I can’t believe Obey Me! is officially gonna stop updating. I need to take the night to process that. This game has always had flaws, this we all know, but it will always be very very near and dear to my heart.

I truly would not be the person I am today without this game. I got it during the pandemic and it has changed my life forever. It was my gateway to otome games, anime, and even self love. I got it at a low point in my life and it has been a huge comfort for me.

This blog used to be solely about reblogging stuff from the Obey Me! fandom funnily enough. I remember how, before these sites forced you to make an account for access, I’d go on tumblr and twitter and scroll through fandom content every day. Fanfiction, fanart, edits, analysis, I ate everything up. My selfsona formally came into creation because of this game. It was my main fandom for years and I will cherish the comfort it gave me.

I may have stopped keeping up with it for a long time now but I still enjoy seeing it on my dashboard and I still love the characters to death. I hope the fandom keeps going even after the game ends.

And with that, good bye to this wonderful game. I loved and will continue to love the characters who have graced my life for the better. And thank you to the people in this fandom who I have followed and watched grow or fade away since then.

Our graduation from RAD is soon, I hope you all continue on wonderful journeys afterwards :)

So the thing is I'm a really anxious person and don't often follow those I don't know/haven't interacted much with. I don't expect follow backs from other artists I follow, they just happen naturally! I hope this doesn't discourage you or seem rude, and it's nothing you've said or done nor is it personal! I'm just very nervous around people/strangers online, and I tend to get intensely weary when something feels parasocial to me!

I also don't really follow minors much cuz I'm not really comfy with engaging with anyone under 18 in general. I act like a big brother or overprotective mama with my friends who are younger than me and I try to keep interactions minimal! If I'm unsure what age you are I am less likely to follow back (age or clarifying if you're an adult or minor in bios helps me)! My art blog is 16+ but I can't check every single person who wants to follow my blog, tho I trust that people can behave and be kind (unlike on tiktok where almost everyone is a bully towards artists ;-: it's a scary place)
