Here's an update on the car shelf! Nissan and Mitsubishi were actually small enough I could fit them w Honda & Toyota at the cost of putting some of my in-box cars in the plastic bins for now.

Volvo ended up going with assorted American cars since that's where I had space lol

It's absolutely NOT complete or even close to it yet. I just have too many 1:64 cars to actually fit all of them in here and have it look decent. I'm going to try to get some sort of tiered stands to put them on so it doesn't just look like a parking lot

All of the cars not visible are in the plastic tubs on the bottom shelf btw- eventually I'll have a better setup for this

Also I think I left a few model cars in MY 1:1 real life actual CAR. Which is in the shop right now. So I can't check. Anyway I now know what I want to get next. Need a larger volvo and a Ford mustang. Also a 1:32 Honda civic maybe? I want more Hondas

if anyone knows the value of any of these I think it would just be neat to know. I could look at my shelf and be like "oh it totals to [amount]" not planning to sell anything (right now at least) but it would be neat :]

As much as I love LEGO, the family-friendly brand isn’t going to “break bad” anytime soon. That’s no problem when you can do it yourself though, as evidenced by this MOC of Jimmy McGill’s 1998 Suzuki Esteem! ⚖️🚗

This model does a great job of recreating the sad-looking sedan, which was always in rather poor condition, both aesthetically and mechanically. While most of the car is yellow, the 278-piece set even features the unique red door, which was likely replaced due to a previous collision. 💥

When I can't drive yet, I already have a mini garage of my own haha, which has a mechanic, an engine, and a vintage garage with glued so many nice pictorials. This garage is 1:64 real scale, 1:64 American-style garage miniature scene model.

I have been 3d printing nothing but organizer shelves for my collections lol. I really like being able to see my collections instead of them just sitting in drawers. It’s like a really big version of that cardboard lps pet hotel thing. Look at them sitting in their little cubbies :3

YWS I DID NOTICE THAT !!!!! and I love that idea... anytime he's just really upset, either feeling really depressed or somethings hurt him very bad, he'll shut himself away so it's just him and his cars...sometimes he'll sit and rearrange them around to try to cheer himself up. of course that's his version of playing. so he'll literally play with his cars to cheer up...
