I have seen a bunch of positivity/appreciation/whatever for fanwriters/artists but like. remember to appreciate your scanlators/translators. like the scanlating scene is not what it used to be because the official sources have picked up lot of like. popular mangas but you still rely on scanlators etc for more niche works and... I used to do lot of scanlating and I don't think I EVER got a positive comment or any appreciation and like... at least when I write and share my unhinged fic or art I made it to amuse myself but if I am scanlating a comic I already can read it obviously so ANY work I am putting in is 100% for other people... I have literally scanlated whole-ass series because I knew ONE person read them at all and I wanted them to experience a series I liked. If people don't like your work tho why would anyone do it then?

i firmly believe simon needs someone who's very assertive in their relationship. when they have their mind set on something, it gets done. who expresses their opinions and dislike for things unapologetically, who isn't afraid to set boundaries and put him in his place with snarky quips. someone who's confident, has a fond liking for his horrible jokes, and doesn't mind his sometimes sassy attitude. who kisses him silly before they go off to work, and kisses him silly when they come back. he needs someone who's affectionate with him in small ways :( cooking together, cleaning together, and having their 'go-to' show that they refuse to watch without each other. and after seeing you during a meeting, swears that could be you :(

my friend just told me about people on tiktok using my blueberry milk cookie design, i went and looked and i found two videos by the same user, one video without credit. please do not do this!!! please ask me first, i know my ask box is closed (ill reopen it after i post this) but my DM's have always been open!!! its a design/character that's become very personal to me, yes i know it's just a concept design for a canon character but it still means a lot to me, and it makes me highly uncomfortable when people do stuff like this.

if you want to use my other art in edits that's okay! but please ask me if you want to use ANY of my designs, not just cookie run, for any reason! this is why i get nervous posting AU designs, because i'm scared stuff like this will happen, and now it has.

and of course PLEASE credit me. why do i even have to say this, it's common courtesy to credit the artists you take art from, but apparently some people don't have enough respect for artists to even do that.

fanart is completely fine with me, just please credit me (and tag me because i want to rb it)

Hey I have no idea what I’m doing but this exists now.

I have no idea how to make it findable/joinable even though it’s public. I can invite people and have been just yeeting invites at the ppl who I chat with regularly in DMs as tumblr suggest a ppl which feels very unfair since I only talk to a small section of the pensblr.

My goal when creating was to be a space for the pens lb crew/lbing pens games rather than a general pensblr space but that don’t mean shit in the long run I’m not here to gatekeep, just hang out and see if this is a success or unmitigated disaster.
