I'm about to watch Interstellar for the first time. I'm not very science smart, so someone tell me if I'm gonna be able to understand it please 😭🙏🏿

watched ee-au (i like to pronounce it as an onomatopoeia) and my thoughts are as follows

joy/jobu was legendary. makeup and costuming was legendary and especially for joy/jobu. i wish this could have been the joy/jobu movie.

acting was also 🙌 very good. really glad the actors got their accolades, beyond angry that hsu was served dust in favor of a white woman, and forever wondering when we will free everyone's minds from the shackles of the oscars

the actual concept and execution of the movie was somewhat floppy and lacking backbone to me. SO many little pieces and SO many themes that could have been amazingly compelling and none of them got their full due because attention was split across dozens of moving parts. 💔

People go on about Die Hard not being a Christmas movie, but I watched that and It's A Wonderful Life yesterday and they both have about the same amount of Christmas stuff in them. Just saying lol

that's partly a reflection based on having looked at the various kinds of fandom bloggers that leave unnecessary commentary on posts. when you get down to it media's the only thing they've really got going on

no tbh i think jay and tim are introspective types .. lots of "oh im gonna smoke and listen to an album" they like to do big thinking ... alex is a moviewatcher and a yapper to me. he has his stoner flicks that he thinks are good and the ones he likes but thinks are bad and he will talk the whole time abt why. in the right context i think it makes him horny .......... same w brian and i think hes also a yapper. mostly a social funnys guy. he gets funnier and he laughs more

honestly in general i am very much a #fake horror fan there are so many horror movies i have still yet 2 watch but in my defense i didn't really start watching movies as like a Hobby until this year i was a casual moviewatcher. and i still have a low capacity for this sort of thing so i only watch like one movie a week anyway. but trust me if i was the type of guy who could watch like a movie every day i would be doing that
