hugh campbell is literally the tallest member of the boys in the show and it's one a my favorite details<3

they rarely show it off and tend to use camera angles and posture (hughie boi i see you constantly slouching--LOOK AT HIM~<3<3<3 just casually *unintentionally* making butcher appear is *actual size*--) to play up or downplay/switch up height differences, but i kinda love that hughie went from being the second shortest member (comics) of the boys to the literal tallest<3 (butcher was generally in the middle with homie just casually being a head taller than him--, frenchie and mm being the taller guys on the team, love sausage of course being the biggest guy when there~<3<3<3 he still is btw--)

Rolfe actually did not make Earl, despite what he tries to say. He found Earl for sale in a thrift store around the time Showbiz was hiring for another entertainer and impulsively bought him thinking he would give him an extra edge in the hiring pool. Whether Earl was already sentient when Rolfe bought him or something magical happened and Rolfe's "love" brought him to life overnight remains to be seen, but despite their argumentative natures, they've both grown genuine soft spots for each other over time. Rolfe actually has trouble sleeping at night without knowing Earl's nearby.

When Earl was first cursed and brought to life, he and Rolfe were absolutely at odds with each other; Earl was bitter that Rolfe had given up on their act together so quickly, and Rolfe generally did not appreciate having insults hurled at him by a puppet that had been alive for approximately 5 minutes.

Over time, they found each other to be a sort of odd comfort for one another for what was otherwise a pretty lonely existence. When Rolfe's having a particularly hard time on a full moon, he knows he can rely on Earl to be a source of distraction, and Earl knows that for as flaky as Rolfe seems to be, he has a penchant for being surprisingly reliable.
