Pairing: Wanderer/Scaramouche x Gn! Reader

Warning(s): Version 3.3 Spoilers

A/N; Guess who’s back! The Sumeru updates brought me so much inspiration and the Scara content was absolutely wonderful. I’m just whipped over that guy, and I kinda started paying more attention to Tighnari as well 👀 so you may expect some content for him too. I’m gonna call him Scara in this because it’ll be too complicated by putting *your name for him*, his nickname’ll just be Kuni - Mod Xiao

A gentle breeze flew past the puppet as he laid underneath the shade of a tree with his head resting on his beloved’s thigh. Everything was so.. calm and peaceful, he was so unused to the feelings that he couldn’t even relax. He laid there with his eyes open, mind full of too many thoughts and memories, he could barely even feel his partner’s hands gently stroking his hair.

“What’s on your mind?” y/n murmured, dragging him out of his thoughts with a small grumble. “You seem on edge, love.”

He still wasn’t used to being called that, he couldn’t help but feel something race inside his chest whenever he heard their sweet voice call him such things. “Nothing that concerns you.” Was all he could reply with, turning his head away from them as his cheeks were dusted with a soft pink.

y/n laughed to themselves softly at the sight, rolling their eyes as they poked his cheeks and squished them together. “Oh? Well from the way you’re acting, either you’re about to throw a temper tantrum, or you’re thinking of moi.” They teased, earning a long groan from the wanderer under them.

“Will you quit that out?” Scaramouche grumbled, swatting their hands away from his face. He began to sit up, but they brought him back down with their hands on his shoulders to keep him in place as they laughed. “Okay, okay. I’m sorry, Kuni.” They said, rolling their eyes at his behavior. “Seems like someone’s a bit of a grumpypants today.”

Instead of commenting, Scaramouche simply laid there quietly. Everything was so.. playful. Remembering his past life as a Harbinger, he couldn’t even remember the last time he had been held with such care- much less be in a playful environment. The scowl on his face couldn’t help but soften as he thought to himself just how lucky was to be in this position. After every betrayal, every hurtful comment that’s been thrown his way, he never thought he’d see the day where someone could actually make him feel.. human.

“You’re such an idiot.” He sighed, reaching a hand up to cup their cheek. “You hardly know anything about me yet you’re treating me like you’ve known me your whole life.”

y/n let out a small hum before looking down at him with a warm smile. “Well, I don’t have to know everything about you to love you, do I?” They asked, leaning their head slightly into his hand. “I guess I’m just your big ‘ol idiot.”

Though he blinked for a moment, the puppet let out a kurt laugh as a small smile graced his lips. His grip on their cheek tightened slightly, turning into more of a pinch than caressing, and all he could feel was his smile widening as y/n playfully whined.

“Yeah, my idiot.”

How they love you.

Aka their way of showing love.

Feat, Wanderer, Kazuha, Xiao

Wanderer loves you from afar. He'll stare at your face for a while and think about talking to you. He doesn't mind walking you home, even if he acts like he hates it. He isn't sure how to properly show his adoration for you, so he hides it. When he truly loves you he's subtle. He'll buy you small things and say "This reminded me of you."

Kazuha loves using his words. When he leaves and you don't come with him, he sends you poems. He writes poems about how much he adores you. He holds your face and tells you how precious you are to him. He's written a list of reasons he loves you and put it in your room for you to find. His poems about you always compliment your insecurities.

Xiao loves like a cat. Xiao is not used to physical affection, but he lets you hug him. He watches over you, when he gets the chance. Xiao doesn't care for social interactions, so he'll leave gifts at your door instead of handing them to you. He always remembers the small things you tell him, like your favorite type of candy, or your favorite color. It takes him a lot of courage to vocally communicate that he loves you, but he still tries.

LOVE BETWEEN FAIRY AND DEVIL FIRST ANNIVERSARY MINI BANG.

Everything in this world is fate. Only love, is not fate.

The Love Between Fairy and Devil/Cang Lan Jue Mini Bang is a fandom event for writers and artists, with the goal of creating collaborative work based on and inspired by the hit 2022 Chinese Drama, Love Between Fairy and Devil. It is in celebration of the first anniversary of the series.

Participating authors will each write a fanfiction of at least 5,000 words. Once the authors have decided on and submitted summaries for their work, the stories will be claimed by artists and matched. As the author works on completing their work, they will collaborate with the artist. Then, each artist will create at least one piece of accompanying fanart. Once we reach the deadline, all fic writers and artists will 'reveal' their work, resulting in a 'bang' of LBFAD fan content.

Signups for both artists and authors will open on AUGUST SEVENTH, aka the first anniversary of LBFaD.

We hope to see as many participants as possible. Please let your friends know, even if they are not on tumblr. Please also share our post regardless of whether you plan to participate or not. After all, more LBFaD fanworks is good for everyone. The more this spreads, the better, as we are a rather small fandom. 💜

Second, the winner is September! So, trying to keep everything in consideration, the chosen week is the one from 11th to 18th of September!

Now, what's next? The prompts!

We will be accepting prompt suggestions until the end of next week (Sunday 9th), and after that we will be making the pool to choose them. We will include last year's suggestions that didn't make it in the week as well.

Also, still like last year, we will keep the Bonus/VA Apreciation Day as default and two prompts will be personally chosen by us mods. The last four will be up to the vote! In case you weren't here last time, this decision was made to leave people freedom to choose but also avoid complete fan favorites domination of all the prompts. Just to spice things up a bit, you know?

How do they show their affection?,

Ft. Cyno, Xiao, Kaveh

Cyno tells you all his jokes as soon as he thinks of one. He shows you his favorite things. He buys you small things that he thinks you'll like. Your room is littered with a bunch of things like, gemstones, mini paintings.

Xiao is at ease around you. He's less tense. When you're out together, he stands extremely close to you like he might as well be touching you. He likes eating with you.

Kaveh loves suddenly kissing you. He does it everywhere. He also draws you things. One time you walked in and saw him drawing you. When he's out he picks flowers for you!
