TOTALMTB IN THE MEDIA 2021 Towards the end of 2020 I wanted to make a real push for TotalMTB being in the media so we could reach and help more people. I think from the list below it’s safe to say we thankfully succeeded. During 2021 I’ve learnt that you have to be fairly good and coming up with ideas for content in which the media outlets think is a good thing to write an article about and publish and get their audience talking about. Some of the notable ideas were: - April Fools with Ben Moore and @orangebikes - Mental Health Matters video with notable people in the industry - LEGO MEETS MTB stop motion video To help get our message out there i’ve also taken part in a number of podcasts, both video and just audio with was a big thing for me. We’ve also appeared in two national MTB magazines, one local newspaper as well as numerous online articles. I just want to list where we’ve been seen this year and say thank you to them for helping me talk about TotalMTB, mental health and what we’re trying to do. Hopefully each article that goes out gets seen be a new person who we can reach and help. And to top off 2021 TotalMTB was nominated as a finalist for awards with not one but two national mtb magazines: Singletrack - BEST COMMUNITY INITIATIVE BikeBiz - BEST BIKE ADVOCACY It’s going to be tough in 2022 to keep coming up with big ideas for content for the media to report on but as always i’ll give it my best.
