1 year since i got scammed by nintedno leaving me forever yearning for a game we will never get and an extreme worry for the future

#ganondoodles talks #zelda #dont think they will learn anything #i know its pessimistic but like #as if the critics were in any way as loud or popular as those worshipping it #i feel so bad for having contributed twice to its sales and earnings #i bought it normally (later sold that to a coworker) and the collectors #which i sold but i only got back the money a normal new one would have cost #and it was also only bc i was buying sth else and it was literally in prime condition #like he said it wouldnt matter bc he cant give me more but then even he said holy shit thats literlly like unopened lol #i mean ... most of it was never opnened xD just took the game out once and put it back once thats it #i feel extra scammed bc it was the first and only collectors edition i ever owned #and i dont think i will ever buy one again #and might regret that #i still wish i had known how much i liked botw to get its special one ... but i didnt have the money back then either way #but id rather miss out on that than spend so much money on sth i will forever regret having spend money on #and i worry for the future bc the “story is the least important part” guy and “lol you can only like the old games bc nostalgia” guy-#-being in charge of the franchise arent giving me much hope for anything better #especially after totks success

I bet the reason Riordan didn't care for the pjo show to be animated is that he couldn't have justified making all these changes to the cast and the plot that we now see in the live-action version.

Please, please, please tell me you already read tmnt 40th anniversary. Who knew that 8 pages would give so much to analyze. I had to pirate it due to not being able to access it where I live. I do hope it sells well in the US though, I really want them to bring out another one.

I have not yet, sorry.

I try to be optimistic sometimes, but let's be fucking honest with ourselves-Nickelodeon wrote Rise off the second the pilot dropped and a bunch of butthurt neckbeards review-bombed the show for being diiiiiiiiifferent from what they were used to. (they said the exact same thing in 2012, but corporations have short memories and have gotten way more scared of anything that deviates from the mold) They purposely torpedoed Rise and have done their damnedest to avoid acknowledging the movie's success, because they cannot admit they were wrong about making that call. They're not going to greenlight more Rise. They have just decided that they hate it and don't want to be associated with it anymore.

The only thing I can really hold out hope for is when Nick inevitably sells the franchise the new owners might decide to reboot it. I know that's typically not how TMNT iterations have worked-but the other series' all had real endings. They did what they wanted to do and went home. Rise was murdered before its time.

#and can i say how fucking INSANE it is that nick thought a NINJA TURTLES show wasn't worth producing #literally one of the most successful media franchises in history #with a star-studded cast who was PASSIONATE about the show they were making #like that was something i could really tell watching this everyone involved really truly enjoyed what they were doing #and nick was too scared they'd make slightly less money than just filling the air with more spongebob episodes #it's the same shit that killed the coyote movie they're just fucking terrified to the point of straight-up not running their companies #anyway i hate living through end-stage capitalism if putin is gonna nuke us i would like him to just do that and get it over with

Tampa Bay's VICTOR HEDMAN is honored in a heartfelt ceremony prior to his 1000th game in the NHL. He becomes the first Lightning defenseman and only the third player overall to play 1000 games for the club. Tampa Bay would go on to win the game 4-0 in a dominant performance in front of a raucous home crowd. HEDMAN logged over 23 minutes of ice time in the victory and was +1 to end the night as his team snapped a four-game losing streak.

i do think, aside from mercury bias, if bg had been in all season she would have been all wnba, first or at least second. i think people undervalue her because of the rebounding but she is 1000% the worst officiated player in the league, on both sides of the court. so the fact that she's been able to have the performance that she had is incredible, and that she didn't get the acknowledgment really just underscores how much people take what she does for granted.
