oh that was me with the lando & martin timeline anon. the full timeline may make your brain melt more. this is the stuff we know about for sure:
met late summer 2022 at one of martin's gigs in Ibiza - lando was there on vacation with max f, ollie etc. the video going around of them at fisher's gig was a couple of days after martin's.
sept 2022 monza gp - martin was at the race even though he wasn't playing and was with mclaren - they posted pics of him and daniel in their hospitality. after the race, lando posted pics of them him & martin leaving in a heli - he called martin his uber driver 🤣. lando stayed in amsterdam for a few days. both of them posted videos of them on martin's boat on the canals with martin's friend jurrian. local gossip sites mentioned they'd been seen in restaurants with friends. in this time martin bought lando his decks. lando posted pics of himself with them on the plane back to the uk and martin said in an interview a few months later that he had bought them as a gift for lando.
oct 2022 - hang out after the mexico gp - there are clips on tiktok of them at a club.
dec 2022 dubai - martin was playing there on 30th dec, turned up a few days early and hung out with lando. martin posted pics of them on his insta with some masks & there was a video of them playing padel with martin k and someone else. lando's friends all posted from the vip section at martin's gig.
jan 2023 - following martin's gig in thailand, he and louis met up with lando & martin k and they all flew to finland for several days - lots of pics and videos - then on to ibiza for a few more days - martin has a home there and his parents & sister spend a lot of time there and were with them - martin posted a pic of himself with his family and also there were videos of lando and both martins on a hike. martin then flew to nice the same day lando went back to monaco - he posted a pic of himself the next day in nice getting a haircut.
may 2023 miami gp - martin was playing at the miami race. that's where the nipple pinch pics come from & also this gem https://www.tumblr.com/alexi-01/716928290612559872/stop-this-is-so-cute-look-at-martijns-face?source=share
june 2023 - arrive early together in nyc and hang out ahead of lando's press stuff. martin's parents and sister were also with them - there's a pic of them with lando & martin in a japanese tea house. lando stays through to martin's gig and arrives late for thursday media day in canada. martin shows up to play after the gp in canada. he and lando were out together that evening in montreal - a dj in the bar they were in took pics with them both. next day lando posts a pic of video of him, martin & louis on a hotel balcony.
july 2023 - max v & lando go to tomorrowland after the spa gp. max is in vip with his family, lando is up on stage with martin trying but failing to hide behind some speakers. videos of them at the afterpary. lando then goes to amsterdam for a couple of days before he has to be back in spa - posted a pic of the view from martin's place & a pic leaked of them playing pool.
august 2023 - after being on vacation with his family lando goes to ibiza. missed all his friends who had been there all summer, stays with martin's childhood friends incl jurrian from the amsterdam boat. pics of them out celebrating ward and jurrian's bdays and the afterparty of martin's show. lando then flies with martin to his shows in bratislava and then marseille - was pictured in bratislava plus martin posted a story with him in and lando let the marseille detail out in a ziggo interview at the amsterdam gp.
sept 2023 - zandvoort gp martin hanging with lando's dad on the grid. after the race there's a video of the two of them getting out of a van at amsterdam airport and boarding max v's plane which flew to monaco.
oct 2023 - hung out after the mexico gp after lando had had dinner with carlos. i follow a friend of lando & max v's who lives in mexico city who now has a locked account so the pics aren't public but he posted pics of both of them and martin started following him. swedish house mafia guys were also there (assumption carlos may have been there too as even though there were no pics the guy started following him as well though carlos didn't follow back)
nov 2023 - that hug at the vegas gp. local papers reported lando was also in the club with martin and max v but there are no pics and as he was probably still in some pain after his crash it's likely they confused thierry v with lando.
dec 2023 - ski trip with lando's friends. martin flew directly back from gigs in singapore and malaysia to join up with them.
to be continued...
and that's just the stuff we know about lol. bffs of w/e else, anyone's guess at this point, but they really did become very close very quickly.
Anon, I am giving you a big ole fat kiss on the forehead. God bless you for this breakdown ❤️❤️❤️
So much stuff happens throughout the season that I routinely forget tiny details (especially ones you've listed here like the family dinner in New York). To see them all spelled out here is 😘🤌

Rewatching old races: Montreal gp 2022
This race really was a Carlos Sainz masterclass. He managed to stay less than a second away from Max with the 2022 Ferrari. Chased max for the win to the finish line. Overall just amazing racing.
Imagine what he can do in a Red Bull. Put him in the rb and max probably won't be winning by 30 seconds every race.

Toto Wolff reveals Mercedes will make 'fundamental design changes' to next season's car
Toto Wolff reveals Mercedes will make 'fundamental design changes' to next season's car... as team principal hopes to make Lewis Hamilton and George Russell title contenders in 2024 Hamilton and Russell are a long way off Max Verstappen in this year's standings Mercedes hope to be challenging the Dutchman for wins later in the season Wolff though has revealed Mercedes will make big changes for their 2024 car By Kieran Lynch For Mailonline Published: 11:56 EDT, 22 June 2023 | Updated: 11:56 EDT, 22 June 2023 Toto Wolff has revealed that Mercedes will make 'fundamental' changes to their 2024 car to enable Lewis Hamilton and George Russell to challenge for next season's title. Red Bull have dominated the 2023 season, with Mercedes' closest challenger, Hamilton, a massive 93 points behind Verstappen after only eight races. They have shown improvement in recent races, with podium finishes in recent races in Spain and Canada - after introducing a major upgrade to their W14 challenger in Monaco last month. The sport's yearly cost cap of £105.6m gives teams less funding to spend on large developments, but Wolff insists Mercedes will have the flexibility to make big changes to next season's challenger. As per Sky Sports, Wolff said: 'We have set up a huge organisation in our financial department of 46 people, that monitors the cost cap down to the last screw. Toto Wolff has revealed Mercedes will make 'fundamental' changes to next season's car Despite improvements since a recent upgrade package, they remain a long way off Red Bull Wolff hopes to provide drivers Lewis Hamilton and George Russell a title contender next year 'We look at that trend of our spend during all of the year and what we've done is basically allocate resource to various projects. 'We've stayed below that line all year last year, and we're still below that line this year and that is considering a normal development switch for next year. This is still pretty much on track. 'The good thing is that we are constantly learning about what the car is doing. There are going to be some fundamental design changes for next year, but it's not that we're building stuff. It's more like what are we simulating?' Verstappen is on course to win his third consecutive drivers' title, after his victory in Montreal was his sixth out of the opening eight races this season. Hamilton finished 14 seconds behind the Dutchman in third, behind Aston Martin's Fernando Alonso. While George Russell was on course to finish in fourth before a crash into the wall ruined his race and later caused him to retire. Though more drastic changes will be made to next season's car, Wolff revealed in Montreal that an upgrade package will be introduced at the British Grand Prix in two weeks time. Chief technical officer Mike Elliott, said their upgrades introduced at Monaco performed better than predicted in Canada, and that they hope for strong results in the next two races in Austria and Silverstone - tracks which should better suit their car. Elliott said in Mercedes' Canadian Grand Prix debrief video: 'I think where we have seen the car struggling is more in the low-speed corners and so we start looking at circuits that have got more medium and high-speed content; we think we will do better there. Max Verstappen is already on course to winning his third title with six wins from eight races 'So, Silverstone will be a good example of that. Austria shouldn't be too bad for us either. So let's hope we go well on both of those.' Mercedes, who dominated the sport from 2014 to 2021, have won just one race since the start of 2022 - Russell's Brazilian GP win last November. Hamilton, who has won a record 103 races over his career, is currently on a 31-race streak without a victory - with his last triumph coming at the 2021 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. It's the 7th anniversary of our blog.
Seven years may not be a long time, but with his absences it has felt very long. Stephen has not told us what his career plans are so we do not know when he plans to retire. If he wishes to move on after the 2026 Olympics we have three more years left, but if he is planning to leave after the 2030 Olympics we are at the halfway point, with seven years left to go. He might even want to go until 2034. Let’s see what he decides.
Year 7 started at a low point and turned into an emotional roller coaster. After a forced withdrawal from 2022 Nationals Stephen placed a respectable 5th at Junior Worlds, then began his season with what was one of his best ever short programs at Glacier Falls Summer Classic. After a rocky autumn with his GP debut he is still looking for that kind of short program skate though his free skates are showing us his technical prowess. He barely competed last season, and did not compete at all the season prior, so it is remarkable what he has been able to do.
We have to acknowledge Stephen’s mental strength in what he has been doing. Coming back from rough performances, skating as if they never happened, takes a lot of determination and courage. His parents have done a great job to raise such a tenacious young man. May they remain in good health to be able to watch his career progress. May he also remain in good health.
I was privileged to watch him compete twice this season. It was nice to be able to wave a Canadian flag for him, and to witness his skating at Nationals. It just made me realize how much I missed his skating since he left. There is no one else like him in Canada. I hope he was also able to feel the love from the Canadian audiences. It was not just my friends and I, but whole arenas full of people on their feet, cheering for his every jumping pass and encouraging him to keep going when things got tough.
I have to thank you all for your patience with me. I have become much busier but I am continuing to do what I can, just at a slower pace now. My belief in Stephen and desire to support him are still as strong as when I first became a fan. In the time he was away I thought he might have changed a lot. He did grow substantially, but after watching him live I can say the essence of him looks to be unchanged. He is still a hardworking and talented skater with grit.
I also owe Stephen an apology for my views on his short program. I focused on the music, but really should have been looking solely at the lyrics and what meaning they hold to him. They encapsulate a sadness and coming to terms with the realities of growing up.
We knew we were Impervious no matter how we'd bleed We never fought for breath Priest and prophetess We were nothing we would defy Invincible skin It's how we all begin
He was a child prodigy who ended up facing injuries and going through a lot of pain as he grew. We only learned a bit about it so we cannot fathom how he felt. We just mourned his absence while worrying for him. Now he is facing challenges in getting back to the level of success he had achieved. Considering all that, this music choice makes perfect sense. Admittedly I might still be misunderstanding this program. I read a post on the song by The Music Enthusiast and I think we are in agreement. Either way, I apologize. I hope Stephen feels that he has come out of his dark days.
Year eight will bring big things. He is going to be skating at his first senior ISU championship next week. Stephen may be achieving a long time goal of his in going to the World Championships. We will also have 2024 Nationals, which will be used for selection to the 2024 World Championships in Montreal. It will be an exciting and busy time.
Let’s wish Stephen the best of luck for Four Continents, and all that the future holds for him in year eight.

ahead of the 2024 gp...
hi friends, just updated some of the links above and proofread to better reflect my current understanding. but now that i'm actually living in montreal, i've noticed that quebec is both especially egregious and surprisingly aware (??) when it comes to acknowledgement of their history with indigenous peoples. so here's some quebec-specific info you can read up on:
it's no secret that quebec is going through political tumult right now. i mean like all "québec mentionné!!" jokes aside this province is getting progressively more separatist and racist--see bill 21, bill 96, françois legault and pascale déry's war on english universities/montreal at large, etc.
but i think it's worthwhile to point out that just 15 min away from the track is the allan memorial institute where indigenous peoples were subject to MK-ULTRA experiments. last week, the supreme court decided not to hear an appeal of a quebec ruling that blocks a class action suit against the usamerican government for funding the program. (for those who are unfamiliar with our system: plaintiffs contend that the trial judge was wrong in granting the US immunity -> quebec court of appeal dismissed the appeal -> the last shot at an appeal is with the supreme court).
in related news, and also 15 minutes away, mcgill university has been trying to renovate its royal victoria hospital on top of unmarked graves of the victims of MK-ULTRA. mohawk mothers--the incredible women leading the mcgill suit--and duplessis orphans have also raised concerns about unmarked graves of indigenous children under a SAQ warehouse in east montreal. SAQ is the crown alcohol commission here, and it's since claimed that there are no human remains, but they didn't even search properly--mohawk mothers served them a cease and desist a few weeks ago, but of course, SAQ has been trying to get around it.
i won't get into too much detail but quebec is in an interesting position atm where it wants to be sovereign, but reaffirming its separateness from Canada™ re: self government means affirming that canada is an english colonial power and recognizing its history with indigenous peoples, which puts them in a weird position in their PR campaign to make it seem like they've always been friendly with indigenous peoples, when, y'know, some reserves and schools in the province still don't even have clean drinking water. but from an eagle-eyed pov, the big tension between the indigenous peoples, quebec, and parliament is like a tug-of-war between limiting the nature of federal authority (both quebec and indigenous peoples want this) and consolidating legislative control over indigenous affairs (implying a narrowing of quebec control) generally. so in 2022 quebec wrote a huge decision that acknowledged how the canadian judiciary and legislature oppressed indigenous peoples, and it's like, actually substantial?
because of that, the supreme court wrote a decision earlier this year (Reference re An Act respecting First Nations, Inuit and Métis children, youth and families, 2024 SCC 5) that moves canadian positive law towards accepting the indigenous right of self government, which we can cautiously take as a W. it's not a perfect decision by any means (doesn't attempt to address s. 35 and there are some interpretive backflips here and there re: s. 91(24)) but courts are finally leaning towards the fact that treaties are agreements between people and should be honoured as such. so moves are indeed being made in canada! it's just. very, very slow going.
anyway, once more, pick up after yourselves and be respectful please (especially if you're coming up here from the usa), and try to come in with some idea of the veritable minefield you've travelled to. as always, i'm open to dialogue on this subject. enjoy the gp :)
so with this weekend being the canadian gp, i'd like to take a moment and bring attention to the indigenous peoples who have suffered immensely at the hands of settler-colonizers on this land. (note that i'm only an ally, so if there are indigenous folks living in what's now considered montreal and/or quebec on f1blr, by all means please take the floor!)
canada is known for its cultural mosaic and for being the friendly country full of nice people who say aboot and use maple syrup with everything. our "origin story" is boring--conferences instead of a civil war? talk about a snoozefest in high school history. anyway, universal health care, moose, hockey, french, et cetera (/sarcasm). so it's understandable that people buy into the propaganda! even most canadians are proud of this image.
but beneath the surface, i think our propaganda is just as, if not more, insidious than that of the united states (our closest and most comparable neighbour). the truth is, canada is complicit in attempted genocide. around this time last year, the bodies of 215 indigenous children were unearthed from a residential school in BC. there are thousands of unmarked graves where residential schools were.
but this isn't history; this is now. the last residential school closed in 1997. still, indigenous peoples in saskatoon are given "starlight tours" where police take them to the middle of nowhere to freeze to their deaths; our laws are such that indigenous peoples and their families cannot claim indian status and gain any benefits if they marry a non-indigenous person; reserves are without basic resources like access to potable water and nigh on unlivable; the rcmp have killed inuit sled dogs; funding to indigenous initiatives has repeatedly been denied by the government; and so, so much more that would take more than a text post on tumblr to convey the horrors of.
montreal, originally tiohtià:ke, is on unceded kanien’kehá:ka territory, which is part of the haudenosaunee nation. it's land under the hiawatha wampum belt and the dish with one spoon agreement, which together promote peace, unity, and responsibility to the land. the dish with one spoon in particular speaks to how we only have one dish--that's earth--and we should only take what we need, leaving resources for others while keeping the earth clean.
as far as being actionable, i can't give a definitive, be-all end-all list of things you can do. but if you're going to the grand prix, i at least recommend trying out the following:
PICK UP AFTER YOURSELF. honour the agreement! we're usually pretty good at about recycling and sorting garbage, and though i've never been to the circuit, i would honestly be surprised if there weren't green bins and paper and plastic recycling along with regular garbage bins. (nb if ur gonna try canadian things: tim hortons coffee cups are NOT recyclable, but their ice capp/frozen drink cups are!)
educate yourself! i'll link a couple sites below where you can get started, but for an introduction, i cannot recommend chelsea vowel's indigenous writes enough. it's a fantastically written guide to first nations, métis, and inuit issues in canada, and it's fairly recent too!
start following indigenous activism!!! for starters and to learn a little bit of the history, you can read up on the idle no more movement.
if you have questions or want to know more, i've got some pdfs and other recommended reading, but really you can learn a lot by going down rabbit holes. again, if someone who is actually indigenous wants to speak on this, i will gladly step aside!

IN NUMBERS: The amazing stats behind Red Bulls century of F1 wins
Red Bull made history at the Canadian Grand Prix as Max Verstappen’s dominant win gave the team their 100th victory in the sport. To mark the occasion, we put together a list of the standout numbers from their impressive run, covering drivers, circuits and other eye-catching statistics… -- 19 -- Red Bull’s 100 race wins to date have been achieved across 19 seasons, with the Milton Keynes team making their F1 debut back in 2005. After several podium finishes, they won for the first time at the 2009 Chinese Grand Prix. READ MORE: Verstappen wins Canadian GP to claim Red Bull’s 100th victory and equal Senna’s tally -- 30 -- From that aforementioned first win to their most recent in Canada last weekend, Red Bull have triumphed at 30 different circuits over the years – spanning five continents (Asia, North America, South America, Europe and Oceania). -- 7 -- Monaco is Red Bull’s most successful circuit thanks to a tally of seven victories, while Abu Dhabi’s Yas Marina (six) and Japan’s Suzuka, Belgium’s Spa-Francorchamps, Malaysia’s Sepang, Brazil’s Interlagos and Spain’s Barcelona (all five) are also particularly profitable venues for the outfit. This feature is currently not available because you need to provide consent to functional cookies. Please update your cookie preferences Red Bull celebrate 100th F1 win with Verstappen victory in Canada -- 41 -- Of Red Bull’s victories so far, 41 of them have been achieved by reigning double world champion Verstappen. He started that list by winning on his debut for the team at the 2016 Spanish Grand Prix. -- 38 -- Next in the table is Sebastian Vettel, who claimed 38 race wins – and four world titles – during his stint at Red Bull from 2009 through 2014, before leaving for Ferrari and later joining Aston Martin. READ MORE: Verstappen hails ‘incredible’ milestone as he helps Red Bull hit a century of F1 wins -- 5 -- Overall, five drivers have won races with Red Bull since their debut: the aforementioned Verstappen and Vettel, along with Mark Webber (nine wins) Daniel Ricciardo (seven) and current driver Sergio Perez (five). -- 52 -- More than half of Red Bull’s victories – more specifically, 52 – have come from pole position. However, the squad have won a race from as low as 14th on the grid – Verstappen turning this spot into the top step of the podium in Belgium in 2022. It was a momentous day for Verstappen and Red Bull in Canada -- 26 -- Meanwhile, more than a quarter of Red Bull’s victories have spearheaded a one-two finish. The first of these 26 perfect results came in China in 2009 via Vettel and Webber, with the most recent coming in Miami in 2023 via Verstappen and Perez. -- 17 -- Red Bull’s most successful season in terms of race wins was the 2022 campaign, in which they triumphed 17 times. Verstappen took 15 of those victories, while Perez contributed two. FACTS AND STATS: Red Bull match Mercedes’ best-ever season start as Hamilton takes 10th Montreal podium -- 4 -- Only four other teams have secured more than 100 wins in the history of F1. This group comprises Williams (114), Mercedes (125), McLaren (183) and Ferrari (242). -- 9 -- If Red Bull win again at the upcoming Austrian Grand Prix, the team would take 10 victories in a row for the first time. They previously won nine on the bounce with Vettel during the second half of his final title-winning season in 2013. via Formula 1 News https://www.formula1.com
