hi loves, i don’t even know where to begin, but i feel like i need to get this out. this month of january, hell, this past lifetime, has been heavy. there’s no other way to put it. some of you know bits and pieces of my story, but for those who don’t, let me lay it out a little.

my life in general has always been a rollercoaster of pain, heartbreak, and challenges that felt almost impossible to overcome. i’ve faced emotional and physical abuse, been compared, belittled, and manipulated by the very people who were supposed to uplift me. it’s been a journey of toxic relationships, broken trust, and trying to find my place in a world that feels like it’s constantly trying to push me down.

and yesterday? yesterday broke me in a way i didn’t even think was possible anymore. my dad. well, let’s just say he decided to remind us all of his “power” by throwing me, my mom, and my siblings out of our house. and he kept pushing me, my mom, my two siblings (a ten year old and a four year old) all because my mom refused to do what he told her to do (and why she refused? because apparently he cheated. yes my father cheated on my mom but he expects no consequences of his actions ‘what kills me is that he laughs during their argument’ that shows he has no remorse and infact he has the audacity to give example of other people who did it and their wife didn’t make a scene out of it) so i pushed him back the moment he pushed my mom and i screamed at him “you don’t have any shame for what you did and you don’t care either you just want us to be your servant” and guess what my mom slapped me. she slapped me for not letting that man i unfortunately have to call my father disrespect me or us and yeah he pushed us out. we were vulnerable and scared but something in me kept telling me i’ll rise from this too no matter what that i wont let this be the end of my story but i cried like i have cried a lot of times in january in general but yesterday one was brutal af. it felt like the final straw, like the universe was just testing how much i could take before i shattered completely.

but somehow, the storm passed. he called us back (after like five to ten minutes) and now we’re back at home, pretending things are okay. and maybe they are, for now. (my mom told me that he talked and now everything is fine) but the pain of what happened lingers, the reminder of how fragile things are. i journaled yesterday a lot trying to make myself calm down and i reminded myself that i should not let this moment break me but i should use this incident to motivate myself (use it as a fuel) to achieve the greatest possible success and happiness possible. it was really hard to fall asleep last night (man i can’t wait to take revenge on that man fr) but it’s all over now and i do feel motivated to get my things done and achieve all my goals and dreams.

and yet, in the middle of all this chaos, you were here. i woke up today to so many beautiful messages, people tagging me (especially @n1pp) and liking my posts, and reminding me that there’s still good in this world. that there’s love, support, and connection even in the darkest moments. you all are my little corner of peace in a world that feels so loud and cruel sometimes. you’re my safe space, my reason to keep going, and my proof that the universe can still be kind.

so thank you. for being here. for showing up. for reminding me that even when life feels unbearable, there’s still light. you are that light.

ILL BE REAL I DIDNT PUT MUCH THOUGHT INTO A REASONABLE BACK STORY but bcuz shes a self insert i had to make a mention for my bestie who can EASILY be in the pressure universe fr <3

Pre-lockdown: I think itd be unique that if Sebastian was used to give humans gills then Phanny can be used to find immortality cuz who doesnt love when a corrupt corporate entity tries to find the cure for death, happens all the time lol. I say for the important parts shes fused with an immortal jellyfish, my favorite jelly which im extreme jelly of 😼😼😼😼, and i would say that its possible that she could live forever IN THEORY with the dna of that jelly but that would have to be tested lmaooo.

I believe because shes also able bodied (mostly) she would be given similar jobs as Sebastian so shes not depressed, rotting, or lashing out. Not sure if they'd work together but she's observant and being a psychologist, she def psychoanalyzing the hell outta everybody in the facility out of boredom. She seems happy but ofc its a coping mech to make the best out of the absolute horrors around her, still emotional unstable and freaks tf out frequently. Once Sebastian frees everybody, she's free to roam and sees what Sebastian is doing. She asks to assist him in his goal but she only plays a part once Seb handles BIDNESS on land during lockdown. Post lockdown she scavenges for data and whatever here and there but shes mostly left alone or out of most of his operation, yk,,,working with Mr Lopee and all. She really tries to get close with Sebastian (despite emphasizing hes a married man, YEAH SURE BUDDY YOU'RE LIKE 32, WHATEVER MAKES U FEEL BETTER💀) and being the drama fiend i am, i think having a "moment of weakness" would lead to their complex semi romantic possibly toxic dynamic.

Fight: And as i did my research its highly debatable if Sebastian is telling pAInter the truth about getting them both out. Phanny would believe this without question cuz if he can make a plan and has all these skills and resources, he should be able to take everyone (this also includes other peoples inserts and ocs who are experiments because it makes the setting more lively and interesting). I even thought of a cool ass line my homie thought was cold asf for argument dialogue between Phanny and Seb about taking everyone back up to the surface.

Just to summarize: Phanny mentions how noble Seb is after making progress with his escape plan, assuming that he'll take at least as many people as possible including Phanny. Sebastian at this point is already trying to push her away post weakness moment and he know damn well he's just doing this for himself and never accounted to leave w/ a whole damn facility of sentient experiments. He just wanna see his mom again and hes already working in private with Mr Lopee i mean this is a one man escape plan. This ofc shatters Phanny cuz from what hes saying, nobody and he mean NOBODY is getting out of here with him. Hes not a savior and hes not responsible for people he dont even know or fuck with like tf?? And Phannys like OKAY? Nobody's asking you to be JESUS but can you at least be Moses?? Free us so we can all get justice! Explain why you can't take a handful and come back once u take this damn company down?? What about your promise to pAInter? To ME.

Ofc it ends in a big brawl, think Mark getting his shit rocked by his own dad (Omniman from invincible) and they just have this heartbreaking dialogue and they split ways.

Post fight + breakdown: After this, Phanny is basically losing it. I even have a vision for this if it was actually in game and she was an actual character with weight to the gameplay. Like crying and wailing in the vents and pipes, shit breaking, Phanny not being seen for a majority of the game until shes physically stopping u from going through doors and rushing the player. Not to kill them, she loves the expendables and protects them but if she really has to if it means Sebastian can get out/she gets to see another day then...

Plus i drew what that would look like in my last post where shes just standing in the dark in the corner blocking the door. Even if shes not blocking the door she's obviously going through something and can't be interacted with, she just follows the player with her eyes and breathes heavily. If its not that then shes crying by the the water and interacting with her gets the player a DEVIOUS side eye or no response.

Pre-breakdown + if she were actually in the game: I can't really explain why she would help the expendables WITHOUT knowing removing the crystal will indirectly end their lives, i actually havent evaluated that yet but shes friendly to expendables, takes free trade in exchange for shiny objects, and can be seen hanging out with or talking to Sebastian, or passing by in the water/halls. She's capable of killing the player entirely by accident due to her tentacles hanging from the ceiling which she chills in and dying to her makes her scream or apologize (before Sebastian says something snarky) since shes strictly against killing and never willing.

Announcing ur presence helps her know shes in the way. Typical interactive npc shenanigans. Maybe even saving expendables from certain attacks but these are rare interactions in the game. She's overall friendly and if she were real, she'd prolly be a fandom fave (ofc not on Sebastian's level, LETS BE HUMBLE YALL😭) because shes so polite and her tragedy comes near the end where the player isnt even aware of how she became hostile in just a few hours of the run. Her story would hardly happen in game and itd be one of those things a creator would have to mention outside of their game for fans to know abt yk?

Its typical for creators to just drop the craziest lore ever about a character but they're purposefully vague or literally like oh yeah time constraints so we scrapped it lol.

i've gone over this before, but he's the type of guy who would read dazai, dostoevsky, kafka, etc in a male manipulator kind of way. this type of guy also goes in hand with the type of guy who watches fight club, american psycho, etc with zero self awareness (i'm not much of a film nerd so i can't really speak about his taste in films specifically).

his dad probably had a collection of old films he worked on, and kaiser watched them all on some old cd or cassette player in hopes of finding some with his mom. even though his mom showed up in more dramatic films rather than tougher serious ones, these ones hold a special place in his heart. he's not in denial about this, but he never brings it up to anyone. around the time he was a tween, he snuck into a movie theatre to watch one of his mom's films.

i believe it was mentioned that his parents started off in theater, and once kaiser became rich enough, he took time to see live productions at least once a month. his goal is to catch up on shakespeare since he never got a chance to learn about him at school (i had to check r/askeurope to see if shakespeare is taught there 😭😭).

as much as it's funny to imagine hamilton fan kaiser, i don't think he'd be drawn to musicals that much. he doesn't mind them, but they aren't usually on his radar. he's considered going to the opera though. for the sake of affirming to himself that he's now financially stable.

he canonically reads psychology textbooks, and i think he has read jordan peterson's books. (SCREAMING CRYING THROWING UP BECAUSE I HAVE PROBABLY WALKED ON THE SAME FLOOR AS JORDAN PETERSON ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS GET ME OUT OF HEERREEEEEE) i don't think he'd care or agree with jordan peterson but he definitely has read him, maybe even bought some of his works shudders he also read the dictator's handbook + the art of war and has used this in ways that are disastrous for everyone involved

After a tireless day after the mission in New York, and Mother’s Day mission, the kids all felt exhausted, blaming themselves for things. Every small detail they ran through their minds, Their father’s kidnapping, Monty being put in custody.

Bruh fr tho- like as much as I like imagining that Hikari’s actually secretly bottling things up and gets to process stuff.. ..after the plot (is delusional-)

(Spoiler warning for all of the game, brief mentions of suicide but it’s never discussed in detail)

I agree that it was bad writing- We seriously needed to see Hikari actually react and process everything. But naaahhh instead we got “yeah and then he saved the kingdom and somehow cured the curse that he’s had his entire life with the power of friendship and sheer willpower!”

Like no.. that’s not how it works…

It honestly feels like the writers just- didn’t realize the sheer weight of the things that happen to him in his chapters. Like- he watched his dad die in his arms, he watched another friend die in his arms, watched his whole village burn down, his best friends all betrayed him in some way, his older brother constantly demeans him, his mom died in front of him, just when he thinks the violence ended, turned out one of his best friends was using him the whole time for some end of the world plot, who he had to watch kill himself btw, and he has intrusive thoughts, caused by a curse that threatens to consume him— which he never even got an explanation for until the 5th chapter. Like seriously- this man was living with a voice in his head since his mom’s death and everybody dismissed him when he was like “do you hear the voices too?” LIKE..

Yet all of these are treated as plot points rather than life altering traumatic events :/

Thing is- the writers KNOW how to write trauma. They did it with Throné. Hikari and Throné both have very similar stories- they were both raised in a hostile environment where violence was the norm, they both hate bloodshed, and they both have to cut through people who they considered family to continue their goals. (Throné had to cut through Mother and Father- which- while she didn’t care for mother, Father pretty much raised her… meanwhile Hikari has to fight his brother, and multiple friends.)

Why did Throné get to react? Why did Throné get to fall to her knees in despair over Claude being her bio father? Over having to kill her only father figure- and get multiple banters of party members reassuring her that everything will be okay? Why did they take Throné’s story seriously, while brushing off the things that happened to Hikari? Did they think that since he was supposed to be The Strong Warrior Character™️, he just- couldn’t have emotions???

Akxbwjxxh Hikari’s still my favorite character (it may not seem so bc I literally just tore his story apart um oops-) as it’s fun to project onto him and headcanon that he’s actually deeply affected by the things that happen to him and just bottles everything up :,D

I just wish the writers realized how heavy they made Hikari’s story and treated it that way bc seriously- what the fuck ;-;

Backstory: I literally just grew up in a happy family. Living rich and lavish. My dad is a retired top pro hero and my mom is an underground hero that works for the government. I’ve been friends with Shinso since middle school and I was close with Shotō for like a year in elementary school. We’re literally twins with our heterophobia and dual color hair 👁️👅👁️.

My goal in this reality it literally to be my silliest, most autistic self. Literally me if I never started masking so people wouldn’t call me weird.

Plot (or the lack there of)

The war arc doesn’t happen. I’m not dealing with allat.

Bakugou doesn’t get kidnapped and faces appropriate consequences for his actions and behavior (I’m talking about him being a bully).

The other students quirks are stronger (I hate that Bakugou had it easy. I’m a purebred hater).

Momo was trained and is more skilled at using her quirk (she’s rich why didn’t her parents hire a trainer for her canonically?)

Tenko’s mom leaves with the grandparents and his sister before he loses control. He now attends UA.

OFA is still out there plotting I guess.

Fusions (borrowed idea from priicklleshifts on tiktok).

Overhaul is good and works at UA in support heroes/medical.

Eri is not abused and has a decent relationship with Chisaki even though he is an overworking germaphobe.

Events like the sports festival only starts to happen at the second trimester (bc why tf did it happen on like the 2nd week of school?)

Japan

Due to its high safety and previously low birth rate, Japan now has many immigrants from all over

Super high tech I’m talking holographic screens, robots in the streets, virtual reality, etc

There’s a National and international tournament where schools compete to see who has the best upcoming heroes.

Amenities

Along with what appears in the anime there is:

A spa on campus that is free for hero course students. They offer normal and medical massages, mud baths, meditation, sauna, steam room, lounge, ice fountain, treatment rooms and other beauty and wellness services (yes, I'm going to abuse this).

There is practically an extra little town on the mountain with the school due to all the school amenities and staff.

Massive library with study rooms n stuff.

Lots of school festivals, dances and other events.

Classes

UA Departments: Hero, Support (fashion, tech, etc), Business, Gen Ed.

There’s home room which is where you spend most of your time. We do gen Ed and hero law stuff with our home room.

Students can take any electives ranging from costume design to home ec, Solo training to costume engineering.

Students are encouraged to try out things through electives and clubs.

There are free lifestyle classes on weekends so you can take a quick class on cooking, sewing, gardening, first aid without the commitment or worry of grades.

Everyone gets a free holographic tablet thing for the schedule, note taking and to access the school app thing.

The app lets us access the dorms if we don’t have a physical I’d on us, order at the school restaurants with free delivery from the campus delivery bots. It’s just has a bunch of handy features.

We go on a few international field trips throughout the year.

Instead of one lunchroom there are many dining halls around campus. If you’re a boarding student then food is free.

The restaurants have a certain numbers of items you can pick from to create a reasonable meal. Anything extra you have to pay for.

the earliest chunk of his life is fine—obviously his parents are more than willing to take care of a baby, but the older he gets (and the busier THEY get), hyeon’s pretty much left to his own devices. as a toddler, his parents take turns pushing juice boxes into his hands and making sure he’s occupied by the tv; by the time he’s ~12ish, it’s a “here’s ₩10,000 to get some food after school, we’ll be home late so don’t wait up” type of deal probably 4/5 nights a week.

he doesn’t care, really; or at least he doesn’t feel like he does @ the time. he has some friends that he’s really close to, so he fills up his time with those friends rather than worrying about his parents—until he can’t anymore. by the time he’s turning into an angsty teenager, he thinks a lot about his family situation & how his dad is out there “serving the community” but failing to serve his family and how his mom wouldn’t know his favorite movie if asked, like… these things chip away at a person!!!

it doesn’t help that his parents kind of have a “business” r/s; not really in love like they were once upon a time, just staying together because it’s easy (and it would be shameful for a priest to divorce—plus, in the catholic church, he wouldn’t be allowed to remarry so long as he stayed a priest) but anyways… hyeon didn’t have a good example of filial OR romantic love in his early life, which resulted in him being emotionally unavailable and having zero respect for his parents 🤙 oh yeah!

his life is like this: church services on sunday / pretty much no interaction with his parents any other day of the week unless it’s thru sticky-note messages around the house / go to school half the time, skip the other half / waste time with his four best friends / play league of legends all night / daydream of being a rapper like… obviously a very fulfilling life

anyway i’m really not trying to make y’all learn every minute detail of hyeon’s life story here so i’ll say tl;dr he got really into rap/making beats around 13/14ish, started a yt channel w his friends at 15, had a joke song go viral on yt that same year which kind of made him realize how starved for attention he was/how much he really WANTED to rap??!? / applied and got onto season 3 of high school rapper at 16, placed 3rd, signed with canvas labs the next year and consequently dropped out of high school to focus on music/training and ultimately severed his ties with his parents like… he obviously didn’t have time for church anymore/the desire to go and him turning his back on the catholic church AND dropping out of school??!? spitting on everything his parents stand for fr fr

worked part-time as a mechanic’s assistant while he was training, up until newave started prepping for debut—in this time, he got really into cars, got his driver’s license & then got into racing; super into racing go-karts!!! he still does some side work for his former boss from time to time for pocket cash: uses this money to support his love for designer clothes mostly or buy shit for his own car, which is a 2008 mitsubishi eclipse spyder that his former boss gifted to him (was a piece of shit at the time, required extensive work and is still a pain in the ass unfortunately)

as of march 2024, is a (somewhat) newly debuted idol—does not take it particularly seriously, and it’s not his career end-goal. ultimately he wants to produce a bunch of music for the group (and potentially for other groups), get rich off royalties, drop the group and return to the “real” rap/music scene… u know how it goes… selfish selfish man!

all in all hyeon is literally just some guy with a chip on his shoulder. he views other people as disposable, so he doesn’t care to get particularly close to anyone—but even if he does, he’s a pro when it comes to burning bridges & never looking back. if you have nothing to offer, hyeon has no interest; and if he has no interest, he won’t fake it. a lot of this is just a result of him having to be independent from a young age & (ideally) something he will grow out of in time :~) very hot and cold type of dude: might be nice to you, might not, and it’s always up in the air as to what side of him you’ll get 🤷‍♂️ but even at his nicest, he’s pretty rough around the edges—tough love is his speciality!!! will do anything for a laugh (or just for attention lbr), bitches & complains constantly but will still do what’s asked/expected of him, shows that he cares in quiet ways like carrying your bags/luggage or ordering a large fry for u instead of the regular like… he will not be caught dead doing any sappy/sentimental shit but if you mean anything to him he’ll never forget a thing u say…. he’s a villain fr but maybe he can still be redeemed.

other trivia: was a smoker for about 6 years, recently switched to vaping but is trying to quit completely because It’s Unbecoming Of An Idol (re: management caught him a few too many times) / was active in the underground rap scene for a little bit before he joined canvas labs, was never well-known ‘cause u know… he was like 17… but he went by the name sweendakk and still has a soundcloud profile under that name / as a celebrity, has a very loud, goofy, rambunctious & mischievous persona—all of his shit-talking and impulsivity is sanded down into something endearing (or at least halfway palatable) for the sake of selling an image; kind of whiplash when you meet him irl and he’s really just a jackass / king of pacing. catch him furiously walking back and forth at your local grocery store / used to be really into weight-training, currently is on more of a cardio kick—regardless, he’s a healthy guy & much stronger than he looks / catholic guilt but i’m sure you saw that coming / dishonest, will tell you a blatant lie straight to your face KNOWING that you know it’s not true. a shameless man with not much to lose. aiming to change that. there we go…

plot ideas

head’s up that i love extensive plotting—this is not at all a requirement & i’m also down to just jump into a base idea and see where it goes!!! but!!! if you’re like me and you love to yap about every little detail!!! i will never tell you no!!! anyways…

naturally, one of his close friends from before he was an idol. ideally this would be someone born around '00 to '03 who was generally up to no good as a kid/teenager: hyeon was shit at showing it, but he lovvvveddd this person and still thinks fondly of them despite having cut them (and the rest of the friend group) off when he signed with canvas labs. thinking he might be reaching out to them again soon, so let's hope they haven't changed their number...

that one member of hi-fi he’s trying to rizz up ‘cause no way you’re gonna have hyeon living right beside a girl group and not expect him to cause problems… i’m open to discuss any/all details of their dynamic, but my idea for this is that he’s initially interested in her for very shallow reasons but ultimately she ends up becoming a muse for him (causing him to write songs such as this and this that he shares with her, but doesn’t actually release until much much later in his career when he ought to be leaving her name out of his mouth) and is someone he has every element of a relationship with without actually dating her—but in these early days of newave & hi-fi, there’s still an understanding within the groups that she’s “hyeon’s girl” but it never actually becomes something and in the end she cuts it off ‘cause hyeon can’t/won’t commit to her… wasting this poor girl’s time fr fr... all i'm saying is we're at the perfect time of the year for them to have a summer fling

various meet uglies because hyeon's a menace to society. your muse has the same workout schedule as hyeon & he's sick and tired of them hogging the one (1) working treadmill, your muse is also a celebrity (preferably someone with a higher profile than newave) and hyeon mistakes them for an employee at this appliance store where he was sent to buy a new microwave for the dorm, you bring your car in on the one day a month hyeon happens to be helping out at this mechanic shop and no way you've got an idol telling you your car is a piece of shit (as if you don't know that already) (is this a fever dream?), your muse is buying laxatives or lice shampoo or some other embarrassing item and hyeon's trying to rizz them up when they really just don't want to be noticed at all, alternatively hyeon's trying to rizz your muse up while HE'S buying something embarrassing and they can't take him seriously because of it, etc etc etc... if you have any ridiculous ideas PLEASSSE send them my way! i love these types of things!

Okay okay. More MAJOR TGAA2 / DGS2 case 4 spoilers incoming! Also, random MAJOR Dual Destinies and Rise From the Ashes spoilers as well.

I'm gonna just list some theories I have halfway through case 4 of DGS2 because they have been playing on my mind for a while.

Please don't confirm or deny anything! I'm just putting my thoughts out here :)

Starting to get the feeling that Susato's dad is. Definitely more deeply involved in the professor thing then he is currently thought to be in the case. I mean, of all 3 people studying abroad, Mikotaba is the only one of them who literally IS a professor.

Mikotaba has been subtly orchestrating people's movements throughout the duology, like Ryunosuke going to london, Susato coming back to Japan, and subsequently returning to London. And the most suspicious thing...

Mikotaba directly caused Dr. Wilson's death. He himself said, he was the one to ask Wilson to come to london. He even was in somewhat of an authority position over Jezaille Brett, who then murdered Wilson.

Regardless I think Mikotaba does have somewhat good intentions. Tbh I think whoever the professor is has to either have good intentions, or be evil, but just controlling a bunch of people with good intentions. I don't buy that gregson is actually evil. I think he is probably just trying his best to pursue justice in a corrupt system.

I'm also not buying that Genshin Asogi was the real professor. Based on Kazuma's actions and Van Ziek's accounts of who the guy was, I genuinely believe he must've been framed. Kazuma probably knows this and is trying to uncover the truth behind it which is his whole 'mission' here.

I think whoever the professor is, is also a major player in the reaper stuff. I mean, they have literally the same goal of eliminating all of the corrupt rich / noble people. Also unrelated but Klint is definitely suspicious for this reason. Even his design screams 'secretly evil'. But they might just be wanting me to think that.

The circumstances around Iris's birth are really strange. She must've been born right when the professor shit was going down since she's 10 years old. I'm guessing her mom may have been one of the professor's victims since she's not around and I seem to remember Iris mentioning she was dead??? Not sure though I've been playing this game over the past few months and details are slipping. Maybe both her parents were and thats why Dr. Wilson moved to Japan. But little did he know his friend who he thought had his best interests at heart was setting him up??? Idk.

I think Herlock knows a lot, but perhaps not everything. I truly don't think he is super involved in the plot, but he's maybe been trying to solve it himself? Idk. I just trust him too much. they wouldn't make another really goofy ace attorney detective with the main colour of highly saturated brown evil??? right??? right???

Mael Stronghart is soooo suspicious, but I can't decide on whether thats a red herring or not. He looks A LOT like damon gant, to the point I almost think it's intentional? And I can't decide whether that makes his more or less likely to be a villain.

The characters I genuinely trust are Herlock, Iris, Gina, Susato, Barok Van Zieks, and probably Kazuma (I think the game wants me to be suspicious of him though). Anyone else I think could very easily be in on the plot tbh.

I'm just like Gina fr. Can't trust most of the adults but the kids are chill.

Anyways sorry for my insane ramblings. Can't wait to play 2 more minutes of this case and find out all of these are wrong and the professor is actually time travelling Aristotle Means
