Okay but like what if Jimmy's parents like noticed little things about his friend Timmy? Like I imagine it'd be Jimmy's mom who notices things first.

It's just a normal day, her 11 year old son has brought home a friend from a different area who introduced himself as Timmy Turner. And she gives him a look over and something just sets her mom instincts off. Like there's a nagging feeling in the back of her head but she pushes it down because she just met this boy and she doesn't want to embarrass Jimmy. But she keeps a closer eye on him. And it's because of this Jimmy's mom notices a few things.

Timmy's always hungry. Kid can't get enough food and rarely ever turns down a meal if offered. It kinda startles her how much he'll eat sometimes. She also notices these pale marks on him, like he'd been in a horrible fall or something. She notices that if Jimmy's mad at Timmy, he'll get defensive and then slowly go quiet. As if he's used to these kinds of things. Though Jimmy's always quick to apologize shortly afterwards. Mrs. Neutron doesn't want to assume things, but God it's hard when she sees these little things.

Mr. Neutron on the other hand is slower on putting it together. But it's during one of Jimmy and Timmy's sleepovers that Mr. Neutron notices it. How tense Timmy gets whenever he gets a bit too close. Or how he seems to keep an eye on the adult and is extra careful with things. As if he's afraid of breaking something and upsetting him. Mr. Neutron will notice how if a noise is too loud Timmy will jump or yelp in surprise.

Mr. and Mrs. Neutron notice these things and a few more. And they can't help but feel a bit saddened at Timmy's reactions sometimes. Especially when they say something nice to him or praise him for something. It's like it takes a moment for him to process the genuine sincerity of their words. And they somehow know that Jimmy knows what's going on, why he's always seeming to be glued to Timmy's side, not just because he liked him and enjoyed being around him.

The Neutrons never really push either, not wanting to make Timmy uncomfortable or make Jimmy upset with them in trying to intervene in an obvious delicate situation. But if they keep an extra blanket and pillow in their hallway closet in case Timmy stops by for a surprise visit, or if they take the time to learn what foods he likes and that he's allergic to oranges. Or they keep the pantry a bit fuller to feed another mouth. Then it's for them to know and no one else.

Nega Timmy: Right, Well… You have to complete a residency at a hospital to become a physician. But the funds for hiring residents are provided by the U.S. government. So the number of available residency programs (thus doctors)… is decided by congress’ budget.

Plankton: So not only did they already do our evil thing… they did it in a more sinister and subtle way.

Nega Timmy: Basically.

Vlad: I’m not sure if we should be proud of our country or disgusted by it.

Nega Timmy: Maybe Both?

Calamitous: Seems as though We’ll have to do some truly despicable to defeat the U.S. government. In that case, we’ll make sure that the only people who can even afford healthcare are the ones who work for companies that benefit our economic interests!

Fractureverse Thing: It takes a little over a year for Timmy's parents to find out that he's the leader of the UDDF, despite the fact that it's very much public knowledge (seriously, he's regularly mentioned on the news)... and the fact that he's straight-up told them multiple times.

By contrast, Hugh and Judy Neutron are fully aware from the start about Jimmy's role in the war against the Mawgu, and as long as he stays as safe as he can (this includes having Goddard with him at all times) and remembers to check in with them they're mostly okay with him staying in Dimmsdale since that's where his skills are most needed, and Jack and Maddie straight-up joined the UDDF alongside Danny.

My Plants!!! [in pot height order, ignore the shotty editing]

Mr. Silly Goofy

this is Mr. Silly Goofy. He's the original, he started out as a small lil offshoot of another succulent, and now he's his own lil guy! [I refer to Mr. Silly Goofy using He/Him pronouns.]

He's been a bit busy producing a new leaf. I think he may be a Kalanchoe Dwarf Hybrid, since afaik he's similar to some Kalanchoe succulents, but he has his own distinct features.

The lil pink cup you see in the background is his old pot. I actually recently repotted him! Also, he has a lil bead. It wasn't in his original pot, but when I repotted my narcissus, one of the beads fell into the potting mix.

he also used to have a name tag! I mean, he still has it, but since the pink cup will be repurposed, i figured I might as well tape the ol' nametag to the bottom of his lil well-plate.

Jimmy Carter Hughes-Neutron

The Aloe Vera! His name is Jimmy "Jimney" Carter Hughes-Neutron. [naming like this will continue with my other plants.]

Amusingly, the Jimmy Carter name came from a friend BEFORE he died, so it's mostly unrelated to his death. I bought him for $5 from a plant sale. He's the only one I haven't repotted! [Also use He/him for 'em.]

The lil Q-Tip is because the day I bought him, I was hanging out with a friend, and we were doing art together. There were some q-tips lying in the open, and I was like: "...Lil sword."

So I grabbed the Q-tip and stuck it in his pot. It used to be at the edge of the pot, but I actually moved it inwards today to act as a sort-of stake, since the guy was leaning pretty severely [he was at a 45° angle, literally.]

He also has a new little sprout! [lil yellow thing.]

Narcissus :]

THE NARCISSUS!!! I've had him for such a long while and I've yet to give him a name! Quite a shame, honestly. I think he rather quite likes this pot! He has a few beads with him too from his old one so he didn't completely ditch his roots! :]

If you guys have any name suggestions, let me know! [I use he/him for the guy :3]

Drogas Queso Lacey Nerve-Plant

Last but [Certainly] not least, Mr. Drogas Queso Lacey Nerve-Plant!!!! Yes, he has like 2 first names that are in spanish [Drugs and Cheese], but who cares!!!! [If you've noticed, all my plants use he/him.]

This is actually him before & after I pruned him. Unfortunately, I forgot to water him for a bit, and he... well, you can see how much I trimmed.

He was actually the second plant I got! First was Mr. Silly Goofy! I got this lil guy at a local fair I performed at! [I also saw some live axolotls there, which was nice :3]

I'm hoping he'll bounce back, he's still a bit green at the bottom so he's not completely gone!

Anyways, despite my tactile botanophobia, I am taking care of them! They are thriving! [Well, except Drogas, but.... I'm trying.]

I keep 'em all near the window in my kitchen, which is curtained, but it faces roughly the south, so the sun rises there, and there's a decent amount of light that comes in during the day!

I also keep any animals away from them. I learned the hard way when my stepmom's dog, Stryder, knocked over Mr. Silly Goofy within like a week of having him [Mr. Silly Goofy]. Was not a good time, but he's doing alright now!
