Sparring session finished, and Oliver used the break time to rehydrate and stuff his stomach up with food. Maybe he shouldn't eat so quickly though. "You're really strong y'know that? I bet you win ALL your battles," he says with a mouthful of food. He even shoots the lady with the eels a smile. No manners, but she didn't seem like someone who'd care about all that. Maybe?
At least this time he finishes his food and speaks again, "I don't have a lot of sparring partners, so thank you for sparring with me! It brought back some really fun memories!"

"I'm not a fan of rules myself," They say with a chuckle. "BUT, rules are set for a reason." They don't think they have to tell this person that though. "Not that I abide by them for the most part." Indigo playfully winks and flips their braided hair over their shoulder.
"Wanna see what they do up there?" They don't really have to sneak into the top floors of the Fibonacci's tall ass skyscraper.

While the allure of treasure might've been the reason that a certain squid had found this estate quite appealing. Shadow had come here to learn about local lores, and scope general places out.
He was normally good about minding his own business and turning a blind eye if it didn't involve him.
But...Something told him this was going to turn very very bad for the both of them if he didn't at least try to intervene.
"Are you stuffing your pockets?!" Came a strained whisper, the eerie silence of this place hinted that there maybe something stalking the outskirts of this property, and the hedgehog really didn't want to find out. "Is this really the time or place?!"

"Hey."
He's seen her before, all those months ago in the Abyss. They hadn't ever had a real chance to actually speak, and none of them were really in a good state to have a proper conversation. And now he's just so happened to come across her out on the city streets.
Wolfwood turns his head to expel cigarette smoke, and with his free hand digs into his bag and pulls out a can of cherry soda—still cold. He holds it out to her.
"The vending machine dropped two. You want the extra?"

Here's the thing: braking while on a skateboard was supposed to be pretty straight-forward. Yet, Sonic struggled anyways, because most skateboards were not meant to go as fast as Sonic could run, which was a couple hundred miles per hour even with the nerf the stars bestowed upon him.
So. Sonic's first day at his first skatepark ever was already going to be a bit of disaster. He's crashed into so many things already, and Frye was about to be next on the list if she didn't--

Xiaotian is a city boy, but this place sure did take things to a whole new level! Megapolis was supposed to be one of the largest cities, like, ever... and Spirale practically gave his hometown a run for its money! Hah...
Yeah, he's lost.
At least a lot of the people around here seemed pretty nice? No one looked like they'd bite his head off just for asking directions, at least.
"Hey! Uh, sorry to bother ya, but could you point me in the direction of the nearest fast food joint or something? I'd use my phone but it, uh... I landed on it wrong,"

Curiosity is how Liu'er ends up in most situations. Like right now— lost in the depths of the Mistwood. He heard something about some sort of treasure being inside the forest, and just had to go check it out!
It seems he's not the only one poking around the ruins at this hour. Although, he can't make much sense of what exactly she's doing. She at least seems somewhat familiar with the place...
"Hi!" Liu'er chirps as he leaps onto a closer branch. He spins himself around to hang upside down by his tail in front of her, eyes wide with curiosity. "What'cha doing?"

“Are you sure you can get up this high?”
Edgar has long since been perched on a higher part of the tree, where he’s found a branch sturdy enough to hold his weight and that has a decent view of the park ahead.
It’s not like he’s daring her to do it, but instead worried that the determined person standing below might just be getting ahead of herself.
“There’s nothing down there to break your fall if you lose your grip.”
…On second thought though. He starts scaling his way back down the way he came. If he’s down there, he can try to catch her in that case then at the very least!

Shiver hadn't felt so unsafe in a long time. First the entire weird world they'd been spirited off to had completely warped into something different, as well as they themselves having changed into some sort of weird ocean monster person. Somehow they innately knew how to change between that form and one that looked more like a human, which seemed to be less suspicious to the people around here, good for laying low while they figured out the whole deal of how to get out of here. They just wanted to wake up from this weird, bad dream and not be alone anymore.
And thus the sea monkey's paw curled a finger in, as within a week's time a very familiar face showed up: their own, trying to fight them and...merge? It's what it looked like, but they weren't going to allow it! Using some of the new weird magic gifts they'd discovered, Shiver managed to beat back their Mist Reaper and escape its clutches. But even as safety was assured, they kept running and running and running like hell. As if somehow it would help them escape.
But they couldn't run forever, certainly not in this human form. Their legs turned to jelly, their breath tore at their throat, and a very uncomfortable wall was their only support as they fell over, sliding down to their knees. Tears began to prick up at the corners of their eyes, blinked back furiously on instinct. As if there was anyone here to see them cry in the first place. But they couldn't help it. It was how they'd cultivated their own behavior. They only ever cried when they were alone, or when the only ones around were Big Man and-
"...Frye?"
They'd brought their attention upward, looking around to make sure there was nobody to see them come so close to shedding tears. Only one other person- a Siren, like themselves, only she wasn't disguised. It was absolutely a form they hadn't seen before, but...the long ears, the way the tentacles atop her head fell...the way she carried herself...as Shiver brought themselves to their feet, the life they'd lived for many years with that fiery Inkling flashed in their mind, focused on cutting right through every skin-deep change. They could see this Siren for who they really were.
"Frye, that...that's you, isn't it? You're really here!!"

A Moss-t Dangerous Task! - @moraypower
"Y'know if you wanted my help, I would've done it without the threats." Adaman probably wasn't the most equipped for the job, but that didn't mean he wouldn't try.
"This looks like a sort of high risk, high reward thing..." Oh, Frye, sweetie, "Have you thought this all the way through?"

"huh... how'd you make this cosplay? it's really cool. i don't know much about sculpting pieces for cosplay, so i've always been interested." she glances at frye's ears in particular, unashamed of openly staring. she had obviously put a lot of effort into her costume, and ame wanted to make sure she knew it wasn't wasted. wasn't she just so kind?
#moraypower#moraypower 01#i hope this is ok! i'm sure frye gets a lot of cosplay accusations#but. um. nso is just Real Life so it's hard for ame to react any other way

"Miss Frye! This way!" Kay runs ahead, maneuvering past a tripwire on her way toward the Jungle Temple. The mission is simple: get as much treasure as they can get their hands on. That's Kay's mission, anyway. She's just glad Frye agreed to team up!
"So, what's the mask for?" Kay tilts her head to the side, pausing for her friend to catch up to her. "Is it a secret identity thing? Like a superhero? I've read comics like that!"

She can feel eyes on her. Rumors of her having been put away for eternity hadn't been true. Well, that's all they were right? Rumors about some ghost girl no longer being in Mistwood haunt the souls.
Yet, Dam-bi minded her own business. She walked the boardwalk as if nothing had happened. She PROBABLY would have continued onward if she hadn't been stopped.
The child turns to face the other, taking in her appearance with a curious tilt of her head. Hm, not someone she's familiar with at all.
"Did you have a question?" She supposed the other might. Why else would she have been stopped?

"Wait, wait, I've got this!" If there's one thing Lilli's good at, it's jumping. She takes a flying leap, slapping her hand onto the plain gray wall, leaving a perfect green handprint.
The wall is covered in handprints of green and yellow, at varying degrees of height. Lilli had been restless all day, and she feels energized... so much so that she's not above turning these newfound hues into an impromptu competition with a stranger.
"Ah, I used to be able to do better," she huffs, hand on her hip. "I've lost some of my skill in this place." Shifting in place, she puts her hands behind her head.
"So! Think you can do better?"

Spongebob's ecstatic when he finds something that reminds him of home—other fellow sea creatures! Though they're not like any eel he's ever seen. ...He's also not sure that he's ever seen anyone have eels as pets before, but there's a first for everything!
"Aw, are those little guys your friends?" They're decidedly not little (but ARE adorable, in Spongebob's eyes), "...Can I pet one?"

@moraypower would you miiind returning that?
「𓆄」 The mission was simple, an NPC in Fibonacci has sought Hawks out for some privately contracted work. Which...He hasn't told them hhe was willing to do pro bono, that came off as scam-ish, so graciously, he accepted this mission.
The mission outline was as follows:
I believe there is a vagabond type visitor to the city who seems to be a bit of a klepto, I've caught glimpses of her pickpocketing others. But, I don't know what she's capable of, so I have just been keeping tabs on her, and this IS repeat behavior.
If you could gain intel on this individual, or even retrieve the stolen items, I'll be indebted to you.
This seemed simple enough, while his target didn't sound dangerous, that was yet to be seen, and the pro-hero knew to keep his wits about him.
First thing was first. He had to find an inconspicuous place to perch in the shadows of the upper level. Which was easier said than done when oversized vermillion wings adorned your back.
He settled ontop of a shorter pole that didn't get any taller than the neighboring buildings, relying on the shadows they cast to wash him out and help him blend in.
"Reconnaisance missions are so slow...Hopefully I don't fall asleep." The pro liked fast action packed missions, but observing could take hours, or worse...he wouldn't get any results today and this would wind up being a multi-day mission.
"And...To have ears on the street..." With him only having control of one feather at a time, it was a nuisance, but he could work around it, a single semiplume feather jetted around the man until he sent it flying into the streets, relinqueshing control of it so it would gently flutter down and seem somewhat natural to the setting.
Now...He just had to ignore the mindless chatter between citizens and visitors alike and listen for anything that would tip off to thievery, whether that be the rustling of pockets or even an exclamation at the wouldbe theif!
