Honestly not to yume-rant but I'd say it's one thing to have a whole fandom hate an f/o (hell on earth) but it's a whole another thing when it's so obvious the current writers hate your f/o (the next layer of hell) or won't use them again.

Like just being aware that this character who brought you so much comfort is never going to appear back in the media in full or the character is just going to be written in THE MOST "HAHA LOL THE FANDOM HATES ME! AREN'T I SO [bad trait] FANDOM??" way possible.

And man that just SUCKS.

I've started calling these f/os "God doesn't love you, but I do." characters. And I'll be DAMNED if some of them aren't my favorite f/os.
