Keith, as a son of Ares, always felt conflicted. When he, Shiro, and Matt first ran through Camp Half-Blood's borders, he was devastated as he watched Shiro turn into a fucking pine tree. Here was his adoptive brother, the only role model he’d ever had, and Shiro's all-powerful father could only "save" his life by turning him into a plant. He deserved better.

It made Keith a spiteful camper for the first few weeks he stayed in the Hermes cabin. So spiteful, in fact, that he took out five Apollo kids in the first half hour of capture the flag. As he stood there in that godsdamned forest and panted over the groaning forms of his fellow campers, a fiery boar appeared above his head.

Matt congratulated him, while Ares cabin immediately staked their claim with aggressive back thumps. Matt had already been claimed the day after they’d entered camp as a son of Athena.

“War bros!” Matt cheered, forcibly fist bumping Keith, who wasn’t nearly as excited about that association.

Despite all the distractions that camp had to offer, Keith could never truly leave behind that orphanage he and Shiro had grown up in. He couldn’t forget the firm, guiding hand on his shoulder or the warm grey eyes that crackled uniquely in certain lights when he did something good. Shiro had made him want to be a better person, even after all the hardships they'd endured.

Keith didn’t care about being good anymore, though. He just wanted his brother back. And to do that, he’d need the attention of Zeus himself.

From what Keith heard, that could only be obtained by true heroes who were worthy of the gods’ blessing. Heroes completed quests.

Keith needed a quest.

Allura, however, had other plans. The graceful centaur explained that the oracle informed her of a special demigod who would be chosen to lead Keith’s quest.

Unfortunately, Keith Kogane was known for being a loner at camp. Even his cabinmates discovered that it was practically impossible to work as a team with Keith, who despite being powerful, often charged recklessly into exercises without much care for those around him (or himself).

To say Keith wasn’t thrilled at his quest being dependent on another person was… well, an understatement. It only got worse when he first laid eyes on the gangly, injured demigod who had allegedly defeated a Minotaur before even setting foot in Camp. Keith stared down at the sleeping boy with an expression of pure disdain, unemotional. The boy stirred and blinked his eyes half open.

“You drool when you sleep,” Keith flatly intoned. The boy just smiled, still barely conscious.

“You have a mullet.”

And with that rousing statement, he passed out again and started to snore. Keith wrinkled his nose. If this guy was actually who his hopes were riding on, he was incredibly fucked.

Since book 7 part 5 (the part where we meet Meleanor/Maleanor 👀) is coming to EN this month, i would love to see your take on lilia’s proposal to meleanor! i mean they were like little kids right? it couldn’t have been that serious…i think the only reason she even brought it up again is because she could tell lilia still genuinely loved her…(even if he didn’t realize it himself?) but, oh well! Last year Sophie and BC went to an art gallery in London on their anniversary.

Someone caught them looking at the artwork. The Haters flipped their lids when they saw this pix he took...

Aeltri waa especially desperate to claim Sophie was PHOTOSHOPPED into the shot!

Then couple more photos appeared but their quality wasn't especially clear.

Now these "new/old" pix have been found which CLEARLY show BC and Sophie in that very same gallery on that very same day!

Not only that, THEY'RE HOLDING HANDS!

10 YEARS ON

Ten years ago, Benedict and Sophie announced their engagement. Were people surprised? Yes. But the vast majority of the fandom were happy for them. Sadly, a small handful of bitter, entitled so-called fans didn't take the news well. They were enraged that he didn't stay single. That he didn't propose to one of them. So what did they do? They started a hate campaign aimed at Sophie.

At first, it was the usual insults. She's a whore, she's ugly, she's a gold digger, etc. The kind of insults thrown at women since the dawn of time. Then the "PR" crowd chimed in. Showing the world they have no idea what PR is.

But as soon as it became clear that Benedict and Sophie's relationship was the real deal, the gloves came off. That's when the flase and disgusting accusations started. Saying that Benedict had abused his younger school mates and that Sophie was black mailing him. But they couldn't keep accusing the object of their obsession, so they started accusing Sophie of child abuse. Of human trafficking. Of fraud. Of domestic violence, etc.

When that wasn't enough for the septics, they turned against his friends and family. They had to accuse his parents of abuse and neglect. Especially his mother. Then, as time went on, Patty needed to findan excuse to explain why her predictions never came true. Especially after her disatrous interview. So what did she do? With the help of Aeltri, she decided to diagnose Ben with DID. That way, she could use the excuse to explain why she was so very wrong again. If that wasn't enough, she decided to say Sophie was dying of tertiary syphilis. Of course, that diagnosis keeps changing as it is very clear she's not dying.

It's been 10 years. Ten years of lies, of hate, of harassement, of bullying, of slander. And for what? Benedict and Sophie are still married. They're still thriving. Still parents to their 3 boys. In short, the septics have wasted a decade of their lives denying reality with nothing to show for it.

Patty's cult is growing smaller with every passing year. Aeltri's mental health is getting worse. Mstoxictea became a full on QAnon member thanks to Aeltri. In short, the septics lives have not improved in the least. In fact, they are more miserable than they were 10 years ago. I take solace in knowing that there's only a small handful of them left. But they are still there after 10 years. Looking even more stupid than they did at the start.

So if any tinhater is reading this, no matter what the fandom, ask yourself this: do you really want to end the same way? Is it really worth it? It's not to late to come to your senses. Don't become the next poster child for fandom tinhats.

definitely had this standing archetype in my head that cordelia chase was "the mean girl" while on btvs and learned better on ats but rewatching it today i'm honestly like. from season 2 onwards really her main fault is "says rude/tactless things sometimes, largely played for laughs" whereas nearly every other character is so deeply mean to her in a way that is wholly meanspirited and uncalled for. what the hell lol.

The Haters, as usual, aren't taking this sighting of the couple very well. They're really scared now. They KNOW the Cumberbatches' 10th anniversary is approaching. They KNOW their useless campaign of hate towards the Cumberbatches' marriage is a complete failure.

It looks like Patty is pissed Ben and Sophie didn't attend the GG so she could find something to bitch about.

I guess she also didn't like to be reminded that her famewhore narrative doesn't stand muster. Ben and Sophie have always been extremely private about their personal life. They are the very opposite of fame hungry. I mean, when is the last time any of them have given interviews outside of their work? Neither of them are on social media. We hardly ever see them other than at public events, etc. So how could that be seen has being thirsty?

The only one who is butthurt and pathetic is Patty. It's been 10 years since she's started her hate campaign against a stranger, and all she has to show for it is an interview where she made a fool of herself. I guess she isn't "done" with Ben after all.

Tony managed to yoink the ziploc bag I had put the opened package in off the kitchen counter, proceeded to, apparently, chew the bag open and eat most of it, and bring the rest up to my room to finish like the gluttonous little beast he is.

Suffice to say I confiscated the meagre leftovers and put them in a ceramic treat jar he could not hope to reach.
