Without naming anyone, have you ever refused/simply avoided another RPer in the fandom because of things you’ve heard others say about them, or because of their popularity? If so, why did you feel the need to?

You can usually figure out someone's personal character through scrolling the first five pages of their rp blog, self-proclaimed popular or otherwise, so yes. I'm lucky, though, because I write a relatively fandom-hopping original character (and female at that) so I fly under the radar of most people I'm avoiding anyway.

{ i think that my recent writing speaks for itself, heheh... i really like exploring relationships and how differences in personality can change how a relationship, romantic or platonic, can bloom. }

{ despite how reserved i can be in real life, i love how important connections are to anyone's life. no matter what genre i write, or games i play, i often seek out ways that the character(s) i play connect with the world around them (i.e. why would my character care about this objective?) if a game or show doesn't focus on that, i don't tend to enjoy it nearly as much. }

What are rare-pairs that you are passionate about, if any?

{ i never really gave much thought for ships in pokemon, unless they're hinted at in-game. this changed when i met and started writing with my partners. }

{ i'm passionate about Cafe Noir (Touya x Serena) thanks to @iruludavare. it's one of my first ever ships i'd written that stars two canon characters on tumblr, but i never see art of it because it's so obscure! (artists give me your commission info pls lol) }

Honestly I am bad at self reflection when it comes to my own writing. I am a perfectionist, I just try to get it out there without hating it, and it can be a painful process sometimes. When I do think it's working, usually it's to do with how I translate a scene I imagine in my head. I think I can do a good job at leading the 'eye' of the reader where I want it to go, a bit like a camera for a movie. Or at least that's my goal!

As for my oldest OC. Ta-da! You're looking at him. Before I wrote Raum I played in a couple of those rp circles where they hand you a character in a story to play with, and after that, I wrote couple of canons! It's been ten years with Raum now since then. My little old man.

I kinda like the idea of Maggie/Rosita. I feel like I'm the only one to ever consider shipping them. I hope I'm not.

💔Least favorite ship for the muse?

This is an awkward question because I don't like several of Rosita's canon ships. I can't see Gabriel/Rosita. That's my least favorite I'd say. In my opinion they have no chemistry. My own portrayal of Rosita never goes for him.

💢Something about the muse that annoys you?

Nothing about Rosita annoys me. At least I wouldn't put it like that. She makes mistakes and she has flaws just like all the other characters, but I love her or I wouldn't write her. What annoys me is that the writers never put her in good relationships. She goes through several and they are all either bad or end up bad. After losing Abraham, she loses Spencer, then Siddiq and the Gabriel one is just weird to me, it felt forced.

💡 What inspires you to write the muse?

Rosita is never really seen showing much vulnerability on the show even though she suffers a ton. She's lost family, she's watched her ex being beaten to death in front of her and she was forced to look at the bloodied murder weapon right after that, for a while she lost her best friend. Yet you hardly ever see her breaking down. It's definitely part of who she is. Rosita is a hard woman. But everybody has their breaking points and I would really like to explore how she is feeling because as well as she can handle herself, Rosita is still human.

And I would like her to be more involved with the rest of the group. Asides from Abraham and Eugene she isn't that close to anyone. They After Abraham's death, after Spencer's death, after Eugene is taken, she has no one she is really close to.

I have multiple.

Rosita's childhood dream was to become a nurse. She's interested in medicine and loves caring for people. That's why she picked up those medical skills she learned from the others in her old group so well. She actually would have gone to nursing school after completing her military had the outbreak not happened. For as hardened as she may be, she's very caring. She's just not good with words. She will show it through actions.

My other headcanon is not the happiest headcanon and it's canon-implied, as the canon mentions she was raised by a single mom who taught her to fend for herself, but I would like to add that I think Rosita was mostly relying on herself from a young age. Her mom had to work a lot and they couldn't afford babysitters, so as soon as Rosita was able to (which was earlier than most kids) she would prepare her own meals and find jobs to financially support her mother. She also had no one to help her with homework or anything like that. Things didn't change after her mother died when she started living with her nephew and her older brother. She then also had to watch a kid in addition to dealing with school and working. And it's unexpected to many but in school she was kind of an outsider. All of those things played a part in why she survived. She has always been more self-suffiient than most but she is also good at playing her part in a team.

😒 Is there anything canon about your muse that you ignore?

Her death. My version of Rosita survives. Her daughter gets to grow up with a mother.

She's an underrated character. She gets objectified too much and not seen for who she is.

⌨ What’s a situation you’ve always wanted to RP with the muse?

I would love to play her during the Negan era. I'm mutuals with a Negan blog, so a confrontation with Negan, a face-to-face conversation between the two would be thrilling. And I think Rosita could bond with Maggie. Everyone has suffered but those two have gone through very similar things. Also, they were both part of GREATM. I just feel like there is so much potential.

We are both emotionally guarded, blunt latinas but other than that we aren't similar at all.

Kisara did the send a yugioh character meme?

Why I like them/why I don’t; She may not be the most indepth or charactar but she's not with out some depth despite her limited screen time. And so much unused potential. (Potential that while unlikely we'd ever seen or know there was always a chance - before Takahashi's unfortunate death. Cest la vie. Like I don't expect he'd have ever written anything but imagine if we could have one day gotten her story written even as a one shot or something- or maybe even get more answers in an interview ah well)

What I like about their appearance; What can I say I like me a white haired character lol. She's pretty, perhaps not the most unique look but nice. (If you mean appearence in show- I like that while she clearly is one to avoid conflict / not try to fight back as shown when she was being stoned at the same time she does care and when push comes to shove she will fight back and protect someone )

Do I prefer their dub names or original names? Thankfully she got to keep her name (While not all dub names are bad I can admit there are plenty of times where their og name was better)

OTP; Blue/Mizu any form of Kisara/Seto *chefs kiss* but also a personal favourite that does not get enough attention Kisara and Thief King (I did a really fun rp with someone years ago), Outcastshipping has so much potential and it's honestly a shame the two never got to interact in canon. They're like two sides of the same coin. (Kisara with any of the legendary Knights is rather appealing to)

Favourite moment they were in; Her moments are few and far between sadly but honestly I think I might say I really like a moment that I know is in the Manga but can't recall the anime where when the Palace is underattack/ getting damaged or whatever and Seto goes to set her free she asks if what's happening is HER FAULT. Which I just feel is very telling that FOR SURE she has been accused of and had the blame placed on her for problems in the past (whether her fault or not)

Least favourite moment; I don't hate the choice of her dying protecting Seto I just suppose I dislike that she ended off being killed before we got more time with her (I know he was under a lot of stress and pressure so even if he wanted to he couldn't explore that)

6. do you have ideal writing circumstance when you can do a lot of drafts or tackle really long ones very easily?

Yes, I do! Normally it's a case where I do a few shorter replies first and that gets me in the mood for the long ones. It doesn't always trigger though. Some days are just no good for writing. Notibly, I've been pretty sleepy the last few days.

21. does making icons give or take away energy to write? what about other graphics?

So, it's kinda off topic, but while I have no probably making, finding, and using icons, but other forms of formatting or fancy graphics really bother me. I'm not doing coding for a roleplay reply. But to a certain extent, everyone expects you to do it? I always felt that, when I don't do any formatting, people tend to over look me. Humans are very visual creatures, and even in written media, we have replies to look good. Which is why so many people use small text. Anyway, I have strong feelings on this. I think you shouldn't have to make your blog or replies look pretty to be considered a good roleplay partner.

On mobile? Like two sentences. I can't write on mobile. It does not work for me. I also don't have data, so there's not much point of my trying to write on my phone.

❤️ How does the love in your heart affect how you RP? Any other notable emotions?

I gotta say, reading this question made me laugh a bit as, initially, I interpreted it as "are you in a relationship or otherwise have a lot of love in your life and how does that transfer to RP, or are you single?" And I guess that just feels like a bigger deal than it is to me.

Personally, I haven't written this muse in a time I wasn't in love: when I started this blog, I was in a long-term relationship and over the past five years of writing this blog, I've gotten engaged, married, and moved into a new home with my now-husband (and our cat, Molly, who is the real boss around here!).

With that in mind, I think the way I view relationships, romantic, platonic, familial, or otherwise changes with time and perspective. In general, I'm writing a muse who is between the ages of 17 to 25 most of the time, though the longer I write various storylines the more Sonia ages along with them. I'm in my late thirties (my birthday is this month and I'm at an age where I start dreading them!) and I think what has helped me regarding the love in my personal life is being able to look back on what being in love was like at a younger age and the various conflicts and emotions that went along with them. Many of the things I considered important about relationships back then aren't even relevant to me now, but I can write similar feelings for my muse because she's at that age. Granted, she has a lot more pressure regarding marriage on her shoulders than I ever did and was forced to grow up very fast, but it's different writing a character who is in their late teens through mid-twenties looking back on that age than it is to write a character while living through that time in your life offscreen.

And a few other more specific love/romance/ship-related things that affect how I RP:

It's been quite awhile, but I distinctly remember how my approach to writing sexual intimacy changed as I both grew older and, ahem, got some real life experience. Being a virgin at 18-20 years old writing a sex scene versus being in my thirties and married writing a sex scene are two very different situations with very different purposes. Nowadays, if I'm going to write a physically intimate scene in RP I generally want it to have more meaning beyond the muses having sex (which is also why I don't post or send in sinday content! If the storyline I'm building with a writing partner is heading that way, we'll write it, but not simply due to a meme or tumblr trend).

I identify as a cisgender heterosexual woman, but my muse identifies (though she isn't always aware of it depending on the verse!) as a cisgender woman who isn't heterosexual. When writing Sonia, especially in romantic relationships with a character who doesn't identify as a cisgender heterosexual man, I try to read/watch/listen to plenty of experiences in the LGBTQ community. Whether that's news coverage, documentaries, fiction, online communities, and/or my friends' experiences when they are comfortable and interested in opening up about them, I approach it with an open mind and an understanding that this isn't my space, but I want to learn to in order to both support those who are a part of that community as well as try to write my character with authenticity and compassion. The last thing I want is to lean into uncomfortable or inappropriate tropes, fetishization, or other derogatory takes.

The hardest thing here, for me at least, is knowing that Sonia doesn't come from a family, much less a country, that supports her specifically in an LGBTQ relationship. The difficulty is writing that opposition as a challenge that Sonia must face and ultimately overcome if she's to have a recognized relationship and eventual union without making my writing partners feel uncomfortable by the hate and prejudice my character, and at times theirs as well if they're writing a ship with me, experiences.

Communication helps: I trust my writing partners to tell me when that line is crossed and I need to pull it back a bit, and I don't hesitate to do so.

tl;dr - I've written Sonia in romantic ships with men and women, and the smut unfolds organically.

Are there any plot tropes you are sick of/refuse to RP? If so, what are they and why?

I'm a trope enthusiast, so not particularly. I don't really do pregnancy-related plots due to my own personal phobias (I'm happy for Echo to have kids in stories that make sense for it, but they have to kind of just show up rather than actually writing it out), so that's the only one that comes to mind.

My fatal flaw is that I can plan and write the same plot 400x and never get bored at the 401st attempt.

{ i haven't taken the time to read the pokespecial manga, but it seems like a lot of fun! i'm sure it's great for its own merits; i know that pokespe is unafraid to touch on some tougher topics, which i greatly appreciate. }

{ i... kind of resent that ash/satoshi took the place of basically every protagonist in the regular anime. i also resented that the ones they did depict were relegated to small timers or his 'love interests.' i never really related to him at all, and it made me unwilling to watch the show after Seasons 1-2. }

{ i did dip my toes back into it around the Alola arcs because i loved the animation and the characterization of literally everybody else that wasn't Ash and Team Rocket again, but that didn't last. }

7. Ohhhhhhh there’s so many! Well I’m obviously a fan of found family ❤️ I love the kind of relationships where the people involved choose each other and would continue to choose each other every day through thick and thin. Those are some of my favorites.

And I also love the antagonists who like totally despise each other but the best they do against each other is pulling ridiculous pranks against because they know it would drive the other crazy. “Kidnap their loved one? Why would I do that? I’m going to drive by their house at 3 AM and blow the loudest foghorn I can find to wake them up. That’ll really piss them off!” That kind of thing.
