first of all so sorry i’ve been absent here. like you said, i’ve had a lot of other projects taking up my attention. with how demanding my stories are, i struggle a bit to tend to multiple at once, which is why american tradition has been at the forefront this past year. it can be very time consuming. art is also much more physically strenuous on me in recent years and unfortunately i can’t post once a day like i used to forever ago.

to answer your question though, continuing the story definitely isn’t out of the question for the future. nine is still here i promise and i love him dearly. it’s all in my head and i hope one day i get to share the whole thing with you guys when killersnarl comes back to me. nothing is ever done forever.

Possibly, very likely. I'm not a laywer but if it was made legally distinct and had no mention of incredibox then yes.

They'd have to argue that they own the rights to the entire concept of music making games with little characters that make instrument sounds.

That being said, I'm not a laywer. Maybe talk to a laywer friend if you have one for advice. It would be a start.

What would really help would be to give it an entire new rebrand name so Incredibox doesn't just mass flag it for being called sprunki

PLEASE tell me about how being a human lie detector complicates Kallus and Zeb's friendship that premise is amazing and I need it

So I came up with the idea when I was Heavily into Kalluzeb (most of my fic Ideas tend to be around something i'm very into at a given point in time)

Basically Kallus has been used to people lying to him, so he does not know how "truth" essentially tastes like. He can smell strays of it sometimes but it's not something he relied at all on while in the empire. It's only after he comes back from being stuck on Bahryn with Zeb that he realises what truth tastes like.

And he decides that he'd rather be around truth than live a lie in the empire, and his ability does help him while working undercover.

His friendship with Zeb grows once he defects, and while he does expect the little white lie he'd sometimes get like "Did you eat today/yea I did/Zeb I don't think one meelon fruit is enough"

He does not expect for Zeb to tell a lie when another Rebel asks him if they're friends. Kallus expects the man to hang out with him less if he thinks they're not friends, but Garazeb still asks him to spar & nags him to take a break from work.

So Kallus decides to distance himself instead, but that doesn't help either as Zeb then approaches him to ask what's wrong. Kallus feels like their friendship is real but if so, why does Zeb lie??

I do like that visual! It's very close to what I was imagining, though I was more going for divine horror.

Imagine looking at someone and in one of their eyes you see an unnatural light looking back at you. A power so ancient and divine, you can feel its weight just by staring at its long lost reflection frozen in someone's iris. Yet you don't know what it is, so you can only stare at them and feel like you're seeing forbidden things that pierce your very soul. That's what looking into his other eye is like.)

I never expected to see a PBS Kids villain on my Tumblr dash. What made you pick Hacker?

Omg, thank you for this ask but you have no idea the can of worms you’ve just unleashed.

Not sure how much you remember/know about the show but the lore runs way deeper than it has any right to. Yes, it’s a kids show with kids protagonists who do technically stop Hacker’s plans, but Hacker’s true character motive driven adversary is his, God of the Universe, mother. My interpretation of the character is as gifted child in an over achieving household where he was always expected to be one thing and never allowed to have his own dreams and desires. He was essentially just a vessel for his parents’ goals for him.

As a kid who grew up in one of these overachieving households where grades matter more than any aspect of your emotional well being, I feel like I can related to the character a lot and it’s very interesting to try and express how I feel through him. In the four years since I’ve started this account I’ve noticed that whenever I have a very emotionally challenging experience in real life I can really slot myself into the character’s shoes and it helps me process my own feelings too.

Hacker is a character who’s experienced a lot of pain and even in his adult life has never had anyone truly me on his side enough to be able to process or even share his feelings in a healthy way. When your mom controls the whole world is kind of hard to get anyone on your side. I think deep down he just really wants someone to be able to look at him and see something worth caring about.

Well that’s the short version anyways xD

He somehow heard through the grapevine vine she robbed his mom at one point. If she didn’t steal Shuska’s supplies she would have still had food and not eaten the berries that killed her.
