Jonny, Nastya, Ashes, Ivy, and Brian were mech’d by Dr. Carmilla. Carmilla is a vampire and the band used to be Dr. Carmilla and the Mechanisms. She has her own lore and music, her actress is Maki Yamazaki and she started the band.

Tim seems to have been mech’d by the mechs, after Carmilla left.

Raphaella and Marius seem to have joined the crew already mech’d. (We may learn more about Marius mech’ing as Kofi Young is still writing about him).

Once Upon a Time (in Space) is about a war to take over as much as possible by King Cole. It features characters and stories from European fairytales (plus Scheherzade).

Ulysses Dies at Dawn is about a planet where people’s brains are extracted from their bodies when they die to be used in the computer that runs everything. It’s about the freedom of death and having a choice over what happens to you (the Good Death). It features Greek myth characters (Ulysses is the only Roman name they use afair).

High Noon Over Camelot is a space western that features Arthurian characters. It’s about how people hurt each other because they are different and morality.

The Bifrost Incident is Norse myth characters being consumed by Lovecraftian entities. Also about death and morality.

It’s all about death and morality.

None of the mechs are morally “good” they are all grey. They live for so so long. It’s all about death and morality.

Those four albums have one story across the whole album. Tales to bd Told and Tales to be Told Volume 2 are each composed of songs that are their own stories, although many are related to the larger stories, whether that be the mechs’ stories or the album stories. They also have fiction on their website [link]. Frankenstein is its own story but not a full length album.

Death to the Mechanisms is what it says on the tin in terms of new information we get.

A/N : this post is to set up context for the rest of the series (i have to set up the lore so everything makes sense lmao). this is my first time writing for luke, i promise i’ll get better at it with time :))

you essentially grew up at camp, having arrived at the young age of five

monsters began creeping their way into your life ever since you learned to speak. death seemed to be drawn to you.

first was the dracanea disguised as a nanny that tried to eat you while your mother was out of the house (she was a florist that prepared bouquets for funerals). you only survived because the dracanea was interrupted by your mortal older brother. when he saw you on the ground with the nanny about to wrap her hands around your tiny throat, he screamed so loud that the dracanea fled immediately. he then called the cops on her, but she’d long since disappeared. you were only three at the time.

the final straw was when an Aeternae attacked you on the preschool playground. it lept out from the large bushes near the fence and nearly ripped your face off. you would have died if your teacher, a satyr in disguise, hadn’t scared it off. 

your preschool teacher, Mr. Maciolli, escorted your to camp the next day. he had a long talk with your mother, who didn’t put up much of a fight to keep you at home. you attracted trouble that she had no time to deal with. 

with that, you were uprooted from your normal life and transported into the world of the Olympian gods. 

you were the youngest camper by far. the older campers took you under their wing, helping you adjust to camp life as best as they could. they gave you a wooden sword and taught you the basics of combat. they made sure to keep you away from anyone who could cause you harm. and most importantly, the many unclaimed demigods that you met while staying in Cabin 11 taught you that the gods didn’t give a flying fuck about their kids.

though it was difficult at first, you were happy. sure, you missed your mom sometimes, but you reminded yourself that she hadn’t been interested in keeping you around anyways. 

your first five years at camp were relatively peaceful. you developed your personality and learned your likes and dislikes, just like any “normal” kid. 

however, there were occasional incidents that were absolutely unexplainable. 

the worst one of all was this: a son of ares kept throwing pebbles at you while you were supposed to be picking strawberries. no matter what you said, he wouldn’t quit. after a particularly large pebble hit you in the back of the head, you turned around and screamed “stop it!”

the kid immediately collapsed, his skin turning pale. the other campers rushed him to the infirmary, and the apollo kids immediately got to work. 

they concluded that his heart had stopped. he had been dead to the world for almost a whole minute. if not for the nectar that had been poured down his throat, he probably wouldn’t have made it.

campers did their best not to anger you after that. nobody could explain what had happened, but clearly, you had caused the son of ares to have a close brush with death.

you were claimed by Thanatos, the god of death, at the age of ten. 

your social life turned on its head after that.

basically everyone except for Chiron and Mr. D avoided you like you were the walking Black Plague (which you kinda were)

after getting claimed, your powers increased. you could touch a small plant and kill it instantly if you wished to. wherever you sat, the grass would wither around you. you could even kill small animals with a simple touch (only if you wished it to die). 

nobody wanted to risk crossing you and getting killed. so nobody tried to get close to you. they would say the occasional “hello”, but that was it. 

you grew to resent not only your father, but all of the gods. they had everything, it seemed, while you had nothing. they didn’t even have the heart to check in on their own children. 

you learned to thrive without any companions. you spent your days sparring against invisible enemies, building muscle, and developing stamina. you rarely conversed with the other members of Cabin 11, staying in your bunk in the far corner of the cramped space. during your down time, you killed flowers, dried and pressed them, and used them to make collages. 

things were relatively stagnant for awhile.

until you turned fourteen. 

at age fourteen, luke castellan arrived at camp, and changed your life forever.

the bucks do, as reffed in that blurb, turn the car around from going to wisconisn to go back to wyoming. end up having to get a hotel somewhere for the night so they don't drive more or less 20 hours roundtrip themselves into an early grave. but yeah.

swing josie by gale's sister’s house on the way back to sheridan. don't explain all the details but have to give her *some* explanation when they go from headed them to wisconsin to now suddenly back in wyoming.

maybe don't explain that this baby is her biological sibling right away but just. say that someone they know needs help with their baby, and that they gotta go back because they don't want him to be in the hospital by himself. pretty word salady but they're exhausted and she's five so. it is what is for the time being.

get to the hospital and get scrubbed in to down to the nicu with natalie to go see him. john's head still feels like his head is still in in spin-mode to the extent that he's not really processing everything fully.

but gale sees that itty bitty baby in his little nicu incubator with a little tube in his nose and is just. distraught.

has to sit down after a minute because its making his chest hurt. he just can't fathom how little he is and how he's in *danger* and how connected he already feels to him.

he gets reallll "woowoo" about the fact that he finally brought up wanting another kid to john all of 20 minutes before they got the call about him. feels like he somehow already intrinsically knew about him before he actually knew.

so kinda the reverse of how it was with josie- gale instantly feels bonded to him and john has a little bit of a harder time.

loves him so much already, is worried sick with all the preemie health stuff he's got going on. its just hard to process how fast everything is happening. if him and gale had sat down and decided to go the infant adoption route that'd be one thing.

in that case he'd have a lot more time to work through his hurdles re: being scared of having a baby, of being responsible for someone's life from scratch etc etc. but here he only had the drive back from wisconsin.

calls his mom a lot. calls curt a lot. that helps.

lil guy doesn't have a name for the first week of his life lmao. they just call him buddy and baby boy and then john is sitting up w/ gale one night and asks if he's given any thought to his name.

they land on micah curtis. micah as a riff off of michael the archangel, and curtis after their best friend (:

john's mom comes out from wisconsin and when she's there at the hospital that's when both the bucks go to gale's sister's house and have to explain to josie- the best they can- the full details.

poor peanut is so conflicted about Everything. has been confused about not seeing either of her dads in the same room for almost two weeks. is excited about having a baby sibling- but confused about why if he's /her/ sibling from her mom why she can't see her mom.

just a lot of Big Feelings, which gale and john handle the best that they can. good dads <3

i think it finally really Clicks for john when micah is doing okay enough that theyre allowed to hold him. looks at that lil guy in his lil nicu baby beanie sleeping on his chest and just. yeah. big thats my son, i would do anything for you feelings.

john gets really into sitting by his lil incubator and reading to him. nice way to bond that isn't super overwhelming. makes gale heart happy to watch. his boyssss.

this is getting super long lmao so ill cut if off here. but i wove micah- and rachel and i have developed a looottt of lore about him as a teenager/young adult (specifically re: him and wyatt- helen's baby with nash/ev's step son). so feel free to come prompt me to yap more!

I assume you mean aus for HSR specifically? I've got a lot more for genshin, but to stop myself from going on massive tangents, I'll just stick to HSR. I'll keep them all as summaries and go into more depth if there's any interest. Ok here we go:

Chimera Yanqing has kinda become my whole thing now, but I've never actually mentioned the other characters that I've also made chimera forms for. Namely Jing Yuan.

He doesn't really have any lore...? Unlike Yanqing, I was too focused on making him look pretty, which is easy because it's Jing Yuan. I'll make an update if I add anything more to his lore, cause I'd hate to just leave him unfinished forever. I do have a chimera Yunli au too, which I'll also save for another time. (Also keep in mind that he has wayyyy more fur than what I've shown. It just would've made his actual form unclear. He is very, very fluffy, canonically)

Mara-struck Yanqing (aka How the general ate the cabbage). Made a whole fic for this one, the plot is in the pudding, and by pudding I mean my ao3 lol. Instead of deflecting Jingliu's ult, Yanqing is instead killed and mara-stricken, and everything falls apart from there. Keeping it vague since it's still in progress. As of writing this, I'm three chapters in, so check it out if you're interested <3

Band au. I actually forgot about this one until I went through my list. Basically, It's a modern au where the high cloud quintet were a huge band back in ye olden days of the mid 1980s until their downfall, where the lead singer (Baiheng) is killed in an accident, triggering a series of unfortunate fates for 3 of the 4 remaining members. Jing Yuan is the only member still working in the industry and adopted Yanqing roughly 20 years after the the HCQ's fallout. One day, though, after years of no contact, Blade comes back into Jing Yuan's life, seeking refuge from law enforcement, and it all tumbles out of control from there after Jing Yuan accepts. The rest of the story would follow a very suspicious Yanqing wondering what the deal is with his dad's weird new boyfriend, and eventually reuniting the 4 remaining members (getting the band back together, as Phineas would say). There is SO much lore for this one, but it would take up this entire post to explain, so I'll probably just make it into its own post (with designs ofc). Tbh I haven't done as much work on this one as the others simply because I just don't know that much about music? Zel does though, so if I ever come back to it, I can go to him as a consultant.

Kind of an odd one, but I'm including it since it sorta counts, and I've become pretty fond of it over time. Mom Lumine au(s) Xiaother being Yanqing's dads is one of my favorite little crack aus. This au is the brainchild of imagining Yanqing as Lumine's child instead, but me as the author not enjoying xiaolumi as much. Thus, this was born. There's not really a story? Just a bunch of loosely put together concepts with multiple potential narratives that I find fun. Most of the time I default Childe as Yanqing's bio dad. In a weird way, it makes sense in my head? Yanqing resembles Lumine and uses a sword, and has that same go-getting, battle-hungry attitude as Childe, with all the knock-outs to boot. I mainly imagine chilumi as this interstellar crime duo; the Bonnie and Clyde of space, if you will. Because, honestly, if Yanqing's parents are ever to be revealed, would it not be the funniest thing for them to turn out to be criminals? I think it's hilarious, because Yanqing himself would be mortified.

Guardian Blade/Stellaron Hunter Yanqing au. These names are kinda lazy cause I usually don't make official titles for them unless their a fic, which this one happens to be. Here, Yanqing is an abomination of abundance, and as my interpretation usually goes, the only person who knows about this is Jing Yuan. Him and one other - blade, who was confided in the secret shortly after Jing Yuan had taken baby Yanqing in. Jing Yuan made Blade promise that, should the truth ever be uncovered and Jing Yuan punished, Blade is to take Yanqing and protect him. And years down the line, when the truth does finally reveal itself, Blade fulfills his promise. Theoretically, Yanqing would then join the stellaron hunters, albeit unenthusiastically. I haven't actually made any plans for that concept outside of a single one-shot. I still need to finish the actual fic first lmao.

Mara-struck Jing Yuan au. Probably the least original one I have to offer, because there's nothing particularly unique about it aside from one little twist I added that I think differentiates it, and that's that Yanqing doesn't actually kill Jing Yuan, or vice versa. Instead, Jing Yuan, in his current state, attacks everyone and everything except for Yanqing, and actually goes out of his way to keep Yanqing away from danger. The way I rationalize this (and this is me stretching the mara lore a LOT) is that Yanqing is so important to Jing Yuan that he creates a sort of blind spot to the mara when present; he is both innately precious and harbors only positive memories in Jing Yuan's mind, so in a way, he retroactively contradicts the way mara-struck!Jing Yuan would normally perceive him, seeing Yanqing as something to protect rather than attack (i hope that made any sense </3). This would probably never actually happen in canon. I just really like the idea of Jing Yuan's love for his son being so strong that it stays with him even after he's gone mad and can no longer remember what Yanqing means to him.

Progenitor au. Saved this one for last because it's been occupying my entire brain for the past few days. It's based on Dillongoo's Progenitor Albedo series, and by based, I mean it's just the same au, same universe and everything, but HSR. I won't go into the details because I'm planning to make it its own dedicated post as well, but I think its safe to say its becoming my favorite au out of all of these. I already have some designs and original lore cooked up, so hopefully I can post about it soon.

I think that's all of them? Debatable if some of these even count as aus, but who cares. I hope you enjoyed my rambles and found my ideas interesting enough to read through. I'm hoping to eventually give them some more life and make actual content with them.

Season 3 time!

Ghosts!

And oh baby are they coming out swinging with all that juicy drama. Prepare yourselves ya’ll, im about to read way too much into things.

How come we’ve never seen Ray?? He’s henrys partner; given cop lore i would think he’d be a pretty significant person in his and probably shawns life, especially since he seems to be a voice of reason trying to get henry not to go through with arresting his son. Does he show up later? I don’t remember.

“Oo i have rights, thatll be new and fun” -i know that this line is probably just shawn being a bit dramatic but like, it cut me deep.

“This officially ends your chances of being a cop” -its just really sad that henry thinks thats whats going to make him rethink his actions. But also, i think this means Shawn was thinking of going down that path up until his mom left, because maddy even says when she left she thought he was going to be okay. Given Shawns character its kind of surprising he didn’t rebel against his dad long before that. Personally, i think shawn knew his arguments with his dad made things worse between his parents so he did what his dad wanted to keep the peace. Then when maddy left, well, there was no reason to keep the peace anymore.

Now, the henry of it all. This just makes me so sad. And i know they kind of say it’s the reason he retired later, that he regretted it, but i cant believe he ever thought this would “scare him straight,” and the way its shot certainly doesn’t seem like henry ever tried to connect with him. Like, if they wanted us to sympathize with henry later, they could have given us a shot of henry having second thoughts or even explained how Shawn was using the fact that henry was a cop to get away with breaking the law because he never thought his own dad would arrest him. They could have explained how shawns actions were becoming more and more reckless and henry didn’t know what else to do. But i think the reason they didn’t was because shawn is our protagonist and they didn’t want to muck up his character that much. I think it could’ve added some depth, personally. The way its shot though, it just makes henry look like an ass, sticking to the law unwaveringly without any remorse. (Sidenote-i can see how gus’s parents would think shawn was a bad influence)

I love that each person in the show is like a dork for something. Juliet has weird football facts, carlton has westerns and guns, shawn has a few but i think favors movies, and gus has literally everything

I love the mystery of this ep! They make you think shawns solving one case (the ghost), and then you find out he is the ghost and they make you think Shawn had that one plan but then psych!turns out hes really looking for dirt the whole time. Also, shawn has to know quite a bit about business to pull that summary out of his hat. I might add it to his list of random skills.

Why would she have to clear henry for twisting his ankle? Also, now that i think about it, henry doesn’t seem the type to 1. Actually talk to a shrink or 2. Think highly enough of them to want to date one. So i have to imagine young maddy was a smoke show and he lost all sensibility.

I love that she calls him goose. Thats such a cute little nickname- that i need to know the origin of. Was this a goose and maverick thing? Was she maverick? Also, we get some more insight into shawns gifts because it implies he can remember everything hes heard thanks to his mother. So thats neat, and a cool way to show his “powers” didn’t necessarily all come from henry. Its nice to see maddy gave him something other than abandonment issues.

Ohmygod its so sad that shawn thinks his dad would sabotage him with his own mother jesus christ this family.

I wanted to end this with my thoughts on Maddy. I love that we see bits of shawns personality that came from her. He got her charisma, certain aspects of her humor, certain ways of speaking (like when carlton says, “then you wouldnt be opposed to me patting you down,” and maddy deadpan replied, “actually im very opposed to that.” It just sounded like something shawn would say). i love how the episode frames the narrative from shawns perspective too by putting maddy on a pedestal. Shes a very likable person. She takes his side when he tells her henry never told him she was coming, tells henry to buy him a phone, goes toe to toe with lassie and keenly gets him to open up.

But come on. This lady sucks.

First of all, SHAWN HASNT SEEN HIS MOM IN 3 YEARS, mind you the show says they’ve been doing Psych for about a year, so thats two years where he’s bouncing from job to job and not once did he visit her. And she was out of the country apparently and never told him she was back- why wouldn’t you let your kid know you were coming back to the country? She couldn’t shoot him an email or texted?

I would argue she is almost a worse parent by the sheer neglect alone. She gives off the impression of someone having never wanted to be a mom. she never seems to be around when shawn was little, we never see or hear of shawns mom sticking up for him against henrys teachings, and she straight up abandoned him the first chance she saw. And then on top of that, fails to communicate with him.

Lastly, I cant believe maddy (a psychologist mind you!) never talked to shawn about any of this years ago. She assumed henry would explain it all, but what part of his personality ever gave her the impression that henry could have an open and honest conversation with Shawn? And shawn says they used to talk all the time, but, like, how long ago because it seems like they haven’t had any real conversations in a long time. So its not just that she left him physically, but she also left him on his own to handle the emotional burden, because his dad certainly couldn’t talk about it. Shes the one who left shawn to pick up the pieces, not henry.

I mean its no wonder shawn struggles to form long lasting relationships.

I watched The Last Unicorn (1982) with very, very little prior knowledge of the film. And I wasn't planning to, but I ended up taking notes because wow. This movie. It's something.

The very little prior knowledge I had was as follows: it's an old animated film about a unicorn and I've occasionally heard people talk about it fondly. That's it, that's literally all I had going into this thing. It was not nearly enough to prepare me.

Love that it's not immediately clear what the "red bull" actually is yet. Is it a literal bull? Is it a raging fire? Is it the inescapable march of industrial progress?? Gotta stay tuned to find out. (edit: it was literally just a bull and I need to stop reading symbolism into every little thing).

Ok ngl, the "Man's Road" sequence was actually fire, despite (or perhaps because of) the 80's cheese.

Love how the witch's carnival arc touches on the idea of truth vs. wishful delusion. There's a beautiful irony in a movie about a literal unicorn talking about the importance of staying grounded in what is real and truly beautiful.

Oh wow. She chose to save her own kind and return to her forest even though she loved Lir. This is actually very bittersweet and--GOTDANGIT GERRY BECKLEY, NOT NOW!!!

Closing thoughts: This movie was an absolute trip and I'm probably going to think it was a fever dream I once had after some time has passed. It's also the only movie I can think of that I would actually want a remake/remaster of. The story was great, though it jumped around from place to place so quickly that it was sometimes hard to follow what was happening. I like the characters a lot (mostly Shmendrick tbh but they're all good), and I wish there had been more time to let them interact with each other. You can see the potential for chemistry between the different personalities, but it's stifled by moments of awkward voice acting and the strange, jittery character animation. With more time to breathe and better animation, this story would really be something amazing. I'm actually very interested in reading the original novel it was based on now, I'll have to see if I can get my hands on a copy. All in all, The Last Unicorn (1982) is a mind-boggling experience with surprisingly deep themes combined with what I can only assume is what you see when you're on acid. If you have any interest, I would highly recommend seeing this thing for yourself.

OK GAMERS. ITS TIME. CHESIL DEAL WITH PANDEMONIUM BACKSTORY. for those of you who are new here: this is the fellow doomed to the narrative.

if you haven’t already read pandemoniums lore i suggest doing that first:

sol is also a character in chesils backstory. heres her lore! not a requirement to read to understand but shes my baby:

LETS GET RIGHT INTO IT. I’ll quickly cover his life growing up. Chesil was born into the kingdom of Canema. Ill save Canema lore for another post but heres a quick description. A desert kingdom, located inside the ravines of sandstones cliffs. The ravines were lined with houses carved out from the sandstone, and lead into a crater in the middle. In the massive crater was were the kingdoms royal family and markets were found. Canema was relatively peaceful, apart from the monster problem. Inside these ravines were cave systems loaded with unpleasant creatures who would regularly attack the kingdom. This kingdom has very few magic users in it, the most magic Chesils ever seen is maybe a traveling wizard passing through. This is where Chesils family comes in, they were the kingdoms protectors and monster hunters. (whether or not it was ethical to invade an animals home then wipe them out when they tried to protect themselves is for you to decide.) They were widely famous and known throughout Canema. heres they r!!

First is Otto Mupfordian (biological dad) Winifred (Winnie) Mupfordian (biological sister) and Farrier Mupfordian (dad who married in)  . (chesils biological mom is not super relevant. one day ill make an indepth post on the family lore) Chesil was, well, a bit different from them. He was not your RAHHHHHH KILL DESTROY gym buff. If anything he was the opposite. He was incredibly shy and reserved, and would probably fall over if you asked him to hold a shield. He loved his family more than anything, and they loved him back, but it would be a lie to say he wasn’t living in their shadow. Being born into a famous family, it was a bit hard connecting with other people your age. They either expect you to be Just like your family, or only want to talk to you because they want to meet the legends themselves. Chesil lack of social skills made it hard enough, with all this piled on he tended to isolate himself. In the process of doing this, his family became his only support system. They were all he cared about. Chesil clearly did not inherit the monster hunter title, and turned to a more creative line of work. Doll making. Not children’s toys, but intricate detailed Display dolls. He was quite skillful at it too, and due to his family’s connections, he was able to find frequent commisioners. Ok. Time jump. Chesil is 20 years old. He’s not completely miserable per-say, but depressed and lonesome. At least he has his work and family, right? (incorrect buzzer sound) WRONG! Chesil has DEAD FAMILY SYNDROME. The Mupfordians were frequently invited to royal parties, and attended them accordingly. Chesil rarely joined along, parties were overstimulating and Not his thing. One night, his family went out to one. For reference, the Mupfordians lived on top of one of the cliffs, and had a path carved out for their carriage to travel down. Would be a shame if the path became unstable from wear. But haha im sure its fine. Chesil woke up the next morning to see his family had not returned yet. Not to concerning, maybe they got drunk, and decided to stay at an inn overnight. More time passes. No sight of them. Surely they would of sent a message by now if they planned to stay out longer. So chesil decided it was time to head into town an investigate. He didn’t make it very far. Following the road down, he noticed a part of it had fallen away. When he looked over the edge he saw something much worse, the carriage his family had taken to the party. And well. His Family. They did not survive the wreck. His entire world had fallen apart in the span of a few seconds. Chesil, who’s life revolved around his family, did not handle this very well at all. Sure people stopped by to pay their condolences, but he had no connection to any of them. This is where Pandemonium shows up.

Well. Kinda. Up until the week of their funeral, a strange pink cat kept appearing to Chesil. Only ever in the corner of his eye, and never for to long. He thought he was just going crazy. During his family’s funeral, he had a moment of Fuck. This is to much, I cant be here. I cant watch this. I cant do Any of this. I have nothing left. So. He planned to go home kill himself. Chesil snuck out of the funeral early and went home, and started on his note. (visuals for the audience. here is his room. he is writing the note at that desk above the bed.)

While writing the note, he once again saw the pink cat, appearing in his window. (like. INSIDE of the glass.) Instead of immediately disappearing this time, the cat started to move across the glass, and into another reflective surface in the room, and another, and another. Chesil confused and frustrated by this creature he had been haunted by for the past week, got up and chased him. He ran downstairs following this beast as he appeared in different surfaces, until the creature went inside his family’s blacksmith room. He hadn’t dared step foot in this room since they passed, it was to much of a reminder of everything they made. With a deep breath, Chesil stepped in. The cat was no longer in sight as he slowly walker through the room. He called out to the creature, to no avail.  When he made it to the end of the room, he noticed one of his family’s shield’s had fallen to the floor. This is where Pandemonium fully reveals himself in the reflection of the shield, and speaks for the first time. “You caught me!” He laughs, “Now its my turn to catch you.” And with that, it reaches a paw through the shield and grabs Chesil, pulling him inside. Erm. I never drew the room Pandemonium pulls chesil into, but I imagine it looks like this. but minus the walls and instead all these stained glass panels are floating in a black void.

Chesil finds himself at the top of the stained glass stair panels, and no cat to be seen. He calls out again, to once again be met with silence. Unsure of what to do, Chesil starts down the stairs, until he is at the round panel at the bottom.  (for the audience, i imagine pandemonium is on the under side of the glass panels, following chesil. heres UGLY OLD ART OF THAT. pretend theres a panel between them.)

This is where Pandemoniums walks to the right side up, and Chesil sees him Not in a reflective surface, but in his physical form. Chesil, who afore mentioned has little experience with magic, is Beyond confused, he questions the cat in a panicked tone, asking who he is. And finally the cat answers. He introduces himself as Chatté. (french word for cat. a simple and much less threatening name then Pandemonium.) Someone who is here to help Chesil! And maybe Chesil could help Him im return. Suddenly, the stained glass stairs start moving around them, and form into different shapes, so “Chatté” can share his story of Woe. (once again to the audience, the story im about to share is a Lie. Pandemonium made it up to trick Chesil. Its backstory didn’t change LOL.) He tells the tale of three wizards, who trapped him inside the mirror plane, which is why Chesil has only seen him through Reflections. Pandemonium desperately wants to be free again! And the only way he can do so is if the wizards are murdered. Then he brings Chesils family into the mix,  Proposing a deal. Three lives for three lives. I revive your family, and you go out and kill the wizards to free me in return. We both win! Just dont break the deal haha therewillbeconsquences ANYWAYS. Now Chesil isn’t the violent type, but this is his Only Chance. Its this, or go back and kill himself.  Begrudgingly he accepts. Pandemonium gives him a mirror, and says it will lead him to the location of the first wizard. Once that wizard is defeated, it will show the next, and so on so forth. Heres what the mirror looks like :33 but pretend those jesters chesils skipping around the middle are Pandemonium.

And poof. Chesil is shot back out of the shield, and everything is suddenly back to normal. His family is back in the house, acting like nothing ever happened. Yay! Well partial yay. Chesil now has the whole murder thing to deal with. He was made aware these fights wouldn’t be easy, and he should train himself in advance. Insert training montage here. He asks Winifred to teach him how to properly use a sword, and shes delighted to obviously. Like damn.. Chesils finally taking interest in fighting!!! During all this, Chesil gets a commission request from a theater actor to create a doll line of herself featuring the outfits shes preformed in. This is just like any other job Chesil has had, some random rich person wanting a doll of themselves. Nothing Suspicious Here. This actor goes by the name of Soleil. (YES. THE SOLEIL. erm i never made a proper design for an actor self but heres a small doodle.)

Sol presents herself as flamboyant and incredibly extroverted. She insists on having a close eye on Chesil’s creation process, finding it fascinating. Chesils used to people checking in, but Sol is definitely the most curious customer he’s ever had. Long story short, throughout the course of Chesil killing the first two wizards, they fall in love. (YURIII) Sol opens up to him more n more as he works on her dolls, and he realizes shes more than just Rich Actor! Shes actually just as insecure as he is, and she worries people only like her for the person she is on stage, her exuberant personality is more of an act than reality. they r shitty teen romance minus the teen part its just cheesy. Anyways keep this in mind, BACK TO THE HORRORS. first wizard battle! i actually have whole battle sequences written for each wizard but i am looking at the length of this already and have decided Ok maybe this can wait for another post. but in summary the wizard battles took place in arenas they created. Kinda like a soul gem in madoka where you get Pulled In. its jn an entirely different realm, so the battles themselves were pretty extravagant and had Crazy arenas. The first wizard Chesil had to kill was Etoile.

The battle was successful and Chesil now has to live with that guilt forever. Yayyyyyyyyy. Onto the next victim. A wizard by the name of Lune

This time, Chesil meets him before seeing him in his wizards clothes. Because unfortunately enough, he was Etoiles husband. Lune comes to the Mupfordians after the disappearance of his husband, asking them for help. He had already been to the royal guards, but he knows the Mupfordians are the pro monster hunters, and hopes that they can keep an eye out for Etoile, in the unfortunate scenario where he may of um. Got eaten by a monster. Chesil is sweating his ASS OFF during all of this, amd seeing the consequences of his actions in real time reallyyyy take a blow on his sanity. To have to see this poor grieving husband knowing He Did it and that he was going to have to kill him Next. And the paranoia of getting caught by his Own family is now lingering over him. But haha. In to far now huh? So onwards into the next battle. Chesil fights Lune and wins. Chesils really starting to slip now. Turns out murder is taxiing. BUT IT GETS WORSE. The third wizard is revealed. Its none other than Soleil herself. The person Chesil has spent the past 6 months falling in love with. (bruh.. i have this whole thing in my mind where over the 6 months chesils craftsmenship of the soleil dolls hes been commisioned slowly gets worse n worse until she’s revealed to be the final wizard and chesil COMPLETELY breaks the doll. representative of his mental state throughout the story haha) Seeing her again after finding out is so. hard. Having to pretend everything’s normal when you know the shitstorm that is about to happen. Anyways Chesil invites Soleil out on a date. Somewhere farrrrr out, and the truth gets revealed. Commence Battle.

Unlike Lune and Etoiles battles, its not Super extra and or extravagant, its just Chesil and Soleil in an arena(tho the arena badass as fuck.), fighting with their weapons. Its much more personal and Real. Sol fights back, but is begging Chesil the entire time to stop. That maybe we can find another way. Chesil is fucking LOOSING IT BRO. And after Sol lands a nasty hit on him he Stops. He Cant Do This. He Cant Kill Her. Its To Much. Sol tries to reach out to help him up, but he instead runs off. He’s in a complete panicked state, and doesn’t know what to do. All thats going through his head is he needs to LEAVE. He needs to take his family and RUN. So he does just that. Chesil runs back home Bloody and fucked up from that battle, begging his family to get in the carriage, they are confused and incredibly concerned, but oblige. And down the hill they start, the whole scene is fast and frantic and before you know it the carriage crashes off into the same spot. Or at least it Almost does, as the carriage flys off the hill with everyone inside, it freezes in mid air. Except for Chesil, who slams down into the bottom.

omfg this art is soooo old and a bit outdated. pretend like he has a massive cut on his chest. but i drew this moment.  this whole scene makes me crazy the story Ends how it Began.  looping back to the original carriage crash, to show you cant ever really change fate. it’s Inevitable. Suddenly, the world starts falling apart around him. Like a stage set. Chesil is out of his mind running through this world being torn apart as he goes through it, until he curls himself up in a little ball shaking and sobbing. A familiar voice speaks and gentle paw rests on his own paw, it’s Winifred. She tells him its safe now. Its ok. Look at me. When Chesil retreats out of his shell and looks up at her, her warm smile twists into a cruel one, and the gentle grasp on his hand turns into a much harsher one, snapping back his fingers. Owie. Her whole body contorts as she turns into a much smaller form. A pink cat. Pandemonium. “Trying to run away, are we?” His voice echoes throughout the black emptiness that was once Canema. He laughs and goes on his little villain monologue.  Tsk tsk tsk. Breaking your deal, well, I guess I knew it was coming. It was designed this way after all. Chesil questions what he means by designed. And the true horror of this whole situation is revealed to him. The revived family he had been living with for 6 months? Fake. The wizards? Fake. Soleil…? Fake. Pandemonium had set him up, created a deal he Knew Chesil would fail. Soleil was planted from the beginning. But god, didn’t it make a thrilling story? Wonderful entertainment. You fell for All of it. A tragic love story, having to decide between his family and love. Epic battles. Almost getting caught. Your descent into insanity. It was perfect. But now its over, and you broke the deal by trying to run. It was all an illusion! In fact Chesil, you never left that chair while writing that stupid letter. It all started from the moment you ran down the hallway chasing me. Your body has been rotting in that seat for months. And now your soul is mine, Pandemonium explains. Before Chesil has anytime to process any of this, he is turned into another one of Pandemoniums puppets and shoved into his mind prison.

hehe YUP HIS MIND PRISON IS HIS ROOM. AND HES TIED DOWN TO THE CHAIR WITH VINES. reference to him never leaving the chair and the overgrowth from the plants in his room consuming him. kicks feet back n forth. Now hes spent the last 5 years in puppet hell. n well. Its a bad ending i know. But this is just his backstory Before our cnd campaign started. He was shoved into the party as his puppet self, and a few sessions in his curse was broken (MOST FUN REVEAL OF MY LIFE. NOBODY IN MY PARTY KNEW HE WAS A PUPPET They just thought he was some crazy clown guy. Turns out hes actually a WIMPY LOSER.) And now Chesil continues his story in the campaign, shoved into a prophecy. Not even I will know where his character will go. Shrugs. Hes currently having a joker arc right now for good reasons but i’ll keep you guys updated as the sessions continue....

yes! some of the ones i consider to be foundational to my timeskip bokuto lore since im sleepy:

to preface i am a bokuto lesbian moms believer and i think he is really close with them and continues to rely on them for help navigating his life forever. you will have to pry the way they baby him from me in a fight to the death

he and atsumu are like, the word isnt inverses but theres something about them to me that is the same but different idk, anyway i think theyre friendship is super important to both of them, like theres unspoken understanding between the two of them. soulmateism but for teammates turned friends. one of them has a problem or is experiancing overload the other one already knows and is on it kinda thing. is it realistic? no but i dont care. i think tho, from an outsiders perspective theyre just friendly, or just spend a lot of time together because theyre teammates almost the exact same age, but iykyk.

bokuto to me is someone who can be friends with anyone, but not anyone will be friends with him. i think if you can kick it with someone without prejudice you can kick it with him cause he has a very open heart but not everyone can handle its strength. he is however very genuine with his affection so most people at least get along with him over time if not at first

he is considered a bit of a risk when traveling because of his tendency to wander around paying attention to small details instead of important markers and gets lost

i also think bokuto and aran are best friends because bokuto is practical enough to ease aran's anxiety and aran doesn't hold strangeness against you

i think him and ushijima are work nemesis for a period. why? maybe bokuto retains some of his friendly competition for ushijima from high school and it rubs him the wrong way, maybe bokuto misinterperets ushijima's demeanor as dismissive of him in a way people who dont like him are, who knows, all i know is they one day both decide theyre over it and become ride or die acquaintences like they dont hang out but if you give one of them shit the other with triple homo spike pass you to an early grave

i think bokuto, if he gets upset on the court, is probably gonna get upset at himself, or the lights being a little brighter than he anticipated, or he didn't give the pose he wanted when people took pics on the way in or whatever- when his teammates start yelling at the other team/ref or kicking at the net, hes the one to calmly redirect them to focusing on the next play. all of this to say that if you see him pissed.... its a match for the history books.... im talking turkiye v brazil vnl 2023 vibes- fucking crazy

the little acrobatic tricks he does at the beginning of the jackadlers match is part of my personality. you (furudate) can force me to accept he graduated from university, but you (furudate) will never make me believe he didnt at least try to go to clown school.

also this is slightly less related but bokuto's moms have taken akaashi as one of their own and bokuto gets really upset if they all hangout without him and dont send a selfie of their time together.

i think at somepoint aran explains to him kita's definition of confidence and after that he is better at not shutting down midmatch- he tries to anticipate things he cant anticipate and focus on the parts of the game that remain conistant- but it continues to be hard for him in day to day life- in fact id say that the older he gets the harder time he has

he and kuroo text everday- about everything and nothing- but they continue to be besties

the two have known each other since they were in elementary school/little kids.

kiara is set to become the next ruler of the pride lands, and she wants kovu to be her king.

also- for context, because i'm adding in almost every fairytale even the ones with animals they are explained in a way similar to an Animagus from HP. aka they can turn into whatever animal they're supposed to be opposed to being those permanently.

kovu has saved this girl’s life on more than one occasion.

if you know the lore- these two actually met when they were kids and kiara was exploring the pride lands & the two ran from a group of crocodiles together.

because of who kovu's mom is ( ms zira ) ig he's "technically" considered a VK, but like i could see him also living in auradon because his mom dies pretty soon/early in his life and in the story of the LK

kovu helps kiara realize her flaws and find ways to fix them. a part of their first interaction was him making fun of her for "always doing what daddy says" and when he then sees that she doesn't/didn't really listen to anyone, he basically teaches her abt herself

he says that she doesn't understand how privileged she is compared to everyone that goes against her family/has been banished

at first kiara thinks he's a dick and disregards him entirely, but then she starts noticing how she treats other people n is like "oh shit.. i do kinda just do shit without thinking of the consequences for others"

kiara ends up running into kovu in the pride lands on one of her supposed unsupervised runs around the pride lands

the red section being him denying it and choosing to attempt to move on in order to please his mother, but it never working out???? sjhfdabkud

and the purple part just being him finally admitting all the feelings and wanting to share parts of his life with her

the pink section being about how he's never felt heartbreak before and now that he has her and this feeling he's mourning the loss

although she gets herself into dangerous situations, and though he may not like it, kovu will never force her to change her mind. he knows she's strong willed, its part of what he loves about her and he would never ask her to change herself, he just asks that she always let him join her.

these two are constantly in awe of each other it's actually so adorable. like kiara gets to show kovu so many cool things about the pride lands as well as its people.

they're the type to never run out of things to say. kiara is a biiiigg yapper, kovu's more of a listener ⸺ that and this mf is the type of guy to admire her while she talking, whether that be to him or not. head on his hand n everything, no shame.

strange dreams, the feeling of being unknown

It's been a month since I've been like truly awake. Aurelia can't explain it, and neither can I. It’s like I’m not here at all, or that I’m not strong enough to exist on the same plane as everyone else. But it's not weakness, nor is it some kind of exhaustion.

It’s just a weight unlike anything I’ve felt before. Jumping in and out of reality mentally, but thank god, not physically.

I’ve returned somewhat to being a hermit, being away from everyone else as much as I can. I don’t really understand what’s keeping me away, but maybe I don’t want to know.

The other guardians can't know what’s been going on. If the legion finds out, I don’t imagine Dianite will be very forgiving with how I’ve become. I mean- I don’t know if they miss me. I don’t want my friends to worry, so I’ve told Aurelia to not tell anyone.

When she went to Nibiru, I just told her to say that I was getting some rest, working on things when I got the chance.

And I don’t think I want them to know.

The thing is, I haven’t dreamed like this in a long time.

But they always start the same.

I’m back home on Astrakhiens. A quiet hum develops through the reeds, lacugrove trees and lilypads, accompanied by a ripple that runs across the surface of the lake. I’m drawn to the reflection of the ender nebula on the water’s surface more than I remember being before, the acquiescent oranges and violet hues dancing across my field of vision, interrupted only by luminescent particles which shine with the same sparkle as the stars in the sky.

Sunflowers my mom had planted the last time she visited me prior to the final stages of the portal experiments still grow in that small patch. The only breed that can grow in End, she had told me, the only breed that could survive the cold of the Void without the sun which had gave it its name.

My old house stands as it always has, a certain surface-of-the-sea like glisten to the smaragdant roof tiles above walls of flavolite, vines from lost time crawling down the corners, tucked kindly away between tree bark. As I turn my head to peer through the lilac stained glass though, the figure inside isn’t me.

The person standing in my house, tinkering with my things isn’t me.

His hair resembles the void as if it were set ablaze, wisps of violet and orange flame flickering off his body with every movement. He’s draped in robes of cerulean, gold and white, engraved with a foreign runic language. The claws on his feet dig deep into the moss on the flooring I never made an attempt to repair. While I cannot see myself, or am sure if I’m even there, I can feel the glass heating up as he approaches the windows.

The closer I get, the less familiar I feel to myself, and I see a face, not my face, appear like a mirage in between gold plated framing.

I don’t remember enough to describe what looked back at me.

What’s more interesting is how the foliage behind me changes as well.

This time, I’m back in the overworld in a flattened limestone cove overlooking the sea on a set of smooth stone stairs. Behind me sits a lighthouse made of copper and maroon wood, at its base sitting a humble stone and spruce home with red windows. A soft sea breeze blows, a subtle clicking awakening the lights throughout the building. Something about this particular structure does not feel inviting. I occasionally can spot a fox and turtle wandering about the red carpet inside, but the doors are never unlocked, despite there being no indication of redstone that would keep it closed.

Most times instead, I am inclined to follow the pathway around the intentionally crafted coastline, adorned with glowing copper ore, which leads me into a winding river laden ravine, cliffsides climbing high into the sky. The farther down this ravine I walk, the more reminiscent of home it starts to feel.

At some point, I reach a house buried deep into the side of the mountain, adorned by peculiar stone walls, and green bamboo tile roofs. It appears desolate, as if no one has lived in it for years. The animal pen to just to the right is inhabited by only two chickens, who for reasons I can’t explain seem spry as ever, as if they were just born.

I have no idea who this home belonged to, but I am always inclined to step inside, only to be met by an open floor, full of dusty chests and half crafted tools, enchantments and redstone scattered about the ground left unfinished- as if their owner had left in a hurry, and without finding a resolution that i think they maybe have had desired. Laments of a time long gone are inscribed into the walls broken by what appears to be unsystematic explosions, creating craters without specific intent.

Within moments of exploring the interiors, dusting off surfaces, the walls of the house seem to close in on me, slowly gaining in rapidity and I am forced to burst through stained and mossy oak doors which had once been rusted copper only moments before.

Stumbling into the woods with empty hands.

I am met by what appears to be overgrown farmland. Unlike the place before, there is not a single animal to be found. What might have been a pool before with a diving board hundreds of meters into the sky is the only thing that looks even remotely normal- the water clear as it can be, a small assortment of tropical fish making its home amongst the rough edged coral and cobblestone at its floor. Above me, runs a network of haphazardly placed dirt and stone bridges connecting three main buildings I think; all together forming the shape of a lightning bolt if someone looked at it from the sky.

The first few times I had this dream, I used to think the thick overgrowth that I find myself sinking into, as if gravity suddenly took a stronger hold of me was comprised of grass, flowers, the kind of thing that grows if you leave your lawn unkempt for long enough.

But it was this past night that I realized it was sunflowers. Stems, leaves, shoots and flowers both fully blossomed and dead petals littering the ground beneath my feet.

Nothing but sunflowers.

It’s then when I look up towards the sky, expecting storm clouds stretching towards the horizon to be the cause of a sudden onset darkness that had blocked the sky, the only light now coming from a lava feature across from the main house, netherrack spilling out of the crackled obsidian portal that sat at its center adorned by just the slightest bit of nether foliage.

Instead I am met by the soft glow of stars, the gentle hum of the void and the enigmatic glow of a forming ender nebula coming over the edge of the world.

The ground beneath me shifts into something like a cerulean ocean set on fire, glowing with abstract patterns of aqua and cyan, my footsteps leaving ripples across it. The water itself is shallow, I don’t sink, I don’t swim, I just simply stand on its surface.

I feel inclined to keep going, as I walk across a barren nothing for what feels like hours. Eventually, a face appears in the sky- A pair of pearlescent eyes, surrounded by a multicolor iridescent nebula, ever shifting. A symbol not unlike to the one on that appeared on the back of my shirt manifests above her head between curls, and one by one purple eyes appear across their cheeks.

Never once has the face spoken to me, but always waits till I get close, offers his hand-

And I wake up again.

- first chapter is the best sentence I’ve ever heard in a fiction book ever!

ALRIGHTY here we are at weeks three and four for the santa clauses series! I did not rewatch a second time because genuinely, these melted my brain. anyway, lets get into it below the cut!

So apparently according to the tsc tag, episode 3 that I missed last week is a sort of filler episode? OH BROTHER REALLY

Normally I would not complain bc I miss old format, 20-23 episode series but because I know this Isn't That? DREAD. how are you going to plot well and good in 7-8eps if some are filler? that is just SO condensed, my guy

Counterpoint to people who were sad about it but: I thought the teen romance was annoying and I'm GLAD they ended it even JUST for a bit (it will come back to haunt again, trust. It’s a disney series ffs.) Whoever is writing this needs to ask a teen about how they talk nowadays. This is not it.

I also think we're driving the whole "Buddy is terrible at everything" punchline WAY past its breaking point. Which I would argue was last season entirely, but. At the very latest, last episode with how heavy on cringe it was. Yes, EVEN for kids/teens.

This Carol and La Befana scene was actually very good. LOVE it when they actually just let the characters be HONEST with each other. Women supporting women core. Even if Carol's reason for being mad at her was really shallow and obviously stems form Carol's lack of identity as Mrs. Claus because they just cannot wrap that plot point from last season up.

THE LETTERS DEPARTMENT. It looks dope but HATE the explanation for it. Half assed as hell. WARNING! Rant incoming: like from what I know a LOT of postal services have little lore stories about how they get the letters to Santa. WHY COULDNT WE JUST SAY THERE ARE AGREEMENTS BETWEEN SANTA AND OTHER ADULT PEOPLE WHO KEEP THE SPIRIT ALIVE FOR OTHERS AS WELL? Why is this series so obsessed with making everything only powered by magic and never by others (yes, humans) who want to keep the spirit alive as well? It feels like magic is being used as an "explain it all away" crutch narratively. Even in season 1, the "solution" to mass consumerism wasn't for people to be kind to each other and do little things to keep the magical parts of Christmas alive, it was to show the world that magic was real. Season 2 so far, the answer to everything is also just magic. I'm hoping that maybe the B plot with Kris will touch on this. Because as it stands right now, it feels like the writers are talking out of both sides of their mouth. Commercial Christmas is bad, but Kris is a loser for having a Santa theme park. Like?? Homogenization of Christmas is the Big Bad at large, but also up at the Pole they are trying to find ways to do the same thing to be "current". CHRISTMAS IS MULTIFACTED. It is both secular and religious! That is OKAY, I don't even think "woke" people are arguing about that. Sheesh.

Magnus Antas is kind of popping off, damn. Like I think if the gnomes hadn’t given him MAJOR delusions of grandeur and an ego trip, he could have stayed totally a vibe. But stop giving the Santas snow powers and reconning Jack holy SHIT dude. First Scott now him? HATE IT

Final thoughts: I feel like they're definitely trying to make this season take itself less seriously, but I feel like the trade off is that the writers are taking too many liberties for diversions from source material and are therefore, losing the plot entirely and retconning movie lore at will and convenience. Tl;dr, it's messy. Concepts are fun until things just become so irreverent they fall apart or lean into entirely unfunny territory. Which is just a hallmark of T*m All*n brand humor, tee em, but you know.

It feels like this series is doing everything and nothing. It wants woke points, but immediately doubles back and makes fun of those same things. It wants us to feel empathy for these characters, and immediately makes them insufferable. I am so confused as to what the takeaway is supposed to be. It all feels so poorly executed--the series retcons itself constantly, not to mention the movies. I want it to be fun, and to take it at surface value, but if you know literally anything about the movies, that becomes a challenge to do. I'm just so confused dude.

I will be shocked if this gets a third season. Truly.

Also, I miss Betty too, Noel. Wish this whole season was about HER shenanigans, instead.

Five Nights At Freddy's Movie Spoilers!

Heed the warning

Okay. If we're connecting game lore and movie lore here, I think Mike's memory of Garrett being kidnapped didn't actually happen.

So in the game cutscenes, Mike (assuming they're the same guy) accidentally gets his little brother killed by the animatronics. In the movie, Mike sees his brother Garrett get taken away in a car from a camping trip with their family. He doesn't see who's driving, and he doesn't see Garrett get taken, he just sees him leaving. This could be one of three things:

1: Mike's trauma reconstructed his memory of Garrett's death/disappearance so he wasn't at fault

2: Mike's trauma reconstructed his memory of Garrett's death/disappearance so he didn't remember his dad killed his brother

3: Mike seeing only his brother going away is a metaphor for losing his brother and that's how his mind conveys it, thus that's what his memory of the incident has become.

(please keep in mind, this is all with the assumption that Mike in the movie is Mike in the game, thus being Michael Afton turned Mike Schmidt and also William's son. Ergo, Garrett is the crying child. I understand this may not be true.)

Now, the third is self explanatory. But the others, let me explain.

In the game, Mike and a group of friends carry his brother up to the animatronics to terrorize him. His head gets put in Fredbear's mouth, and he ends up getting bitten by it. That's traumatising crap for a kid who just meant to scare his little brother! So his mind changes the memory to cope, using a memory of a family camping trip as a base. Now, his brother was playing and someone else grabbed him. How he actually disappeared and who took him is a mystery in his mind. All he knows is little Garrett is gone.

On the flip side, say William killed the kid. Maybe on purpose, maybe a robot gone wrong. Point is, Garrett's dead and his father's at fault. Mike wouldn't want to remember that. Again, his mind would recreate the memory. Mike is told to watch his brother, he can't find him, then suddenly he's leaving. Mike says himself in the movie that after the incident his dad kind of lost it. My mother also pointed out that the father doesn't talk in the "perfect ending" dream Mike has, not giving him a role in persuading Mike to give over Abby. If fan lore holds its footing, that says something about the younger brother and mom being dead by the father's hands and wanting as much family as close as possible.

Anyway, these are my thoughts and I had to get them out before I quite literally combust. I'd love to know what anyone else thinks.

Sorry if this not making sense at all, I forgot most Zi-O lore cause I hate it with my every being, just not the main characters but that hypocritical of me cause most of my AUs tend to not make sense. Also, i kinda rewrote the whole Evil Sougo here cause he so lacking in canon that i changed him a bit too cryptic but still a bad guy nonetheless. Also this AU kinda made it in my dream and I just had to continue it cause its ruined my concentration in class lol. Before we start how the AU happened, I need to explain that this AU is kind of different than canon or just the basic HCs of this AU

Basic Hcs: 1. The Main Riders have found a family joke but turn real (Mom and Dad are Emu and Shinnosuke, the kids are Takeru, Sougo, Ikki, and Houtaro, and the uncles and the aunts are the rest of the riders), Sougo is a theater kid beside he can do ballet, Sougo is a history nerd, Sougo in the past being bullied before because he wants to be a king in middle school before high school so he never talks about it openly again. And how do they meet together? Let's say because of the crossover movies, sometimes they meet for a reunion or fight for a world-ending fate again or beat up Tsukasa lol.

The summary of AU: some new villains want Sougo back to being an evil king to destroy other riders, and they do it by changing the past or rather trying to kill the main riders in the past, Sougo knows this by someone trying to warn him and use his time powers despite he trying not to use his time powers other than time-stopping, that someone also said to never said this anyone even Geiz and Tsukuyomi or he get the biggest regret of his life. Sougo has to force himself to use his time powers to the past to stop the villain while making the past riders not know what he is so he makes a somewhat villain persona for it. He also changes his style for this he even changes his hairstyle and clothes so no one knows it's him. Also, that someone is Hiden Atsuya, a future adopted kid of Fuwa x Aruto who secretly helps break Sougo's fate since these villains are from his timeline and other future kids.

This timeline is in 2024, meaning Houtaro is here too and Sougo is 24 years old.

His villain persona: not too talkative unless he wants to talk cause he doesn't want to give hints from the future, very quiet, very stoic, he is a good person but his persona feels like a quiet jerk, this persona is inspired by his mentor and dad figure, Tsukasa Kadoya.

For example :

Past!Shoutaro: Hey, who are you?

A!Sougo: ….

Shoutaro: Answer me!

A! Sougo, quietly said:…Protect your loved ones to your heart, Hidari-san…

His appearance disguised is his hair braided on his left side, has a lot of bandages on his right eye, and sometimes wears a hat sometimes not, his clothes are black/blue pants overall with a double layer of white/grey shirt. Sougo wears a pair of worn-out black combat boots as part of his disguised persona.

Sougo starts this journey is very optimistic but also wary cause he doing this alone this time, after several loops where he fails a lot of times and has to use his time to rewind the past to normal but he has to make the past riders forget his existence in the past and kinda losing it so when in 23rd loop, he tells to Geiz and Tsukuyomi but unfortunately, like the kid tell him.. It did make something bad happen like a world-ending scenario. He hates to see the dead body of his mentor lying on the ground, he hates to see his older brother's dead body near a river, he hates to see his parental figures' bodies lying on the streets, and he blanks out when he sees his lover's dead bodies. After that loop, his eyes start to dull but anyone in the present doesn't notice Sougo's weirdness until the 50th loop.

Sougo routine most of the time now is present timeline-past-go back to the present timeline so everyone becomes suspicious that Sougo suddenly disappeared most of the day (surprisingly they noticed after the 49th loop cause Sougo can act very well) to encounter this, Sougo made to redo the first day when he starts to go to past to prevent the villains and that day be his ‘checkpoint’ so anyone not sus about it.

The villains are psychopaths, they claim that they are very loyal to Oma Zi-O than to Time Jackers. They tried to do the same thing to Sougo’s daughter but she was very stubborn and the villains came in a bad timing like literally the baddest timing ever when her dads, her mom, her Nana Emu, Grandpa Shinnosuke, and other granduncles riders out there. So they had to resort to another plan, which made Sougo's life miserable to make him guilty of the villains so he forced himself to give in to the fate he had to face years ago.

1-22nd loop!Sougo: still optimistic but after some loops, he is kinda tired about it. This whole shit made him eat less but not too less, he was just not very in the mood to eat.

23rd-80th loop!Sougo: His eyes became dull, lost his sense of taste, got tortured by the same villain via the electric chair, and had to kill the said villain, always on the run then going home, sometimes getting a mental breakdown of what he did, he feels guilty to have erased his senpai and kouhai memories too much also kill someone. In mid of the 60th loop, he has hallucinations and nightmares of his senpai.

81-99th loop! Sougo: Lost his mind but his sanity is still intact, he somewhat embraces fate but at the same time does not, he reaches out to his bad future self, Oma Zi-O to give him the true potential of his powers despite his chances of being an evil king will greatly increase and his future self surprisingly give him. He plans for his own king's ‘execution’ after this whole thing is done. Also the villains found out to break the time loops mind erasing shit at 85th loop and the Riders demand answers from Sougo sometimes leading to fighting, Sougo had to force himself wrapped by his villain persona and get up but at one time he break his persona once. He mutters that he rather save them than not do anything about it so he calls himself a sinner or a liar once he defeats Geiz and Tsukuyomi.

I don't know what to explain anymore so i write the all WIPs of minific or/and songfics that I thought of, and not in chronological order sorry and sorry i totally take some HoT convo from chapter 17, sorry for the ooc and not making sense in this goddamn AU also sorry of my bad writing:

“I think this is the first time you have reached out to me even go to this timeline as well..” Oma Zi-O said, this time, he used a younger body with his left eye bandaged. He looks at Sougo with empty, cold eyes yet his expression doesn't fit him right now

“Are you no longer afraid of these powers?…” He asked him

“I don’t know.. I feel I am not afraid anymore ever since 81st loop” (Sougo)

“If you continue to tread this path, you will find yourself falling deeper into the abyss” warned Oma Zi-O

“……I don’t care, I will take care of it all” Sougo replied

“You will lose everything, your family and friends will no longer trust you” (Oma Zi-O)

“It’s doesn’t matter to me anymore, I always alone..” Sougo replied he embraced the fact he always going to be alone.

“You will leave them forever..”

“…”

"You won't be around them anymore, see their smiles, or hold their hands."

“It’s okay, I already know what I am getting into…”

“There is no turning back once you get into this path, are you sure is this your choice? ”

“It’s doesn’t matter… Senpai will take care of them but this is something I must do.. I already made my choice”

“Then so be it..” Oma Zi-O gives Sougo the true potential of his powers.

Tsukasa looks at Sougo with deep rage. Sougo’s eyes were in horror. Shit, keep calm Sougo.. Keep your goddamn persona in check!

Sougo feels Tsukasa’s weapon at his head. Sougo’s trying not to cry. “Now, Sougo.. Tell me, why are you doing this?..” His voice is empty, cold. Clearly, He doesn’t trust Sougo right now. Sougo’s eyes become dull. Shoutaro noticed this and is now worried for Sougo.

Tsukasa, Shoutaro and Shinnosuke suddenly got summoned to future by Oma Zi-O.

“What do you want..” Shoutaro asked

“…………Make sure to watch my younger self back”

“Eh?” Shinnosuke was shocked.

“What do you mean by this?…” Tsukasa asked

“I'm just curious about his future after all, if it ends up with him being evil king again.. It will be just boring and… Every evil king always gets executed in the end” And at the right moment, a guillotine drops. The three riders jumped a bit and now realized what the evil king meant.

“Sougo planned to end this once and for all, and by that… He plans his execution”

“Huh, I didn't know you could care, why do you ask us this..” (Tsukasa)

4. (More of a summary than a fanfic but yeah) also this like the end of 100th loop

Finally, Sougo did it and defeated the villains on his own at least this time didn’t kill anyone and let the future kids handle them. Now, he is on top of a building, the tallest building in the city. He can finally execute his execution. He can wipe his timeline that made him an evil king but the idea of living scared him like what if this fate gets him again, watch his loved ones suffer from his fate, he just rather disappear and never come back. Sougo takes out his braid and the bandages off then takes the final leap.

The songs that fit Sougos:

He closed his eyes until someone took his hand in that fall, it was Takeru. Sougo in shock and scared, why did Takeru follow him, he didn't want Takeru dying with him, it was supposed to be his ‘execution’ not Takeru too. He realized he made Takeru cry, he felt guilty he was the reason that he crying right now. He doesn't realize that he is being saved by Inves plant and passes out when Takeru and him back to the rooftop.
