The new merch line is cute, can’t deny it but is it just me who thinks only Ayato and Kou actually do look like children? I mean, I know they’re all supposed to reflect their childhood selves but it seems like the others are just their adult versions drawn with a smaller face to make them look younger instead of looking like they were indeed from different stages of life?

I guess what may be confusing is that almost all Diakids have already been drawn with their mature features. Basically, they look like they didn’t grow into them but rather were born like that, which is kinda weird. However, it is not uncommon for certain children to appear older than others, as this is purely about genetics. I also doubt Rejet cares much about such details. At the very least, they managed to make everyone look MOE.

Regarding baby Ayato and baby Kou, after reviewing the new art again, I realized that Ayato is really drawn slimmer and more youthful than his brothers, and the same could be said about Kou, who looks even younger than Azusa. Therefore, the reason why they appear to have aged the most accurately is because they are depicted as the ‘default’ image of a child. Roundish face, big round eyes, small, very thin and frail body, are characteristics that people automatically think of when they hear the word “child”.

have you ever thought about yandere geto more specifically yandere CULT geto. cus i do. quite often.

HI ANON hmmm hm hm………… okay so honestly. i’m not super into yanderes at all so i don’t know if i’ll have much to contribute with when it comes to this kinda thing :’3 bUT i do love cult leader!geto to the moon and back + i’ve been thinking of him incessantly lately + i think he’s only a couple steps away from being a yan lol.

geto’s whole Thing is his contrast; he can kill a man swiftly, cruelly, only to go meet his beloved family right after with a genuine smile on his face. (we see that almost instantly in jjk 0!!) he really does have that cruel / soft contrast that i assume a bunch of yan content is built on…. he would treasure his beloved soooo dearly and i absolutely don’t think he’d shy away from killing any non-sorcerers that were giving them trouble… but again!! this isn’t even yan!geto, this is literally just Geto. that’s just how he is in canon 😭😭 he’s willing to go to any lenghts to protect his loved ones, and his own morals are aligned towards his view of non-sorcerers as non-human. he doesn’t see them as human, so why would he feel guilty for killing them?

but ok so to kinda go back to the idea of yan!geto… i think the biggest difference between him and yan!gojo (imo!!) is that gojo is willing to look past his morals to keep you safe, knowing that it’s Wrong but choosing not to care, while geto doesn’t let go of his morals — instead, he twists them until they align with what he’s doing. if that makes sense. to him, doing what he does for you is morally just. so he doesn’t feel shame or guilt for it.

aaaaand this is also why i don’t really feel Equipped to talk abt him….. because yan!geto would probably be a lot Worse than yan!gojo …….. and i’m embarrassingly sensitive to dark content :’3 i can see the appeal and the yan undertones are absolutely There but i think i see cult leader!geto in a very moe light PHJEHSJD he’s… my meowmeow. he can do no wrong. he hasn’t had a single evil thought in his Life <33

overall i see cult leader!geto as someone who hides his inherent softness behind a dark exterior, and while he’s far more willing to be cruel than hs suguru was, he never really changed at his core!! he’s just overflowing with softness and care. we see this so clearly in the scene where he’s alone with nanamimi, his girls, and everything is soft and quiet and geto is completely unguarded. and he’s so, so soft. his softness doesn’t even have a twisted hint to it, he just loves you. and he wants the best for you. i think the horror would only come from seeing how quickly he goes from cooing into your ear to disposing of a non-sorcerer with a freezing look in his eyes; the whiplash is scary. but if it scared his s/o i think he’d be hell-bent on not letting you see him like that unless absolutely necessary.

it’s difficult because so much of his character in this stage of his life has to do with cruelty, but all he truly wants at his core is to create a world where his loved ones will be happy :(( where he can protect them properly. idk i just can’t really see cult leader!geto as toxic at the end of the day….. he’s a puppydog to me. a foxcoded, silly little guy. despite his cult leader / genocide loving tendencies i think he would be a very soft, selfless lover <333 overwhelmingly devoted. the weight of his devotion could honestly be frightening and i feel like he could be sweet in a kind of twisted way (something like this) but at the end of the day he’s very particular about only showing you his soft side.

Once we made it back to the school Hope was on a mission to rescue her boyfriend Landon. Raf, Kaleb, Josie and Lizzie met up with her. Henrik wasn't allowed to come since it was safer if he was there to watch Rapunzel and Charming. Hayley, Jacob and Andrea were remaining behind too. Leaving me, Klaus, Alina, Missy to follow them. Our group walked out the door where I halted in my tracks seeing people with weapons pointed at us. One in particular caught my attention where I growled through my teeth. "Burr, what the hell are you doing here!"

"Sorry we were about to knock." He responded simply.

Lizzie scoffed in question. "Who the hell are you?"

"Names Burr. Triad Industries." He said back to the blonde siphon witch.

Hope didn’t waste a moment attempting to do a spell that would launch them into the air. "Propellere." But nothing happened.

Kaleb started vamping forms until his daylight ring didn't work and his skin burned until he got back in the shade. "I got this…ah what."

"What you don't got is magic. Which is why your daylight won't work. And what we have are stakes, wolfsbane..and other things. So I think you should invite us inside.” Burr explained before we were all tasked with finding something that Triaid needed and we didn’t have our supernatural abilities for the time being.

Klaus and I put our younger kids up in their rooms, while we met the triplets and the Saltzman twins inside the office looking for the phone. Hope hung up the second we got there with Lizzie asking. “So, what do we do now?”

Hope replied. “Now... we figure out a way to get our powers back, and we kick some paramilitary ass.”

Josie warned. “Wait, Dad said not to do anything crazy.”

She snapped back before the door opened and Burr walked inside. “Me defying your dad isn't crazy. It's consistent.”

“Well, at least we know where you stand.” He drew out a silver gun.

She snapped standing in front of Alina and Missy. “You're damn right we do.”

He asked the group looking at me. “Your mother has already seen what I will do to any supernatural creature. And yet You're not very scared of me, are you? How about now?”

Hope chuckles. “That's your plan? You're gonna shoot a kid?”

Burr held up one of the bullets where I could see it was a wooden one that looked as black as mud. “This gun would never harm a human child. You three, however...These bullets were formed from the mud of the Malivoire pit and weapon by Triad scientists. They can break the skin of any supernatural like a hot Knife through butter. Fester. Infect them. Disintegrate them from the inside out.”

Josie said to him. “We don't know where the chalice is.”

Burr responded by putting the bullet back inside the weapon. “I believe you. This is just for fun, really.”

“You really are just being an asshole!” Alina cursed towards him.

Burr slowly moved his gun over each of the five girls. Until he stopped on Alina who was standing beside Lizzie who finishes his sentence about to jump in front of the werewitch to take the bullet. “Eeny......meeny......miney…”

Lizzie declared but Josie suddenly jumped in front of her sister taking the bullet for both of them. “Moe.”

Missy cried out when Hope caught Josie’s body lowering her to the ground. “Josie!”

Klaus turned his hands into fists wanting to rip him apart for what he just did. I wanted the same thing but I sent him a look of angry sympathy knowing until we got our powers back we couldn’t do anything. Two triadid guards came in moving us into the cells down in the basement. “What the hell is wrong with you?” Lizzie snapped at her sister who was gasping for breath.

She said back. “With me? You practically begged him to shoot you.”

Lizzie explained. “Because, if I'm destined to die in my prime, it may as well be in a blaze of hero glory.”

Josie rolled her eyes. “You are unbelievably selfish.”

The blonde siphon looked over at Alina. “Who took it upon herself to dive in front of my bullet? I thought that your codependent days were over….besides I wasn’t going to let someone shoot Lina when I could die a hero.”

Josie grumbled. “A regrettable relapse. Ow!”

A soldier guarding us hit the cell wall. “Hey! Keep it quiet in there.”

“We're not in the prison yard, asshat.” Lizzie growls back at the guard when he walks away.

Running my hands through my hair Klaus was leaning against the wall. Missy leaned against the metal bars eyeing the guard. Leaving me and Alina to just stand beside the twins until Hope bent down on her knees. “You guys, I'm so sorry. I mean, I dragged you both into this, and I have absolutely no idea how to get us out of it.”

“Well, that is just not good enough, Hope.” Lizzie glanced between her sister and her oldest cousin. “My sister is clearly dying, and we did not wait ten years to become friends with you for you to not come through with your annoyingly perfect Hope Mikaelson heroics when we need you the most.”

Josie offered her hand to both of them. “She's right, for a change. It's hero time, Hope.” Whipping my head around the guard came back but he collapsed to the floor where we saw MG standing there holding a gun.

Slumping my shoulders in relief Klaus sent him a proud smile. “You are now my favorite mate, Milton.”

He told us that his mother showed him how they were blocking our magic. Apparently it was something that the people who created the anti magic barrier years ago also created this problem too. Hope was charged with rescuing Landon leaving the rest of us to come up with a plan to fix this. Jackson came down one of the hallways. “Henrik is with Rapunzel and Charming. Safe and sound so I came to help you fight.”

“Looks like we’re ready.” Alina lifted her head seeing MG standing with Raf.

The young vampire gave the signal before I gasped feeling my magic running through my veins again. “Salvatore Stallions! Let's ride!”

Kaleb called to Pedro who gave him a golden metal plate. “Pedro, now.” He knocked out some of the guys.

Jed the werewolf caught the weapon when he threw it and tripped some of the others. Klaus shook his head, sending me a look making me smirk when I saw his werewolf eyes beside Jackson and Alina. “This is going to be fun.”

Vamping down to the floor Missy was at my side watching one of the witches do a stink spell on Burr. She vamped forward tripping some of the guards while I raised my hands launching them up into the air and harshly back on the ground. “Propellere.”

Klaus slammed most of his guys around with his strength. Jackson and Alina linked hands before they both transformed into wolves tackling the Triad men and clawing at them. All the other kids we’re fighting around the room now have the advantage. Klaus and I somehow stood back to back where he snapped one of the guys' necks looking back at me. “I must say I have missed a good fight with you now and then.”

“Motus…I must say I agree with you.” Grunting I eyed some men by Burr thinking of an idea. “I’m going to need your help for an old goody.”

He nodded in agreement lowering himself on a knee beside me intertwining our hands together. “I’m glad to be on the other side of this one, little heretic.” Placing my freehand on the wooden floor it turned red before all the triaid men got thrown down to the floor holding their heads like the Mikaelson’s had.

MG vamped beside Missy who was close to Burr. “Kaleb, get the kids to the bus. Witches......make it rain.” Kaleb went off where the other witches raised their hands chanting.

“Their magic's back. Somebody get to the tunnels and fix this!” Burr gasped when the remaining members with weapons lost them in the air and they turned into flowers dropping down on them.

Missy called MG’s name when he wasn’t looking, seeing Burr coming towards them. “MG, watch out!”

“So you think you're a superhero or something?” He walked up the stairs.

MG shrugs his shoulders. “Honestly? Kind of.”

Burr was close to shooting him until he started puking up goo. “Too bad I got Kryptonite.”

MG smiled seeing Josie and Lizzie siphoning off one another proudly. “Too bad I got Super Friends.”

Lizzie took her sister upstairs since she wasn’t feeling any better. Rushing back to our bedroom I quickly opened the door where Henrik tackled me in a hug. He wrapped his arms around me crying happily. “Sssh baby. Everyone is okay. Let’s go watch Alaric’s speech.” Klaus and I stood off to the side while our kids except for Hope watched their headmaster.

“I failed you. You see, my purpose in founding this school was to create a safe space for my daughters and for supernaturals like them. But today, I fell short of that goal, while all of you exceeded every expectation I had ever set for you. Because today, you were confronted by the worst monster you've faced yet: ignorant human beings.

Sadly, I am one of them. The plans and methods that Triad used to infiltrate our school and endanger your lives were mine. A contingency plan that I had developed and shared with concerned parents over the years, including Veronica Greasley. You see, the dark object that she used to disarm your unique abilities was put in place by me, in the secret tunnel that only I had known about, because I thought that, perhaps one day, it was the world that would need to be protected from your gifts, rather than the other way around. The only way I can atone for this breach of trust is to leave it up to you to decide whether I should remain as your headmaster. The honor council will convene, they will vote, and I will respect whatever decision that they make. ” Alairc turned in our direction where he gestured to Klaus and I. Reaching for my husband's hand I almost couldn’t believe that he trusted us more than anyone else to be put in that high of a position.

“Whatever the council decides should take into consideration that I understand if they replace me. And if they choose to do so you should have someone who is like you. Two people who have been viewed as monsters by the world but have decided to know how to help shape all of you. So I want to suggest that Klaus and Raelyn Mikaelson possibly take over my position. Whichever way this goes, I want to thank you, all of you, for making me understand that the world my daughters inherit will be in better hands.” He walked off the stand leaving the room in silence until we followed after him until we were back in his office.

Shutting the office door behind me with a wave of my hand I recognized Hope’s voice. “Fort Valley, Georgia. Landon's gonna need you when I'm done. You have to write it down.”

Alaric asked her, looking between me and Klaus. “Wait. You're at Triad Headquarters?”

She responded. “Yeah. Uh, don't worry, though. Everyone here is dead.”

He shook his head putting her on speaker phone. “Okay, listen, you're not making any sense. Just put Landon on the phone.”

She stuttered on her words. “I can't. Uh, he would have tried to stop me, so I had to kill him, too. He'll come back. Don't worry. Even if I don't.”

He spoke to her. “Hope, tell me what the hell you're about to do right now before you do it.”

“Clarke won. He found the final artifact, and he tossed it into the pit, which is Landon's father, by the way. And now Malivore's gonna rise unless I stop him.” My eldest daughter became frantic with her words.

Klaus came closer to my side with concern in his tone. “Hope, what exactly are you thinking of doing right now?”

She explained through the phone where I felt my entire body go stiff at her words. “Landon got all the answers, but, basically, Malivore was created by the blood of a werewolf, a witch and a vampire. It used to be that only they could destroy what they created, but nature found a loophole. By making me. The Tribrid. I'm the loophole.”

“Hope, this is a theory. It can’t be your destiny to die. You are my daughter and I refuse to lose you like this!” I growled struggling through tears knowing where she was going with this.

Klaus added on quickly seeing where I was going. “You don’t have a death destiny, little wolf. You are my daughter. You are a Mikaelson, not just some girl who is supposed to defeat some goo.”

Alairc entered the conversation. “You just sit tight and wait for us to get there!”

“I'm the answer to all of this. I can remember things about Malivore that no one else can. That Triad weapon didn't affect me. Did my blood heal Josie?” She ignored our worries, spitting off facts that we all knew.

Her uncle Alairc trails off. “I am not okay with this.”

“I know. But you will be, because once I toss myself into that pit, no one at school will remember me. Including you….my siblings…and…” She sniffed through heavy tears that almost broke my heart knowing there was nothing we could do.

“Us.” Klaus and I responded back in unison where he grasped my hand tighter, crying now at the thought.

Hitting my freehand on the desk I raised my voice at my first born child. “Hope Andrea Mikaelson, you listen to me. You will not jump into a pit to save the others on a theory. You will come back home to us. You will come back…because you are my child. You are a miracle that I didn’t think I could have become of my crazy family until I held you for the first time. From that moment on I couldn’t imagine not ever having kids. I don’t care if you’re being a hero…you have to come back to me and your father. You…have to still be my baby girl!”

“Mom, there’s no other way. You have taught us since we were little to fight for our family. The school is my family. I am the only one who can protect them.” Hope spoke back to me.

Siphoning magic from the desk I throw my hands out smashing stuff around the room in anger and sadness wanting to hold her one final time. “I will burn Triad to the ground before I let them do this to our family!”

“Rae..” Klaus called my name slowly, turning away from Alaric.

Settling the bookshelf on fire with a wave of my hand I collapsed onto the ground flashing my vampire fangs at my husband not being able to control my emotions. “No Niklaus. I won't allow this to happen. She is our daughter. She's…my child. I birthed her…I raised her….I loved her….I won't let Triad rip that all away from us!"

"Raelyn…ssshhh come here. We have to let her go. Yes we will hate it…but we can’t doom the world." Klaus tugged me into his chest just holding my frail form while I clutched onto him for comfort that wouldn't come. "She is being the hero we raised her to be, Rae. We have no choice."

Lifting my head up I sobbed through tears to my daughter. "Hope, I love you forever."

Her father did the same clinging onto me for strength too. "I love you forever too, littlest wolf."

"I love you mom and dad. Always and forever." She responded by hanging up the phone.

At first all I felt was pain and sorrow for my daughter and then it was like that feeling was ripped away. Breaking the embrace with Nik I sent him a confused look. "Why was I crying on the floor, Nik?"

"I have no idea why, Rae." He shrugs his shoulders seeing Alaric reading a note. "What's going on?"

The former vampire hunter handed me a note that said Landon needed help. "I don't know, I just found this beside my phone. We have to go get him. But I have no clue who left it." Klaus and I intertwined hands leaving him to go find our…five children downstairs.

I caught up with blue lock! Right before S2’s release! First ep was cool and the animation is pretty good, I hope it won’t turn bad half way though like in S1… I mean considering how popular it became, there should be a higher budget right? 😭

There’s so many new characters being introduced and while I’m excited to see what they’ll do, I’m also sad Nagi’s impact would be diluted now :’)

Still hype for him though, that he’s retaining his “prodigy” status being the top 6 and all. I wanna see more of his feats, they’re always so hype and impressive. His goals and moves are prob the most unrealistic ones in the series?? But that’s why it’s so impressive?? While rewatching S1, I got reminded why I like him so much. His shots and improvements/awakenings/evolutions are always just on another level? And he only started playing for barely 6 months!! 😭

I feel like during my first watch, I ranked him slightly behind Isagi because Isagi’s badass moments were just way too hype, especially with the buildup for his key moments, and the contrast between his mild off -court personality vs his trash talking, domineering on-court one lol. But now I think Nagi’s got an edge. He too has his “moe gap” between his default, childish, lazy genius self, and his serious egoistic self. Also him effortlessly evolving and performing out of this world feats is just too good to watch. Truly in his own prodigy tier. Though seeing the later spoilers, I wouldn’t be surprised if I revert back to Isagi. I don’t mind just ranking both as favs at this point ;-;

And I managed to squeeze in watching Episode Nagi the movie too! That contributed quite a bit to liking Nagi more, but not just him, its Reo and their relationship too :’)

Reo is just… so precious… Such a loyal (boy)friend ;-; I wanna see them improve separately yet also see them falling deeper into their codependency hell lol. From what I’ve read of spoilers, they seemed to have both regressed and are sticking to each other again?? Reo managed to drag himself out of it once after Nagi abandoned him, but Nagi went back to him for help?? And since Reo’s weak to him, he gave in?? Even Isagi called their whole deal some “teenage drama” he’s so savage 😭

I’ve read some interesting fan analysis on how Nagi (and Reo) could be the antithesis to Bluelock/Isagi. And like it’s so true? Isagi was the first to run towards Bluelock, Nagi was the last and not without a lot of pushing and prodding by Reo and even Ego himself. Isagi is full of egoism, and entirely embraces Ego’s words to grow into a full-fledged egoistic striker. Nagi, while an egoist himself, tends to kill off his ego during critical moments, and has a hard time finding his motivations and sense of self.

And even when all the other characters started “awakening”, Nagi’s was characterised as “curiosity” rather than any sort of ego. It just seems like his journey in Bluelock is the complete opposite of Isagi’s or the expected way. His seems more like finding and understanding his ego/motivation, a more personal journey rather than the “defeat everyone else through being the biggest egoist so that you can be the best striker” way Ego wants. Definitely a more personal discovery journey than the devour everyone around you route lol.

Even in his movie, Nagi (and Reo) stated right from the start they wanna do this together despite Ego’s “inspiring egoistic” speech. They still made a promise right in front of Ego that they’ll stay with each other to the end. Reo himself said his “ego” would be to make Nagi into the best striker rather than be the best himself. Ego, weirdly, didn’t comment. I think he knows they represent an alternative way to success, one that he wouldn’t want to entirely dismiss even if it’s not the method he prefers? But it does seem like narratively, at least for now, them sticking together is doing more harm than good… But it could really go either way, not sure if I wanna see them proving Ego wrong lol. Though I feel like Nagi being the only character to have his own spin off series means that his narrative and what his character stands for should be more significant…

Either way, imagery, symbolism, and technique-wise, Nagi is also the opposite of Isagi. Isagi with his “bringing light to the field”, and all his forward momentum and direct shots, Nagi with his skull and death imagery meant to symbolise killing off the ball’s momentum (since his talent lies in trapping/controlling the ball)…

It’s not exactly light and dark cause that applies more to Isagi and Barou. And it’s not exactly life and death too because Nagi himself embodies that dynamic. His style can either “breathe life to the ball” or “kill it” by trapping it. There’s really a lot of death and skull imagery for Nagi, I’m wondering if his story’s gonna involve themes of “ego death” or something. I kinda have some theories on how his story would unfold but I also think it’s too far fetched so we’ll see 🤡

I’ve also started reading the manga and damn is it hype. I’m almost reaching where the anime is but I’m wavering between reading ahead or not??? Because from my experience with oshi no ko, reading ahead seemed to take away my enjoyment of the anime since I would always be comparing….

Gotta start on the Episode Nagi manga too…. I’m so happy so much love is given to Nagi and I’m glad he’s one of my favs 😭 I’ve read somewhere the author also really favours Nagi (explains the spin off), and so it would make sense to like him so much right?? Since more love and attention are given to create this character, you as a reader would pick up on it right??? From what I’ve read from others, his spin off focuses more on his inner thoughts and relationships, especially with Reo. Definitely a more “personal” spin on this series compared to the main one, where the focus is on abstract concepts about soccer, techniques, ego, Isagi’s growth etc lol.

Ah yes, the ever so incomparable gentle giant on gentle giant loving. You two essentially become Heartslabyul’s parents, the married couple who puts together their infamous Unbirthday Parties and oversees the chaotic children during it.

Really, Trey is already Heartslabyul’s official dad friend pretty much, so anyone who knows that you two are dating will just process it as getting a second father. Maybe they even call you that, and that’s something I’ll let you decide how you feel about.

You just exhale older married couple energy, Trey is more on the mischievous side, but you’re both gentle people, so the time you spend together is usually pretty quiet. It’s especially cute if you like baking or are interested in learning it, Trey will be so happy to have you in the kitchen while he’s doing his work there, though maybe any first years tasked with helping will take it as seeing their parents flirt and kind of ruin the mood.

Jade Leech

Well, he’s definitely a giant too, though he doesn’t really have a particularly strong-looking build. You two make up for quite the intimidating pair from a distance, though people will find out that all that aura of danger comes from Jade, pretty much exclusively.

Jade likes surprises, so it’s natural he’d be drawn to someone with such an interesting contrast in their character. He’d usually poke fun at someone as pure hearted as you seem to be, trying to intimidate them in that polished way of his, but he just finds you captivating. He, too, isn’t immune to the gap moe.

Another case that would have married couple energy, which Jade himself is very keenly aware of. Though Octavinelle residents know better than to treat you so casually, he likes leaning into your space and lovingly teasing you by calling you his husband and the likes.

Jamil Viper

Initially thought you were hiding something, kind of like he is. Surely someone like you couldn’t just be full of nothing but good intentions, right? He just has this feeling that you weren’t as kind as you looked... and, well, he was wrong.

Jamil is kind of surprised he fell for you. He didn’t think someone that had such bright energy would be his type, and yet... you do make up for an odd pair, him with his scheming and you with what seems to be boundless sincere kindness.

As he gets comfortable in your relationship, Jamil actually gets rather clingy? He’s already a jealous lover by nature, though he tries not to let that show, and he knows that you might attract quite some attention... sometimes he just hangs off your arm without meaning to. And, maybe he does crave the sort of treatment you give him, handling him so sweetly.

Rook Hunt

Rook is a guy who knows beauty when he sees it, and from the moment he met you, he knew you were something special. Like a prince straight out of a fairytale, so beautiful both inside and out, he told you once, and you may have wondered briefly if it was him being romantic or thirsty (It’s both, the combination of strength and kindness just really does it for him, okay.)

He fawns over you like crazy, like you’re the king he’s sworn to dedicate his very life to. To be fair, Rook had never expected he’d be in a relationship at all, content on spending his life admiring beauty from a distance, but now that he seems to have met the crown jewel of this world’s beauty, he just feels this need to wholly dedicate himself to you.

And you bet he has a royal-themed nickname for you as well, matching this idea that you’re some kind of benevolent ruler. Maybe you think it’s odd or a little too theatrical, but, isn’t that just Rook? He loves you a lot, that you know, and he reminds you everytime he decides he just needed to wax poetry about you again.

Lilia Vanrouge

Lilia is the one who’s once called you a fine young man, not seeing you as much more than just a nice boy who probably would have gotten along well with one of his own boys... and, well, look at him now, draping himself over you so freely.

Really didn’t expect to fall for you at all, considering how jaded he is on the inside, even though sometimes how sweet you could be really did a number on him. Maybe he started to flirt with you as a joke, since it was pretty much common knowledge in Night Raven that you were quite the appealing guy, but whenever you responded back so sincerely, well... his heart kind of skipped a beat.

...he’s probably stronger than you, even though he’s really small and pretty delicate-looking, Lilia is still an ancient war criminal. Doesn’t mean he won’t play up the difference between your looks though, falling into a damsel in distress role whenever he feels like getting some of that sweet sweet attention.

Deuce keeps a travel log of their shenanigans, who Ace beat, what pokemon did Yamato catch, how many times a fucking beedrill chased them (because of Ace), how Ace should be navigating for the day and getting them lost three times by taking the wrong turns

Still not sure about the other two pokemon Yam would have but I’m kinda set on a steel and ice type as their last ones maybe uhh Alolan ninetales because

Deuce is not very good at battling or catching pokemon, so he relies on Ace and Yamato to catch mons for him to study and then later release

Yamato is great at battling but they lack confidence (thanks Kaido), Ace usually invites them into doubles should they come across another travelling group that are happy to challenge them

Yamato just wants to see the world and after the infernape incident often comes by with Deuce to check in on Ace and help around the ranch, otherwise they go off with Deuce to protect him because Ace’s ninetales wont haha

First up, a Winter Sharena concept!

The last panel would have been Sharena begging to "steal Alfonse's body warmth" while Alfonse subtly/sarcastically teases her about it, Moe trailing behind them (I lost steam/focus though 🥲)

This was The Year Of Bruno as well, and I was testing out/playing with the scenario presented (From the Tempest Trials and from what Winter Bruno says, it seems Alfonse and Sharena spent the holiday together while the Summoner was spending it with Bruno the Envoy)

(funny aspect of this is I don't even really enjoy "why does so and so call you babygirl" jokes anymore LMFAOOO like. Nothing wrong w em and was a decent set up here, but Moe would Not Fucking Say That skskksk) (also you can Tell this is Early On in Moe's development bc its fangs aren't even piercings 😔)

This year I Did revisit Winter Concepts, espp wanting to redo my Idea of a winter Moe who's helping out Bruno with Envoy Duty

All it needed was to become more of a furry and some loose BDSM gear inspo 👍 I was also thinking about a few different things! Like how Bruno's fit is literally just his regular outfit with some Santa suit on top LMFAO. But I was also thinking about how Moe is probably not meant to be recognized here? If it is hanging out with Bruno? Who is actively avoiding being seen by Alfonse and Sharena? So Moe keeps the shoes/tights, but little else!

Final version would have most closely resembled this one!

Once again I'm parsing how okay well how are they interacting with each other. What's the vibe here?

I wanted to draw a bigger piece of them hanging out, maybe spending the night together by the fire with hot cocoa after a hard day's work (again thinking about how it's implied the summoner spent the holiday separately from Alfonse/Sharena). I may revisit the concept again, I feel like there's a lot of potential story-focused comic wise here.... and a lot of set up for some funny conflict later.

But I still think the funniest top 10 decisions I've made in Moe's development/relationships to other characters is. Takumi voice "Wow you guys are insane. I literally have no respect for you people" @ Moe/Alfonse to completely dodge Takumi Feeling Bad. Inferiority complex cured on account of not wanting ANYTHING to do with whatever the fuck they have going on. They're still friends but like, what the fuck!!!! Is WRONG with you guys!!!!!! 😭😭😭
