So, right after Izzie is Doom-Domed, Oz says something that very well could either be a genius bit of subtle storytelling, or just a minor oversight in the writer’s room.

Basically, when the Dream Chasers are talking about what to do until they get Izzie back, Oz repeats:

“Izzie’s missing!”

-a few times.

Thing is: Oz only ever refers to Izzie by her full name, Isabel, he’s one of the few characters to do so. So either this was an oversight since it’s one instance in the who knows however many other times Oz says Izzie’s name, or it’s an incredible bit of subtly showcasing how being inside the Doom Dome is affecting Oz’s mental state in the Waking World.

Things I wanna see second half of season 2 in Lego dreamzzz:

More Logan beast crafting. Like I didn’t even realise that was his power until this season he was so bad at it. But like… him learning to control it… which will probably involve him getting a handle on his emotions cause they are definitely tied.

More Logan and Astrid.

Mr Oz getting increasingly frustrated with being trapped in a dome (every time you go to sleep you are trapped in a small area with everyone from work I find this terrifying)

Night Hunter dealing with being in an enclosed space with literally all his enemies. Something like ‘well I’m a man with nothing to lose EVERYBODY FIGHT ME’. Royce or Mr Oz or someone in charge being ‘no this is not a good idea’.

Mr Oz and Beau getting in a shouting match/argument over all the water under the bridge. Bonus if it ends up being (legitimately) angry disappointed boomer vs. angry disenchanted millennial flavoured.

Mateo pointing out they literally have no choice but to let the Brooklyn branch deal with things now ( the fact the show set this up so that after Royce was so dismissive they now have no choice but to depend on and support the Brooklyn kids is pure gold)

More detail on what went down when Beau betrayed them. Because I realise that bit of the story was told by Mr Oz but he wasn’t actually there for it he woke to help Hannah. Did Beau just straight up give the Nightmare King the sword and swear his allegiance??? Did he try to fight him with the sword and he failed and have to improvise? Did he make a deal with him in exchange for the sword???

Zoey was one of those sephora kids because Miya dragged her into it 😭😭 Actually not all that much it was mostly Miya who was one but zoey was somewhat into it LMAO. I think about their past friendship quite a bit actually.

Mateo has ARFID and emetophobia (fear of vomiting) because i said so. This is canon to me. it causes him to avoid parties and festivals like the plague because he cannot stand even looking at food that freaks him out 😢 Hes working on it though trust 🙏🙏

Mr. Oz has a glass eye on his right eye (the one with the eyepatch in the dream world) This is also #real to me !!

So, before I go to bed, just wanna say how much I unironically love how Dreamzzz does the dynamic between Oz and Albert. Like, if you look at their relationship, you can tell Albert is the logical half, but that doesn’t mean he’s a stereotype of “all logic all the time”, he’s got his own feelings, opinions, and personality, but he’s a lot better at keeping said feelings in check for the sake of the mission than Oz is, whose emotions quite frequently get the better of him. Albert keeps Oz in check, but he doesn’t try to squander Oz’s feelings either, and often feels the same way as him about a given topic/situation, but he can put that aside and helps Oz do so.

– Не дививсь так ніби я збираюся це робити – Гантер закотив очі. Він помовчав з секунду і продовжив відвівши погляд. Оз міг вловити слабку нервозність, якби до��ре це не було приховано – просто.. це було б легше. Страх завжди керує людьми і їх снами легше, ба більше ця емоція просто сильніше і..

– Гантер, – Оз прірвав його, ненавмисно грубо – це неетично

– Я знаю! – той різко обернув голову на друга, підіймаючи руки в обороному жесті – До того ж це не вартує зусиль.

Гантер додав частину тихіше, можливо він навіть не планував щоб Освальд це почув. Тиша планувала пару секунд, у яких, невідомо для Гантера, Оз сперичався сам з собою, і, врешті решт, піджавши губи запитав обережним голосом.

– Що ти маєш на увазі?

– Га? А це.. – Гантер розгублено кліпнув а потім пожав плечима – Керувати кошмарами майже напевно значило б відмовитись від піску. Страх надто далеко від гарних емоцій, це просто.. не спрацює. Теоретично принані.

– І ми не дуже хочемо перевіряти

– Так, – Гантер хмикнув складаючи руки за головою – в мене бажання немає точно

Оз повернувся до свого заняття, тиша почала трохи давити. Він закусив губу, нервова енергія сперичалася в середині із наївною довірою танцюючи навколо одного конкретного питання. Прекрасне розуміння друга, насправді, тільки погіршувало ситуацію. Освальд, тільки на цей момент, хотів би знати його меньше.

– Але, теоритично.. – Освальд не обернувся, але і справу продовжити не міг. Він зібрав голос настільки легковажним наскільки міг – Якби ти міг би, без ризику, керувати кошмарами, ти б це зробив?

Тяжку мовчання у відповідь змусило Оза зрозуміти що тон був недостатньо легковажним.

– Ми цього не дізнаємось – Гантер сказав, граючи краще ніж Оз. Можна було б навіть повірити в це як у відповідь, а не уникання.

– Але якби? – Освальд не знав навіщо він наполягав.

– ..що ти хочеш почути від мене? – Гантер сказав майже грубо, роздратовано поворушившись на місці.

Освальд, можливо, хотів би наполягати далі, сильніше, грубіше. Якби він думав що цю жахливу ідею можна змінити, якби він вірив що Гантер прислухається до речей, які він пропонує і згоден би був зробити якби тільки мав певні умови. Можливо він міг би вбити тому в голову наскільки це аморально.

Але Освальд знає Гантера. Він знає що той прекрасно розуміє про що він каже, зі всіма наслідками яке це несе, зі всіма впособами як це може бути неетичним і аморальним, окрім очевидних, багато краще за будь кого. Освальд іноді ненавидів свої знання.

These are all from different points in time, but when making them I was on the fence about sharing as I didn't really interact with other Dreamzzz fans. Post-season two I fear I am in too deep to not yap. This show has my heart so take a sona intro page that was meant to mimic the format of the Dreamchasers' S1 profiles, a much more recent but still pre-season-2 doodle page with my dream creature buddy and possible hourglass, and the og concept doodles I did back when I first finished season one.

Brain: yap about eye color headcanons Me: ... ok?

So um eye color headcanons for the dreamzzz guys! But over the top because I'm a weird little writer guy-

Mateo: green! green eyes that seem to sparkle with gold like they're infused with dream sand, that can be hard like emeralds when he is focused and determined, or that can be soft in a way that similar to squishiness of Z-Blob, yet they can also be green like the clouds of the Murky Realm when Mateo finds himself feeling lost and alone

Izzie: green! a green that can be happy and inviting reminding one of the beauty of nature but eyes that can also reflect the wild side of nature, the destruction that can be caused and of wildfires that can start that match with the undying fire and protective streak within Izzie's own bones.

Cooper: brown! brown eyes that people usually sterotype as boring and bland they're not that only seem to match his "unremarkable - ness" yet that are thoughtful and owlish, intensely filled with curiosity and a twinkle of insanity, but it is also a brown that can be filled with utter fear like a cornered animal, or seemingly spark with red electricity when he is truly pissed

Logan: a blue-ish gray! just like Logan's shapeshifting ability in the dream world Logan's eyes always seem to be swirling into new shades of grey or blue like they simply can't decide what color to be, additionally they also seem to be the most expressive being able to mimic the likes of different animals; the wildness of free creatures, the happiness of a dog's, the focused look of predator, and more

Zoey: brown! a broken brown that's seen more betrayal and fear than a girl her age should know, but that still hold an intense strength and ferocity that make any facing her down question their life decisions, if you look closely however you can still see a caringness in them that let you know that if you're on her side she'll always have your back

Astrid: a goldish brown! fierce and competitive eyes that spark with golden pride somewhat like a lion's, yet that can shift into a look of a girl who wonders about the amazing and wild world outdoors, or the sure-fire look of a girl who has made you walk yourself right into a trap

Mr. Oz: blue! an almost darker-ish blue that speaks of worlds unknown, of space above that stretches for light years, blue eyes that yearn for more peaceful days and lives long lost or forgotten, and that seem to shaky and uneasy at times like he's fearing what he's forgotten yet that can quickly bounce back in to unwavering faith

Beau: blue! a light blue of endless sky's above yet that also seem shattered like glass that can never quite be fixed, but also a blue that flashes with mischievousness that you aren't quite sure if it means he's thought of yet another prank or knows exactly what makes you tick, yet later this blue becomes more of a purple that whispers of the corruption of the Nightmare King
