to solve a puzzle or figure out the answer to something before the timer went off. It always ended the same. He always failed. It wasn't because he was stupid or anything, it was because he was a tiny child who was scared and wanted his mommy and daddy, even if he didn't even know what they would look like.

So all he would do was wail as the scientists stewed in thier frustration. Thier artificial "Robin" was labeled a failure.

Clockwork smiled as the door to the Clocktower slammed open. "Right on time."

"You stole me!" Phantom accused, tears in his eyes, "You took me from my original dimension!"

Clockwork nodded, "Yes."

"Why?!"

In lieu of an answer the time god opened a portal, "And now its time for you to leave."

Phantom snarled, fighting against the sudden suction pulling him into the portal, "This isn't over!" He managed to bite out just before he was completely pulled in.

"I know."

The next thing Danny knows is that he is floating high in the sky of a city he knew instinctually was Gotham. The memories from his...original? His template? Were now fully available to him and told him with absolute clarity that he should not stay shining up in the Gotham sky at night unless he wanted a visit from the big bad bat.

He didn't want to test his luck in case he wasn't a fan of clones. Especially since he was a clone of his son.

Thus begins Danny's DC world tour as he searches to the truth behind his creation and attempts in vain to return home all while trying and failing to dodge all the people who are familiar with his template.

(Danny can be a clone of any of the Robins and you can play with the ages all you like thanks to time travel and fanfiction)

So, hey, guess what came today?

Overall I can safely say the figures are absolutely gorgeous. They're really nicely put together, with separate torsos for the naughty versions, and the only trouble I had was removing Aoba's right arm so that I could take out the paper in the joint; as is usual with figures like this, everything is packed with little soft papers in the joints so nothing gets rubbed or damaged in transit. I just had a hard time getting purchase on the arm because of its angle. Everything slid apart and snapped back together nicely. Koujaku's hair ornament doesn't stay very well, so I might glue that in just for safety.

As you can see, I immediately switched out Aoba's head for the alternate one where he's smiling. The robes are attached to a left arm part, but those were easy to swap out; the only bit that took some finagling was getting them all lined up with Koujaku's right arm around Aoba's waist.

Each figure has an alternate torso, which was discreetly covered by black paper in the box. They are, indeed, naked and aroused if you want to display that. Koujaku's dick confirmed to be huge, btw. Just saying.

Only thing I will say is that I was surprised that there is no base for the figures, but I could have missed something in the packaging. It also came with a little postcard of the original Honyarara art for the figures. I have no regrets in getting this and I'm still a little in disbelief that it's mine.
