Hey gang. Just a heads up to check colouring books thoroughly before you buy them. I just skimmed through a colouring book in Tesco and bought it, only to find out it has ai in it. Not all the pages though, some are fine! It seems they're only using a few ai pages in hopes people won't notice.

Headcanon that Walburga was such a toxic boy mom that she had a blog in the 2000s and 2010s about her "Obedient Children" and it was lowkey super popular, and it had tons of (I don't know what people that like blogs are called, it was before my time) (not really, but I wasn't allowed to have internet access until I was like 10, and even then I still thought YouTube was only for cat videos) (I'm so off topic but oh well) anyway. It was super popular, and she like, ended up writing a book and maybe they even got a reality show. And that's why so many people thought Sirius and Regulus had a perfect family, when in actuality, they had a horrified childhood and homelife. And, once Sirius ran away, he started trying to expose his mother and the truth about their lives, but, since Walburga was so popular in the parenting world, no one believed him, cause by that point, Walburga had already made up lies about him and all that. And it wasn't until Regulus, "My perfect boy" as Walburga had referred to him time and time again, came out and started saying the same shit that Sirius did, that people started to think more on it and realized that the whole thing did seem a bit sketchy.

I've been watching a lot of Kate + 8 lately, and I remember being a kid and people saying that they had a perfect life and family

Just a little sick and tired of young couples who comfortably don't live paycheck to paycheck bragging about their bare-bones, greyscale, minimalistic houses on social media like they're independently wealthy. The ACTUAL rich upperclass of centuries past would laugh so hard at you.

Trying to figure out how to phrase it, but I've come across a particular side of Autism Parent content about getting haircuts in particular and while some of them are about empowering the person getting their haircut and giving advice on how to create a less traumatizing environment, some of them just baffle me

"We have to hold him down and cut his hair as quickly as possible" but why??

Like, I get wanting your kid to look well groomed and that sometimes hair needs to be cut to maintain it's health. This makes sense

But why are we forcing these tiny humans who are using all of their communication skills to fell you to knock it off to endure such an uncomfortable experience just for aesthetics? Especially when it comes to the use of clippers on kids with sensory issues

And I have short hair that is cut with clippers despite my sensory discomfort with them, so I get that sometimes certain desires get put over certain discomforts, but why are you deciding that this is an appropriate trade off for your child?

Does your kid, who is crying and screaming and lashing out, really need a buzz cut that badly and do you really need to record it?
