Based on the rhyhtm platforming game Mad Rat Dead (CHECK IT OUT IT’S SO GOOD)

Pedro''s best friend is named Kate and they study occult science among other things

Pedro was born with a weak heart and couldn't do much exercise because of it

He was still sent on jobs though

After The Incident, he ran away to Kate's place

But the strong emotions he was feeling at the moment and his mad dash throughout the whole city sapped all his strength and he died of cardiac arrest on Kate's doorstep

Kate got so desperate to save him that they summoned a powerful dark God for help

The God agreed to bring Pedro back to life on one condition: since Pedro's original heart was so weak, Kate had to sacrfice themselves to become Pedro's new heart

Kate agreed and thus got turned into a functional heart, but with all their memories intact

The God got a little lazy on the medical accuracy though, so it made everything cartoonish

When Pedro wakes up, he's... confused to say the least

He doesn't remember much, apart from being angry at a group of people, running away until he felt a sharp pain in his chest and passing out at Kate's house

He has no clue why he has a massive painless hole in his chest, why his heart is suddenly able to float in said hole and also able to talk, why his heart is playing a goddamn bop that he can't stop moving to, and why he suddenly has the power to affect his own perception of time

He just knows that Kate brought him back to life but now they're missing

Kate calls themselves Heart, they do not want to reveal their identity to Pedro

Pedro is the only one able to hear Heart's music

Hearing a song whose BPM is too drastically different from Heart's BPM makes him nauseous

The songs that Heart plays can influence his behavior; a slow song will relax him while a more fast-paced one will make him more hyper and aggressive

Not the MRD art thing BUT it involves FNF MRD and Madness Combat so I will count it halfway from the other post

ok so recently I’ve been listening to a lyrical cover of Sacrifice this one specifically:

And I’ve been looping and I am here to bring y’all a cool ass concept. At least to me.

Say instead of the MadRat and Heart Dying at the end of the day after beating Rat God, for some reason they get teleported to Nevada (They save Jack and the Girl before hand I’m not a monster) and through some nonsense involving the Improbability drive or something and get extended lifespans by like 10 years or something along with becoming Bigger (MR 2 1/2 feet Heart the Cat 3 1/2), although they learn that the Auditor is gonna nuke Nevada within 72 hours and they gotta escape fast and apparently Rat “God” somehow has manifested in the real world with real Godly Powers via another Improbability Drive or something. Fast forward to the Final day and they found a Cargo Van on its way out of that hell zone but as they escape Tricky comes flying in with Rat God ready to run their shit. Cue Sacrifice.Flp. It’s just mainly MRD gameplay with a demonic clown and an awakened god.

Now here’s where the lyrics come in: Mad Rat and Heart take the Role of Deimos with Mad rat singing and Fighting and Heart providing music, while Rat God and Tricky take the role of Bf Gf and Pico. The first half has Tricky in his normal form but after a bit of time he switches to his Expurgation form with Rat God summoning Hallucinations and other things. Now in Sacrifice.Flp there’s an Animation Deimos does along with the Audio “Come on! DO IT!”.

Now imagine: The fight is getting intense and hope is seeming lost until mad rat says COME ON DO IT! And:

RIPS HIS OWN DAMN HEART OUT! so he just has his own Heart outside of him (not Heart he’s watching is surprise and slight awe and a bit of terror) and is seemingly fighting harder than ever with his heart comnected to him still via blood vessels Floating like Heart once did. Then time stops but instead of going backwards it fast forwards time to where the nuke is gonna land in 5 minutes. Finishing off the insane duo Heart and Mad Rat make their grand escape leaving Rat God and Tricky stuck in Nevada as a Giant Nuke goes off. Heart and MR cuddle together ignoring the explosion behind them cause cool guys don’t look at explosions.

Mad Rat Miriam

ok aside from this post basically. the combo means that miriam has a much longer time period that mad rat and instead of the entire world ending it's just her. audrey is basically herding her towards a cat and i feel like she's actually pretty violent before bard is like 'NOOO STOP IT'

bard may have been a cat but they're very nice and would not kill anyone. because that is mean and they are NOT mean. they may have been a stray but they'd always just beg for scraps from humans instead and give them the wettest eyes if they try to feed them a mouse.

mim is also still very distant from other people bc yeah she's still a lab rat and she's learned to not be too attached to other ppl and beside she's already alienated bc she's Weird. so bard is really the first time she's been friends with someone and the fact that she's going to die upsets her deeply. but she's glad she got to meet this stupidly nice little heart because god they're too nice but also they're so friendly and kind to her despite everything.

audrey is very much a beastie of instinct and instead of describing herself as a 'rat god' she more describes about as miriam's 'hero', 'guardian angel', whatever fits the bill for that sort of thing. even tho she very much is not and is scaring miriam into going where she wants since mim is not really a huge fan of the wish thing

a lot of the cities of wandersong is just a bunch of stray rats living and Fucking Chilling. and rat god is still a sort of legend thing but it's kind of a horror story where people go wandering into nowhere and never return.

ALSO. the heart battle is so fucking insane i bet. like bard HATES the idea of fighting miriam but they have to do SOMETHING because clearly mim isn't in her right mind. a lot of the fight is a test of patience i bet bc of this

also also! another counterpart of jack is dream king but he DOESN'T CARE about eating mim at all. lazy guy. audrey is not happy about this.

king of hearts is the main one tho since he starts drowning in place of jack and mim decides to save him!!!!!!!!

most of the monsters in general are just hallucinations

anyway miriam and bard have just this strangely similar dynamic to mad rat and heart. violence and 'be nice to people please :)' + Provider Of Beats

plus it's interesting to explore something where the person with their head on straight is bard bc you don't really equate someone happy-go-lucky like that to be the most realistic between the two! usually it's the pessimist but nah its bard this time <3

godbard au

anyway so basically i want to talk about audrey here bc she's been accused of killing bard and since she's basically forced to come along with miriam and bard she's very upset.

BUT. something very important: i feel like she believes in thought crimes.

she's always prided herself on heroism and she never really thought about it before but after some time around Normal People as a Normal Person she starts to get fucked up over her new thought patterns that she developed by being a hero

this gets even worse when bard and miriam start treating her with genuine concern and kindness because she hates them, and she's certainly thought about killing them

as people start talking abt her she becomes more self conscious and it eventually comes to a climax as she is found out and people go on a full-on witch hunt over her

she's very very prone to violence and as she realizes how fucked up her destiny to end the world is she goes into a downwards spiral as she begins to think about awful things more and more and about if she HAD killed them and watched the life drain from their eyes (and she wouldn't have even felt bad)

and if she finds her sword she only gets worse as the intrusive thoughts get worse and more within reach of being completed and she can't take it

and. um

basically i gave her ocd hours. and i feel like i'm correct <3

A/N: This takes place in my own little AU where they found and brought back Charles. Just for context. Also, things get a little spicy, but not NSFW.

Okay, let's take it back to where it started.

About two years ago, you had joined the X-Men. Yes, you, a non-mutant.

They had repeatedly tried to convince you not to, but the professor saw a great potential in you that need only manifest with the right trigger.

Regardless, you went on a myriad of missions while paired with some of the other X-Men; Cyclops, Gambit, Ice Man, Rouge, Jean Gray, Wolverine, Colossus, Shadow Cat, and most notably, our focus for this story, Beast. In other words, your crush, Dr. Hank McCoy.

Whenever it was you two on missions, you felt unbeatable, yet at the same time, exceptionally worried. Of course you were worried about your other teammates. But when it was you and Hank, your anxiety hit an all-time high. This caused you to slip up at times and even get hit yourself. That of course made Hank upset. But when you were conscious when that happened, you saw him unleash an almost primal rage on the enemy, namely the MRD soldiers that showed no remorse for what they did to you.

There were a couple times when the MRD captured you and tortured you for info on the professor and the X-Men. You didn't talk and were nearly killed for it. But who came to your rescue? Hank. Alone. No plan, no fancy displays, just bulldozing through the hoard of soldiers and guards. And when he left with you in tow, he carried you bridal style, like a cliche action hero carrying their love interest after a big rescue mission.

But the anxiety of the battlefield and getting kidnapped is easily trounced by the social anxiety you felt when it was just you and Hank in a more laid back situation. Namely when you were in his lab.

No matter how long it had been since you had first developed your crush on him, you still felt insecure about opening up. But you already knew that Charles would've read your mind to find out, but he respected your wishes and kept quiet.

Back to present day however.

You were just sitting in the lab, unsure of what to say or do since he was busy and you didn't feel like interrupting his work. Besides, even if you did want to talk, you couldn't think of what to talk about since you were always so afraid to spend any amount of time with him outside of missions. So you just played with your hair and thumbs somewhat awkwardly. That was until he spoke up.

Hank: "If you have something that you feel must be said, speak it. There's no need to be so shy with me, my friend."

His kind words of encouragement only made you even more nervous than before. You dared not move or speak, fearing that you would say or do something inappropriate.

But he surprises you first by standing up from his desk and then swiftly pulling you close to his chest.

Hank: "I'm not oblivious to your feelings, sweetheart."

He gently caresses your cheek and plants a soft kiss on your lips. An action that you never thought he'd do for you.

In that one moment you felt a storm of emotions take you all at once. Relief, bliss and ecstasy. Finally, after nearly two years, he noticed your feelings, acknowledged them and reciprocated them. You felt whole.

You held each other closer and kissed again. This time it was a longer, deeper, more passionate kiss.

One of his hands held you by the waist and the other on the back of your head, gently caressing it.

His tongue was pushing against yours in a one-sided struggle for dominance. His coming out on top.

Your hands however were too preoccupied feeling up his torso, starting at the waist and going up. First passing his solid six pack abs, then higher before stopping to caress and scratch his rock hard pecs that were still visible underneath his green shirt.

He instinctively and hastily removes his lab coat and pins you to the wall, one arm resting against it and above your head. While the other slid up your torso, only he went inside your shirt.

You could feel his furry hand and the razor sharp claws slid up until stopping at your middle section.

The combination of both of your moans through your kissing filled the room with a hot and heavy atmosphere. You couldn't help yourself and squeezed his pecs hungrily before having them crawl up to scratch his cheeks and mutton chops.

But eventually, you two pulled away from each other to give yourselves some air. Leaving you two gasping and panting, out of breath.

You then shared a quick peck on your lips and hugged each other.

Hank: "I love you."

Y/N: "I love you too, Hank."
