hihi! I've become a huge fan of weeping rosemary, and would like to ask when you're releasing the full game! Aside from that, the game is beautiful and so interesting to me. It reminds me of a few other little rpgmaker games I've played, and it feels really polished and complete! Even if it's just a demo! The ending gave me chills, and I can't wait to find out more! I'll do my best to try supporting your project in the future when I have the financing to do so :)

I'm so happy that you feel that way about Weeping Rosemary, to see it reminds you of others is such an honor, since the demo was my first time making a game!

As for the release date of the full game!! I am still unsure, but I am going to estimate that it will probably be sometime next year!

Because the demo was very rushed, and now that I'm graduated from uni, I want to take this chance to really flesh out and give the game the detail I feel it deserves, so if life doesn't throw out any curveballs - I would ideally like for the game to be released in May, as a way to celebrate the demo, but it all depends on what happens, since I am working on this game by myself!

Until then, I will try and keep everyone updated on progress & everything! Thank you so much!!

Kazuha was a mainstay on my team for like a solid two years but then Sumeru came out and I became a dendro main 💔 last year’s summer island event had me in my feelings so deeply, you have no idea

I think Alhaitham is one of the funniest characters ever. I love characters who would piss me off if they were real. Probably my best built character even though I use Harbinger of Dawn on him

Honestly I love all of the Sumeru characters so so so much the 3.0-3.2 story was just so damn good. I am obsessed with the Tighnari&Collei&Cyno found family dynamic. I honestly don’t care about Fontaine LMAO I want to stay in Sumeru

Right now my main team is Zhongli (shield) Alhaitham (main DPS) Nahida (sub-Dendro) Raiden Shogun (E bot).

Star Rail faves:

SR is still pretty new so my favorite characters are basically the ones that I like using the most.

Jing Yuan is my best built character. The amount of time I spent on relic farming ohmygod. I also have his signature weapon 😎 one day I would like to e1 him. Story wise I think he’s a really funny character and I also love his English voice actor so much

I think Asta is such a funny character and she has managed to surprise me a couple of times in some of the space station star quest. Also she is just so damn useful as a support character and I need to build her more

I’m obsessed with the Blade & Dan Heng dynamic. I haven’t started the latest story quest yet so no spoilers plsss. I pulled Blade on the first day of his banner but I have 0 resources for him so he hits like a wet napkin rn but that’s okay baby take your time. I’m now saving up to hopefully get Dan Heng IL 🤞🏼🤞🏼

So far I’ve had pretty good luck on my pulls ❤️❤️ I got I think Gepard? i forgor exactly when I tried pulling for Seele but I was able to get JY pretty early on and I won the 50/50 for LC and Blade 💯💯 god I hope I get IL. no I have no idea what team to put him in

Obviously my team changes around a lot depending on the enemy weakness but generally I run Clara/Gepard, Jing Yuan as main DPS, Luocha as healer, Asta as support

so after i posted my fic for the guardian 520 day exchange i was complaining to a rl friend that i wanted to write but wasn't untired enough to pick up any of my weilan longfics and i didn't know what else to do, and they were like (joking): i think you should write a crack sex fic about how bees fuck interact with plants so plants can have plant sex reproduce. and i went (extremely serious): OH MY GOD I CAN REALLY DO SOMETHING PAINFUL WITH THAT ACTUALLY

anyway. this fic takes place in a world where high-ranking men (ministers, military generals, etc) will check for childbirth / fertility / heir-having compatibility with a potential spouse (wife) by making sure a pregnancy takes before actually committing to a marriage. but it's also seen as improper to be physically intimate in any way (casual skin-to-skin touching included) before even getting engaged, which is where intermediaries come in (the bee, in the original situation). intermediaries are employed by specific houses (kind of socially parallel to fancy brothels) to service individual members of the potential couple — basically the guy jerks off into a cup that the intermediary collects and delivers to another intermediary who does a *gestures vaguely* insemination process of some kind. and sometimes if the guy is having trouble, the intermediary helps.

perhaps you have already guessed, but in this fic, shen wei works as a sex intermediary (cue pun on "envoy" lol). zhao yunlan is some kind of high-ranking guy who keeps requesting shen wei and then not going through with the marriage (because nothing takes and also because he's got the hots for this hot, professional intermediary), until now, when zhao yunlan is looking to be engaged to zhu hong, and part of him wants it to go through. which means: so much shen wei pining, zhu hong getting the guy instead of shen wei (i am SOOOOO excited to play with this reversal), lots of shen wei vs his wants vs his duty themes, and a really deliciously high-stakes version of the hot-and-cold game (physically close but emotionally distant) that we see shen wei play with zhao yunlan and shen wei's own desires in early canon. and also porn of course 🥰

Is the Witness cutscene viewable to people who did not pay for access to the season (or will it be post-year)? Like people who only bought the expansion and not the season pass? I know they shove important story and lore info behind timegated paywalls constantly (reason I hate the season model), but that seems like a really especially vital scene I would hope would be viewable in-game by everyone

Right now, it's only a part of the season. Obviously it's available for free online on their official and non-official channels, but in-game it's only for those that have Season of the Deep, for now, since it's a part of this season.

As for the future, honestly no clue. I will assume yes because of one simple fact: you will no longer be able to buy the past seasons when Lightfall year ends. That would mean that only people who bought the season during this year would continue to have access to the cutscene going forward, but no new players would have the same access, which kinda defeats the purpose of having it accessible in the game later.

So I can assume that they might be working on some universally accessible cutscene viewer that will allow all players to see cutscenes from content no longer in the game, regardless of whether they've previously purchased it or not. That's the best scenario because it would mean we'd get all other cutscenes in the game too. The middle scenario is that only the Witness cutscene will be viewable somewhere as part of another mission or some quest, also without having to have purchased Season of the Deep (since you won't be able to once TFS starts: technically you'll be able to purchase Lightfall so maybe it will require you to at least have purchased that, but the season itself will no longer exist).

We'll have to wait for more info on that. As of now, I would assume that once this year is done and the season is no longer purchasable, the cutscene will be a part of content that is available to everyone. While it's still purchasable, it's only in-game for those that bought it, but can be viewed with no problem on their official channel (and elsewhere).
