Bipolar Journaling
So since like I have this condition. I have been engaged in journaling to keep track of my highs and lows as they emerge. It is fun and horrifying because I am able to see how I was doing what I was thinking over a period of time.
This past year, I have done alot more to journal and keep track of these trends. Much of the year was filled with automatic entries that were based around what I was feeling and thinking. I found that these sometimes intensified how I was feeling, so that is a negative, where I am trying to do something to benefit myself and my own awareness. This month I have been trying to create a system that is more scientific.
I have a table, with the date, a section for a journal entry, another section with a numerical value attached to my mood and finally a section for a note, if there is a specific aspect of that day that needs to be highlighted. I am hopeful it will be better at tracking. I will share the results at the end of the trial month!
