mr harrington who’s a scientist at hawkins lab. doctor harrington who made his pregnant wife an mk ultra experiment. dr harrington who gladly hands his baby over to dr brenner the second he is born.

007 who grows up with his dad as his main assigned researcher. being poked and prodded and tested and tased and tortured, all while his father stands next to dr brenner behind a glass pane, taking notes on his clipboard.

007 who lashes out when told his mother is dead. he knows she’s alive. somewhere. he can feel her. 007 who begins to lash out at anyone who comes close. they are the bad guys. they took him from her.

007 who kills a guard and steals his key ring to sneak 008 out. though he’s stopped before he can follow. he cannot wander free. but he cannot be here anymore.

a small device is implanted in his neck. hooked up to several wires to his brain, his memories are stolen, replaced with new ones. with fake ones. ones of a father who always travels for work and a mother who follows to keep an eye on his secretary, yet still somehow manages to keep a name for herself.

he does not question waking up in a bland, plaid room. no emotion, no personality in the space. it is normal to him. it is all he knows. this is steve’s room. it always has been.

The one from heartstopper is canon they are a couple, the one from far from home is a ship that probably only exists in my own head.

My brain Does Not Want to Work right now (I’m running on, like, negative sleep and less coffee than I need) but I was reading fics and I realized something. And I need someone to write it, please.

Peter Parker’s teacher is called Mr. Harrington. I can’t remember if we get a first name or if he’s just Mr. Harrington.

And we all know how in like 85% of fics, Steve Harrington ends up as a teacher.

Steve Harrington, who knows the look in his own eyes in the mirror, in Eddie’s eyes, in the Party’s eyes.

Steve Harrington, who sees the same look in Peter Parker’s eyes. Who sees Peter rushing into class, almost-late, saved-by-the-bell, too many tardies mysteriously explained away.

Steve Harrington, who has a soft spot for Peter, because he knows what ‘mysteriously explained away’ means, and considers contacting Owens, because why the fuck are they using goddamn kids again.

Peter Parker, who likes Mr. Harrington because he doesn’t ask questions, just smiles kindly at him when he rushes in almost-late, when he accidentally falls asleep in class only to jerk awake at the bell.

Peter Parker, who considers confiding in Mr. Harrington, because he recognizes the look in his eyes, he knows what it means, and surely this wouldn’t be the craziest thing he’s ever heard if his eyes already look like that.

Speaking of my godsverse au, anyone have any thoughts about who Steve's Mom is competing against to be the one who chose who Steve marries?

(Not in the sense that they're actually choosing for steve, more like they are betting on an eligible bachelorette and working behind the scenes to try and give their candidate a leg up over the competition, with or without the candidates knowledge or consent)

It can't be Steve's dad, because he's quite firmly in the camp that Steve shouldn't settle down too early and should be free to date around for as long as possible (much to steve's mom's disapproval).

I was thinking maybe one of Steve's sisters... but that doesn't feel right either. The dynamic is just not what I'm looking for. (I think it could be a fun character exploration exercise to think about who they each would have backed if they had backed anyone though so i might do that just for funsies)

Maybe Steve's aunt (father's sister)? She's Tommy's mom in this au and it could be a fun dynamic to have her use Tommy to try to push Steve towards her choice. And she does not like Steve's mom, so that could give her some motivation....

I think I answered my initial question xD If anyone has any other ideas though I'd love to hear them. Or if anyone has any thoughts on who Steve's aunt should be betting on. I already have Steve's Mom's pick figured out.

(Steve doesn't go with either of these options. But I think Steve's mom's pick is more similar to who he actually ends up with.)

Mr Harrington seeing/treating Peter like his son.Ever since he said he saw Peter like his son who was also his little brother I've been CRAVING Dad!Harrington. I find them really cute and silly and I need some in my life.

steddie fake dating au that starts because robin’s mom keeps pushing for her and steve to get together and robin gets so fed up that she yells, “it’s not gonna happen because some people are gay, mom!”

and upon seeing the utter horror and fear on her face, steve swoops in and says he’s the one who’s gay. cue mr. and mrs. buckley, local hippies, attempting to show how supportive they are, and all the while steve gets eddie to agree to fake date to get the buckleys to prove they’re safe, so that robin will feel comfortable enough to come out to her parents.

thinking about steve in that first scene in nancys bedroom back in season one. thinking about how goofy and flirty and charming and playful he was being. thinking about him being like that with eddie, and how eddie would react to that version of steve. the whole talking in a silly voice, acting as that stuffed bear, the whole “bad steve :( don’t do that to miss nancy :( “ and “you are beautiful nancy wheeler”.

eddie plays dnd, even more so, he DMs dnd games, he stands up on tables in cafeterias and makes big theatrical scenes to rant about issues he has strong stances on — that man knows how to put on a show, and enjoys to watch one too. see: immediately accepting erica into hellfire as a replacement after seeing her go on one of her tangents, showing off her attitude and how she isn’t afraid to get in your face to get her way. he LOVESS that shit. lives for it. seeks it out. so when steve starts getting like that around him he would just crumble immediately i just know it.
