Actor!AU where Jim keeps flirting with Curly during interviews or Qna for "fanservice", nothing too weird, just saying compliments and being kinda clingy (they're not dating) Until one time he tries to kiss him on the cheek, but Curly turned around to face him, so he ended up kissing him in the corner of his lips. After the crowd goes wild and the interview ends Jim is like "Haha, sorry if that made ya uncomfortable dude, it was for the laughs" and Curly is like "AHAHA, DON'T WORRY" (he wants him so bad)

Randomly thinking of an actor au for mouthwashing.

Bloopers of Jimmy accidentally dropping post-crash Curly in the scene where he carries him and feels so bad.

Swansea replaces the prop axe with a squeaky hammer. Daisuke was not ready for that and laughed hysterically.

Daisuke yells, "Hey, I found a quarter!" while crawling in the vents.

Daisuke and Swansea both trying to eat the foam.

Pre-crash Curly runs face-first into the cockpit door after yelling at Jimmy.

Anya sneezes while "dead" because the fake blood tickles her nose.

Nervous to post this but I need to Cope!! They all exist within the video game itself, but are essentially actors that play their part for the game’s story.

Outside of when he needs to perform his role, I’d imagine that Jimmy is actually an extremely nice person who feels horrified/guilty at his ingame actions. He likes to apologize constantly for them and probably even calls himself James outside of the game to distance himself.

Maybe he plays stardew valley or minecraft with the others in their spare time…

To that one mouthwashing actor au on tiktok, where Jimmy and Curly's actors don't understand the characters (Jimmy's actor thinking Jimmy is under pressure and Curly's not understanding that the characters inaction was bad) i had to delete tiktok but dude that au is fire. The actors make the same misconceptions people make when playing the game.

Mouthwashing Actor AU

Jimmy: Jimmy Ray (a nod to him being named after a Lana Del Ray Song) Is a type cast where he’s the sweetest person to ever exist, but is extremely good at playing Villians. It be like that in the horror industry. He won’t lie though. Playing a role like this was his biggest challenge, as he would need to get into the head of a You Know What.

Curly: Curly Ray, aka Jimmy’s older brother. He was born Amelia (aka his limbs were never fully developed) and is often type casted to play monsters or characters that require a certain mobility. Much like how child/people will dwarfism play certain characters. He’s happy that he gets to play a normal person, even for a short while. (That would be explaining why we get very little screen time of Curly looking normal)

Anya: Anya Ray. She was originally Jimmy’s wife, but it was a case of lavender marriage. She needed to stay in the states to finish her schooling and he was terrified of coming out as gay. Fortunately Jimmy found his one true love and Anya ended up marrying Curly as they had bonded so much through the traumatic situation. She is a credited doctor who uses her knowledge to help make the medical scenes more real. Along with fellow actress. New to acting but not the acting society.

Daisuke: Daisuke Ray. Daisuke is the one who Jimmy fell for. He was a special effects/makeup artist (who specialized in horror) that was pretty much part of the team because of often working on whatever madness Curly would get dressed up as. He wasn’t originally meant to play a role in the show, but the director saw that all of them were extremely close and found it very important to have to convey real emotions and a sense of reality. So this is Daisukes first role, and by proxy he is rather hard to get into a serious mindset. It works in the end as his sweet and playful silly attitude leads to plenty of improve that conveys realism the director wants.

Swansea: Director Swan. He’s the one in charge of it all, and plays a role as well. More so as the background character (hence why we have more fleshing from everyone else compared to him) and wanted to convey an important and serious story. He’s a semi retired director, so he uses his time to make passion projects. That means he has more ability to follow what HE wants and not get swayed by other people’s PG needs. He saw how these four specific actors/special effects artists were already very close and it brought him the motivation to follow through on this latest passion project. Hence why they all use their real first names. A means to really hammer in this is a real story, with in its sci-fi elements.

Jimmy: My character, is mentally struggling, manipulative, and a leech. So lots of therapy needed for the thought process with him. Its honestly annoying seeing people idolize him, sure the empathy makes sense because he represents a struggling class but, if I saw him. I’m calling the cops, him hurting the medic and then trying to kill her, don’t even get me started on the statue. What was the reason? He represents how some of these kinds of people aren’t just already gross and disgusting, they could be people who are your close friends.

Anya: Jeez, you’re so self aware about him. More than, some of the fans….

Jimmy: Look hate him and like him but don’t justify his actions.

Daisuke: Damn son! My character was sorta naive but he’s smart too! He just doesn’t see it because he’s so busy following orders. Sorta like the demographic of kids, we seek leadership and want to make our parents proud!

Anya: You also cheat at games.

Daisuke: Put cho paws up girl!

Anya: My character, she’s an amazing representation of what victims go through, the loneliness, the devastation, I simply hope everyone who sees her doesn’t water her down but understand that she is brave, jubilant, mindful and super smart. Maybe in another universe everyone is happy. I hope so, I wouldn’t want Anya to remain in a world where she’s stuck in devastation.

Swansea: Heavy kid, Curly what do you-….

Curly: *sniffle* Its so beautiful.

Swansea: Eh, my character and Curly’s are sorta parallels. He knew Jimmy but not fully and didn’t do much to stop em, meanwhile Swansea did and yet he still couldn’t/didn’t do much. Thats why their eyes are gone, symbolism is at play. Just like when Swansea had to mercy kill Daisuke, tough decisions for folks like that. Especially when neither of them took Anya’s job seriously. Its a lot of circumstances and damned if ya do or damned if ya don’t for Curly and Swansea.

Curly: Oh yea I forgot! Man, they are just naive.

Swansea: Yep

Jimmy: Agreed.

Curly: The word enabling gets thrown at him too much, in the wrong conjunction. Curly enables everyone and everyone enables each other, he fails at being Captain when he first let Jimmy on the ship, sure everything was nice but at some point the mental distress, mental deterioration, it got to them. They didn’t take the psych evaluation seriously, Pony Express didn’t take them seriously. In the end Curly as a Captain failed, he failed as a friend for Anya specifically. Sure he’d be a safe person but he doesn’t take Anya’s words into consideration. It’s a lot to take in, honestly.

Anya: In the sequel, Curly hates himself to the core. He wasn’t perfect, or a good man. But he definitely isn’t a bad person, he like everyone is flawed.

Jimmy: *patting his back* Well said pal, therapy for everyone though. Because that shit was horrifying.

Crasona: Sir you can’t just be cursing!

Jimmy: My fault.

Crasona: Now, would ya’ll like it better if Jimmy didn’t exist in this game.

Curly:…So another delivery simulator slice of life?

Crasona: Shhh the fans are asking

Jimmy: Crasona get the microphone away from me.

Anya: Oh my gawd.

Daisuke: Character development flushed down the toilet!

Swansea: And folks wonder why I drink…

Continuation of actor AU, where Jimmy is once again flirting/complimenting Curly for the cameras. Only this time as Curly laughs and blushes, Jimmy’s brain goes blank as it hits him.

It’s no longer a joke and DAMN if he doesn’t want this press tour to go on forever, just so he could spend nearly every day with Curly.
