Started to read your Monster Prom fanfic, A Matchmaker's Dilemma, but noticed that the epilogue hasn't been posted! Are you still working on it or was it posted somewhere else?

This is a very good ask. The answer is, I haven't finished the epilogue yet. I had writers block, then got busy, then the whole fic kinda slipped my mind.

Now that I've been reminded of it, and the fact that people are still reading my silly stories, I will actually try and finish this story. It's not big plot wise, just tying up a few loose ends. Gosh, I can't believe it's been over a year since I worked on that fic.

thinking about how kim dokja thinks he's alone in the world and there is no one in the world who understands him or can possibly understand him.

but. there yoo sangah is. yoo sangah who discusses literature with him. yoo sangah who understands kim dokja bc she is very perceptive about people and very empathetic and also bc they have the kind of friendship where words aren't needed. yoo sangah who read every book in the library about kim dokja bc she was genuinely interested in her friend's life and bc she wanted to understand him. yoo sangah who figured out it was 49 and not real kdj and figured out what he did but didn't say a word bc she understood and respected his decision even though she wanted her friend back more than anything.

yoo sangah who witnessed his mundanity and monstrosity both, and loved him either way. loves him despite every irredeemable quality he thinks he has. yoo sangah who wants to be his best friend in every lifetime and live together right next to each other. yoo sangah, his best friend who understands him without words.

- his mom smokes. obviously. and drank a bit. a bit rough around the edges. not very trustworthy of the world. she wants to strengthen her kids but is pretty torn up herself. (this is only marginally better in the non MP timeline)

- one time dakota or one of his siblings took her cigarettes to prove she didn't need them and she picked them up and shook them in the air

- he loves his mom so damn much. she calls him everyday

What the hell is up with Nami?

Not only she's adopted but also she has no connection to her birth family because the one that actually found her was a little girl who just decided to pick up this random baby. Why does she have a backstory so disconnected from her family? Is this something that was ever addressed?

She's disconnected because from context there was a war with pirates in the town where nojiko and nami were at, we know nojiko's family is dead but we don't know about nami's since nojiko saw her all alone and took her with her (assuming most were dead in this town, whoever was taking care of nami was probably gone by this point)

we never find out who her family is (but apparently oda did want to make a movie about it at some point, but then didn't?)

i wouldn't mind if there was more to her background but i'm completely fine with there not. Nojiko just didn't want to leave Nami all alone, and Belle-mere couldn't leave either of them alone so they made their family together and that's all they needed

you'll see that one of the biggest themes in one piece, is found family! nami's whole situation is just the beginning

I should put out a bounty for a fic. If someone wants to write an Oz x Polly fic along with Scott x Vicky I'll draw a cover for it. I'm not the greatest artist ever but I know my way around a tablet. Here's two examples.

even though it took like 6 years and a lot of it was and probably still is internalized homophobia mixed with insanely low self-esteem one of the main things that helped me figure out i was not a lesbian but a man attracted to women was that every time i tried to imagine dating a girl as a girl when I was younger or even when like my dad or someone would ask me if I wanted a girlfriend i would just be like yeah idk…id love to but im too ugly and, weird, and And she wouldn’t want me anyway bc I have weird teeth and smell bad and a speech impediment and i don’t really know what to do with a woman anyway and she would be able to tell and I Dont realy look like someone any woman could ever be attracted to (?) and overall I was always able to find some sort of excuse why me dating a woman while also being one wouldn’t work.
