Dream was visiting after dropping off Palette. He was currently in a guest room with Picmlaoho. PJ, upon Palette's return, had seemed to grow upset, even though Palette was their brother.

Ink and Error, however, we're in the living room, with Gradient and the rest of their children, except for Stain, who was upstairs sick.

As Ink and Error were discussing Dream's stay, PJ came up to them.

"Hey, dad, can I go hang out with Omni?" They had to calm down, and Omni always helped them feel better regardless.

Ink nodded a bit, "Of course you can. Just be safe, ok?"

Moku, one of the kids, let out an upset noise before almost yelling, "I wanna go too!"

Error sighed softly, speaking as Ink moved to pick up Moku, "If you go, you'll run."

Ink rubbed Moku's back, "I know you want to, baby, and maybe soon, but not right now. We don't want you to get hurt, you know? You could fall and scrape your knee, and we wouldn't be there to kiss it better."

Moku sighed a bit and nodded before Ink set him down. PJ nodded as they moved to leave.

"I'll be back. Thanks, Dad," They didn't mean to be so upset, but they just needed a moment to calm down.

"I miss him," Moku definitely sounded upset and Ink moved to nudge him to go back to playing with his siblings.

"I know, and I'm sure you'll get to see him soon, but not now."

Gradient mumbled a bit from where he was by Ink, "Why can't the council just catch you-know-who already."

Ink turned to look back at Gradient, "You know that's a touchy subject-"

"But Dad-"

"-And we've already discussed it. They're just too scared to do anything themselves, and they know I'd be too afraid to face him."

"All he's done still isn't enough?"

Error moved to put a hand on Gradient's shoulder, "You shouldn't even know about these things. Have you and Stain been listening to the meetings again?"

The answer was yes, based on how Gradient looked down, and Ink sighed a bit, "Look, Gradient, they haven't done anything because they're a bunch of cowards. If they could, they'd leave it to me and Dream, but they know I'd probably get killed if they did."

"They're right on that, but they're also idiots," Error hummed a bit, pulling his hand away. "But that doesn't mean you should be listening in on our meetings."

Gradient just nodded slightly as Ink spoke, "I know you and Stain really want to help, but you're both only 15, you shouldn't be focusing on us. You should be focusing on school and friends."

"What friends?" Gradient grumbled a bit.

"You don't have any friends? Even with all of our travels?" Ink was genuinely concerned, believing there was no way he didn't.

"You remember who our parents are, right?" Gradient crossed his arms. "The kids at school either idolize Stain and I, or they hate us. Sure, we made a few friends in AUs, but none actually stayed in contact."

"What about that one you're always calling-" Blueprint chimed in, only for Gradient to cover his mouth.

"No-"

Ink and Error were both concerned and confused, but Ink spoke after a moment, "All I'm saying is you're still young. You should be... enjoying yourselves, not worrying about whatever the hell bullshit the council is doing."

Ink had a tendency not to realize what language he was using, especially when it came to topics like the council or this 'you-know-who'.

Gradient smirked a bit at that, just as a yelled "Bullshit!" would've been heard from Moku, who just wanted to find ways to annoy Error.

"I know, Dad... but the council should be finished with all of this already, they have a line up of other things they need to take off, yet they're stuck on this?" Gradient sighed a bit, while Error just ignored Moku.

"I know, and it would've been solved sooner if they didn't depend on me-" Ink suddenly paused for a moment before heading upstairs, calling out for Dream.

Dream would've quickly responded, already heading downstairs to give Picmlaoho to Error, "I know, Ink, grab your brush and I'll go get Blue."

Bluescreen popped out from behind the couch, obviously confused, "What's going on?"

Gradient sighed softly, pulling his hand away from Blueprint, "You don't have to go... do you?"

Once his mouth was uncovered, Blueprint called out to Ink, "Tell pops to visit if you can!"

Blue usually visited after missions, or tried to at least. His brother wasn't the most fond of him hanging out too late, or having children, even if they spontaneously appeared.

"I will, Print, don't worry," Ink called back from upstairs, grabbing his brush from his closet.

Dream finally got all the way downstairs and moved to hand Picmlaoho to Error, "Sorry, kiddos, but we gotta go. Horror and Dust are being mean again and we gotta to stop them."

"If you see Pops, tell him hi!" Moku called to dream as Error took Picmlaoho.

Gradient nodded a bit at Dream with a grin, "We undertand... give 'em hell."

Error gave Dream a knowing look, a look that said they had know idea who was doing what by force, that they had to be careful, because they were either doing it out of joy or orders.

Dream summoned his staff with a slight nod, "Ink will be back after. We'll be safe."

Error nodded a bit, "You be safe too, ok?"

He really wanted to fight with them, knew Stain could handle the kids, but as he fidgeted with his hands, he knew he couldn't. He knew their house was secret, along with the fact he was living in it, and him being seen could risk everything. In fact, if anything, most probably thought he and Gradient were, unfortunately, both dead.

"I'll be fine. Just focus on you and you're family," Dream nodded to Error before teleporting away.

Error nodded, turning to the kids, "Who wants a movie night? I can go make pizza and you guys can get it set up."

Bluescreen nodded happily, "Can we stay up until they get back? Daddy is gonna bring Pops!"

"It depends, Screen. After a certain point, you'll have to go to bed, but your pops can come in to say goodnight," Error hummed a bit.

Palette cheered "movie night" very happily, and others soon followed, as Palette went to go get a bunch of blankets for them.

Error smiled a bit, nodding toward Gradient to start the movie while he went to the kitchen to make the pizza.

Hours later, however, Error was carrying Moku upstairs when he heard a knock at the door. He quickly went to answer it, setting Moku back on the couch, and when he opened it, there was Dream and Blue, but there was no Ink. Worry immediately struck through him.

Blue went to go say hi to Bluescreen and Blueprint while Dream lowered his voice, just for Error to hear.

"I need to talk to you."

Error nodded a bit, obviously worried, but led him a bit away, where they could talk safely.

"I feel terrible, Error..."

"What happened, Dream? Where's Ink?"

"I have no idea. Blue and I got to the spot, and he was just gone. We don't know where he went. Though it might've been a good thing for the battle, because he showed up... but he hasn't reappeared, and it's so worrying."

"No! No, no, he has to be back by now," half of Error thought it was good, knew it was good, that Ink didn't have to encounter him, but the other half was worried, unknowing of what danger Ink could be in.

"I need to find him!" He was started to glitch now, and Dream took a breath.

"Error, he could be anywhere, you wouldn't be able to get into the doodlesphere if he was there. I'll look everywhere, but I think our best bet will be to wait until he reappears."

"I can't lose him! I can't lose anyone else, I've gotta find him!" He didn't move, though, knowing he might put the house and kids in danger if he went looking for Ink.

"I'll keep looking and I'll bring him back if I find him, ok? Just... focus on your family, especially since Gradient might try to go looking. Or Stain, when he feels better."

Error nodded a bit, "I- O-Ok..."

"I'll bring him back as soon as I find him."

"Please... and keep yourself safe too..."

Dream nodded, "I will."

Error nodded, moving to sit with his head in his hands and let out a sigh.

Noise Cancellation

One night I was absolutely wired on a can of Emerge (a strong energy drink) and this was the result. I have no idea how my brain does this - all I know was I could not sleep, no matter how I tried, so I started sketching, and I decided to trust the process.

I called it noise cancellation because it reminded me of how it felt when I listened to my favourite music through noise-cancelling headphones.

Not necessarily about the kids, but how do the parents balance out all their families? We have Errink and Drink for example, how does Ink manage them?

Each character has their own way of raising and "raising" their children.

In summary. They manage to take care of them without much complication, others help each other, and others prefer to evade responsibility and leave them forgotten.

Ink takes care of Paper Jam, Gradient, Spilled and Ekon. He also often visits Palette, Blueprint, and Bluescreen.

Dream takes care of Palette, Shine and Shade. Along with Cross takes care of Lux, Starcross and Hope.

Cross usually takes care of the three of them, but apart from that, he can pay the attention that Ink doesn't give to Moku. Together with Epic takes care of Starke.

Swap will take care of Blueprint, Splatter, and Sprinkle alongside Papyrus and Asgore. He will occasionally go to Outertale to say hello to Starway.

Outer takes care of Starway most of the time. And he takes care of Deneb together with Science Sans.

Reaper and Geno take care of Goth, Raven, Sorell, Silver, and Shino without a problem. Cassis often spends time with the five of them as well.

Fell and Classic Sans take turns taking care of Plum and Dedge, despite the latter being Dust's son.

Dust takes care of Kenza. From time to time he takes turns with Swap to take care of Sprinkle. And Horror helps him with Okse and Glasses.

Finally, Killer is in charge of raising Crescent, Angst and Merciless. Nightmare only trains them to serve as his weapons. Horror and Dust are their "uncles" and are also in charge of them when the other two are not around.

Nightmare, Error and Fresh don't care about children. Nightmare just takes advantage of them. Error tolerates them, but he would rather destroy them than take care of them. Fresh is a liar parasite.

As for Lust... We are not talking about Lust. Please keep the children away from him, as far away as possible...

Radier, Tenpatch raised themselves alones. They spent their childhood together with Nightmare until they were old enough to take care of themselves. They sometimes visit Error.

Those are the entire list for now. It is probable that in the future I will make comics about the childhood of each child, for now there are advances on my AO3 account. I'm still thinking about adding Rurik, but I don't have enough information about him. Only he was raised in Underfell by Fell Ink.

None of the children and parents belong to me, they all belong to their respective authors.

These are all my own headcanon trying to assimilate to the real canon. If there is something wrong or that any author would like to mention, feel free to correct.

Punznap ex boyfriends au?

Yes! :D it's an au I came up with in Moku's inbox one night and I've now started to accidentally brainrot it XD

Basically:

Punz breaks up with Cat.e, moves in with the dteam, he and Sapnap get together (either bc Punz rebounds quick or bc there was previous infidelity)

Sapnap's birthday, the gituation happens and Punz breaks up with Sapnap via text while he's on the other side of the country. Sapnap is heartbroken.

Sapnap eventually heals and moves past the breakup but Punz is entirely unable to and it turns into him constantly trying to get Sapnap's attention by being in his chat or talking about him on twitch but Sapnap's just completely disinterested in his former boyfriend.

That's where we're at now! We have to wait and see how the story will progress - will Punz ever get over his relationship with Sapnap? Will Sapnap finally block him and be done with it?

Does Sapnap also still long for Punz somewhat, even though he'd much rather have Dream and George?

Who can say! Time will tell!

Dream sighed softly, "Do you guys need any help around the house...?"

“Might need a bit… Stain probably won’t leave the room, don’t blame him, and I’ve been struggling to keep up with all the kids as it is… I’m not Ink, I don’t have the patience and time he has with the kids before I glitch or my haphephobia acts up too much.”

"Just tell me what to do..."

“Can you just… I don’t know… keep them occupied? Moku, the Blue’s, Pic, and Pal have all no clue what’s happening exactly… if they come in and see Ink like this… it’ll hurt them really bad and I don’t want that.”

"Of course I can..."

Error nodded softly.

“Thank you… I was working on some food when this happened, there wasn’t anything on the heat so it should be okay and-“ as Error talked, Stain had started to cry again and Errors eyes widened.

“Oh Stain sweetheart.”

Dream nodded, going to go take care of the kids and leave Error to comfort Stain.

“Uncle dream? How’s dad?” Gradient asked, his phone in his hand, but his hands were shaking.

"He'll be ok... no need to worry..."

“I’m just… if dad is hurt then papa and Stain hurt too and… PJ is driving me mad and I just want to call him but I can’t,” he didn’t say who he wanted to call but it was obvious that this person was a comfort to him.

"What makes you think you can't...? I'm here to help you guys, make sure everything stays in order..."

“Because my phone isn’t track proof and I’ve already been seen by one of his lackeys, entering outertale,” he frowned, “I’ve been texting him since Stain isn’t here to help me and I just… it’s getting late and Stain will probably stay with dad and…”

He was rambling, panicking, but it was common knowledge that he was nearly codependent on his brother.

He sighed softly before moving to take gently Gradient's face in his hands, "Hey, hey... it's ok... do you want to go up and see Ink and Stain...? Leave me to take care of everyone...?"

“But I’m supposed to take care of them too… I’m the only one PJ listens to when they’re being mean… I…” he’d always been like this, trying to be the caretaker, and with growing suspicion of memories it would at least help it make more sense as neither parents ever put that weight on him.

“I can’t take a break! I thought I could and then dad got hurt! I need to protect my family, I can’t loose anyone else,” That confirmed it, that he remembered them, because he hadn’t lost anyone else.

“I can’t fail again,” May it be mentioned he was literally a baby then.
