heyyy just wanted to say i love your malec fics (a lot -- idk if you will ever write anymore but i love them) and i've been getting into the sandman and reading dreamling fics but i haven't read them for a few months and was wondering if you have any fic recs that are like idk very soft

hopefully you do in fact mean Dreamling fic recs (I also haven't read any Malec in ages) and so I will recommend:

(I feel the need to clarify that I sadly did not offer to suck his dick, I just internally lost my shit.) It was truly ridiculous and the closest I've ever come to taking a creeper shot of someone because I KNEW no one would believe me. "People aren’t allowed to be that hot in real life it’s supposed to be airbrushing" is a direct quote from the series of hysterical DMs I was sending @celeritas2997 while I tried to stay cool. It was also Cee's birthday and I didn't know what if anything I was gonna write her and then I got back from the barber and was looking at this series of messages and was like... wait.

I feel like enough time has passed that I can fess up to that ridiculous backstory lol.

i present to you: alex meeting henry for the second time and his subsequent conversation about it with the mysterious H

As he walks into the classroom, he notices a seating chart on the whiteboard held up by a small magnet. His brain is only just processing that seating assignments are organized alphabetically when he reads his name, then the name next to his—Henry Fox.  “You’ve got to be fucking kidding me.” Of fucking course. Of course the one person Alex wants to avoid the most has not only chosen the same elective as him, but their last names are also next to each other alphabetically—in a class with alphabetical seating. Jesus fucking Christ.

WIP Wednesday!

Finaaally I get to post for this LMAO. It's Wednesday somewhere but for me today, too. Thanks for the tags @read-and-write-, @littlemisskittentoes, @happiness-of-the-pursuit, and @kiwiana-writes!

Sharing the longer version here because it's the most recent one I've added words onto the doc. An ongoing second part to my fic shameless plug Smoke Slow AKA my Firstprince shotgunning fic (to give everyone an immediate summary).

Alex doesn't start a counter for the days he doesn't see Henry, but he does keep a list of numbers in his mind; things he could remember on the night of Pez's party. You know, for research. The list starts with the resulting count for all the times he's kissed Henry, and had Henry kiss him back, 27. Next, the total number for every pet name that came out of Henry's pretty mouth, his tongue curling around his vowels and voice dropping in the face of pleasure, echoing repeatedly within Alex's ear tunnels, 13. Then, there's the number of times Henry clutched at his skin, held onto him, unknowingly burning Alex with every touch—pressing down the lightest of lights and the heaviest of weights Alex had engraved onto his flesh—that had ??? for it only because Alex lost count when it hit the first 50. Lastly, the accumulated amount for all the ways Henry's usually schooled expression lost its composure; twisting and painting variations of emotions on his face that had nearly caused Alex's pursuit to detach Henry's schoolboy image from the host a success; Alex had tied them into the veins that pop beneath his eyelids when he closed his eyes, a sweet 16. Suffice to say, Alex can't get Henry out of his mind.

Time to see what everyone's WIPs look like since I will always eat everything up.
