Are the movie police gonna come for my throat if I make a "Found footage" list that also includes a few mocumentary type movies?

Cus some of the things coming up when I search found footage aren't all fully just, "those footage was found in blah blah blah after this strange event" and more so "were investigating after this weird thing happened" and a few have large parts filmed in the typical movie way on tripods or with ppl ignoring the camera... idk how I feel about including them...

Tempted to keep digging for more that are basically 100% first person but its weirdlt difficult... maybe i should hunt for some small youtube or film school films as well? thoughts and suggestions are appreciated 🖤🧡

My Favorite Movie Countdown 2023 Edition #17: The Secret World of Arrietty, 2012 Directed by Hiromasa Yonebayashi

Perhaps an uncommon pick for a Ghibli favorite, it is absolutely my favorite Studio Ghibli film. It tells a slightly more muted story than some of the other more popular Ghibli movies, and I revel in that. I love the idea of sharing your home with tiny people who just want to exist, and who fear being found out. I like the cooperation we see between Arrietty and Sho (Shawn), and the hopeful note the movie ends on. The visuals are gorgeous, and the details in things like water tension when viewed on a smaller scale is really fun.

My Favorite Movie Countdown 2023 Edition #12: The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya, 2010 Directed by Tatsuya Ishihara

I’ve always been a little disappointed that this fantastic movie has such a boring poster! If you didn’t know anything about Haruhi Suzumiya to begin with, I doubt this picture of five students leaning against a wall would entice you to go watch it. I actually became interested in this movie for the first time after hearing it was, at one time, the longest animated movie of all time. I had seen a few episodes of the show, and figured it would be interesting. I WAS RIGHT. There is so much going on in this movie, from lighting and color being used to set the mood and foreshadow, to deep character dives, to complete surprises. I was enthralled and immediately decided I needed to both see the rest of the actual show, and seek out all the light novels to read as well. I was not there for the initial round of Haruhimania, but this movie still hits today.
