Diaboys (+Yui) Ideal Vacation destination •3•
•Yui grew up so sheltered, she barley saw anything in Japan X-X. So I think she should visit Mt. Fuji first, you know, get to know see the main attraction of her country. She definitely has dreams to travel the world tho.
•Shu does NOT travel. Too much effort. But if he did I think somewhere very secluded. I really like the Idea of him in Greenland, but it might bring back some traumatic memories… (the girls that get it, get it). So maybe and Icelandic Island, or somewhere in the Scottish highlands (can someone please draw Shu chilling with Nessie X-X).
•Reiji is fluid in German so I think he should visit the alps, but the Austrian ones. With all due respect I don’t think my man can handle north Germany X-X (as a German who’s das lives in north Germany, but grew up in the south. I know). I also have a headcanon, that Reiji is very good at skiing. Not sure if he can understand Austrian alp dialect (my grandmas from there so again. I know) but I believe in him
•Ayato would probably be somewhere warme. To do all the water sports and stuff. I really like the Idea of him in Mexico
•Kanato CAN’T go anywhere too warm or sunny. I think Switzerland, the mother of chocolate (let’s not talk about where chocolate is ACTUALLY from). Swiss chocolate just hits different
•Laito goes to Greece. It’s just right.
•Subaru is also not a travel man, but I like him in either the Netherlands or New Zealand. I can’t explain it just feels right
•Ruki would probably go somewhere in the Caucasus area, like turkey or Armenia (yes I know turkey isn’t actually Caucasus area, but I forgot the English word for it). Like I totally think he would explore the remains of Troy (if it really was troy) and go to archeological sights. I also like the idea of him in west Africa for the same reason.
•Yuma would go to a small village in Calabria (I hope that’s also what it’s called in English, but anyways it’s in south Italy). He would have his own little garden there and gets along great with the locals, despite not speaking a word of Italien.
•Kou has traveled the world, since yk he’s famous. So I think he’d go on a wellness retreat on a mountain in Nepal, or to live with yaks in Mongolia.
•Azusa would either go to the middle of the Saharan desert or to Siberia. No in between. I like him more in Siberia tho. Fun fact: my fathers from a little city in the very VERY west of Siberia, and I’d just think it’s cute if he went there :3 (I’ve literally never been there, even tho I’d really like to go. I just know my dad was born there)
•The Tsukinamis travel together. No other option. If it were up to Carla (which it mostly is) they take a tour around Europe. If it were up to Shin, they’d go somewhere tropical, and very much not Europe, like maybe Kongo or somewhere in South America.
•Kino goes to Korea. Again I can’t explain it, it just makes sense. I won’t specify which Korea… because he would just go to both

Tent overnight climbing Mt Kongo Osaka Nara JAPAN テント泊登山 金剛山 大阪 奈良 It will be the second part of climbing Mt. Kongo in a tent. On the previous climbing route, I got my crampons at the entrance of the Wasabi Valley route, but I didn't notice it at all and returned to the Katra Valley route. Moreover, I slipped a lot there on a steep climb, and I realized that it was dangerous, and it was a dangerous continuation. What's more, he was defeated in a big twist on the Wasabi Valley route? ? Moreover, the steep climb is persistent. There was a narrow and interesting mountain trail on the ridge on the way. Also, exploring the summit of Mt. Kongo, drone aerial photography, and Katsuragi Shrine at night were cool. Will miracles happen at the main bird feeding grounds this time? I found out later, but there was a place to get off next to the clock tower at Mt. The Chihaya main hall route on the way back was stable and I was able to go home with peace of mind. It seems that there is the grave of Masayoshi Kusunoki and Chihaya Shrine at the end.

SENPOU MONKS RELATED TO THE DRAGON’S HERITAGE!?
I’ll get more into the lore later when it’s not 3:30 am and I’ll bring my evidence and stuff, but based on what the main monk says it sounds as though the dragon from the west gave him The Worm which makes him undying, similar but not the same to the wolf’s condition of resurrection. Our divine heir also has the Dragon’s Heritage, which means he’s related to a dragon in some way. Is it the same one???
That’s as far as I’ve gotten in the game, if it’s a stupid obvious answer don’t tell me I want to see the dragon(s) for myself!

Kokuzo Bosatsu (Ākāśagarbha (space-womb) Bodhisattva), 13th century
Kamakura period, Japan
108.0 x 60.8 cm
Colour on silk
Kokuuzo Bodhisattva had been worshiped as the principal image in an esoteric rite to improve memory (Gumonjiho) since the Nara period before Kukai introduced systematic Esoteric Buddhism from China into Japan. The description of the Bodhisattva image in this drawing clearly represents the principal image used in the esoteric rite of Gumonjiho: Depicted in gold, Kokuzo Bodhisattva sits on a lotus pedestal placed within a big white circle representing the full moon, with his right palm facing outward with all five fingers hanging down and his left hand holding a red lotus flower with a sacred gem with flames. The image emitting each three radiating lines from the head and body is the true form of the principal image used in the esoteric rite of Gumonjiho.
This painting is well-known as an elaborate, high-quality piece that fully embodies the following features of the 13th-century Kamakura period: Long slit eyes, the firm body, a waving tenne (a long cloth) and kanzo (ornamental ribbons hanging from the sides of a crown), overly decorative yet dignified description of lotus petals and slightly subdued blue, green and red colors which make a clear contrast with each other. The mountain landscape drawn in the lower part of the screen is said to represent Mt. Asama in Ise. Kukai, who learned the Gumonjiho from the fourth priest from Daianji Temple's Doji, who had introduced and disseminated the Gumonjiho in Japan, is said to have acquired the Gumonjiho at the Kongo Shoji Temple on Mt. Asama. This painting was created in relation to the tradition of initiation into the esoteric rites and serves as a suijaku painting (paintings based on the concept that Shinto deities are manifestations of Buddhist deities) depicting the honjibutsu (the original Buddhist identity of a Shinto deity) of the Gongen (Shinto deity) of Mt. Asama.

Undertale: PaperStory - Ruins Story
Here you’ll find: -Prologue -Beggining -Ruins -Old Home -Toriel’s House (And Fight)
Snowdin | Waterfall | Hotland | CORE | New Home | Post Neutral | The End
-Prologue-
A long time ago, two races ruled over earth: Humans and Monsters. One day, after a long period of peace, the two races went into a raging war. Many monster and human lives were taken. However, humans ended up winning the war, and sealed monsters inside of the mountain.
Several years later, in 201X, the first of many children would fall into the mountain while looking to shield themselves from the rain. And thus, the legend begun.
People who climb Mt. Ebott never return.
-Beggining-
Frisk (Paper) falls down from the hole and into the mountain, falling gently, obviously. When he lands on the bed of flowers, Chara rises from within. They had been awakened by his determination. After a brief moment of Paper (understandably) freaking out over the ghost that was now following him, Chara introduces themselves and explains that they're not here to spook him or anything. In fact, they don't know why or how they're here either.
Paper decides to go on continuing exploring the cave he's in to try and find a way out, and Chara is dragged along since they can't get too far away. It is when they meet Flowey the Flower, he doesn't seem to notice Chara's prescence for obvious reasons. He gives paper the basic rundown of the battle system.
Now, the battle system is similar to that of Deltarune in the sense that the enemies attack with bullet patterns after your turn is over. However, Paper can reduce or negate the damage output of attacks if Z is pressed at the right time when entering in contact with a bullet. But that is explained later, Flowey screws Paper the same way as he does in the original, and Toriel comes to the rescue.
-Ruins-
After a brief introduction, Toriel guides paper into the Ruins. Which look just about the same as the Original, just that the walls and such are made out of worn out cardboard. It is then when Chara brings something to Paper's attention: the Save Block-- which looks like the save blocks from PM64, but with a star pattern instead of an "S", plus their colors are more of a mix of yellow and blue. They explain that it allows them to SAVE, and that it will heal them.
Paper, not really understanding what the former means, jumps under the block, and thus, recovers all of his health in one go. He also SAVEs.
Toriel's tutorial about the puzzles and whatnot is the same, save for the battle tutorial, where she explains blocking and acting more in depth while Paper is in the encounter with the Ruins dummy, and on the long corridor scene, it's actually a tutorial for running (since yes, Paper can
run). And after that, she gives him a phone, a pat in the head, and leaves him to explore the Ruins by himself. Now that Toriel is away, Chara does some small talk about "What the hell happened here where's Dad" while Paper solves the puzzles.
The Napstablook encounter goes about the same as the original. Paper does encounter Flowey in more areas of the Ruins, though. And each time, he proceeds to spout some hateful cryptic garbage at him, and/or screw up a puzzle in order to stall his progress.
-Old Home-
Paper has to go through Old Home's city to get to Toriel's house. In this area, there's a local item shop ran by a Whimsun, who's just trying to make a living in the Ruins, but business has been slow, in his own words. People don't really come out that often since their spirits aren't as high, and Toriel's intimidation doesn't help matters either. Paper buys some food and whatnot and continues onwards.
Halfway through the city, they're struck by Kongo, a local Migosp who thinks that because Paper is having encounters with many monsters, he is trying to get into a fight, and he doesn't like trouble makers. Paper obviously isn't trying to get into fights, but Kongo doesn't listen.
His fight basically plays out differently from other monsters, since ACTing won't work, Paper has to beat Kongo down to be able to talk him out. Kongo reluctantly apologizes to Paper, and is like "If you can't beat them, join them." and he inserts himself into Paper's party despite him never agreeing to it.
* Kongo has joined your party!
Kongo's abilities are that of flight. He can carry Paper across large gaps, and throughout the rest of the town, there's some puzzles that Paper and Kongo solve together. Kongo also aids in battles via acting as well-- in his own way, of course. Wether or not he really helps is up to debate.
-Toriel’s House-
The two reach a Save Block right before Toriel's House, and Paper SAVEs. KKongo asks him why does he keep jumping at seemingly random. Paper seems a bit confused, but Chara advices not to tell Kongo what's up. So Paper shrugs his question off.
The two eventually reach Toriel's house. Toriel is surprised at Paper's new friend, but does allow him to come either way. Toriel makes the two pie, while kongo eats his slice on the spot, Paper saves it for later.
After Paper and Kongo go to bed and such, the former wakes up to the sounds of fire. He starts going downstairs, and Kongo follows asking him what the hell is he doing. The two find Toriel, who is on the process of trying to destroy the Ruins' exit.
Kongo protests, asking why is she doing this. Toriel says that she does not want another human to die down here. To which Kongo is confused, admittedly, he doesn't know much about humans, and didn't know that there was one... And that's when it clicks to him. Paper steps forward, and Toriel asks if he really wants to go home so badly, to which Paper nods. Toriel frowns, and so, the Toriel fight begins.
The fight goes about the same as the UT counterpart, except Kongo is not really saying anything, which is odd, considering he's been all chatty up to this point. They eventuaelly win, and Toriel slowly dusts-- okno she stops fighting. Toriel yet again offers Paper a home in the Ruins, to which Paper rejects it, obviously. Understanding, Toriel asks Kongo if he'd like her to guide him back to the Ruins, but Kongo says that is basically being Paper's body guard, so no.
Before she leaves, she gives Paper one last thing: the Snail Hammer, which is a brown-ish wood hammer with a snail pattern on the sides. She apologizes for it being worn out, but it may come in handy for Paper. Afterwards, she heads back into the Ruins.
-Aftermath-
Kongo asks Paper if he really is a human, to which he nods. He then asks if he's going to start another war with monsters, Paper shakes his head, and actually speaks up. "I'm just trying to go back to the surface." Kongo is surprised at this, but then replies "We'll, we've been trying to do that for generations. How about we do it together, then?"
From this point, there’s the option to return and utilize the hammer to break some walls and stones that contain some stuff that wasn’t accesible before, and possibly talk to Toriel, but here they don’t do that, so...
The two head off of the Ruins, Flowey is in the room right before Snowdin, and he's all like "Well golly! It looks like you found a new friend! Now just for how long do you think you'll be able to hold on without them when they inevitably leave you alone?"
Kongo basically throws a magic fly at Flowey, which causes him to bury down and leave for the time being. "What a prick." Kongo says, as he reassures Paper that he's not leaving him any time soon.
The two leave the Ruins, and go onto snowdin.

anyway since all the flowers on Genichiro’s cloak are associated with autumn and real talk, don’t know what season the game is set in (Mt. Kongo says autumn, but Mt. Kongo is weird and has a certain degree of timelessness to it that I don’t trust to be accurate (aka look at all the surrounding mountains being snowy like Ashina is vs. how untouched Mt. Kongo is)
and the fact his cloak is SO worn out (yeah it’s bloody and torn, but the actual color and designs are fading it’s just that old)
he probably received that cloak in the fall (because patterns on clothing are Serious Business) and it’s either the only nice piece of clothing he ever received (bc Ashina as a whole is wayyyy fuckin poor) or the only remnant of a more prosperous time, and so he wears it even now, even if it’s off season (which it may or may not be) (alternately it is indeed autumn but even his changing of appropriate design due to season is ultimately in vain bc yeah he’s doing it, but his cloak is so old is there really even a point to the decorum now???)
birthdays weren’t really celebrated in japan until like.... straight up mid 1900s if i remember correctly, but will that stop me from making headcanons? no.
