Yeah I personally had no serious complaints about Paris. Even lucky w nice weather. It was staggering to see the amount of tourists even at an off season! Great all around experience, but do recognize that a short trip/visit is a skewed version of a place. And I'll totally back you, I mean visually its just dreamy. Trivia tidbits for all - did you know that France is the most visited country in the world and that the government price controls baguettes? Thats so cool you speak French to that level. I can only claim moderate Español, studying up to two years through college. And to be fair I think I referenced my trip destination as the "wifey's motherland" ha so it probably didnt totally register. Side note I miss watching her games 🙁.

Ok I do now think that after the new GH chapter I am entitled to compensation via free language lessons or something. Sweet suffering Jesus 🙇‍♀️. Like I saw your warning and Im also always onboard w angst for plot development and whatnot. But that entire read was so much worse than I couldve envisioned! Yes still nothing very interesting in the top 15. Some good upsets (Harvad-IU for example) outside of that but sometimes that's more just because those 15-25 spots is in essence a revolving door for the top 15-35 actually. Excited for us vs UNC though!

Genuinely wish the part where Hugo discusses Parisian cemeteries was longer. I particularly think the part where he mentions Père-Lachaise as a prestigious burial place is interesting. Especially since Père-Lachaise has become a cemetery where a lot of famous people are buried and a popular tourist attraction these days.
