An Apparition in the Dark, Pt 1:

It's been a while. Yes, I was in hiatus, I still kinda am, the writer's block and the stress of personal life has struck me like Odysseus to Poseidon with the trident. But I'm gonna try my best to... Update my fics. :3

"I miss being human."

Danny Fenton, 17, Boy who has gone through so much, probably far too much for his age. Having run away from his very home to this hellhole that is Gotham, Why would he stay there? Because it's possibly the only place where he can hide from the bastards that are the GIW. He's not human so that makes him even more useful for the alleys, Crime Alley if we are being specific, he has hidden and ran away from the bats and they have never seen eye to eye.

Danny is a clever boy, ofcourse he would be because he's gone through a lot, but... Sometimes he reminisces of the time he was human. The time where he had no fear of being hunted down for experiments, the time when he didn't have to play hero for his town out of... The sense of responsibility he had taken upon himself when he died.

14 years old boy Danny, Died, in the very portal his parents had created in the name of science. Was it worth it? Danny wonders if his parents had felt the guilt of his death. Had they mourned him when they, by indirect faith, killed him. Because of their recklessness, because they were absolutely incapable of committing to lab safety precautions for their children.

Now, their boy.. Oh their little boy, Danny Fenton had ran away from home to they don't know where.

And Danny, He's just there. He will survive, he's always survived, he's survived death many times, he's faced the king of ghost, he's faced the god of time, he's faced gods and deities, he's faced more than a normal boy should.

"I miss feeling warm."

He is a ghost, a half ghost! Danny is a Halfa! He knows that, a lot knows that, that's why he's in Gotham anyways but they don't know that, they don't need to know he's partially dead. Just that he has abilities. He doesn't always need to play hero for these pricks, if anything he can use his abilities to play the role of... Justice.

Now he just sounds like A Bat, he doesn't wanna be labeled as a bat. Maybe... Maybe it wouldn't be so bad to be like them he thinks, he stares at them from afar as they... Converse and talk, they're totally brothers or related in some way.

The Bat Himself may or may not have noticed the little lingering presence that stares from the darkness, from afar. Actually, he's the first to notice out of all the bats surprisingly. He doesn't know what it is about the staring eyes but they're not malicious, They're.... Not dangerous, Not entirely but something about the presence felt like they're just... Small and meek.

They're cold but they occasionally longed for warmth, The Bat would leave 'treats' or money hidden away in a spot where these eyes could see, the way they watched him warily.

" . . . "

Now Red Robin wasn't stupid, Timothy Jackson Drake-Wayne wasn't stupid. He's been... Watching, Observing Bruce whenever he leaves those items in a hidden specific place, near the darkness. He doesn't question it, he didn't need to... Not Yet.

Taking notes of everything, every time the items disappear, when they were hidden, what date they were given, observing ever so closely as much as he could without causing suspicion on himself.

It was going well, no one else had noticed, Not even Bruce but suddenly, one day. Out of the blue, he felt a presence sit beside him on top of a building. "You're Red Robin right?" The invisible boy asks.

Before Tim could react, the invisible Presence spoke again, "You're warm.... I miss Feeling Warm." And then he disappeared, "Wait—!" RR reached out beside him where he felt the other person was but they were gone... Like a ghost.

". . . Safety?"

It's been a few months since then, he slowly got warmer with them, helping them occasionally when they're struggling. Fine he's gonna admit it but they feel like family now— family? Damn... He hasn't felt that connection in so long.

They've heard his voice, but he was still invisible, he was still afraid,, maybe. He laughs at their jokes, They include him with a lot of stuff and they kept implying that he should come home with them.... Yeah.

Maybe he should, Danny smiled to himself as he hovered and followed them back to the cave unbeknownst to them. He was amused and in awe, the Batcave! Wow! Maybe he'll follow them around more often now.

As he wandered around silently he saw them out of costume— okay, Maybe Danny shouldn't be actually following them without them knowing but— "I hope he knows he's safe here." Danny's ears perked up when he heard what seems to be signal, or Duke as he's learned, spoke.

".... Safety?" He mumbled under his breathe, a bit taken aback by that sentence. They want him to be safe...? That... That was new....

Yeah.

This was nice.

My take on Leona dream, slight spoilers under

I don’t think Leona actually wants his brother and Cheka dead. I think it’s a case of Malleus taking Leona’s intrusive thoughts and morbid thinking and actualizing it.

I think most people, at some point, thought about not wanting someone in their life. Even if it’s intrusively. Anyone who as siblings probably thought at one point for their siblings to disappear from their life but then the next day your best friends again 😭

I feel like Leona’s dream is similar to Jamil’s. The same what if scenario about someone you have a complex relationship with but not actually wanting that to happen. I think it’s more of Malleus taking a black and white interpretation of people’s thoughts and feelings and not really taking in consideration of the nuances them.

And maybe Malleus own biases seeping in. Like I don’t think he has a good understanding of Leona and Jamil as people so I’d imagine Malleus would take any suppressed feelings and take it at face value because that dream makes them “happy” but fails to understand that won’t create real “joy”?If that makes sense?

Mabel and Ford having matching sweaters for the fall season. Mabel made them herself and Ford wears his proudly. He may or may not have cried when she gifted it to him. He'll never tell. They go on walks and watch the leaves fall and Mabel will crunch on the dead ones, smiling and laughing the whole time. She'll take Ford's hand and have him join her in jumping in piles of leaves and Ford's having a blast cuz Mabel's just a ball of sunshine and her enthusiasm is contagious.

They just spend the fall season being adorable goobers.

Dearest Gentle Reader,

This is to bring to your kind attention that Mun, who is currently on the verge of burning out, is preparing for the MHS Annual State Board Examination 24-25. Mun, being herself, is absolutely hopeless as a multitasker, which once was her special feature if the entire curriculum wasn't considered for one examination itself. Mun is extremely horrible at time management too, and needs to get a hang of her schedule. Mun isn't giving up roleplaying completely, and this is her short break from the adversity of stretching out between time zones to satisfy the momentary hobby. Mun also feels the need to rehab from self-deprecative tendencies such as addiction to hypercortisolism, slight anorexia as well as maladaptive daydreaming tendencies that prove lethal to her mental equilibrium.

Mun, being herself, again, is going to try to be online as much as possible because she loves her fellow roleplayers too much to abandon them even for a short while. Mun will most likely, be active in the timings: 7:00 to 8:30 PM IST / 10:30 to 11:45 PM IST. If possible for any of you fellow roleplayers, Mun would be more than happy to spend that time interacting, roleplaying and simply chatting on the server. Mun's love language is quality time too.

This routine shall go on, from: 4th February 2025 to 23rd February 2024.

Mun will particularly and strictly be inactive completely, or mostly from: 24th February 2025 to 17th March 2025.

As friends and fellow mates in this community, I hope my little time away is considered by all of you. Mun's modded accounts, listed below, will also be active or inactive, during these mentioned periods.

I can tell Terzo doesn't believe me. His eyes narrow ever so slightly as I fumble over my words, searching desperately for a confidence that does not exist at all. Whatever faith he has in me, it must be dwindling quickly. But he doesn't mention it - no, instead he straightens his posture and gives me a smile. "Well, this is fantastic news! I hope the interest from the... social rejects never falters," he purrs, patting my thigh through my cassock before rising to his feet. "Do keep me updated, Mary. Especially if anybody mentions me, per favore. You know I'm a glutton for punishment." I laugh awkwardly, nodding my head. "Will do, Papa. I'll let you know." "Attaboy," Terzo praises with a grin, giving me a thumbs up before making his departure from my quarters. "I'll leave you be for now, fratello. Ciao!" With that, the door to my room is closed. The sound of his heeled shoes clicking away on the tiled floors of the Ministry gets fainter and fainter. And I feel a deep, deep sense of dread settle in my stomach.

Thank you so much for this!!! It's so cute, and I can't believe someone thought of me when they saw this message! There are so many authors I can think of, but the top five are the ones on the top of my head.

Tsume_Yuki - They were the author who inspired me to write my own fics back when I was a wee child in the Naruto Fandom. I followed them from Fanfiction.net to Ao3 and never looked back. Actually, they changed my life.

Blackkat - Another favorite author who I admire from my Naruto days. Their time travel fiction is what made me really interested in the trope! Reverse was and still is a masterpiece.

Cywscross- I was already interested in the HP fandom because of Tsume_Yuki, but at the time, I had only seen the first movie and wasn't really impressed, despite reading a few fics now and then. Then I read C'est La Vie. I ran to get the HP books from the library once I caught up with the fic, and I have been trapped in the fandom ever since.

Child_OTKW is also an HP fandom author, but their writing makes the characters seem alive. Their advice on their Tumblr blog actually improved some of my writing styles. Because of them, I got dragged kicking and screaming into the Tomarry ship.

TumblingBackpacks- They have a fantastic ability to write characters, and their structure is superb. Their time travel is peak. An underrated author who needs more attention. I struggled with writing for a while as some online friends vanished, and my fics were bombarded with hate simultaneously. I was almost considering putting fanfiction writing down until they popped up out of nowhere with fanfiction of my work, and it got me to fall in love with the art all over again.

Spaghetti or lasagna?

' ' Hmmh, Spaghetti! I like spaghetti more. it doesn't seem like I gotta say why, so I wont. ' '

Sonic answers first, paws on his hips. he has one eye half closed but the other still wide open, almost as if studying the Anon. it was strange, these faceless people asking them things. but it didn't deter him no less.

“Spaghetti, like the blue idiot. I don’t know what lasagnae tastes like, nor do i ever plan to try it. Maria didnt seem intrested in it, so i dont see a need to be. Plus, the sauce is good. Lasagnae just.. doesn’t look appetizing.”

The ebony hedgehog chimes in after, shrugging simply with an unamused expression. He isnt bothered by these questions- he was confused by the faceless mobians, but that was it.

“..euck. Im not a fan of either option. They both get stuck and caught in my canines and its really uncomfortable. I guess I’ll go with the spaghetti, however. The meatballs make it better since, well, i’m still getting meat out of it. Speaking of meat.. i should probably go huning soon, this conversations making me hungry.”

The jackal huffs, paws on his hips as he turns away to look elsewhere, eyes open wide and ears twitching in a hungry way.

“Both. Im not a picky eater. I cant really be with this sort of body! Besides they aren’t the worst dishes ever, i dont have to decide most of the time, depends what ingredients we have really.”

Metal stares at the anon, red eyes glowing with obvious malicious intent. he then moves with a series of mechanical clicks and shifts, sharp claws gesturing towards his no-mouthed muzzle. he was saying, wordlessly, that he didn't like either due to a lack of a mouth. or a need to eat.

' ' Lasagna! definitely Lasagna. I just love that it's more easier to eat and layered. ' '

Silver Chuckles with a bright grin.

“I’d.. go with the same. Lasagna is just easier and more filling, plus, its less of a mess for me personally.. and i swear to gaia, if i get any jokes about ‘garfield’ i’ll singe somebody.”

Blaze hums with a gentle grin, before her expression sours at the mention of being compared to Garfield, lashing her tail abit.

“Uuh- hm. Honestly? Sorry to go against ‘nuckles here, but i like spaghetti! Its alot easier to make and was something i made alot when i was younger when amy and knuckles were out and couldn’t make dinner. The meatballs are amazing when amy makes them, too! i know some people ship 1ps with 2ps because the relationship between a 1p and 2p is up for interpretation and i'm fine with that. i try not to think too hard about it because a lot of the 2ps (and even the 1ps) have been heavily OC-ified and after being in the fandom for like 12 years, i just see it as ppl's ocs more than anything. everyone's version is different and i don't care. cuz sometimes someone's oliver is their self insert and not really the mirrored image counter-part of england.
