Peter is not touch starved on my head, he never had to deprive himself of physical contact, May and Ben were affectionate, even when Ben died May was very present

Tony on the other hand had to follow his father's ideas about "Stark's are made of iron" he took it a little too literally, he's been deprived of touch for so long that any slightest touch leaves him with a weird feeling of pain, not the "don't touch me, it hurts" kind of thing, more like "if you touch me again I'll fall apart because that's what I've been silently begging for for the last 30 years" so when Peter often started touching him because simply, that's normal for him, pats on the shoulder, quick hugs, nose-snatching games, it's normal, but for Tony this is just a reminder of how vulnerable he was when it came to physical contact

One day Peter hugs him after a particularly stressful day, it was all he needed at the moment, comfort, affection, genuine concern, he broke down, hugged Peter back feeling tears wanting to escape his eyes, Peter could probably hear his heart beating fast, He knows he shouldn't get so attached, he'll scare the boy, damn he could lose the boy for a show of weakness like that...

Peter just stands there, paralyzed, and when Tony releases him 1 minute later with his red face covered by his sunglasses but obvious tear marks, he is so confused, Tony just runs away from there, shouting in a shaky voice that "LAB IS CANCELED FOR THIS WEEK"

The following week Peter acts as if nothing had happened, Tony can't, he tries to start a conversation to explain himself but Peter hugs him and he can't say anything anymore, fearing that his voice would fail and he would collapse again, Peter just says "if you wanna cry, you can cry you know?..."

Tony breaks down, for the first time in his life feeling comfortable enough to cry in someone's arms, vulnerable enough to break down without feeling judged

Pepper found the scene of Peter carrying Tony to the room on his shoulder, then the two stayed in the living room talking about Tony until 1 hour later when Tony woke up and saw Peter at the kitchen counter drinking a carton of grape juice talking to Pepper with a glass of wine on the couch about how Tony is needy for physical touch

Tony has never been so embarrassed, at least now Pepper and Peter are helping him ease his need for physical touch

Talk about it. Jean makes an uncomfortable face as he lets a quiet sound out of his throat, flipping the pack closed before he stands upright and brushes off his hands. But he lifts his head to the touch at his shoulder. Compelled, whether he's willing or not, to meet her eye when she speaks, urging him to get it all off his chest. They need his head clear.

"I know," he insists again, even if there's no real fight in his tone. That reassuring grip could make it easy to forget he's talking not just to a fellow comrade or a friend, but his Commander as well. Even if the military they've always known has been broken down and she says she's no longer their superior officer. Jean knows he has responsibilities, expectations she'd long ago entrusted into him because she believed he was capable of thinking with that clear head, even when he has been put under pressure. He doesn't think he'd feel better for talking about it.

"If I'd 've kept it bottled up, Reiner would'a still only been about halfway through his little pity party by now..." Yet he still talks, because Hanji will talk to him. Has. Had even gone so far as to admit to him and Mikasa that she'd thought about it too, just running away from it all, plugging her ears and continuing on with her own cozy life. He looks past her own shoulder, at Onyankopon where he's helping Armin pack away their things.

"... I'd 've been puttin' a bullet in an innocent man's head and thinkin' about what kinda house I could'a got for my trouble."

Hanji crossed her arms, leaning against the tree with an unreadable expression. "I'm not worried about you throwing punches, Jean," she said, her tone softer than anyone would have expected. Hanji had been a soldier long enough to know that fights happened between comrades, especially under the immense pressure they were all facing. Given the circumstances, she couldn't blame Jean for lashing out, not after hearing what had happened to his friend.

"I want you to talk about it. Truly talk," she spoke, walking closer and placing a hand on his shoulder as she stood beside him. "You can't keep it bottled up. We need your head clear." Hanji looked at him, her remaining eye practically looking into his soul. She was tired; that much was evident. Her grip on his shoulder firm yet comforting. "You can't carry your burdens alone. None of us can."

i generally like barnacles’ korean voice :D but whenever my mom and i watch the show together she always points out how his grunts are more exaggerated in the dub XDD i feel like his emotions are like?? slightly more expressive but im not sure :,3 sorry

More of the Tiamat Au? More of the Tiamat Au! 

Sharing a body was strange. Ten limbs split between the nine of them- thirteen if one counted the tails and seventeen if one counted the fact that their cloak… skirt… whatever could mimic the wings of their other form. 

One which they would change back to after a few moments- there was much less stumbling when it was all fours. Not to mention that if not for the tails they’d have easily toppled over with how many arms they had making them slightly top heavy. Okay more than slightly, it was taking a bit to adjust. 

Honestly the fields of wheat and other crops did nothing to hide them with how tall even this body was, but it was still better than nothing, and they were using the fact it was the middle of nowhere to their shared advantage. 

At least the humanoid- not human, even now their shared power thrummed through the air, leaking from them- form was smaller than their true draconic one. Well, perhaps they shouldn’t call it their true form, when they were once all human, halfa and liminal alike, but they’d long since stopped being such. So perhaps it was in fact true to call the form they had become as their normal state now. 

Actually, could they even separate now? Or had their power melded together so much that it was impossible now, and an attempt would end them? It would at the very least crack their core- 

“What the fuck.” 

Their head lurched, a little too far if the jolt of pain was anything before it melted away. They were all too used to moving their own necks separately. But all of them agreed that discovery could not happen-

It was a child. A preteen with red-orange hair, blue-green eyes, expensive clothing, and most damming of all, large swaths of bruising across his arms. Bruising that did not come from usual play, and looked far too much like hand prints for any of their comfort. 

Someone had very much not been taking care of this child. And that really made them quite angry.

Hi sorry to bother you again but I was wondering how you think these situations would go?

I mean I know there’s probably 1000 fics about this already but what if Doof created a “HUMAN-INATOR” or something like that and accidentally turned Perry into a human?

Also unrelated thing and I think I may have asked you this before about Doofs arms, but since they’re both titanium do you think his family knows? Or do you think at a family’s reunion he just pops one off and everyone freaks out.

So, years ago I had a vision for a fic that I never ended up writing because I couldn’t figure out what direction to take it. It would be very long, kinda angsty, etc. I love the premise still, and tbh if someone else wants to write it, feel free. I don’t think I ever will.

So, Doofenshmirtz is annoyed that the specific screw he wants to buy isn’t available, his only option is this alternative screw that has something else attached to it, and he doesn’t want that other bit. “I just want my 2.3 Inch ecto-titanium screw, Perry the platypus! It makes me so mad, just like those lunch deals where you have to buy a piece of fruit. I don’t want a banana! Don’t make me buy a banana! Anyway,” He sighed wearily, and for once Perry found that he sort of agreed. “So I made THIS! The base component-inator! Everything I shoot with this with be divided up into the things it makes up.” And then to prove it he shoots a packet of pre-marinated sausages and he gets a loose sausage and a packet of sauce.

So they fight, right? And Doof throws his platypus nemesis straight into the beam and BWAM! Big explosion, smoke everywhere etc.

When the smoke clears, Heinz is shocked to find a (dead?) brown platypus on the floor. And although he knows he is bad at recognizing Perry, he is sure that’s not Perry. And then he hears something else, and there is also a very confused, very beautiful, naked man on his floor., who doesn’t know anything for sure anymore. But he knows that he is Perry.

The rest of the fic would be about Perry and Heinz working together to figure out what OWCA had done to their agents. Where the human subjects came from. What to do about all the other OWCA agents, etc.

Meanwhile, Phin and Ferb are looking for their pet platypus, and Perry has no clue how to tell them.

I had 2 ideas; one where Perry could have Doof rewind the inator so he could be a platypus whilst he figured it all out.

Or the other where the platypus is straight-up dead, and Perry is stuck in his human body, forced to stay with Heinz.
