The games really dispel the stupid, smelly, sexually ignorant reputation the middle ages have, for which I'm glad. The fact that most practical medical knowledge was held by women was real and true too (which is why so much medical knowledge was lost in the witch hunts). Most university medical knowledge at the time assumed Ancient Greece had the right idea and then... didn't elaborate... for a 1000 years. I like Humorism because it's funny (it's medical astrology to me) but it wasn't very useful in understanding bodies.

Even though bath houses weren't always brothels, they did have that reputation, and I'm glad there are so many sassy sex workers around for a few reasons. One, because they would have been numerous and I'm sick of their stories being erased because society is uncomfortable talking about sex, or women in relation to sex. Sex work was one of the few professions that gave women both financial and social independence. Personally, I think this is the real reason it had the clergy and society in a knot of constant discomfort and discourse. That and the fact these women, many of which came from the gutter, could end up having the ears of lords, priests, and kings. Second, it displays the hypocrisy and dissonance between action and rhetoric. There's a reason brothels were more numerous in places where there were a lot of priests and it wasn't because they were trying to 'save their souls'.

This is probably one of the best depictions of medieval Europe I've seen in modern media if I'm honest.

I actually saw someone say that they're gonna avoid Ais and Vere's routes because of their relationship with one another...

I understand feeling uncomfortable, but I doubt that their relationship is going to overshadow whatever you have with them on their respective routes. I mean, obviously not? It's a romance game. Whoever's route you choose, that's who you're romancing. And that romance will be the main story of the game.

Besides, this is all during the PROLOGUE. This is before MC becomes properly entangled in their lives. Who knows what their relationship will look like on their routes.

All I have to say is...I really don't think there's anything to worry about.

I know that realistically you can only fit so many movies into a list of approximately 100, but I cannot take that "How many of tumblr's favorite movies have you seen?" list that's been going around seriously because there are some truly egregious omissions.

Some of it is very clearly recency bias, which makes me wonder if the op truly wasn't on here in 2013 or so, but you're telling me you made a list of "tumblr's favorite movies" that doesn't include Pacific Rim or Mad Max: Fury Road? Because, like, I was there, Gandalf.
