Latin Americans is crossed out because I initially included Brazil here, but decided this post would be for Hispanic Heritage Month. Spain is not included for the same reason LOL. I included Brazil anyway but it will be in italics. I know that Brazil is not a Hispanic country, I'm just lazy to change it

Pol. Smith: Pol was not born on earth, but during his years of adaptation on earth he lived in Mexico, that is why he would say that he is Mexican, only that he was born in Veracruz JEODHEOEKR

Functional Apparel Objects Apparel objects are debug items and show up as “clothing pile” in the catalog (Misc > Dressers). They must be placed on one of the DEBUG displays/shelves or they’ll float. Once purchased, take them out of the sim’s inventory and choose from one of the following: Purchase Clothing. Select an outfit (or several) of any type. Each apparel object is worth §100 towards the TOTAL cost. Sims save more money (and your businesses make more money) if they use one apparel object per new outfit. Sell. Recycle the object for §100 simoleons.  If you exit the Buy Clothing window without adding anything to your shopping cart, §100 will be added to the sim’s household funds instead. Apparel objects are worth §100 regardless of how much sims pay for them on OFB/community lots. Pricing an item below this amount can function like a discount sale (i.e., pay $75 in-store and §100 towards the purchase or a 25% “discount/rebate.” You can decide whether this counts as cheating). Pricing it above this amount is not recommended since sims will end up losing extra money. Debug objects have slots which “catch” fellow clones if you place them too close. current concepts for the cursed swap au (VERY bare bones and badly explained bear with me)

basically, the curious brothers switch with nervous + the beakers and then the smiths, grunts and specters all kinda cycle

(are there really only five families in this town?? holy shit)

Here are some simple outlines of their new dynamics (all of these are still wips)(also the idea of a swap au is being stretched to its limit, the only things the stories have in common at this point is vibes 💀)

The Curious Brothers: After Tycho was taken by the government, Pascal kinda went insane. Whether it's the aliens or the military, he's always convinced that something is coming to get him. His brothers have been trying to figure out a way to fix everything, but because they're math science nerds and not brain science nerds, they don't really know what they're doing.

Neville (Nervous) and the Beakers: After a long, rough childhood of being fucked up and strange, Neville Muenda has settled down in Strangetown, in the hopes of finding people just as weird as he is. He's been studying magic for years, in an attempt to Velveteen Rabbit/Pinocchio his way into creating a son from a sack of flour (as well adjusted and healthy individuals do). His relationship with his housemates (the Beakers) is distant but cooperative, a sort of mutual gain. The gadgets and taxidermied animals all over the place ensure that Neville isn't disturbed by any visitors while working, and the Beakers get to microdose being involved in necromancy. Y'know, as a little treat.

The Smiths: Jenny's disappearance marked the end of PT9's entire world. Everything on the planet reminds him of her, and everything seems hollow without her. The landscapes and stars he once yearned to call home are now nothing more than backdrops without a subject. As soon as he gets the chance, he's taking the kids back to Sixam, in the hopes that they can escape her crushing, overwhelming absence. Who knows, maybe they'll even blend in better there than in Strangetown. But I don't think he's taking into account how all of this affects the kids. I mean, after all, why make connections when it's only a matter of time before you're whisked away into space?

Ophelia and Olive: The resident weirdos of Strangetown, there are dozens of different rumors going around about these two. While Olive has somewhat made peace with her odd lifestyle, Ophelia finds herself torn between the worlds of the living and the dead. Part of her wants nothing more than to be a normal girl, but she can't ignore the call of the darkness in her bones forever. Who really was her mysterious uncle, anyway? And what is that "family business" Aunt Olive keeps talking about?

The Grunts: The perfect nuclear family that's been portrayed time and time again by sitcoms and movies alike. A General, serving his country; a wife, who tends the house and takes care of the kids; and three boys who have somehow gotten tangled up as the main suspects in a string of disappearances. Will the ghosts of their pasts haunt the Grunts forever, or will they find a way to convince the world of their innocence?

I made a version of Strangetown set 30 Years in the Past! So you can Play Characters like Vidcun Curious or Olive Specter in they Child and Teenhood. All the important Families, even the once you can't play in the originals like the Vandermorgans and the Nigmos are here.

How was it made?

Characters like the Curious Siblings have been extracted from the original game, imported into Body Shop and aged down there, so they all should grow up to look like they Strangetown Counterparts.  Characters you can only find in the Family tree have been build in Body shop to look as close as possible, since many of them have broken Templates in the original.

All Child and Teen Characters have dominant and recessive Genes matching they parent. So Vidcund could get a Child with black hair ore Pascal could get one with blond hair

There are also a pool of Original Townies, wich include all of Olives later Victims, so you can play out how they ended in her Backyard

Strangetown has 4 Community Lots. One Library with all the Hobby Items, a Swimming Pool, the local Waterhole and a big Mall that has everything from a Fashion Store, a Pet Store, a Restaurant and much more.

All Sims have a Family bio and a personal one, giving you possible Gameplay Ideas!

This World is CC free, checked by the Hood Checker and (almost) unplayed. The only thing I did was move everybody in. Everything else was done in SimPe. All Universal NPCs are untouched and unchanged. So there should be no hood corruption, or absolutely no danger for other Hoods. There is a Grim Reaper Townie, but it's just a normal Human Townie in a costume! Nothing that affects the true Grim Reaper

Beside the Townies I created there are no other ones, no Pleasentview defaults and no strays! If you want to keep it that way, you will possibly need a mod like notownieregen.

The Sims in the Screenshots have this Skin default, it's not needed, I just find it adds a nice Variety

my, uh, strangetown sim ethnicity headcanons (using real world location names and not the sims world equivalents)

the beakers and halfdanarsons are white. specifically the beakers were swedish, while leif was danish and ingibjorg was icelandic. the salamis were greek with arabic ancestry. the mcgorks were irish, moira was white while gwrtheyrn was black.

the muendas were meru kenyans who immigrated to simerica and the specter family is moroccan. since i prefer the name "ophelia specter" i like to reinterpret the nigmos family as specters and ichabod's family, making them also moroccan.

the grunts are latine - rock and wanda were mestizo colombians. family name was originally guerra, changed to grunt when they immigrated to america. mary melons was white and descended from french immigrants, but had no personal ties to france.

mike steel was a white latino mexican american. he had a white dad and a mexican mom. that ones based on me thinking donnovan steel and marisol loera were his parents until i realized they were contemporary with darren dreamer, lol! oopsies!

the curious & wheloff families are black americans - they don't really have any known ties to any other location besides the simericas - and hamm hogleg was a moapa native american, while his wife annie was white (hence 2 of their 4 grandkids being white passing in a vanilla game)

glarn's ex-wife glabe, on the other hand, was filipina.

the loners and frehndlys being indian is just canon. i dont have headcanons that elaborate on this further, though.

the loste family were originally from seychelles, or the sims equivalent, thus creole with largely east african and indian heritage. the simnitch family were slavic diaspora americans.

crystal vu is vietnamese american. bleaches her hair blonde but naturally has black hair. and dr. vu is her dad and also vietnamese.

blair mace is mixed race japanese american. dad (larry mace) is white american, and his mom (mystery) was japanese american.

The boys threw a little house party and invited a few people over. Despite her advanced pregnancy, Kaylynn also showed up to see Blake's new place and make sure he's alright in the city. He was just intrigued by the concept of life.

Blake: How do I grow my own like that?

Olive: Are you two the ones occupying the Espiritu Estate? I will have you know this was once one of the plots owned by the Muenda family and I don't appreciate stragglers around the premises.

Faith: Woman, that house was empty and dusty when I bought it fair and square for like a 1,000§ and a pack of gums.

Lazlo: Wasn't the place like haunted, too? I remember seeing the Dame in Red in the window a few times back in the day.

Faith: Yeah, we're cleansing the place from bad spirits or whatever.

Some Specter Family Headcanons (mainly Olive bc she's one of my faves)

The Muenda family was an upper class household, and Olive was supposed to be the heir to the family due to being the older one. Her parents considered giving the title of heir to Willow instead due to Willow being more sociable, but Olive found out and got them killed for it

Everyone in the family is really tall. Ophelia is the shortest out of them all, but is still tall compared to other people in Strangetown

Willow was never aware that Olive was behind their parents' murder until Olive was trying to kill her and Creon. Due to Willow not updating her will in time, Olive got custody of Ophelia

Olive sets up her house in a way that makes almost everything a hazard that could lead to death. This is how she was able to get away with murder, as most people viewed her as a scatterbrained woman who's accident-prone and lucky

Olive has attempted to kill Ophelia a couple of times but Ophelia is usually smart/observant enough to notice the traps Olive sets up and is able to avoid them. Once she turned eighteen she immediately moved in with Johnny and never looked back

Olive's motives for killing people involves wanting to see the Grim Reaper as well as having a very twisted sense of justice. Each person in the garden has "wronged her" in some way, with the exception of Ichabod who died normally

The service workers usually made some kind of quip that Olive interpreted as an insult or were slightly rude towards her due other circumstances, like them being tired

Olive met all of her previous lovers through the parties she attended. She became jaded after Earl E. DeMise but started getting over it once she got to Ichabod

Olive never cared for Hugh Thanasia or Rigger Mortis and mainly just married them for the sake of having a husband and so she could eventually sacrifice them to see the Grim Reaper

On Halloween, Olive turns off all of her lights and leaves a bowl of candy in front of her gate. Nervous also does this during the period of time when he lived alone

There's various trinkets buried in the garden that is associated with different victims. Olive also makes everyone's tombstones herself and has a special talent in making sculptures

Nervous has a random assortment of skills/knowledge and secretly has dark powers as a result of being the son of the Grim

Olive and Nervous aren't really close as Olive doesn't approve of anyone that Nervous chooses to date and usually makes passive aggressive remarks towards them, which is noticeable by both Nervous and whoever his partner is

Didn't feel like making a Mii for Ophelia lol sorry. I don't have any particuarly strong headcanons for her at all. I think she's either straight or bi

As a child, Willow often fell ill, having been haunted from a young age by a somewhat poor immune system that left her quite weak. For her, something as minor as the common cold could easily become something much worse.

And just as Lerato and Peponi had feared, their daughter returned home one day with a terrible, rattling cough. But she didn’t seem worried. At least, not at first.

But in her paranoid parents’ eyes, it was just another example of the Muenda family curse. It was yet another instance of the cold hand of fate trying to take something they held dear away from them.

As the days dragged on and her condition steadily worsened, she often came inside from playing with her tiny body wracked with sudden coughing fits, spitting blood on her white dress. Something she tried to hide.

Willow knew how much her parents would fret over her if they knew. She hated seeing them sad. She just didn’t want anyone to worry...

...even as her eyes grew heavy and her limbs grew stiff, unable to hold herself upright.

Upon seeing her sister unconscious and pale on the floor, Olive screamed, falling to her knees. Calling for their parents to come quickly. Cradling the child in her lap, feeling for a pulse.

Begging her little sister to please wake up...

But she just wouldn’t. She simply laid there. Eyes closed, breathing labored, and her body trembling and feverish. And no matter what they tried, she never woke up again.

As time marched forward, Willow’s condition only continued to deteriorate. Having tried everything, the local physician told them that at this stage of her illness, there was little to do but wait and see how her condition developed. But the odds weren’t looking good. 

In fact, it was increasingly likely that she would die. And very soon.

As much as they wished otherwise, Peponi and Lerato were told to make peace with this fact, to try to keep her comfortable in her final days, and to say their goodbyes.

But Olive, on the other hand, didn’t want to believe it. In fact, she refused. 

From the day her little sister was born, Olive had spent her time looking out for Willow in the face of the curse that her parents were so desperately afraid of, and she wasn’t going to stop now. Even after the news broke of her sister’s impending passing, she would spend every day at Willow’s beside, looking for any sign that she’d miraculously stir awake and bounce back.

She held Willow’s tiny hand as tightly as she could bear it, up until the day where she breathed her last. She could feel the girl’s skin as it steadily went from burning hot to frighteningly cold, a sensation that would easily haunt her for the rest of her life.

“Please... no...” She whispered, staving off the realization that her baby sister was gone. She wanted to believe that Willow was still there, just dreaming. “Please don’t do this to me... please wake up...”

“It’s too late for that.” An unfamiliar, monotone voice stated. “Your sister is gone. Now step aside, Muenda, and let me do my job for once.”

“No!”

“...No? What do you mean ‘no?’” The Reaper’s voice was indifferent at best, annoyed at worst. “Oh, right. Your family still thinks it can defy death itself, huh...”

“Look! I know... I know what you must be thinking, hearing me ask this, but... please.” Olive stared tearfully into the empty void of the Grim Reaper’s hood, her dignity thoroughly stripped from her as she pleaded with him to reconsider. “She’s just a little girl, she-- she didn’t deserve any of this! Please... I’ll do anything you want, as long as she gets to live.”

The Reaper stared down at her, his expression - naturally - being completely unreadable. But the intense thought in his sudden pause was palpable, as was his genuine confusion. “...Anything?”

“Yes. Whatever you want, I’ll do it.”

“Hm... interesting.” The Reaper mused, “This is new. I’ve never had a member of your bloodline offer something like this before.”

With a sigh, he motioned for the girl to stand. “Alright. I suppose I could make an exception to the rule. Just this once.”

“Thank you...” Olive wiped her eyes, sniffling. “What do you want from me in return?”

The Reaper hesitated, “Just to be certain, you, uh... you did say anything, right?”

“Yes... anything.”

“Alright, well... How about this, a life for a life--”

Olive didn’t even hesitate, answering before Grim could finish his sentence. “Deal! If you want my soul, take it!”

“Whoa, whoa, whoa! That’s not what I was getting at!” The Reaper exclaimed, “But I greatly appreciate your selflessness. It truly means more to me than you could possibly know.”

At this, she blinked in confusion. If it wasn’t her soul, then what did he want from her? “So... what are you getting at?”

“To be honest, I’m getting rather tired of this job. I’ve been at this ‘reaping’ business for hundreds upon thousands of years and it gets exhausting after a while. But, you see, the Grim Reaper can’t just quit.” The tone of his voice turned hesitant, thinking this through, “So... instead, I’ve been looking to ‘pass the scythe along’ so to speak.”

“Are you asking me to take over your job for you?”

“Haha! Wait... you’re serious?” The Grim Reaper shook his head, “No, Olive. It doesn’t work like that. Since you are a mortal, I’m pretty sure that if you touched my scythe, you’d actually just die.” 

He sighed, thinking of how to word this. “I’m basically asking you to help me... produce an heir. Someone who, by the circumstances of their birth, is more than qualified to take my place. So... how does that sound? Do we have a deal?”

“...WHAT?!”

“Okay, look, I know it’s confusing and weird but - long story short, I need someone who can easily serve as a bridge between the worlds of the living and the dead. Someone like me.” From his voice, it was clear that if he had a face, he’d be grimacing right now. He was just as unenthusiastic about this deal as she was. “I mean, if it helps, I’m not going to make you go through with it immediately or anything, because I don’t need it right now.”

“That’s still pretty weird, though!” Olive shouted, “I’m, like... barely twenty years of age. I’m hardly equipped to take care of a child, and you expect me to carry your... weird death baby?”

“I said NOT RIGHT NOW! Think of it this way - the deal is your sister’s life in exchange for this ‘itty bitty little favor’ I’ll ask for in... like, twenty to thirty years, at the minimum. Surely you’ll have your life together by then, right?” Grim replied. “And furthermore, knowing my history with your family, that’s actually a pretty generous deal.”

“Don’t you usually play a guessing game or something? Or-- or chess? That’s what I’ve read, at least. Why can’t we do that?”

“If it was any other mortal, I’d consider it. But I don’t play such games with Muendas anymore.” If he had eyes, he’d be rolling them out of his skull. “But I mean, if you want your sister to die a certain death, that can be arranged.”

“ALRIGHT, ALRIGHT, FINE!” Thoroughly exasperated, Olive placed her hand in the Reaper’s bony palm and shook it as hard as she could without snapping it off of his wrist, “It’s a deal! Just bring my sister back already, damn it!”

“A life for a life...” The Reaper muttered, staring at their intertwined hands before looking back up at her. His voice boomed, “This contract is sealed.”

“Yeah, yeah, whatever.”

“And remember, no one can know.” 

“What? Why not--”

As the Grim Reaper disappeared in a puff of black smoke, Olive grumbled under her breath. The absolute audacity of that... thing, can you believe it?

“...Olive? Why are you yelling so much?”

At that, Olive gasped, immediately shaken out of her previous train of thought. “Willow! You’re... you’re alive! It’s a miracle!”

“Um... Yeah. I guess so...” Willow quickly noticed the sad look in her sister’s eyes, frowning. “Are you okay?”

Choking on her words, Olive tried to hold it together. “Yes... of course. Of course I am. Well... actually... you see, Willow, you--... I--”

A sudden sense of dread struck her. Judging from the seriousness in the Reaper’s voice, Olive just knew it wouldn’t be a good idea to tell her the truth.

“N-- Nevermind.” She stuttered. “Can I... can I get a hug?”

Willow stared at Olive in confusion for a minute, before rising from her bed and wrapping her arms around her. “Sure thing, sis.”

...has finally ended. I have too many of everything, so recap:

Families: 71 Asylum: 1 Sims in college: 8 Sims in general (with townies and pets): 602 - round has ended with a few pregnancies...

Pleasantview: All sims that should be born - were born. Beginning of Pleasantview oficially has ended - now sims like Alexander Goth are starting their own families.

Strangetown: 2nd generation is slowly starting to start their own families, some well known sims were born, for example: Buzz Grunt or Beaker siblings. Also, Olive Muenda-someday-to-be-Specter grew up to be a teen ;)

Veronaville: 2nd generation - greatgrandparents of Juliette and Romeo are teens now. Random gender preference also trolled me hard in this hood, so there will be something else haha.

What do you think the deal is with Noela and Planchette? How are they related to Olive?

Hi there, I'm so sorry for the late reply! I was busy with university and didn't see this.

Noela Specter and Planchette Specter are both recreated sims from TS3, Lunar Lakes and Oasis Landing, respectively... along Mathilde Goth, Ceres Beaker and Atom Beaker, who are also from TS3.

I personally think they are not that far... since Mathilde Goth is supposed to be the daughter of Bella Goth, and Ceres and Atom the children of Loki and Circe Beaker... so Noela and Planchette could technically be the children of Nervous Subject as well... but could also be the nephew or niece of Ichabod Specter, respectively.

I think they are just distant decendants of Ichabod Specter... since Olive is actually a Muenda.. so any distant cousins/descendants would have Muenda as their last name, right?... unless Nervous Subject found out about his family and decided to change his last name to be a Specter and later had descendants as well.. but much like in TS3, it's actually up to the player to decide which path. ;)

The Fire:  New House

*Gemma Charm came to visit the Muenda family. The Muenda family were highly known for witch craft over the years causing many members to die of being accused of witchcraft. Causing alot of members to be murdered and killed off even passed the witch trial era. They’re part of magical history because there family getting butchered for years caused the government law to change. It’s now illegal to kill another magic person on a trail of witch craft. This causing a whole new generation of witches to come out without fear. This causing them to be on of the richest family of the magic realm.* Gemma:  “Hi” Creon:    “Hi, do you live in the area” Gemma:  “Yeah.”              *Gemma lied* Creon:     “It’s nice meeting you we just moved into the area.” Gemma: “That’s great.”    *Gemma pretended to be excited, hoping to get closer to the family wealth some how*

*Gemma looks around the house realizing it’s not structed properly some rooms you can see inside of by accident.* Gemma:  *Thought to her self*    “There’s no way I can get any of the money with these insane elderly walking around naked.” *Being a Caster gives Gemma the ability to set anything on fire, she sets a small fire in front of the door where Mr. & Mrs. Muenda were settled in*

Ms. Muenda:    “The doors on fire, how could there be a fire? We just moved in.” *She said nervously hoping to get out* Ms. Muenda:      “Did you start this fire! I always knew staying with your senile ass would get be killed! I should of divorced you after you lost your memory!” *Mr. Muenda staying silent about the situation watching his wife panic*

*The fire starts to spread though out the house to the front blocking the entrance. Willow burned from the fire almost not being able to make it out. Olive grabs Ophelia pushing her out the window. Creon was outside already.*

*The rest of the family watches from a safe distance not able to stop the fire while waiting for the fire department* Creon:   “The fire department still isn’t here!”        *Said worried about his in laws* Olive:  “No but, the grim reaper is here. I hope the fire goes out so I can talk to him for a little while”                  *Olive said while thinking about the grim reaper*  Willow:   “Olive our parents are dying!”

*Ms. Muenda screams in horror as the fire spreads, eventually caughting to her sleeve. Mr. Muenda dying slowly from smoke inhalation passing out heading his head on the bathroom sink.* *Gemma listening to the sounds of her screams haunting her for the rest of the days. Death waiting for Ms. Muenda to die* Death:      “Holy Fucking Cow Plant! What type of sick fuck kills a sim this way!” “They didn’t even die slowly!” 

*Gemma rethinking her plan but, knowing after this there’s no going back. She’s getting that money one way or another. *

Guys, Nervous is a family sim and that makes my heart HURT here’s a (very young) version of his family in my sims 4 save file from when Tycho and Venus were toddlers

I’ll have to do something to include Andromeda in the family photos as well… when she gets here at least.
