Rutile being Yellow's only daughter, in high school and dating college hotshot pretty boy Padparadscha. Yellow is a deadbeat dad with four different ex partners and Rutile's mom Ruby left him after she found out he'd cheated on her like three times.

Yellow turns out to be an abusive piece of shit in his grief of losing so many goddamn partners - and he sees his wife in his daughter anyways. So one day daddy decides to show Rutile who the man of the house is.

Cinnabar kicks the sheets off of him. He's dressed a frilly white night shirt, fluffy shorts that ride up his thighs as he sleeps. They're not short enough to cover his knees anyway, knees that are bruised and battered and much too dainty for someone his age.

Cinnabar throws himself off of bed. His legs are still weak, as expected. Not ideal. Not when-

The ivory door swings open, and in comes his butler, Euclase.

"Eat some more," Euclase commands as she feeds him more spoonfuls of pancakes. They're the best gourmet breakfast, but for someone like him who's forcefed it everyday, it tastes much, much much much more bland and disgusting than it actually is. Cinnabar almost chokes as he tries to have it all down.

"Mmph!-"

Euclase soothingly rubs his back. "Here, have some more water. You need to eat, my lord," her hand goes down, in a long, deliberate trail and stops right at his lower back. From the corner of his eye he can see the emerald green glint of her wedding ring.

"Euclase-"

"Shh." Euclase warns him. "Shut up and eat." A nod.

"Rutile has given you your daily checkup, right?"

A silent nod.

"Right. That's good. I wouldn't want her to be shirking work. She has informed me that there's more mercury in your body, but that it doesn't seem to be harming you? Is that true? Do you feel sick, anything at all?"

Cinnabar shakes his head.

Euclase pets his hair indulgently. "That's good."

Cinnabar can tell she's missing her husband. That's really why she's putting up with him. But losing Jade doesn't provide any sort of reason why she wants him to stay inside, forever, in the lavish, luxurious manor.

Not like he has much to complain. Not like it's such a bad thing. But sometimes he wishes to go outside still.

Cinnabar goes to sleep. He feels eyes watching him, and he doesn't mind.

Rutile ends up as a prize at an auction. "Going once, going twice - " Sold to the blonde man and his redheaded husband. Rutile is an indignant, stubborn little thing. She tries to maintain her dignity and modesty even as her new masters Yellow and Padparadscha poke and prod at her body. That indignance slips away the moment Padparadscha brings out the belt - after all, not even Daddy had ever hit her with that. Not even a day later and she's reduced to a pretty little arm candy doll. Rutile feels worthless, her once neat hair shabby and disheveled from the demeaning conditions of her cage back in the auction washed away with flowery shampoo and body wash. Rutile now looks prettier than she did, all dolled up and wearing a gown. Of course, they choose that moment to deflower her. A week later and Rutile goes from being "doll" to "dog" and her spirit breaks down entirely. "Lick my shoe. Clean every crevice, dog." "Clean the toilet - with your tongue, pretty face." And all this she replies with, obediently, a smile forced on her face - "Yes, master."
