I did something today that I rarely do. I had lunch in a restaurant. Alone. I looked around, as my nosy ass often does, and there were 5 others eating lunch alone. I love being home alone, I love going shopping alone. I love doing things that can be done alone, alone. But, having a meal is so hard to do alone. When I eat alone I sit at my desk and work or take a mini-break. But, it felt SO good to get away from my desk. Sit quietly, read my book and just eat. No child asking to open a straw or to go to the bathroom 5 mins into my meal. It was nice. I don't do it often but now, I kinda want to eat alone more often! ✨✨✨✨ I've forgotten what eating a meal alone feels like. My Husband eats alone all the time and he loves it! When it comes to their life since welcoming baby Jackson, Tori and Zach Roloff have been more than willing to share their story — and that includes all the intimate details!

On last night’s episode of Little People, Big World, the new parents attended Tori’s 34-week ultrasound and got confirmation that their son has achondroplasia — the same form of dwarfism that Zach has — and learned that Tori may need to change her birth plans because of his condition.

Baby Jackson was born on May 12, weighing 9 pounds, 1 ounce and measuring in 20.5 inches long; while they confirmed that baby Jackson has dwarfism, both Tori, 26, and Zach, 27, made it clear that they are ready for any challenges that may present themselves as a result of his difference.

“You have to encourage a dwarf child a little more because it will take them five steps to do what others can do in two,” Zach recently explained, adding that he’s not worried about his boy. “The world is changing. People are more open to diversity. Whatever he wants to do, we’re going to find a way to help him do it. That’s our job in life now.”
