The former 1891 town hall in Denver, CO was converted to a residence and houses the owner's museum-quality car collection, which is amazing. However, the 4bd, 8ba, 13, 656 sq ft home is so ultra modern in design, there aren't many, if any, historic features. $10.9m.

Large entrance hall. I recognize this home- I posted it quite awhile ago. It probably hasn't sold b/c it's been over-renovated.

They really modernized the historic building. It's disappointing when you don't see anything original.

Very open concept main living area. I wonder what it looked like, originally.

Formal dining room.

Not feeling the kitchen.

They've got a den here.

The home is so big, that they have more than one bar.

Patio outside the bar.

Huge primary bedroom has a clear fireplace and a large sitting room.

Look at the size of the en-suite.

Closet/dressing room. Geez, those closets are so high up.

The home gym is a part of the bedroom suite.

Check out the rooftop deck with outdoor kitchen.

I think that the industrial style rec room is the coolest space in the house. It has the owner's antique car next to the bar.

Here's another display area and the most impressive part of the house.

I guess that the home theater has a counter for eating and drinking during the movie.

Thank you! The irony is that book!Siegfried has been my blorbo since I was 10. I desperately wanted to be him as a closeted trans boy. And here we are.

I have been intentionally evoking him in some way since I got my first tweed coat in college. Am just now committing to a vintage wardrobe, and it's a happy accident that we look similar in his current incarnation - the only real work I've had to do is grow my hair out back to my old haircut (I missed my floofy forelock, anyway). 😆

A case where the cosplay and normal wardrobe lines are pretty much nonexistent. The world is on fire, why not commit to dressing like my blorbo like I have always wanted to.

Started reading The Vampire Armand to help me understand the backstory for a fic I've been planning.

I knew what was coming. I'd read the summary. I was warned by so many fans, but still...this is one of the saddest fucking works of fiction I've read in a long time...and I'm only on chapter three.

This very large 1872 church in Grand Haven, Michigan was basically turned into a mansion. It has 3bds. 3 full ba. & 3 1/2 ba. Listed for $2.825M.

Lovely entrance foyer.

Isn’t this elegant? That staircase.

Look at the clock. Very dramatic. This is such a big space, it makes the piano look small.

What a beautiful fireplace. Love the rounded hearth.

Plenty of space for spreading out in the living room area.

They left the original stained glass windows, but look at the windows on the left. They made one, clear glass. I like that, it’s a good compromise. 

Very elegant counter and look at the ceiling lights. On the left they put up a dividing wall that looks like an art piece.

Look at the stairs sweeping over the kitchen. This is stunning- love the contrast of the dark island.

What a lovely corner.

That desk is made out of an antique piano.

Gorgeous dining area. Love the red chandeliers.

Look at these gates. Such amazing attention to details.

So many nice areas - there’s a spiral staircase to the 2nd level in here, too.

Beautiful hall to a terrace. This is so nice.

Check out the main bd. Stunning.

Look at the keyhole entrance to the en-suite.

What a bath. Glass blocks, and the size of that shower.

Walk-in closet.

Check out the roof-top pool.

Another piano up in the loft.

Check out the basement- simulated golf, beautiful fireplace, pool table and bar. 

Plus a wine cellar.

Even the car has a decorated garage.

Powder room on the basement level.

Two other bds. and baths. They’re beautiful, also.

And, look at the bell tower. I’m sure you can get up there, too. What an amazing home.
