Finding Our Places
I decided to share another chapter on here, I might share more in the future. The chapters don’t necessarily need to be read chronologically as long as you understand the premise.
Jinx adopted a little girl (illegally/kinda kidnapped but nahhh) and got caught by Vi and Caitlyn who then legally adopted her and live with her, Jinx visits or takes her out often whenever she doesn’t have class and even keeps her on the weekends unless they make different plans ahead of time.
Tattoo?
“Mama?”
“Yeah?” Jinx turned to her kid, ignoring the annoyed look Vi gave her for cutting off their conversation about what to have for dinner. It’s not like Jinx cared what was made anyway, she was probably still gonna eat it.
Lilith was taking a few seconds to speak but she was staring at Jinx’s arms intently so she looked at them as well. Jinx lifted her arm before looking back at her daughter, “You like my tattoos?” She asked slowly and Lilith’s gaze went back up to the teenager's eyes before she nodded.
“Maybe when you’re older you can get some.” She grinned and heard someone clear their throat in the room. She turned to see Vi giving her a look but Jinx couldn’t care less. If her baby wanted a tattoo she would get one. Besides she said she would wait til she was older, so what was her problem?
“Maybe don’t talk to the six year old about tattoos.”
“She was curious, and she’ll be fine.”
“I want ones like yours!”
“Yeah yeah okay you little rogue. Just remember to wait til your older.”
“How much older?”
“At least 16.”
“What!” The child shrieked in surprise. Her mama never made her wait a super long time for things she wanted, but now she had to wait til she was 16?! Both of the adults in the room chuckled at her disbelief so she took to pouting before she rolled her eyes and got up and ran upstairs to her bedroom.
“Ah no, Lili wait!” Jinx didn’t hesitate to chase after her pouty daughter, not wanting to leave her to sulk, especially since she mainly came over to spend time with her favorite girl.
Once she got to the room the door was slammed in her face and Jinx couldn’t help but let out another quiet chuckle as she stood there. The only reason this could even happen was because Caitlyn and Vi took her in and gave her everything Jinx couldn’t give her. If they were in her apartment, who knows if she would’ve even been able to give Lilith her own room, her own space to personally sulk or be pouty like this.
It stung a bit to acknowledge again for the hundredth time how much better this really was for her daughter. She slowly turned the dornknob and went inside the room to find her daughter sitting on the edge of the bed and staring at her blankly for a few seconds before she looked to the floor quickly. Jinx blinked while closing the door behind her and walking over tentatively.
“Something wrong?” She asked but her little one only shook her head while still looking at the ground. Jinx narrowed her eyes before sitting on the bed next to the little girl who in turn laid her head on her arm. Of course Jinx knew she was thinking about something and wanted to know what it was, her daughter didn’t commonly stare like that for no reason.
She easily picked her daughter up and placed her on her lap and Lilith didn’t make any move to stop her nor did she seem upset by it. “Lili? You can talk to me. Why’d you look so upset when I came in?”
Her little girl seemed to copy her and narrowed her eyes before she then gripped her shirt and pushed her face into it. Jinx reflexively wrapped her arms around her daughter but now she was even more curious. Should she leave it alone? Will she speak on her own time? Jinx made a face but she looked down at the little one on her lap and she couldn’t help but melt. She could wait.
After a few minutes Lilith pulled back and Jinx looked down at her again. “You didn’t come in at first.” “Huh?”
Lilith’s face started to look embarrassed as she gripped her shirt again. “I heard you run after me… but you didn’t come in. I dunno why but… I thought you didn’t care about me anymore.” She hurried her face back into Jinx’s shirt again.
“What?!” Jinx winced when she saw her daughter flinch at her yell being so close, “Baby no, no, no, of course I still care about you. I’ll always care.” She mumbled next to her daughters head who then looked back at her. She nodded softly but Jinx still felt uncomfortable. No that wasn’t it. She felt uneasy.
She only stood outside the door for two minutes reminiscing, but those two minutes made her daughter think she didn’t care anymore. How could she fix that? She never wanted her to feel like that again. Maybe she should have a serious talk with Vi and Caitlyn about it? Hopefully they would know what to do.
“Mama… I’m sorry.”
Jinx bit her lip as she thought about what she should say here, “You don’t… you don’t have to be sorry for telling me how you feel okay? I’m happy you told me.” She looked down at her and watched closely before continuing, “Do you at least feel better?”
“Mhm.”
“Good,” She placed a light kiss on her forehead before laying back on the rest of the bed, her daughter still in her arms. “How about a nap before dinner?” She felt the girl nod and that was enough of an answer for her.

Here's how to spot a Mad Scientist:
Is very smart in a specific field
Probably hasn't slept in the past 4 days
Depressed
Slowly decends into madness/spirals/gets obsessed over something to the point where they destroy their lives over it
Here are other minor signs you might want to look out for (doesn't apply to all Mad Scientist):
Very pathetic. A loser, if you will
Is gay
Wears glasses
Has a best friend who is extremely friendly and also a poet
Graying hair despite their relatively youthful appearance
Can be a little bit silly (as a treat)
Note that not all Mad Scientists are actual scientists. The Mad Scientist can be disguised as something else and may try to trick you; do not be fooled. Look for these traits to identify a real wild Mad Scientist.
Now you are ready to go out into the wild and find your very own Mad Scientists to hyperfixate on for the next month! Hope this helped❤️

I see way too many fics where Caitlyn is cool. Arcane Caitlyn has a conspiracy board on her floor, no friends we see of her age despite being one of the richest people in Piltover, and sucks at making conversation. This is loser erasure and I will not stand for it. In this essay I will—

Blue hair, blue eyes, blue lights
Jinx x fem!reader / modern AU
summary: The chances of a blue-haired girl being chased by the cops and hopping in my car, simply yelling “Drive!” are low, but never zero.
author’s note: It’s my first time publishing a Jinx one-shot of mine, I hope you enjoy! This is a relatively new blog, so if anyone wants to become mutuals I’m definitely open to the idea! :)

Fourteen days.
A mere two weeks stand between me and move-in day for my freshman year of college. In other words, summer break is slowly coming to an end, and I’ve done fuck all to make it memorable.
I can feel life passing me by as I watch like a bystander. Usually, the clock is my enemy—a constant reminder of my youth running out, and, shit, I’m too young to feel that way. This time, it serves as a way to free me from the shackles of the evening shift as a front desk worker at our local gym.
The clock strikes midnight, and, like a modern-day Cinderella, I jump up from my seat and make a beeline for the exit, hurriedly clocking out. I simultaneously greet and say goodbye to the night shift going in, already halfway through the small yet relatively empty parking lot. The smell of sweaty ‘gym bros’ is long forgotten as the breeze engulfs me, my dirty sneakers thudding on the concrete. The rust on my beat-up jeep shines in the moonlight as I approach—so seductive, I snicker to myself. I toss my duffel bag in the trunk, hop behind the wheel, and start the engine. I take this moment to commence my connect-phone-to-car-or-die-trying mission and thank the universe for its successful outcome. I browse a bit through the plethora of playlists before settling on the usual one, the sound of Arctic Monkeys filling the space as I leave the parking lot.
I don’t want to go home—not yet, at least—so I settle for a late-night drive. The cookie-cutter, upper-class houses pass me by as I mindlessly cruise through the clean streets—a stark contrast to my neighborhood, where you either learn to stick up for yourself or go home crying to your mama. A place where there is more sewage sludge than trees. A place where I grew up and one I learned to love.
In the midst of it all, I don’t notice the particularly nasty bump on the road that makes my song abruptly cut off. I take a right, pulling over in an alley with an annoyed groan as I resort to phase two, also known as connect-phone-back-to-car-before-I-impulsively-crash, of my initial mission. As I fiddle with the settings, showing my inner cheek no mercy as my teeth dig into their feast, a hissing and spritzing sound comes through my open window.
I think I’m imagining things at first, that post-shift fatigue surely getting the best of me, but I spot the source of the sound rather quickly: a figure, hidden almost out of sight between the fancy houses, switching between various colors of spray paint as she defaces the picture-perfect facade with her graffiti. The sheer speed of her actions makes it look like she’s juggling.
How do I know it’s a girl? Well, although she is wearing a hat to shield her face from any surveillance cameras, a neck warmer up to her nose, and a black, oversized tracksuit already covered in pink paint splotches, her disguise was blown the moment she decided to leave her blue, ankle-length, twin braids out. I twist my neck and reach over the dashboard to try and get a better look at her work. I can barely make out the shape of a green monkey’s face before moving on to the next element. Get ji-’
My reading is interrupted by the sound of sirens piercing the air and blue lights illuminating the area. Instinctively, I turn my headlights off and duck, watching the girl as she hastily packs the cans into her backpack. I swear I can see her eyes twinkle with excitement as she takes one last glance at her—presumably—finished artwork and takes off running through the gardens. Her faint giggle reaches my ears, and a bewildered smile graces my features. I wanted fun, and now it’s right in front of me. I definitely couldn’t get a clearer sign than this.
I observe as one of the cops chases after her as the other drives away, seemingly trying to cut her off. Lightbulb moment. I put the car into gear and waste no time following them from the comfort of the dark alleys, reaching the mysterious girl first through the shortcuts. I catch her contemplating her next move and, without hesitation, quickly flash my high beams at her twice. This seems to grab her attention, and I signal for her to get in with a simple nod, tapping the car door as confirmation.
To my surprise, she actually runs over and hops in the backseat, her back lying flat as she takes a swift peek through the window, and holy shit, I didn’t think that she actually would.
“Drive!” she yells through her panting, and I do. I feel my heart beating wildly against my ribcage as the blue lights appear once again in my rearview mirror. Don’t fuck this up, I think before taking a sharp left. I hear her elated squeals as I visualize the district’s roads and plan the perfect getaway.
Right.
Right, once again.
Left.
Straight down the street.
Sharp right.
I can hear the sirens getting closer as I speed through the familiar routes. It doesn’t matter that I know this area like the back of my hand; the cops probably do, too. There is only one thing left to try, and, albeit risky, it should work. They hadn’t spotted my car yet, and we were quickly approaching a busy intersection—the perfect distraction.
The tires squeak as I harshly pull into an empty driveway, turning the engine off in hopes of blending in.
“What the hell are you doing?!” the blue-haired girl grumbles with brooding eyes. I don’t reply. Instead, I shush her as I grab her waist and roll her off the seat, pushing her into the legroom before ducking underneath the steering wheel. We fall silent, holding our breaths in as the police car passes us by. I watch as they get lost in the dense traffic, a sigh of relief escaping me as I throw my head back. I climb into my seat again and take a peek at the tagger in the back, confusion crossing my features as I watch her stuff her face with candy. My candy. “Hefty stash you got back there.” Her mouth twists at the sour taste of a Warhead she picked. She seems completely unfazed by this whole situation.
I notice that she had discarded her hat and neck warmer and take the opportunity to get a better look at her: blue eyes matching her hair, light freckles splattered across her straight nose and rosy cheeks, pouty lips, her dark and expressive brows… She truly is breathtaking. I feel a blush creep up my face as she climbs over the console, wiggling her way into the passenger seat. She takes her hoodie off, revealing her black tank top, and fuck me, she has tattoos.
She faces me with a curious look herself, seemingly analyzing me too. Her gaze is difficult to decipher as her eyes trail over my figure, and I stiffen. She shoots me a knowing smile before throwing her hands around my neck and placing a kiss on my cheek. “You’re a lifesaver, toots,” she muses into my ear. The pleasant smell of paint and bubble gum hits my nose making me lick my lips. “Name’s Jinx, by the way. Stands for Jinx,” she cackles to herself, drawing her lower lip between her teeth awaiting my introduction.
I blink a couple of times, realizing how silent I’ve been throughout this whole ordeal. I can get awkward, sure, but I’m not timid, so I muster up the courage and consciously relax, trying to project a nonchalant attitude. “I’m Y/N.” I shoot her a smile of my own.
“Y/N. Hmm…” Jinx gives an approving hum as she repeats after me, my name rolling off her tongue like honey. “What made you help little ol’ me?” New observation: she’s a teaser.
“I need some excitement in my life,” I answer truthfully and she perks up with a spark in her eyes.
“Toots, you’ve just made friends with the perfect candidate to help you with that.” Her giddy attitude returns as she beams at me.
“We’re friends, huh?” I tease at her choice of words, my eyebrows raised in a cocky manner.
“Sure we are! I feel like running from the cops together is the perfect bonding experience, don’t ya?” She gives me a once-over before her mouth curves into a smirk. “Unless you want to be more than friends. That could work, too.” She winks. Her straightforwardness should make me turn crimson, but instead, it makes my confidence grow. I give a low chuckle as I shake my head in disbelief.
“Tell you what,” I begin, starting the engine and trying to connect my phone back to the car for the third time already, “let me get you home safely, and we’ll see what tomorrow brings to our friendship. Deal?” I extend my hand toward her, and she ponders my proposition. I can practically see the cogs turning in her head, her facial expressions jumping from sour to doubtful, as if she were battling her thoughts before settling on a satisfied grin.
Her soft hand reaches mine in a princess handshake, and I try not to look at her manicured nails for too long. “Deal.” The blue-haired girl snatches the phone out of my hands, adding her number to my contact list and sending a quick text to herself. Just when I think she’s giving it back, she picks a song, and I hear Arabella playing through the speakers. How fitting.
As I leave the stranger’s driveway, I sense her shuffling in the passenger seat, throwing her legs out the window. She puts her head on my lap freely, toying with the colorful charms on my keychain. In the spur of the moment, I gingerly brush her bangs behind her ear, revealing her side profile. Her gaze catches mine, and I see her eyes soften before I turn mine on the road again.
Jinx tells me her address, and I realize how close to me she lives—the perfect circumstances. I feel her lightly bobbing her head to the music as her left cheek strokes my thigh, her fingers tracing mine as they sit on the gear stick. Her demeanor feels different from the badass tagger who willingly hopped in a stranger’s car. She looks peaceful and content now.
My shoulders slump in disappointment as I park outside her house. She clicks her tongue and lazily lifts her head from the comfort of my lap. She looks around the empty streets of her neighborhood and hums, her curious eyes now shifting to mine. As we take each other in, I can’t help but gravitate toward her—her presence feels almost intoxicating, and I don’t want to part ways just yet. To my surprise, she copies my actions. She’s so close I can feel her minty breath mingle with mine. Instinctively, my gaze drops to her lips as she tentatively licks them. I let out a faint sigh, and she slowly closes the distance. I can hear my heartbeat as I wait for our lips to meet.
But they never do. “I don’t kiss on a first date,” she murmurs in my ear, and my face flushes. Jinx pulls away as she flashes me a toothy grin, and before I can even react, she’s already skipping to her front door, slinging her backpack over her shoulder. Wha-? When did she grab her stuff? I stare in disbelief as she turns around, her braids flailing behind her. “Let’s see what tomorrow brings,” she teases and blows me a kiss before disappearing into the dark hallway of her home.
Fourteen days.
Give me two weeks to make her mine.

Finding our Places
I wanted to share my favorite chapter so far of the story on here so that’s what this is. This is posted as chapter 13, the story does not need to be read chronologically as long as you understand the premise of it.
Baby’s First Picture
“Hey kiddo come here!” Vi called Lilith over with a smile, watching as the 6-year-old came into the living room with Jinx trailing behind her as she expected.
“Yes?” She asked and the woman only patted the spot on the couch next to her. At this point, Lilith never really fussed about being around them anymore, and lately, she even seemed to want to spend time with Vi and Caitlyn and the two women couldn’t have felt more proud.
When Lilith sat down Jinx went behind the couch and just leaned on the back of it to see over their shoulders at whatever Vi had to show her daughter. The older sister smiled at the lack of sarcasm since they both came into the room and pulled out her phone.
“I wanted to show you both the picture I took at the amusement park, I think it’s a really good one!”
“I agree,” Caitlyn added from right next to her with a grin and they both watched as Jinx rolled her eyes with a chuckle, and they expected the same reaction from their daughter but to their surprise, she only furrowed her eyebrows and looked at them confused.
“What’s a picture?” She asked slowly and the three of them blinked at her a few times before Caitlyn spoke up.
“Well, a picture is kinda like a really good drawing that shows a moment that you want to remember for a very long time. But it’s instant and it doesn’t take any time to see it afterward.” The explanation seemed to be enough for their daughter who just nodded and then looked back at Vi expectantly.
Vi had a small smile as she pulled the picture up on her phone and then passed it to Lilith. It was the moment at the food stand right after Caitlyn had kissed Vi’s cheek and Lilith had pretended to be sick, so of course Jinx had decided to bring her daughter into her arms and attack her with kisses and light tickles. Cait was looking over at the two of them with a laugh clear on her face and Vi was grinning up at the camera as she took the picture.
Lilith’s eyes go wide as she looks at the picture. She looks between it and each of her family members with the same shocked expression. None of them knew what was going through her little head but when they saw her bottom lip quiver it quickly sent them into panic mode.
“Lili-“
“We look really happy.” She starts slowly, and one by one, each of the adults gradually un-tense themselves and let the girl continue. “L-like a real family. I love it so much.” Her little voice cracked at the last second and Jinx didn’t hesitate to go around the couch and pick her daughter up to sit on her lap and pull her into a hug. Lilith quickly burrowed herself into her mama’s arms and Jinx looked at the other two with a soft look. Vi smiled while Caitlyn felt herself swallow quickly but she didn’t give herself a moment to overthink it as they both joined the hug easily.
The 6-year-old only lasted a few seconds before she started crying lightly. Nobody else said anything as she cried but they all held her and gave comforting back rubs and pats. Eventually, they started to pull away and Lilith was left sitting on Jinx’s lap and gave a few small sniffles.
“Thank you for taking me in, mama.” Jinx opened her mouth but felt her chest squeeze and so she took her daughter’s hand and held it tightly and looked at the girl with all the affection she could muster up.
“Of course my little rogue.” Lilith laid her head on her mother’s chest so she was facing the other two women.
“Thank you for adopting me.” Caitlyn’s eyes teared up a bit but she quickly wiped them as Vi cleared her throat to keep her voice from cracking as she responded.
“Of course kiddo.”
“Yes, of course, we love you.”
Jinx felt herself stiffen for a moment, as she looked at Caitlyn in surprise, none of them had exactly used the word before. Obviously, she loved her daughter but she never wanted to pressure her into feeling like she had to respond. But then Lilith pulled away slightly from her and nodded.
“I love you too.” Vi and Cait stared at her in awe and this time when Caitlyn felt her tears she didn’t wipe them, they were just streaking down her face. Vi looked as if she had a bunch of emotions welling up but she didn’t want to overwhelm their daughter so she just covered her face with both hands. At that, their daughter turned back to Jinx who was looking at her with a slack jaw but she didn’t care and wrapped her arms around the woman’s neck to bury her face in her neck.
“I love you so much mama.”
Is this what dying felt like? Hearing those words from her daughter filled her with so many feelings that she didn’t know how to contain. Growing up emotionally stunted didn’t prepare her for this warmth and care and she wasn’t sure what she should do, or how she should react. Her throat grew tight as she pulled her daughter as close as possible in a hug.
“I love you too.” It came out as a bit of a croak because of how tight her throat felt but she made sure to get the words out either way. They stayed like that, each of them enjoying the comfort of just being together and while the three adults looked a wreck they all were practically glowing.
Eventually, Jinx stood up with her daughter in her arms hanging there loosely. “I’m gonna go put her to bed.” After they bith gave a nod the couple started whispering among themselves as Jinx headed upstairs to her kid’s room. She slowly pushed the door open and walked over to her bed, gently placing Lilith under the covers and carefully tucking her in (which was easy since she never made her bed anyway, despite Caitlyn’s scoldings. She couldn’t be more proud of that fact.) Before pulling away completely she leaned down to press a soft kiss to her forehead and she couldn’t help but watch her for a few seconds.
A small memory of Vi doing the same to her when they were kids came to mind. A different time that felt like it was forever ago, it felt like it happened to a different person, someone who wasn’t her, but it was. That was something she was slowly coming to terms with as she allowed herself to get close to Vi again, and accidentally started to tolerate Caitlyn more than she originally wanted to. That Powder was still her, that she wasn’t unlovable, that there are people in her life who genuinely care and want the best for her despite everything she had done and how she pushed people away and hurt them. And even that accepting help didn’t make her weak. Sometimes it’s necessary… and looking down at her daughter, the one who kickstarted all of these thoughts and feelings, she couldn’t help but feel grateful for the help she got. Lilith was happy and loved. And she wasn’t just settling or just accepting everything happening around her anymore which Jinx can honestly understand now the difference.
When they lived in her apartment Lilith was content with almost anything Jinx did or said. She rarely fussed or asked for anything, but it’s not like Jinx could’ve given her much by herself in the first place. But since moving in with Caitlyn and Vi that changed. She complained and was fussy, she made it clear when she didn’t like something happening to or around her, and she even felt okay asking for things she wanted in general which was the biggest change. Jinx tried to help her do that when they were together but she could count on her hands how many times Lilith actually asked for something. And most of those things were food related. But Vi and Caitlyn were able to show her that she could ask for things and encouraged her to do so so easily. Jinx had at first felt jealous and insecure about it, but it was a sign of Lilith growing so she couldn’t stay mad for long.
Jinx let out a soft sigh and tapped her daughter’s nose lightly, “boop.” Which led to her lightly chuckling as she finally left the room. She knew this was probably only going to be a short nap because it was still way too early in the day for the 6-year-old to go to bed, but she understood that all those emotions definitely tuckered the kid out.
As she traveled back downstairs she saw the couple still talking and walked back over. “What’s up?” She asked simply.
“We were thinking of printing out the photo for Lilith.” Vi easily told her and Jinx lit up at that, her eyes wandering to the phone as a smile took over her face.
“She would love that.” The other two nodded in agreement before Caitlyn added, “And I was thinking if we printed out multiple then we could all have one as well.”
Jinx rocked back and forth on the balls of her feet happily and this time she nodded in agreement. “Absolutely, though there’s no way I don’t get at least 10 copies.”
She said it as a fact and both of them rolled their eyes knowing Jinx was telling them to make sure she got at least 10 copies because she wasn’t going to print it out or offer to pay. After a second Vi chuckled and finally put her phone away. “Sure why not.”

"you're fuckin' nasty" she whispers, impressed. you chuckle around her fingers. you've been using the same few moves on sevika since you met, and she's just as shocked and turned on each and every time.
i wrote this line for a smutty fic a few days ago and since then i've been compiling a short list of things you do in bed that drive sevika crazy. hope you enjoy :)
love, angel
men and minors dni
waking her up with head
you learned pretty early on in your relationship not to wake sevika up with head... unless it was a weekend.
the first time you tried was on a wednesday morning. you woke up to pee, but couldn't fall back asleep once you slid back in bed. with an hour to kill before your alarm was due to go off, you figured it was the perfect opportunity to show your girlfriend a little appreciation for the multiple orgasms she'd coaxed out of you last night.
with a bit of shuffling, you positioned yourself under the covers between sevika's naked legs. she's easy to maneuver when she's sleeping. a few kisses to her thighs and she was opening her legs for you with a deep snore. you giggled, and then got to work.
you started slow, not wanting to wake her right away. little kitten licks to her clit, kisses up and down her labia, gently tracing patterns in the soft pubic hair that decorates her inner thighs.
she quickly started getting wet, intermittent huffs escaping her lips, her legs twitching. you started to apply more pressure in your licks, twirling your tongue over her cilt before you sucked it in your mouth. she moaned and sleepily mumbled your name above you.
just as you began to ease your first finger into her, sevika seized up, gasping. the covers were thrown back, the sudden cool air making you shiver as you looked up at your panting sleep ruffled girlfriend.
"morni--" you weren't able to finish your sentence. sevika flipped you on your back and straddled your face, immediately sinking down onto your mouth.
she rode your face until she came, and then with a little begging on your end, rode it again.
you lost yourself between her thighs, high on the taste of her and her cum, a little lightheaded from the oxygen deprivation. the only thing you could see was her lovely bush and a sliver of her taught abs, the only thing you could feel was her hands in your hair. you couldn't hear anything with her thighs squeezing your ears so deliciously, so you must have missed it when your alarm sounded.
by the time she was done with you, she'd come four times and you were pussydrunk, completely unaware of the fact that sevika had smashed the alarm clock to bits with her fist when it sounded half an hour ago and interrupted her orgasm. she seemed to forget this fact too, as she began to kiss down your body eager to repay you.
by the time the two of you were done, it was half past noon.
you cursed her out as you rushed to get ready for work, already three hours late.
she simply shrugged, typing away on her phone.
if you hadn't been so late you would've been throwing your shoes at her instead of hastily shoving them on.
just as you were rushing out the door, you felt her tug on your arm.
sevika twirled you around to face her, holding her phone up beside her.
"texted your boss. told him you were sick. he said 'no worries, tell her get better. thumbs up emoji.'" she read off her phone.
"and i just told silco something came up." she said with a cheeky smirk as she tossed her phone behind her aimlessly.
"i really can't believe i tolerate you." you grumbled as she began to tug you back to the bedroom, her fingers unbuttoning your work shirt.
"what'd you expect to happen when you wake me up with a surprise like that?" she asked as she shoved you back in bed.
2. tucking a pair of your panties into her pockets
one time, the two of you were attending some boring ass fundraiser for a business friend of silco's. you'd had a long day at work but insisted you'd come anyways, despite sevika assuring you you didn't have to. you knew how much she hated these things and didn't want her to have to suffer alone.
in an attempt to keep you awake, sevika'd been teasing you all night, gently trailing her fingers higher and higher on your thigh beneath the tablecloth.
every ten minutes, she'd lean over to whisper something dirty in your ear. for the first hour or so, you were able to keep it together, but after a few too many glasses of champagne, you were so wet you were sure you were going to slide out of your seat.
at some point she had to leave the table to make small talk. she'd huffed an annoyed sigh and pressed a kiss to your head.
"i'll be back soon. then i'm getting us the fuck out of here." she whispered, gently tucking her blazer over your shoulders.
you took the opportunity to run to the bathroom. you fussed with your hair in the mirror for a minute then splashed your face with cold water in an attempt to soothe the lust burning inside you. with a sigh you entered a stall, hiking your dress up and pulling your panties down to pee.
you were soaked. it was kind of pathetic.
just as you were finishing up, you were struck by a moment of genius. you giggled as you kicked off your panties, shoving them in the inner pocket of sevika's blazer.
you wiped and flushed, washed your hands and fluffed your hair and returned to chit chat with familiar faces as you waited for sevika to finish.
the night went on for hours. by the time the two of you were leaving you were practically asleep in sevika's arms.
she chuckled as you nuzzled into her chest, leaning against a light post waiting for your taxi.
"need a smoke." she grumbled. you pulled away as she patted her pockets, looking for her cigarette tin.
you had completely forgotten about the little surprise you'd hidden away in her blazer until sevika froze, her eyes snapping to yours.
"whoops." you giggled. "forgot i put those there."
you were saved from being fucked against the lamppost by the arrival of the cab sevika had called, but the second you got home she was tearing your dress off and shoving your panties in your mouth.
needless to say, sevika managed to keep you awake much later than you anticipated that night.
3. helping her put her strap on
it's always a little awkward when the two of you have to pause for sevika to shimmy into her harness and get it all buckled up.
it's one of your favorite parts of sex, actually.
the silly giggles that ring out as she trips over her feet make your heart melt, and watching the way she sticks her tongue out as she tries to buckle the tricky buckles always makes you smile.
but if you really want to rev her up, you kneel before her to gently guide her feet through the loops, kissing the buckles after you adjust them to hug her snugly.
each time you do she shudders, a full bodied thing that she can't control.
she fucks you like an animal every time you use this move, growling and clawing at you, manhandling you and snarling anytime you try to move from where she's arranged you. it's hot as fuck, but you always have trouble walking the next day.
4. biting her
nips and hickeys always get sevika going, but if you bite her she'll cum. instantaneously. she can't help it.
if you've been making out, you can lean down and bite her shoulder and she'll cum, cursing you and shaking beneath you.
if she's fucking you from behind and has her hand over your mouth, you can sink your teeth in and feel her thrusts stutter as she chokes out a 'fuck! 'm cumming!'
you try to use your power sparingly, but sometimes you can't help yourself.
once the two of you were in a little play scuffle, fighting over the remote for the television. you were determined to watch something besides the boring ass nano-biology docu-series sevika'd been obsessed with. she had you in a headlock by her hip, giving you a noogie as she cackled. you huffed and turned your head to bite her hip... and then it was your turn to laugh as she gasped and shook, cumming in her pants in the middle of the living room.
5. telling her you love her
it sounds corny, and sevika would rather die than admit it, but she falls apart every time you tell her you love her in bed.
she could have a plan to tease and edge you all night long, but the second those three words leave your lips she'd be sighing a sweet little sigh and easing into you, kissing your pout away.
on one particularly memorable occasion, you had tied sevika's hands to the bed frame to ride her, and had moaned out a 'love you' as you came. a loud ripping noise echoed through the room as sevika broke through her bonds to pull you closer to her.
you guys don't fight enough to have angry sex, but sometimes one of you will need it a little rougher and harder than usual. it's invigorating to fuck like you hate each other, but it never lasts because you can never help yourself from choking out those three words. when you do, sevika halts her brutal pace, her expression melting from a look of intense concentration into an affectionate smile. she admires you for a moment before she begins again at a much slower pace, pressing her whole body against yours, kissing whatever part of you she can reach, repeating the words back to you. "love you too baby," she whispers reverently. "so fuckin' much."

Anyone who makes a modern au of Arcane that doesn't include a freshly out of jail young adult Vi and a long suffering totally not shady businessman Silco having split custody of a pissy teen Jinx who constantly pits her guardians against eachother to get exactly what she wants is doing it incorrectly

“Uno, motherfucker!”
Jinx is… competitive, to say the least. As of right now, we’re lying on my bed, legs tangled, and playing UNO while it’s pouring outside. It’s well past midnight, and I stopped trying to shush her victory cheers after the second round. She has a way of making her presence known and commanding your attention, but truthfully, she isn’t hard to miss anyway. Every aspect of her exudes an unapologetic ‘Look at me!’ aura—from her infectious laughter to her bold fashion sense. Even her braids have a life of their own, swirling and swaying with every step she takes. She’s unforgettable.
But I’ve come to discover a more delicate side of her in her most vulnerable moments. It’s almost like she transforms into a different person, both in terms of her personality and, surprisingly, her appearance. Her features become softer, more child-like, her eyes wide and innocent. The way she effortlessly switches from one persona to the other is impressive to witness. On the flip side, she has a tendency to become obsessive and possessive, which resulted in us spending almost every waking moment together. You may call me crazy, but it makes me feel needed. Ultimately, isn’t that what we all want?
These are just a few of the observations I’ve made about her in the past two weeks. My mind’s file on her is growing exponentially, tucking away every information I learn about her in a safe place—from her preference for orange juice but hate for oranges to her strained relationship with her older sister, which makes my room the designated hangout spot whenever we’re stuck inside. Jinx is a complex person with many layers, and while I can’t claim to know everything about her just yet, I do feel like I have built a stable foundation of understanding what makes her unique. I certainly know enough to start falling for her.
“Alright, alright, you win. Again,” I say with a small smile playing on my lips and twenty cards in my hands. My phone is buzzing beside me—probably another message from my mom asking us to be quieter—and I ignore it. I still remember her face when she asked us how we met, and Jinx jumped up, telling her all about the police chase, earning a nudge in the ribs from me. It’s a miracle she still lets us hang out, but with the number of times the blue-haired girl sneaked in through my window, I don’t think it would’ve changed much if she didn’t.
I feel a yawn building up, but before it reaches the surface, I’m pinned against my bed. “And what do I get for winning?” Jinx teases as she straddles my hips, and I certainly feel awake now. Another thing that I learned about her is how touchy she gets, but it still catches me off-guard at times. My heart rate quickens, and I’m sure she feels it pulsating through my wrists. She smirks at my dumbfounded expression and lowers herself even more, brushing her nose against mine. “Cat got your tongue?”
This proximity between us takes me back to the night we met when we almost shared a kiss. Fucking almost. Although I’m familiar with many aspects of her, I’m still a stranger to the way she tastes. Is it sweet like the Skittles she keeps stealing from me or, on the contrary, sour like the Warheads? Perhaps it carries the freshness of her toothpaste or the fruity allure of her cherry-flavored chapstick. I need an answer to the question that’s been consuming my thoughts as of late, and I need it now.
Just when I’m about to get it, my phone buzzes again, and—you guessed it—Jinx pulls away and casually snatches it off the bed, reading the message. I feel like I’m about to explode.
“Aw, why didn’t you tell me that we woke your mom up?” she innocently asks as I stare at the ceiling with a blank look. I suddenly feel self-conscious. Maybe I was misunderstanding our connection since the beginning. Maybe she never wanted us to take it further. And maybe this is another thing that I need to learn about her—she’s just flirty, and there’s no ulterior motive behind her actions. How fucking stupid was I to think otherwise? I’d be fine if she wanted to stay friends, but this whole teasing is starting to make me feel like a toy. I need clarity.
“I guess I was too focused on our game,” I finally mutter as a reply, putting the UNO deck away before standing up to grab us two fresh pairs of pj’s. When I turn to face her again, she’s already watching me with a worried expression.
“You okay, toots?” I’m not. Jinx walks over, and her bare feet make a thumping sound across my carpet. She positions herself in front of me as her eyes analyze my demeanor, and I feel vulnerable under her scrutinizing gaze. I wonder if now’s the time to be open about my feelings, but as I take in her cerulean eyes—I stopped calling them blue as they’re so, so much more than that—I can’t bring myself to face the rejection.
My cowardice wins.
“I’m fine,” I say with a tight-lipped smile before presenting her with a nightshirt. She opens her mouth, presumably to push her investigation further, but decides against it. Her eyebrows knit together at the newfound awkwardness.
We change into our nightwear, and Jinx snuggles under the comforter while I head to turn off the lights. I remember her fear of the dark, and quickly turn on the nightlight, casting a soft pink glow across the room. I find myself wondering if she cares enough to remember the little things about me, too. I slide into bed alongside her, making sure to maintain a respectful distance between us. The air is filled with an uncharacteristic silence, broken only by the gentle patter of raindrops outside and our quiet breaths.
I flip on my side, my back toward Jinx as I try to fall asleep. I can sense her restless shuffling as she tries to find a comfortable position before she settles by wrapping her arms around my torso. She’s flush against me, and I let out a sigh—screw it. I turn around and face her before pulling her frame into my chest. Her grip tightens, and a shuddering breath escapes past her lips. I’m not a mind reader, but I know that the sudden sour mood brought her feelings of uneasiness, and a plethora of negative thoughts, igniting her own insecurities. I rest my cheek on top of her head and close my eyes. My hand finds its way into her hair, and I start massaging her scalp gently. When she finally relaxes, it doesn’t take long for me to hear her soft snores.
I don’t remember dozing off, but the morning light filtering through my window comes too early as I slowly flutter my eyes open. My eyelids feel heavy, and my bed is unexpectedly empty, fueling my disoriented state. I sit up groggily and rub the sleep from my face before scanning the room in hopes of catching a glimpse of Jinx, but she’s nowhere to be found.
Right as I’m about to sink into self-pity over her Irish goodbye, my bedroom door suddenly bursts open. I jump, and my tired eyes lock with her cheerful ones. I guess she never left after all.
“You’re finally awake! Good morning!” she exclaims with a radiant smile while skipping over to me, her slightly gapped teeth proudly on display. Her braids are tousled from sleep as she settles on the edge of the bed, presenting me with a plate of freshly made chocolate chip pancakes. “Made your favorite. And don’t worry, I already cleaned up,” she adds, and my heart swells as my eyes flicker between her and the breakfast she prepared. She does the same, a giddy smile on her face and her lower lip caught between her teeth. Yet, as I remain silent, her shoulders slump and the sparkle dims, replaced by a nervous fidgeting of her hands. “It’s okay if you don’t like–”
I interrupt her by pulling her into a tight embrace, expressing my gratitude. At first, Jinx is taken aback, but she soon returns the hug, burying her face into my neck. The scent of vanilla extract lingers in her hair—probably from messing with it during her cooking—and her skin radiates an unusual warmth, bringing a small smile to my face.
“Okay, trinket. Dig in and get some energy,” she says, pulling away as she walks over to my vanity mirror and starts unbraiding her hair. Well, don’t mind if I do. “It’s your college move-in day after all!” She giggles happily, and I almost choke at her words. It isn’t just move-in day; it’s my imaginary deadline of making her mine slowly ending. Despite my lack of progress, she has kept her word in showing me fun—however this friendship goes, I will be sure that I’ve felt alive at least once in my life.
“Shit, I forgot! What time is it?” I scramble to find my phone, which has been lost somewhere under the pillows. I leap to my feet, unsure of what to grab first as I start flailing around. “I still need to finish packing and–and load the boxes into the car, and I–”
“Woah, slow down!” Jinx grabs my shoulders and grounds me in the middle of the room. She takes a deep breath and urges me to mirror her actions. “What am I here for?” Her hands trail up my neck and rest on my jawline, leaving me breathless again. “Finish eating first, then we can worry about the rest. Capiche?” I nod, and she pats my cheek with a grin. “Good girl.”
I’m left flustered, and she resumes untangling her hair as if she didn’t just say the hottest shit I have ever heard in my life. I try to keep my cool and finish my breakfast, but my imagination is running wild with all the scenarios I could be a good girl in. I pick out some fresh clothes for the day, trying my best to act casual while my thoughts are anything but.
“I’m just going to freshen up. I’ll be back in a few,” I say and head to the bathroom, hoping that a cold shower would tame my heat. But, on the other hand, there’s a part of me that’s begging for her to join and do it for me.
She never does—obviously—but I come back with a clearer head. Jinx’s hair is now completely down, her vibrant blue waves cascading to the floor. I see her struggle to part it evenly and decide to step up.
“Here, let me help you,” I offer as I gently take the comb from her hands, carefully brushing out any leftover knots before dividing her hair into two even sections. As I work on the base of the first braid, I steal glances at her in the mirror’s reflection. Her eyes are closed, and she occasionally lets out content hums, seemingly lost in thought.
“For the record, toots,” she speaks up as she now deftly weaves the second braid with practiced fingers, “I don’t let just anyone touch my hair.” My brain is slowly putting the meaning behind her words together, and a smile tugs at my lips as realization dawns on me—I’m special. Despite my best efforts, I fail to conceal my grin. Jinx communicates a lot through body language, so when she explicitly says what’s on her mind, it stuns me a bit.
“So, I’m not just anyone, huh?” I tease and concentrate on finishing the braid.
“Clearly you’re my getaway driver,” she retorts with a smirk, and I nudge her shoulder.
Once we’re done working on her hair, we begin filling up the boxes and clearing out most of my room. It’s a mix of emotions knowing that I’m moving away, even if it's only temporary. But what really tugs at the strings of my heart is the thought of not being able to spend as much time with the blue-haired troublemaker. With my upcoming college schedule and her still torn between taking a gap year or not, the idea of our bond weakening is the most difficult part to imagine. If I’m lucky, perhaps life will allow our connection to endure and flourish.
“Sheesh, I don’t remember packing rocks. Did you?” Jinx huffs as she loads the last box into my car. I laugh and shut the trunk.
“It’s my books, dummy,” I reply and get behind the wheel as she takes the passenger seat.
“At least you’ll be too busy reading to hook up with anyone,” she mutters, connecting my phone to the car, and my cheeks flush. Totally normal thing to say to a friend.
The song Jinx chose is blasting through the speakers as I pull off. We fall silent, but I can see her bopping her head to the music in the corner of my eye, lost in her own world with her feet on the dashboard, which she had decorated ‘the Jinx way’ as she called it. Meanwhile, I’m filled with embarrassment as I realize that I haven’t even checked the released college roommate assignments. How awkward will it be if I introduce myself to my bunk buddy after moving in? On a scale of one to ten, I deem it a seven. I don’t even remember filling out the housing application, for fuck’s sake.
We’re halfway there when we decide to take a quick pit stop, and I pull over on a backroad underneath a row of trees. Jinx gets out of the car with an indecipherable expression, and I follow in confusion. I’m no stranger to her mood swings, but I still get concerned. She’s walking around in circles, kicking at the dirt and stray rocks caught in the crossfire of her boots. When I open my mouth to call out for her, she beats me to it.
“Can I talk to you about something, toots?” she asks as she whips around to face me. I simply nod, and she continues, “Somewhere private.” She climbs into the backseat as I look around the empty road. Doesn’t get much more private than this, but I digress. I shut the door behind me and get comfortable.
“So what did you–” I don’t have a chance to finish as she straddles my lap, and I get a sinking feeling in my stomach as I recall what happened the last time she did this—her teasing won’t stop unless I speak up, but when I take notice of the whirlwind of emotions flashing through her eyes, my hands subconsciously fall to her hips, tracing soothing circles on the soft skin. I realize I’d rather be stuck in limbo than lose her altogether.
“Is there something wrong with me?” Her question takes me by surprise, and my eyebrows shoot up. She squeezes my cheeks with one hand, turning my face upwards.
“W–what? Why would you think that?” I stutter as her gaze skims over my features.
“Why won’t you make a move already?” Her voice is wobbly, and I’m left speechless. My mouth opens and closes like a fish out of the water as I rack my brain for the right words.
“I wasn’t–I’m not sure if you want me to,” I finally reply, and she makes a face.
“Look at us, Y/N” –she gestures to our current position– “you’re a smart girl, don’t act clueless now.”
Realization hits me like a train. Jinx needs loyalty and devotion—she needs me to show her how much I want her. She wants to know that despite her complex character, I’ll stick around and fight for her. In retrospect, it all seems so simple and obvious.
“Jinx?” My voice is barely above a whisper as I look into her eyes. She can only hum in response. “I’m going to count to three, and then I’m going to kiss you.” Her grip on me loosens in surprise, and her wide eyes are blinking rapidly. “I’m giving you those three seconds to stop me if you change your mind.” She stays silent, and I begin my countdown.
1…
2…
3.
When I finally taste her, I realize how badly I’ve been starving.
My hands cannot bring her close enough to me as I snake my arm around her waist and rest my free hand on her jawline. I’m not holding back anymore. If she wants devotion, I’ll show her exactly that.
I’m furious—furious that I’d been denied this pleasure for so long, but my lips move against hers as if they’d already danced this way before. It’s effortless, like the gliding of a pen on paper from an inspired writer’s hand, and she’s the muse.
It’s not a gentle kiss, the way first ones usually go. It’s hungry, rough, and precisely what was needed to let out the pent-up tension. It’s swirling tongues, dripping saliva, and smudged lipsticks. Without ever pulling away, I carefully lay her on her back, and my fingers sink into the soft flesh of her thighs. Her colorful nails claw at my back, and I groan into her mouth, digging my hips into hers. We’re both breathing heavily through our noses, and my attention shifts to her neck by biting and sucking on the tender skin, letting my hands roam over her curves freely, mapping out her body.
A trail of hickeys is forming on her collarbone, and she’s a moaning and whimpering mess under my touch; it’s a blissful sight. She locks her slender legs around my hips and pulls me further into her, chasing more friction. Watching her become so needy thrills me even more, and my hand tentatively falls to her clothed crotch. Her jaw slacks in anticipation as my fingers ghost over the area where she needs me most, and her back arches into me in response. I want to watch her unravel beneath me, shaking limbs and sweat dripping from her temples.
But she’d teased me too many times for me to grant her this relief right now.
I relish the feeling of our closeness with one last peck and catch Jinx’s lower lip between my teeth, pulling on it slightly before letting go, earning a faint whine from her.
We’re both panting and trying to catch our breaths as I hover above her, my palms firmly planted on the seat on either side of her face, propping myself up. I can’t help but admire my work. Her cheeks are flushed, and her lips are swollen, her smudged plum lipstick matching the bruises on her neck—still, she’s absolutely beautiful. She watches me through half-hooded eyes with her pupils dilated, and I smirk at her breathlessness.
“Leaving me high and dry, trinket?” she asks, and her hands fall to my hips, trying to pull me back in.
“Call it payback,” I reply before hoisting her back into my lap, and she yelps in surprise.
Jinx grips my shoulders to steady herself, and I try my best to smooth out her disheveled hair. I start peppering sweet kisses to her bruised skin, and she lets her head fall back with a pleased sigh. I pull her back in so my lips can find hers once again. It’s much slower this time, grounding us in the moment, and there’s that delicate side of her peeking through with each swipe of her tongue. When I pull away and take notice of her peaceful state, I know it was all worth the wait. I caress her cheek with the back of my hand, and she leans into my touch.
“Do you have any idea how long I’ve craved this?” I whisper, and an amused glint flashes through her eyes.
“Two weeks isn’t that long.” She’s giggling now, and this sound alone is enough to bring a smile to my face.
“It is when you’re right in front of me, and I’m unable to touch you properly.” My thumb starts working on cleaning up her smudged lipstick, and her features soften as she mirrors my actions.
Sitting in the backseat with her feels like a full-circle moment. This is where it all began—a simple thrill-seeking witness turned getaway driver for a blue-haired menace.
Fourteen days.
It took me two weeks to make her mine.
I can’t help the dumb smile tugging on the corners of my mouth as I start driving again. Jinx’s head is on my lap, the same way it was the night we met, and she’s telling me which houses she’s planning on tagging next. The drive goes by quickly as we exchange our opinions on what the Montana spray paint smells like—I say cotton candy, she’s hellbent on bubblegum—and before we know it, I’m parking outside my future college.
“Oooh, look how fancy,” Jinx speaks up as she analyzes the building, and she’s absolutely right. The size itself is intimidating, and I can already see myself getting lost in the halls. The architecture looks modern with futuristic touches, and the campus is surrounded by grass and cherry blossom trees. If it wasn’t for my scholarship, I wouldn’t even dream of affording to study here. “Is now a good time to tell you that I’m your bunk buddy?”
I turn my head so quickly I almost give myself whiplash, and I stare at her as if she grew a second head in the last thirty seconds.
“Are you fucking kidding me?” I grab her arm in disbelief, and she shakes her head with a smile, her bottom lip tucked between her teeth.
“Surprise!” She laughs while I’m still processing her confession. “My mechanical engineering scholarship got accepted, so I filled out your housing application and requested myself. Then I filled out mine and requested you. I didn’t think it would work, but, holy shit, isn’t that awesome?”
Any sane person would feel violated by this. But me? I’m fucking delighted.
“You’re a gift that keeps on giving.” My hands cup her cheeks as I pull her in for a kiss, the excitement getting the best of me. One kiss turns into two, then three, and before I know it, I’m peppering her whole face in them as she laughs. When she finally settles, there’s a mischievous glint in her eyes.
“Wanna test out the beds?”
