I drew this at the end of my day (a week or so ago), whilst watching a rubbish movie (The Crow remake). This is the cable for an old Mac Mini we have, which I was trying to revive, because my wife’s laptop conked out…Apple said it would be more than Php 75,000 to fix it…yikes! watched ee-au (i like to pronounce it as an onomatopoeia) and my thoughts are as follows

joy/jobu was legendary. makeup and costuming was legendary and especially for joy/jobu. i wish this could have been the joy/jobu movie.

acting was also 🙌 very good. really glad the actors got their accolades, beyond angry that hsu was served dust in favor of a white woman, and forever wondering when we will free everyone's minds from the shackles of the oscars

the actual concept and execution of the movie was somewhat floppy and lacking backbone to me. SO many little pieces and SO many themes that could have been amazingly compelling and none of them got their full due because attention was split across dozens of moving parts. 💔
