I haven't seen Mr. Moto yet, but my friends told me one by one ...Ok, ok, maybe I will watch this movie in the future.
Anyway, I drew my first impression of Moto, and I marked the English translation in red font.(Most of the above words are teasing.)
He looks really silly ...and cute..

Every time I see Peter Lorre in this shape, I feel mixed. But he's cute, but I really don't like him as an Asian, so I struggle to see this series of movies every day.But he's cute, but this makeup ...👿😇👿😇👿😇

Peter Lorre characters on the Internet:
Dr. Gogol: This incel definitely has a Deviantart account. He would rapidly become an infamous lolcow all over the Internet, with his disturbing and badly drawn artwork, and deranged incel rants.
Ugarte: A beloved forum troll who livened up an online community with his amusing joke posts, until the day he was viciously banned by the anal mods...who allowed literal Nazis to remain on the same forum, because "free speech." The forum regulars still talk to this day about what utter bullshit his ban was, and how much they miss his hilarious posts.
Joel Cairo: A drama queen of either YouTube or Tumblr or both, he'd run a classy blog or channel for antique and vintage fashion, punctuated by mouth-foaming rants against people or things that irritate him.
The Baron: A more successful troll than Ugarte, juggling two different troll accounts on the same forum. One account is an utterly ridiculous cartoonish idiot, while the other is a melancholy emo edgelord. Everyone is shocked to learn that they're the same guy.
Mr. Moto: An expert hacker based in Japan.
Berger: The site's resident neo-Nazi who pleasures himself to photos of roadkill. The regs celebrated his long overdue ban.
Johnny West: He's only mildly surprised to learn that he has an Only Fans account and has made quite a lot of money off of it.
Cornelius Leyden: An avid fanfic writer obsessed with one specific historical murderer. As his research takes him deeper down the rabbit hole, he begins to lament on his blog about how conflicted he is regarding his problematic obsession. He continues typing even as Dimitrios has a gun to his head, and angrilly smacks the gun away when Dimitrios interrupts him.
Marius: An expert hacker who's sensitive fingers definitely have an Only Fans account.

Definitely a Mr. Moto, though which one I do not know. I've been thinking recently that I should revisit those. He's so damn good in them.

Peter Lorre Comic (Mr. Moto)
Tumblr media
This scan comes from this post, which holds no other explanation. The blog itself seems to draw its material from a real (?) British periodical...or something...named Polypus.
Tumblr media
I'd love to see if the Mr. Moto panel above comes from a full comic, or at least a full storyline.
I found a British newspaper search site (the full periodicals sites all seem to need credentials), but after sifting through a fair few references of "Adenoids and Polypus," I have a new band name but no other information.
=======================
Adenoids & Polypus
Barely a year after Adenoids & Polypus had a sleeper hit with their first album, NAP APNEA, everyone's favorite Korean-Irish folk-fusion septet has released an EP with three new interpretations of their hit single, "Pre-Malignant Glottis." =========================

A fanart from Get Some a fic by @flippyspoon
I had so much fun drawing this! It was a perfect opportunity to put Spock in a dynamic pose for once.
Bonus, some process art below :
- the first research reading the fic to check on clothes (where you can admire the funny typos)
Tumblr media
- the sketch, I still love it!

I love this!
I never expected to enjoy the Mr Moto movies as much as I have. Delightful and unexpected. Peter Lorre made the absolute best of his assigned casting. The first one in the series where you aren't quite sure whose side he is on...
(I do wish Hollywood had been more imaginative and just...created a detective for him to play.)
