Die Wunden, die dieser Tag hinterlassen hat, verheilen nicht. Jahre, Monate und Tage werden vergehen – der Schmerz bleibt und wächst sogar weiter.

Auch unser Kampf geht weiter: Ihnen wurde Gerechtigkeit versprochen, aber Gerechtigkeit muss erkämpft werden: Der Untersuchungsausschuss wird seinem Auftrag nicht gerecht. Ein Mahnmal auf dem Marktplatz gibt es bis heute nicht. Wie lange können hessische Sicherheitsbehörden noch vertuschen, wie lange noch schweigen, wie lange noch ignorieren? Aktivistinnen, unsere Freundinnen und Genoss*innen sind es, die selbst recherchiert und aufgeklärt haben und ihre Ausstellung im Hanauer Rathaus haben werden.

Wir wollen zeigen, dass Ferhat, Hamza, Said Nesar, Vili Viorel, Mercedes, Kaloyan, Fatih, Sedat und Gökhan nicht nur ein Teil des Lebens ihrer Liebsten waren, sondern werden uns auch in Köln mit ihnen verbunden zeigen und keine Ruhe geben. Gemeinsam wollen wir die Forderungen in der Öffentlichkeit halten und Teil des Drucks sein, den es braucht, um sie umzusetzen.

Wir versammeln uns gegen das Versagen der Behörden vor, während und nach der Tat, gegen die Schwerfälligkeit der Ämter bei der Unterstützung und Hilfe, gegen die Kälte der Bürokratie, gegen die Unwilligkeit und Schludrigkeit von Staatsanwaltschaft und Polizei bei den Ermittlungen, bei der Verfolgung von Spuren, bei dem Ernstnehmen neuer Bedrohungslagen, bei unserem Schutz.

Gegen die rechte Hetze von Politiker:innen, Parteien und Medien. Gegen Behörden und Sicherheitsapparate, die durch ihre strukturelle Inkompetenz und Ignoranz weder verhindern noch aufgeklären. Gegen das Zusammenspiel, das rechte Terrorakte als Einzeltaten abtut.

Wir vergessen kein Fehlverhalten der Sicherheitskräfte in der Tatnacht, keine wiederkehrenden Respektlosigkeiten und herabwürdigenden Gesten von Beamt:innen, Vertreter:innen von Behörden und Polizei gegenüber Angehörigen und Überlebenden und selbst gegenüber den Toten.

Schluss damit! Damit wir keine Angst mehr haben müssen, muss es politische Konsequenzen geben. Rassismus, egal in welcher Form, darf nicht mehr geduldet, verharmlost oder ignoriert werden. Wir geben keine Ruhe! Wir sprechen über Rassismus, den Normalzustand von gesellschaftlichem und institutionellem Rassismus.

Wir werden Gedenken, still und laut, wir werden uns versammeln wir und nicht alleine bleiben. Lasst uns mit Ideen und Kraft Wege organiseren das Geschehene gemeinsam zu tragen und die Erinnerung lebendig zu halten.
