You may recognize @missazura from her art in The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe.

She's amazingly skilled and dedicated, but she needs your help!

She needs to move into an apartment as quickly as possible. The weather in Malaysia is intense and the home she's lives in now cannot take it. Her home is damaged from termites, rot, and severe water damage.

Her computer equipment necessary to keep her job is at risk with every rain storm! She isn't paid a typical bi-weekly schedule and goes without money for weeks at a time. And even when she's paid, it's all spent on keeping the house her family lives in from going without power!!

OUR BASE GOAL IS 3,000 USD. EVERY DOLLAR COUNTS!

Realized how often the Narrator anthropomorphizes things in the Ultra Deluxe in order to encourage or bait Stanley. Which is so much different than how he was in the past endings, specifically the apartment ending. The way he now refers to all the different quotable and memorable objects in the game as Stanley’s friends.

There’s just something about the way the Narrator does at least deeply try to relate to Stanley’s need as a human, understanding more that we are sociable creatures. Giving us the bucket as something to cherish and playing along with the notion (despite getting very obviously upset when Stanley gets too attached to the bucket and then tries to break down that narrative). The attempt made to actually reach out to Stanley in a human-like way.

I don’t know where I’m going with this but the attempt at connection through the similar actions of a person or something like that. Acknowledgement of human needs, even if it's more or less the bare minimum effort.

Comparisons

I feel like this is important bc uhhh um I wanted to make it. And also show their similarities bc I thought it was interesting!

Barbie and Miss Piggy started off quite different from what we now know, neither one pink! In 1959, Barbie debuted in a black and white swimsuit, based off of adult gag gift toys. Eventually the doll line turned from its origins and began marketing to children. The Muppets: Sex and Violence showed an unnamed pig who began appearing in more and more episodes until she became the character we know and love today. I've also seen mentions that Miss Piggy originally appeared on a talk show or ABC special as Piggy Lee, but I couldn't find anything concrete about it.

Both characters ran for president, though Barbie tried 8 times! Barbie could have defeated Clinton, Bush, and/or Obama, but Miss Piggy could have defeated Regan.

Currently there are 41 Barbie movies with a new live action starring Margot Robbie coming out this year! On the other hand, the Muppets have 13 movies (12 depending on how you count.) While I'm not sure if Miss Piggy is in 2 of them, she always takes iconic roles when she's on screen.

Each of them are black belts in karate, with their own custom karate gis. But while Barbie is usually seen working in a professional setting, Miss Piggy does not hesitate to chop one her fellow Muppets or celebrities (see Acts of Violence section in the Miss Piggy's karate chops page of the Muppets Wiki.)

What Barbie is arguable most known for (outside of her extremely long resume) is her iconic color, Barbie Pink! 2022 was named the year of the color with Valentino and a number of celebrities wearing the vibrant color. While Miss Piggy doesn't have her own color, the flower Miss Piggy Pigsqueak (Bergenia cordifolia) is named after her.

Just posting this here to make this blog have a pulse and introduce the Narrator and Stanley concepts I didn't show ^^

Here is Simon and two version of his husband, OGStanley.

To shorten the lore, they were merged together to be Core (xe/xey/xem) for some time now, and are founder(s) of the Parableverse (my version of Paraverse/Narratorverse)

And about their story, let's just say...I based their pre-parable story on the Half-Life 2 Mod ^w^ (This was meant to be a 1/2 art for 427 but I was busy at the time)

UPDATE: HELP STANLEY PARABLE ARTIST AZURA ESCAPE DANGEROUS HOME

The stability of Azura's home has worsened. A spot of the ceiling near her room has fallen due to how weak the structure is, and most likely vermin in the walls.

She is physically and emotionally confined to her room, and I am terrified of her getting hurt. This is urgent.

I've established a contingency plan where if the damage is too much, she's going to a hotel for as long as necessary.

Now, what does this mean for the funds raised? Right now, the funds are untouched, in a US account. I will pay for her hotel and travel to and from with my own money. A clean hotel in Malaysia costs less than my goddamn lunch, and I am more than happy to cover it. If the need arises where I cannot cover costs, then I will post an update detailing how much is used and for what, for complete transparency.

the narrator is a masc leaning gender apathetic panaroace individual with npd

The narrator does not know how to handle criticism at all, but if you give him praise, he will glow for hours if not days

he’s horrified of furbys (furbies?)

the narrator likes classical music and retro game music the most

it probably has some sort of grudge against buckets in general now

its only purpose anymore is stanley, though he would never admit it and often tries to change the perspective to make it look like its the other way around

if he was real it would probably have the worst fucking vision (me too)

The narrator hs abandonment issues and will go to horrible lengths to make sure he isnt abandoned, with very little guilt

it would own a mug that says ‘fuck you’ on the bottom

I just got the impression he doesnt wanna be with sol as much as the demon and idk if theyre already the same person and im confused .,.

No worries! The nature of the situation is confusing and intended to be somewhat Uncomfortable

But to clear things up, Constance, the demon that’s possessing Ross, isn’t the standard demon.

It’s more of a malignant force of corruption that banishes all inhibitions and encourages one to act on all of their impulses and invasive thoughts. And also makes them obsessed with Sol.

So essentially: When Ross is possessed, he doesn’t “become” Constance or a different person, he is still very much himself, but almost in a state of intoxication.
